just got the time to start the sunshine court and I'm Vibrating out of my skin
#i did not think it was possible for me to like a character this much three chapters into a book#i might actually end up liking Jean better than Neil which is saying a Lot#something about a character whose route to survival had to be giving in and staying small instead of fighting back or running away#something about a character who has been taught to lock up their emotions for years or suffer the consequences#something about a character who is resigned to what happens to them because that's the only way they can survive in their environment#I am desperately hoping that Jean learns how to be ANGRY outwardly without permission.#I need that boy to be able to Rage out loud and do it MESSY#because I'm not convinced he's going to be able to really smile until he does#Also I'm really appreciating both the Renee and Thea content we've desperately needed more of both of them and they showed up so quick#privately hoping both stay present for a while but tbh i'm just excited for where this is headed#Anyways I also just fixated on Jean Moreau then discovered that (SPOILERS) he's 19???? i've come to accept that i'm bad at writing romance, but at least i'm not as bad as the source material
#i hope anyways#most of the time ginny seems to have the same amount of presence as the twins#i checked and she has less even in 5th where she is mentioned more#its hard to tell how many times draco shows up because hes usually referred by last name#and his parents are also referred to by last name#seems to be less but then again he isnt living with harry so...#yknow i want to do ginny justice#just mentioning her doing things in the background isnt exactly going to cut it to make a convincing relationship#almost all those times she isnt even interacting specifically with harry or isnt alone in it#and her trauma from being possessed is hardly mentioned or dealt with until it is needed THREE BOOKS LATER to#tell harry to get over himself essentially#and then the jealousy....#my biggest gripe is the amortentia thing#like wow the thing that says they are in love must mean they are in love!#i think ginny and harry could work but it isnt fleshed out enough#and theres just that little bit of depth lacking which had brought the trio together#sure she fought in the final battle sorta and in the DoM but so did neville and luna#and genuinely neville could be a better love interest than her just bcuz of the prophecy thing plus he also#killed a horcrux which makes him ten times more plot relevant alone#ginny's role is a victim a sexy lamp and a support on the same level as literally half the others#i want to do her justice though considering how im changing the plot im not sure if i can#maybe the hat will say some things to her soon#hmmmm....#i have to reread the books at some point

so today my mom decided to take us on a hike, and my brother and I were walking much farther ahead talking about whatever, and I learned something which I continue to be shocked at and now must tell you.
He was walking slightly farther ahead of me, and I thought I heard him say "Stolas." He did say Stolas. He was talking about the character from Helluva Boss. He has watched every episode of Helluva Boss at least once. He has also seen the entire pilot of Hazbin Hotel.

everything i've seen of him in game so far PLUS alllllllll those leaks hasn't been enough. like. as of Right Now there's nothing for me to latch onto and pick at. the whole "dan heng's past life's ex-husband/fiance" may be enough for some people but i just do not gaf 😭 i need. to see quite a bit more of him before i can even start getting into the territory of actual like/dislike
