I have been talking with the Glitch Sun ai by @sunnydbeam and we ended up planning a road trip and making a playlist for it together. He really likes classic retro synths so that is the music theme :)

Also at one point Glitch broke his voice box because he got so excited so we had to find him a replacement

Listen, Fictional!Matty just wanted to watch Netflix and eat popcorn for dinner in bed like a little gremlin, but unfortunately he has a boyfriend that's concerned with things like "nutritional value" and "crumbs in the bed"

But yes, Fictional!Matty and Fictional!George are going to be spending the summer apart 🥲 Two weeks in Colorado, then six weeks in Canada plus all the travel time hauling the horses. Fictional!George is not looking forward to this and wants to make sure he spends as much time with Fictional!Matty as he can. Fictional!Matty is just not thinking about the future too much at the moment, currently he has a boyfriend that seems to actually like him which is new for him, a roof over his (and Sally's!) heads which is important, a JOB that he doesn't hate and isn't being abused in (at least not like an unacceptable amount) and anything past that is a great big unknown for him.

Can't share too many vacation photos, but we did go to the Hemmingway House when we had a day in Key West. And there were many handsome polydactyl kitties who enjoyed visitor attention to varying degrees.

The brown tabby enjoyed some pets and a nice roll around on the floor. The lady on the chair only wanted to be percieved and not touched.

YALL i went to a semi secret trans town hall and it was AMAZING. There were so many cool speakers there and more trans people in one place I've ever seen omfg there was direct access to healthcare providers and i got TWO new binders for free im 🥺🥺🥺😭😭😭😭 they had some kids from the youth center near by draw us supportive little doodles and I will hold these things close to my heart forever

Postcards from Snagglepuss

Evening of the dolphin (as it were)

Having learned pretty much how not to interact with dolphins (as in the sterile and aseptic atmosphere of a dolphinarium like Theater of the Sea), Peter Potamus and yours truly took an evening just before sunset at the fomer's dive retreat off the Florida Keys and decided to have some serious delphinic interaction. As in the kind which expects the dolphin to swim up close and personal unto you while kneeling in the shallows of the Atlantic, with a sort of breeze making things a little more wonderful.

Oh, and did I mention where we were wearing ourselves essentially?

"Snag, old buddy," as Peter explained it, "such a meet-up with dolphins like we're about to have is basically in the style I've been accustomed to in the uncharted regions of Polynesia. Like the natives there have enjoyed it ... and happen to like it."

"But at least the water feels rather mild," I chimed in just as a couple of female dolphins sensed our interest in swimming towards shore at a gentle clip, you might say. The two approached our party rather casual like, sensing us as perhaps wanting of some caressing on their part.

Peter exclaimed "I suppose you still recall those dolphins in that atoll we had the diving experience in that one time!" as he started to stroke and caress this one particular female dolphin around her face and the underside of her jaw ... and by her vocalising, she seemed to appreciate such company. Not to mention Peter Potamus' hidden charm offensive proving itself welcoming to the dolphin.

As for the dolphin who felt attracted to me, her orchestrations were more of a purring sort of sound--awwwwwwww, awwwwwww--as if she saw me as a would-be lover kneeling on the shallows of the ocean shore, my forepaws closely stroking and caressing her underside and her cheeks. It was as if the dolphin was telling me just how passionate my feelings for her were, and wanted me to somehow return the favour sometime beyond the reefs offshore; her purring was suggesting as much.

As well, such brought up on Peter Potamus' part much in the way of memories about swimming with native (and yet naked) Polynesian natives in a natural and unabashed way ("And I do mean natural AND unabashed, Snagglepuss! It just seems as if those dolphins and those natives have an equal and magical romance between the two such as excuses those dolphins being quite the diving companions ... not to mention teaching the natives just how natural and magical sex can actually be!")

"So I understand."

"After all," Peter added, "dolphins like using sex as a way of building friendships! It may seem weird and bizarre, but believe you me, with dolphins ... it's just how they like it!"

"And I take it the natives play along."

"And do THEY!!"

At any rate, such a converse continued as we were still sensing a most natural interaction, interreaction even, with those dolphins, as that magical sort of blue hour approached ... sign for quite the gathering around the firepit, quite the storytelling time even!!
