I just have a quick ask! What was it like for Bob and Frank in prison? I remember you mentioning that they’d get in trouble. It just had me thinking about their experience there and how it was for them.

I love that you're curious about it >v< I haven't thought too hard about this part of their stuff but here's some ideas that come to mind!

Bob was sent to prison for cannibalizing his fiance because he loved her so much/ was insanely obsessed w her. When she tried to leave him, he stopped her and killed her right then. So, when he gets to prison, I would think that type of news would get inside and so there's talk around the inmates. Maybe there's a gang thing or something where they try to recruit him for his size/strength but nah he's the big dog. A huge fight breaks out and it's a decent brawl until he catches one guy's hand in his mouth and eats his finger. Maybe he even chewed out his neck or something, I'd havta think on that. [this is where i wanna write the fanfic stuff huhuhu]

Anyway

Bob would be sent to solitary for his first year inside and then was rereleased to the normal area but in his own cell at least. He has all kinds of roommates come in and out over the years. He intimidates most of them, maybe boytoy'd one or two, . He'd probably work his way into being apart of the kitchen and has d e f stabbed people over the years, in and out of the kitchen. Maybe another incident of him cutting someone's finger off or something as he moved up in being a 'boss' of his block. he definitely increased his bloodlust while in prison.

and then Frank comes along.

Frank was sent in because he kidnapped his young daughter from his ex-wife, not wanting to lose her in the divorce. it was a big thing and he ultimately got arrested and imprisoned. coincidentally, he was bunked with bob when he was admitted and was not surprised to see him, but he was to hear why he was there and how things are going.

Frank worked his rank to be second feared under Bob. [you cant just hand that to someone] While Bob was known to be cruel and harsh, Frank took the more 'good cop' of hearing someone out before something might happen to them. this went poorly in some way one time and he was ambushed in the yard and beaten for whatever reason.

somethingsomething he doesnt talk about when he had his eyes dyed. they were injected with black pen ink and he had a severe reaction to it [duh], causing a lot of his vision to be blacked out and/or blurry. im thinking this probs happened cuz of gang rivalry or something. i dont see him having done this of his own accord.

fortunately, Frank's sentencing wasn't insanely long so he gets out even though he has permanent damage. he's out for maybe a year or two, getting the house in the farmland to prep for Bob's escape. they would've discussed all this planning and stuff during their prison-time. longtalks of how they can keep doing what they want to do but more sneaky. cant a girl have a hobby?

After a couple years, Bob makes his escape and finds Frank as planned to start up the diner. They both continue to murder, kidnap, and steal to this day. uwuc

a long call

Mir ging es jetzt zwei Tage richtig scheiße. Ich wollte niemanden sehen, niemanden sprechen und war eigentlich die ganze Zeit nur kurz vorm Heulen. Und als es gestern (also Freitag) richtig schlimm wurde, habe ich John gefragt, ob er Zeit und Lust zum Zocken hat, ich bräuchte Ablenkung. Und dann war ich tatsächlich sehr abgelenkt von meinen Gefühlen und Gedanken. Und zu guter Letzt habe ich ihm dann sogar noch davon erzählt, was mich belastet, wenigstens grob. Und wir haben insgesamt 9h telefoniert, von ca. halb 11 Abends bis halb 8 morgens. Wir haben also, während die Welt schlief einen echten (und von mir gestern gewünschtes) Campfire-Talk gehabt. Und es war wunderbar. Er ist ein so toller Mensch und ich rede so gerne mit tihm und vor allem auch so gerne stundenlang. Aber was wirklich wichtig an dem Text ist: Ich habe es mir gestern gewünscht, ich habe es so dringend gebraucht und es ist heute in Erfüllung gegangen. Gebt niemals auf. Manchmal passiert uns allen etwas Gutes!
