I've recommended this fic by @kosmochlor on my blog before, and I'm gonna do it again. It's far and away the best thing written about Becca Butcher. If that sounds like faint praise to you-- hell, the TV show couldn't be assed to give her a full-fledged personality-- it is not. It's well-written, and meticulously plotted. It's also quite kinky, which might not be what you expect from the first chapter lol. It is a very interesting take on what would happen if Becca survived season 2, and instead of hiding out in safehouses with Ryan trying to keep out of Homelander's sight, took the fucking reins of her life back. Went public with her story (or at least a fictional version of it). Made Homelander, Vought, and Billy play along. All while keeping Ryan safe and more or less out of harm's way.

Fans of women who deserved better in canon, read it. Butchlander fans, read it. It's an interesting twist on this triangle that underpins the show's main conflict, and lets a fridged victim come to vibrant, quirky life.

📚 New Read : Little Liar & Little Stranger x Leigh Rivers 📚

This series was INSANEEEEEE 😭 when they say taboo they definitely mean taboo. There were so many twists and turns in this book that it was almost addicting to want to know what Malachi was going to do next. I did find the main lead Olivia to be annoying throughout the series, However their dynamic fit.

I do wish they went a bit more into detail about Malachi’s dad and what his official diagnosis was but overall the storyline was good. The family dynamic was also interesting I wish they went into more of a backstory with how the Vize family (mom& dad) marriage was arranged and why they went down the path that they did.

Not including any quotes from the book bc it’ll just have spoilers 😭 very taboo and very smutty !

I’m so sorry but this is a little strangers series hate account like the book was good 100% but everyone was talking about how dark it is and everything but honestly I didn’t think it was that bad like I was waiting for it to go deeper like yes I know her foster brother fucked her over her dying dad but it just needed more

Like maybe I’m just fucked in the head for thinking it wasn’t that dark but like kinda disappointed 😔😵‍💫
