Dolly’s Crafts Pt. 2!!

My beautiful little baby angel made the cutest little snowman oh my goodness!! Look how lovely <33 We absolutely must hang it in the tree!! My pretty little fairy loves to make art and crafts, I adore how creative he is and i cherish every single one of these cute little ornaments and decorations <33

Later on I may post the crafts that my little princess made back when it was Halloween time or beforehand even though they’re not in season anymore :P Halloween is all year round in our hearts though! We love all things spooky and scary, my little kiddo is such a brave baby! Just don’t mention herobrine to him :P

Just like the ornament crafts before, these are super duper easy to make and thankfully there’s no hot ovens involved this time! In the next section I’ll give more info!

Here’s the cutest little snowman craft my baby made!!

For this DIY you will need…

🍼) Baker’s Twine

🍼) Wood Beads!!

🍼) Tape

🍼) Paint!! (Or Makers!)

🍼) Ribbon

🍼) Scissors!

These are called Wood Bead Ornaments and just like in part 1 I will link a post that goes more into detail on to how make these step by step!

I love making posts where I talk about my little one! It makes me feel like such a proud dad being able to show off the beautiful things my special little kiddo makes and being able to talk about his accomplishments and how far he’s come, I’m truly proud of you, Dolly <3

Love the contrast between the Americans’ “Apollo” and the Soviets’ “Sputnik.” You got the Americans naming their rocket after a Greek god trying to communicate the grandness and importance of this rocket. And you got the Soviets naming their rocket “fellow traveler.” Like a friend you go on an adventure with together. This rocket is our little friend lol

#i think its cute #they took the mars rover approach #humanizing the space craft making it cute making us (me) project emotions onto it #the soviets also used imagery of laika in propaganda a lot #which is pretty fucked up imo #but if i grew up in the soviet union that shit wouldve definetly worked on me lmao #the narrative of a heroic little dog going to space and being honored by the whole country #as cruely wrong as it is its very appealing #the soviets knew what they were doing man they didnt reveal how laika really died until like. the 2000s #bc they knew people really cared about that dog #they liked the narrative around her

Danny accepts that because of his half dead status he won't be able to become an astronaut and he has to find a different way to feed his space obsession.

He decides to get really into astromancy (yes, the magic. He already knows everything about astronomy). He gets himself the more spiritual star charts, old surprisingly authentic tomes about the art and divination cards to go with it all and gets to learning.

Tbh he kind of went into this not expecting much but it turns out he had homo magus heritage from his Nightingale roots and he actually manages to call upon the power of the stars.

He figures he can blame the vaporized wall on ghosts.

Meanwhile, a foreboding feeling like cold shivers run down the spines of several magic users that they can only describe as "a child having figured out they need to switch off the safety on their mini nuke launcher in order to fire it"

The JLD is scrambling to locate the source of the surge in magic power before someone with bad intentions can get there.

Walking into a yarn shop like it's an art museum. Admiring all the colorways and textures of the various skeins. Nodding my head at the tasteful displays of handmade items by the local knitting/crochet group to demonstrate the different yarn brands. Talking to the owner to learn more about the local fiber art scene and learning about different dyers, and crafters in the area that I would have never found on the internet. Buying one too many skeins to continue my pursuit of creating beautiful things to bring joy into mine and others lives. My way of paying homage to this wonderland of fibrous beauty.

Fucking glorious.

this is Monty! he's named after Monty from fnaf :3 he was a Valentine's day gift from my mom a few years ago! he's been on a lot of adventures with me! a long trip to Texas (over a day of driving away T^T) and Arkansas (almost the same) with me!! he's seen a lot!! :3

this is Sephira! she’s named after wind! she’s very new around here but she’s become a wonderful friend!! she is 2.5 pounds and she has a textured tongue for stress and anxiety relief. she helps me a lot :3 instead of breathing fire, she breathes a powerful wind that helps plants flourish and grow and she watches over and protects treasures :)

this is pebble!! she's the cutest, softest little penguin i've ever seen :') she was a gift from my boyfriend. she's tiny and shy, but she's always got a lot to tell me c:

this is Manny, also from my boyfriend. my boyfriend named him, though I'm not a big fan, so I just call him moose! he's a good snuggle buddy and always helps with my anxiety!

Dolly’s Christmas Crafts!

My little baby made these Christmas Ornaments and wanted me to share the recipe for any other little ones out there who want something fun to make as decorations for their own tree!

It’s super duper easy to make but make sure you have your caregiver with you to keep you safe from hot ovens or big tasks!! Keep in mind these are made of edible ingredients but they’re extremely salty and yucky so I advise not to eat them!

These are the cutest ornaments I’ve ever seen and the fact that my little kiddo made them only makes it so much cuter!!

For this DIY you will need…

🍼) Salt Dough

🍼) String (to hang on the tree!!)

🍼) Cookie cutters (shapes!!)

🍼) Paint!!

🍼) All purpose flour

🍼) Water

🍼) Table Salt

🍼) An Oven (easy bake not advised :P)
