I love how Grumbo is basically just Grian and Mumbo being weird about each other. Like weirdly attached???

Their bases are always v close, they have children together, Grian keeps being obsessed with Mumbo, even referencing him in random videos for no actual reason, they literally say stuff like "You have the perfect face", "I'm like Mumbo's needy girlfriend.", "Grian, you babe," the others' approval has been weirdly important since they got to know each other, they're literally chosen soulmates, and they can and will create a summoning circle if the other dissappear,

And that's just some random ass moments that I can remember rn, but God Damn these British men are weird about each other, and it's endlessly entertaining for me.

You know what? I realize now that I was way too stressed and harsh on myself back in college when making personal logo designs in my graphic design course. Seeing what large companies think is professional "branding" over the past few years in simplifying their logos into unrecognizable and/or boring shapes is an unexpected confidence boost I wasn't anticipating.

The Green brain rot has not stopped, the newest episode has not helped in the slightest

This is actually something I've been thinking about for a while, I think since "The Prank" came out, but like–

Green is dangerous.

I know I know, I hear the people screaming "But Rage, all the sticks are dangerous in their own ways, just look at Orange–" and I promise I hear you. But we are not talking about Orange or the other sticks today, we are talking about Green. And his particular brand of danger.

Green has been solidified as the perfectionist; the one who does everything to best of his ability and does it well.

His combat is ridiculously fast and smooth, as well as his ability to evade attacks to near perfection. But I think Green's real danger comes from his emotions.

Let's look at the newest video, "Note Block Concert". Green obviously had a plan for how this concert was going to go, and when those plans were thwarted he is visibly distressed.

As the video continues he becomes more and more angry, his combat getting progressively faster and more violent, the music notes acting as weapons, until he uses the staff to unleash a blast similar to King's attempt to destroy Minecraft.

Y'all saw that, right? That was a huge amount of power and yes it's music notes, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was capable of enormous destruction. Would anyone else be able to create such a blast? Maybe, but it felt very much like a cathartic reaction.

It's just– Green has such an air about him. He is sharp, he is skilled. He is dangerous. I don't know how to end this

Hey-ho! I'm back again with some Apex Polarity art, but this time it's some designs for the humans' snow gear!

It started out with me just trying to figure out a design for y/n in my little comic, but then I thought it would be fun to also try and visualize the other humans, so here's my take of y/n, Vanessa and Michael! I really like how they turned out, although I don't think I got Vanessa's "patchwork" look quite right, but I still like where I landed. I added a blue scarf and I was really tempted to give her those red goggles, since it would've made her resemble Vanny even more, but in the end I desided against it.

So yeah- nothing too big this time, just something fun and easy!

But to round this off, I will of course credit the wonderful author @naffeclipse who is writing Apex Polarity, which you can go read if you click right here (can 100% recommend, especially if you like stories with a bunch of fluff, mystery and drama~!) and today I give credit to myself for the designs of the humans! ;P

this is all pointless garbage but for the past decade+ that I've been using ao3, I always assumed the logo was the whole title condensed in a graphic and that people started calling it ao3 because the resulting graphic of all the letters combined looked like it said ao3

I thought it was very cool and just assumed that's what it was, that the designer had put all of the letters in one design and people saw an ao3 in it and rolled with calling it that

I was today years old when I found out it's meant to be this:

The logo for the Archive was designed in 2009 by coder volunteer Bingeling with input from Accessibility, Design, & Technology committee members. Fun fact: it was originally intended as an interim design until a permanent logo design could be created, but everyone liked it so much that it stayed. It combines the characters A, O, and 3 with arms raised in celebration, symbolizing the joy of fannish creation on the Archive. The acronym "AO3" comes from the initials of the English site title Archive of Our Own–an A and three O's.
