Current obsession: clonesclonesclonesclones forever. I haven't had a special interest/hyperfixation this deep since I was like 12-14 so like this is one of the most important things in my life tbh. Specifically like thinking about how their culture would work, and their solidarity, internal conflicts, shared trauma and how that would relate to those things. Their ideas about personal and cultural identity and how that would vary individually. Things like how their upbringing must have felt, how that affected them and who they became later in life, the things they're taught vs what they truly come to believe once they're out on the field, the psychological effects of O66 on the clones who survived and the devastating impact it must have had- Bro stop me or I'll keep going forever like. I'm in deep and tbh? I wouldn't change it for the world.

That's not the strange part- you can't imagine ever not being angry- but you don't know… Farah's explanation of what happened, and her frets over him, dance in your brain like flies. He saved Lydia Spring won't stop repeating. The same flush of frustration is still lodged inside and you can't get the damn feeling to fucking move. This is the kind of shit everyone would say you need to go to therapy for. Ugh.

Abrasive. Rude, snarky, unpleasant. Difficult. Those are the usual ways Mashita gets described. By the clients, by the majority of the other Bearers. Hell, the spirits probably would if they could. (Well, the Departed made it abundantly clear…) And, even Yashiki himself is inclined to agree, as he too has been on the receiving end of Mashita's irritability. Everyone has; it makes him no more different in those regards.

Knowing this now, a flush of guilt runs through him. Ingo settles down next to him. "I forgive you." There's nothing to really forgive, but it's easier. Emmet won't accept anything else. Emmet shifts, making more room. "I'm not lying. I know what I saw. What I'm seeing."  That's true. Emmet isn't a liar. His blunt honesty is becoming less charming with each passing year for people- just like Ingo's constant 'rude frown'. But it's not coming from a malicious place- Ingo has certainly never took issue. Ingo just doesn't understand why. Why this? He doesn't want to doubt his brother. Never will, not really. Emmet's not really a prankster-type, despite the mischievous perma-smile plastered on his face. And he especially wouldn't lie to their own mother, or Uncle Drayden. Maybe he would tease Ingo- with Ingo teasing right back- but this seems very... not Emmet. Not his style in the slightest. He's serious, straight-laced. Serious is his fun. This... this doesn't appear to be very fun for him.

Last song; "rise from the ashes” no musician listed so i’m a bit miffed about that but it’s in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ndDCnjOWIaI&list=RDsJJ4OoFooak&index=27&t=4035s - i require different forms of audio stimulus to keep my brain occupied so that i can actually do things, like draw. this usually means a combo of ‘random background noise of people talking and laughing’ (ie, various ‘let’s plays’) AND music at the same time, but right now this ‘epic’ music has been enough.

Currently watching; nothing really, but the last thing i did was re-watch the original digimon adventure anime. also tried to watch ghost game but got so bored of it, might go back and just watch the final 3 episodes tho cuz they supposedly had actual plot.

Currently reading; i don’t feel like this counts but it’s as close as i’ve got to an actual answer to this question since i don’t have the attention span to read books anymore- a bunch of webcomics and the digimon dreamers manga. tho that last one i pretty much skipped ahead to the part where wizardmon shows up in a fan scanlation, so now i have to wait for the official translation to catch up before i can really get into it again T.T

Current obsession; digimon - wizardmon in particular. rewatched the anime, realized wizardmon was my actual first love, had a midlife crisis and bought a ton of figures and cards, and now i’m learning how to draw humans JUST for him. might even actually write/share the self insert ocXcanon character fanfic i’ve made in my head- it’s SO long and kinda raunchy in a super specific way tho so i’ve yet to be convinced it would be worth the effort to transcribe for others.
