And yes, Adriana Lothario, in my head is very much like Linda Belcher. And Don (unfortunately) takes after his Nonno later on in life as a serial romancer.

I've been playing TS2 Pleasantview without really documenting much as it's more for my own entertainment. I thought I'd do a quick rundown of my activities though! Don Lothario (Rotation 1)

Don starts off as he means to go on. After inviting Nina Caliente over, he wasted no time and they woohoo'd in the hot tub. I honestly think Don and Nina are endgame. Tell me I'm wrong...I'll ignore you.

He then hired Kaylynn Langerak and proceeded to bonk her too.

Don then invited Dina over for a very quick woohoo while the fortune teller told him he was heading for a fall.

Feeling slightly guilty, or perhaps not feeling guilty, but feeling like he probably should, he invited Cassandra over and woohoo'd with her in the same dirty water he woohoo'd Nina in earlier. Filth!

In between woohooing, Don worked on his skills as he wanted that promotion. In the back of his mind he knew he wanted a cushy job to fall back on should Cassandra ever find out. He used this time to woo(hoo) his co-workers. I will point out that's not Dustin Broke, it's his townie colleague Shea, sporting some familiar hair.

Don's uh...moongazing got him into trouble with Paris Hilton circa 2004 Dina Caliente, but it was worth it, as with his new abilities, he was made General Practitioner.

Pleasantview Reimagined: Don Lothario

Have you ever wondered how different the premade sims and storylines would be if the developers actually stayed true to their interests and personality? No? Just me?

I stumbled across @belladovah's aspiration calculator which calculates the aspiration based off of their personality AND interests - this takes the "whole sim" into account, and it makes sense to me that this is how you would develop their "truest" storyline and lifetime want. I started plugging in some data from the Pleasantview premades and WOW - what a different story that paints!!!

I also found that there's not a single PV sim besides Herb Oldie that has the correct zodiac sign (determined by personality points) and this is huge when it comes to compatibility in the sims! The developers start becoming more accurate with subsequent EP's, but man - they really said "let's just make this sim's zodiac sign wrong even though our coding says a sim with this personality should be a totally different sign".

That gave me an idea to start a brand new Pleasantview with their updated - or what I'm considering as their genuine - aspirations, zodiacs, hobbies, and lifetime wants. I'm finding some sims are pretty on par with their storylines, while others change the dynamic completely. I'm so excited to play PV in a different way than I've ever played before - and I've been playing TS2 for close to 20 years 😅

Anyways, if you made it this far, this is an example of what I'm talking about. Using Belladovah's aspiration calculator, Don is a Popularity Sim with a secondary aspiration of Fortune. His true zodiac is Gemini vs Leo. His "One True Hobby" could be either Fitness or Sports but he has a higher interest in Sports. Because he has such a high interest in Sports, it made sense to me to have him in the Athletic career with a Lifetime Want of "Become Hall of Famer". This is on par with his interests and Fortune/Popularity aspiration.

In conclusion, Don may not be a manh0e. He just wants to be popular - with the ladies 😂 And perhaps the disappearance of Bella *was* an elaborate scheme to gain access to the Goth fortune...

I finally had enough time to load up this game after months without playing, so I decided to completely make over Pleasantview and start a new rotational hood!

Don is first on the playing order, so here’s what happened just days before his wedding to Cassandra Goth:

“hey wanna come woohoo just days before I get married to someone else?”

Kaylynn is hired and is too busy cleaning up Don’s mess to realize what’s going on upstairs.

It’s Dina’s turn to have a piece of Don later that day

… and he goes to bed with no remorse on his mind. Poor Cassie.

Who wants to marry my son? Adriana Lothario dreams of a worthy offspring and is looking for the perfect wife for her son. Demanding as she is, she has yet to find a suitable suitor… What she doesn't know is that her beloved Don is chasing after conquests with no desire to put a ring on his finger.

Alright, we are back to Pleasantview, this time to Don!

I follow the prompts

And we have Nina's first woohoo out of the way xD I wasn't going to invite Dina over like he has the wish to woohoo her also and it got rerolled after he got the Nina wish. But when I gave him the updated wants slot he wished for it again and Nina fucked off so fast after the woohoo.

I hope noone sees them kissing. Imagine you're Don's neighbour and you see he is kissing a redhead in the morning a blonde in the next morning and he is with a brunette in the evening who he claims is his fiancee.

Only one day after playing with him. Look at this mess

Don is off to work but Dina doesn't seem too bothered about it. Just chillin in the tub he porked her sister in yesterday.

I gave Don the full romance tree and a secondary Knowledge because of Skell's story he is forever a nerd playboy in my eyes.

He is here calling in sick to work. I really do not want to lose my favourite sim in Pleasantview to food poisoning xD

A few hours later we have the good news that Don is healthy again so he is off meeting people as he has already moved on from Nina and Dina in his wish panel

Unfortunately for him Erin is the only eligible adult and she is too smart for his shenanigans

He goes back home empty handed xD

Look at that knowledge aspiration take over his wants xD

It is his day off so he's off to the pool this time. Demi Love seems to be getting along with him, he talked earlier with that pink pants lady but it didn't take.

He wishes immediately to go on a date with her and I spring to action.

He however wakes up alone the next morning. And spends the entire day in the hot tub taking advantage of the fact that I was distracted and goes to work late

Yet, still manages to get a promo

To celebrate, he invites Demi over and things progress as you expect

No girl, do not get a crush on him

Classy as ever they finish the date on the couch xD

And he is already ready to move on

It is hilarious to me that he has these as an outerwear and I put this stereo on Metal. He heard me!

He meets this OFB lady before he has to go to work. Unfortunetely for him Demi could be the last girl he meets for a while, depending on how things will go over at the Goth's.

Now that I played him for 6 days I realized I can't actually get them to marry on the first day because he will be older. We'll see what happens.

He is a chad and he actually did get paid at the end of the day so nothing really happened other than a funny story xD

Next we'll be over at the Jacquet's

Hacienda, que linda! - Oasis Spring

I fell in love with this lot, I couldn't not include it in the savefile! The lot is not mine but of the talented simdaisies, I just modified it a little, and I sent the Lothario family to live there.

it is a real hacienda, it has several complexes and a super nice internal courtyard.

on the ground floor we find a study, a painting and carpentry studio (I imagined that the head of the family was a craftsman), the large kitchen and the living room.

upstairs instead there are the bedrooms: the twins, the master bedroom, and the bedroom of the teenager Don!

Now let me introduce you to the Lothario family. As I had already mentioned in the post dedicated to the Caliente sisters, I took the time back a little, so that the story of Don Lothario-a character that I have always liked a lot- can be developed in the best possible way.
