sometimes writing fanfiction means completely mentally renovating a building's layout so your plans can even remotely make sense in it and that's okay

The Folsom people are believed to be the first to discover the geologic marvel, which was a subsequent gathering place for the Ute, Southern Cheyenne and Southern Arapaho tribes. In the years since, Red Rocks has hosted the biggest names in music while gaining fame in its own right as one of the Natural Wonders of the World. A pair of 300-foot monoliths, known as Ship Rock (stage right) and Creation Rock (stage left), help produce the site’s pristine sound.

Dispossessed
They don’t drift apart so much as never coagulate again.
Celegorm vanishes into the deep woods as hastily as he can manage, before the shock of his Return (“Him first? Of all of them!?”) fully ebbs; if the hounds of Oromë howl in strange voices, they have always been a little wild.
Caranthir builds a house on a quiet hillside, and counts naught but the stitches in his tapestries; he has not ceased to weave since with the first thread he closed his harsh mouth for ever.
Curufin lifts a hammer once—and sees only shattered fingers upon the anvil.
Maedhros lies at the feet of Mercy Undeserved until he remembers how to cry again, then dons a dark veil of his own, padding through the halls of Fui to lend what tears he may, unnumbered as they are.
Ambarussa are never seen again—not directly; a lick of flame, trembling leaves, a fox’s scream; at the edge of perception, copper entwines with fate, glimmering beyond reach.
Maglor returns with pride tempered but unquenched, with a tongue tired of laments, with many deeds of selfless kindness ready for praise, with expectations—and finds ashes, and a land long moved on.

Safe House Shenanigans: The Radio.
Jodie, stirring her coffee with a bit more vigour than needed: He's done it again, changed the damn channel. I was listening to that song and enjoying it.
Vasili (@welldonekhushi's oc), who is stood next to Jodie: *nods and then goes over to change the station*
Jodie and Vasili stand and wait, as Aleks comes to join them for a refill.
Aleks (@alypink's oc): are you two alright? You're staring at Adler intently...
Jodie: we're making sure he doesn't change the cha- there. he's done it again.
Charles (@deeptrashwitchs oc): you could just...change it back. Adler always chooses the worst channels to listen to. Anything any of you would choose would be better.
Jodie, pouting: I don't really feel like taking part in radio warfare. He'll just end up stealing it away and keeping for himself no doubt...
Charles: steal it first then.
Vasili and Jodie look at each other quickly, a silent conversation happening as a mischievous glint shines in their eyes.
Aleks: Charles... what have you done?
Charles, as he watches Vasili and Jodie walk away: Gods work.

alright. know what? with Secrets of the Obscure right around the corner and plenty of new Mists-related sky island settings coming with it, I'll just bite the bullet and interest-check a little something I've been turning in my head for a long, long while.
would YOU be interested in a Mists-based GW2 roleplay guild that uses a lore compliant multiverse system to allow canon, canon-adjacent, lore-breaking, and otherwise 'contradictory' muses to coexist in the same setting?
simply put: every writer's cast would be set in their own self-contained universe. as such, everyone could bring whatever muses they want with their own personal headcanons, and no one could dictate what is or isn't canon for anyone else. so long as your muses are GW2-based, you're good to go! bring your Commanders, bring your canon-divergent OCs, bring your canon muses-- and yes, even the ones that are 'supposed' to be dead. who can say what might have happened in a strange world far across the Mists, after all?
neutral hubs and in-character safety guardrails would be in place to keep all muses on a relatively even playing field regardless of their power, history, and prestige, too. play hardball if you like, but it might not end quite the way you'd hope. the main rule would be to maintain good OOC etiquette at all times: no godmodding, no metagaming, no theft, don't blend IC and OOC, and so-on.
if that sounds like something you might have interest in, please interact with this post! and if you've got questions or concerns, I'd love to hear them; feel free to send an ask or a DM, or just reply to this post!

Hamilton Hall
Salem, Massachusetts
For over two hundred years Hamilton Hall on Salem’s scenic Chestnut Street has served as a gathering place for the community. The building dates to 1805, when Samuel McIntire was commissioned to design a meeting place for Salem’s Federalist Party. It was named to honor Federalist Party leader Alexander Hamilton.
As the 19th century progressed, the Hall became an ideal place for dance studios due to Samuel McIntire’s signature spring floors. Lorenzo Papanti, a master dance instructor from Boston regularly held classes at Hamilton Hall, attended by the children of Salem’s elite. The dance classes later gave way to grand debutante presentations and balls. In the 20th century, local instructors Henry O. Upton and Harriet James continued the tradition of providing lessons at the Hall, which lasted into the 1970s.
One of the Hall’s oldest traditions and its largest fundraiser is the annual Christmas Week Dance, which can be traced back to the 1880s. Money is also raised for the Hall through a lecture series sponsored by the Ladies Committee. The series has been in place for seventy years and features a variety of speakers, discussing domestic and foreign affairs.
In 1970, Hamilton Hall was designated as a National Historic Landmark and today is regularly rented for banquets, weddings and, as its original intention, a meeting place.
There have been claims of seeing an apparition of a male on the stairwell, then just disappear. Visitors have claimed to have felt unusual cold spots throughout the house.
