You couldn’t think straight, not with his voice filling your head even as he ate you out like blood was nothing compared to your juices.

“Foolish girl. Ungrateful for the dark gift given to you. Eating mice and goats, rather than humans. Have you any idea how hard of a task it was to not drain you dry when I turned you?” His voice echoed in your head like an unwanted siren. “Get out. Out of my head, maitre.” You shook your head back and forth at the overwhelming pleasure as his fingers prodded your entrance. “I made you. Don’t forget that. So silence, so I can do as I please with you, fledgling.”

just gonna hop on my soapbox again about this show but,

hot take: I actually love the colored contacts that the vampires wear because

there is an uncanny valley look to these vampires, that marks them entirely out of place as at any given time. It actually at some points, in my opinion, makes them more frightening. Their eyes tell us that whatever is going on behind them, that it’s beyond fucked up and animalistic.

I can pinpoint several moments where these stupid, gaudy looking contacts enhance the energy that the actors and the editors are going for. The moment where Madeline says Claudia has eyes like her windows, those contacts make Claudia look like so horrifically scarred, the 100 yard stare is made a million mile stare. The moment when Armand is coaxing young Daniel into accepting death, his words are gentle and honeyed, but he looks like a monster, completely inhumane. When Louis loses his shit in the last episode, the man looks absolutely deranged beyond the point of recognition of the man he was before vampirism. There are so many moments in this show where if the contacts weren’t there, we would be missing a part of the potency that lingers in those truly emotionally challenging moments.

Plus the added touch of whether it be the lighting or the costume department changing the intensity of the color of the contacts depending on whether if they want to convey a character’s theme is just such a cool touch.

Anyways serious props to the entire crew on set, in this post specifically the makeup and costume department. We talk a lot about the acting choices but I COULD KISS whoever came up with the fuckass contacts and didn’t go the traditional route of the colonized “pale/white skin”, the easily gone route of “comically prominent fangs”, or god forbid “sparkles”

Gonna talk about what's happening on weibo on Tumblr too because it's so...fucking stupid.

Fans have sighted a woman with Louis and Nat at the airport on their flight home after the fanmeet, whom they assume is Louis girlfriend (he had his arm around her shoulder). Now they are claiming he betrayed Nat and many delulu fans are saying they won't support him anymore (including fansites which shocked me).

Louis then wrote a long instagram post basically explaining that he loves acting but doesn't want to hide who he is because in the end he is also just human. Personally I found it very mature and beautifully written, the way he always expresses himself has always been amazing. Unfortunately angry fans are misinterpreting it as him being selfish and blaming fans, which is ridiculous. He doesn't even mention fans, he talks about himself and what he wishes for in his life.

Personally this feels like a setback to times where idols and actors were seen as something beyond humans and dating was seen as a scandal. Currently he is receiving so much hate which I find ridiculous and dangerous. He didn't betray anyone. Nat was also literally there with them.

In interviews they have always stated that they talk a lot and even share secrets, there is no betrayal. If anyone knows Louis then it's Nat, way better than any fan ever could. Their private lives are non of our business, including their actual partners. Claiming that them living their lives is some sort of betrayal is insane to me, I'm too old for that kind of delusional talk. Unless someone committed a crime this reaction is absolute insanity.

I'm worried about his mental state, he's always been a bit gloomy, I actually do hope he has someone he loves who can support him through this. Poor guy, he just wants to do what he loves. This is so typical of the BL fandom, it makes me sick.
