This is a stimboard I made for my little princess a few days back, i wanted to post it on here because it was pretty fun to make and i’ve been collecting some pictures to make an Agere Rapunzel stimboard next, it’ll be fun to stay on theme with this blog!

Tips for new Caregivers!❤️

(Coming from a caregiver of 2 years.)

1.) Communicate with your little!

Communication is key in any CG and little relationship! Whether your relationship is strictly platonic, romantic, or you aren't sure yet, communicating can help both of you understand one another and can help you as a CG learn more about your little (their likes, dislikes, boundaries, what petnames/nicknames are okay etc.)

2.) Set rules with your little one!

Something I wish someone had told me in the beginning of my caregiver journey is to set rules with my littles! Setting rules like brushing teeth twice a day or having a bedtime can positivity impact your little by giving them the chance to be healthier and have better sleep. I also noticed that some littles will even feel more small when given rules! So having rules set in place is overall a great way to help your kiddo! :]

(NOTE: Some littles prefer to not have structure, it really just depends on the little. I just find that most littles prefer to have rules as part of their Agere!)

3.) Set up a punishment/reward system with your kiddo!

Having a punishment/reward system for your little can actually be a great way to reinforce rules! Having little rewards like extra candy, a later bedtime, or even more screentime is a great way to encourage your little one to behave and follow the rules. Some punishments I personally have in place for my kiddos include "lines" (writing the same thing over and over again), limited screen time, and no sweets/candy for a week. NEVER USE PHYSICAL PUNISHMENT OR YELLING/SCREAMING. I don't care what you have to say about it, NEVER use violence to punish a kiddo. It is never okay, regardless of what they did. Hurting them can cause them to be reminded of trauma or even throw them into a PTSD flashback. In general, it's never a good idea to harm a kiddo whether it be emotionally or physically.

(NOTE: I will repeat myself, Never physically or emotionally harm your little one. It is never okay!)

4.) Know the difference between being a Caregiver and a babysitter!

Being a caregiver is a big responsibility! Being a babysitter, not so much! Being a caregiver means being there for your little one most of the time, this can look like daily check ins, calling and texting often and generally just being there for your kiddo! Being a babysitter is exactly what it sounds like, you're only watching the little for a small amount of time and aren't dedicated to them the same way a caregiver is!

5.) Learn how to handle breakdowns/panic attacks/anxiety attacks etc.

Learning to deal with breakdowns and such can Greatly help your kiddo feel safe and comfortable around you! Remember, not all regression will be pure. You will most likely at some point deal with impure regression which means your little may experience unstable emotions, anxiety attacks, panic attacks and breakdowns! Learn how to handle these things, and you'll be in the clear to help your little in these times of anxiety and sadness!

6.) Don't rush your little into calling you "special" names like mommy, daddy, etc.

Not all littles will be comfortable with calling you a special name immediately or ever! Some prefer calling you your name plain and simple, and that is perfectly okay! Trying to force/rush your kiddo into calling you something special may result in your little one not feeling safe/comfy around you anymore.

7.) Don't take care of more than you can handle!

As caregivers, it's in our nature to want to take care of as many littles as possible, but that's just not something we can do. It can be overwhelming to take care of more than one little at a time, I know that from experience! So if you know you can't handle it, don't! As tempting as it might be, don't bite off more than you can chew!

8.) Be open minded!

It's important to understand that not all littles will be the same, some may be more independent and others may need extra help! Try to have an open mind and an open heart when caregiving :]

Rider is Dad Dreaming: Dolly’s Morning Routine!

Hey there little tot! It’s time to rise and shine!

Aww don’t wanna get out of bed, huh? C’mon, sunshine, it’s time to start the day! Think about all of the fun things we’ll get to do today once you’re up… we can paint or make bracelets or we can play dress up and watch cartoons just how you like! We can do anything your sweet little tiny tot heart desires <3

Sounds good? Sounds fun? Yeah, love bug? Alright!Let’s get you up and out of bed, sleepyhead <33

I’ll scoop you up into my arms and out of bed, you can cling onto your plushies or your blankie while I carry you out of your comfy little room and into the bathroom! I’ll hold my little love against me while your daddy brushes your teeth for you since you’re far too sleepy and little to do it yourself <3 We need to make sure that they’re strong and healthy, right?

Don’t worry, little one, Dada’s on the job!

It’s time to wash your cute little face, tiny one! Let’s get a cloth and damp it a bit with warm water from the sink, we can gently glide it on your face until we can wash all of that grogginess away! I’ll make sure to be gentle with my little sleepy tot so don’t worry about a thing, ok? You’ll always be safe with your daddy taking care of you, sweet thing!

All done, honeybun? All done! Let’s get you dressed up and ready to run around and play! I’ll hold your teeny tiny little hand and guide you back to your room, we’ll plan out your cute little outfit of the day together! Let’s pick the perfect one for a pretty princess like you!

Oh my goodness!! You look so cute!! I’m in awe at my pretty baby, you really are the cutest little button! You look so lovely in your pretty clothes, you should feel pretty, babydoll. Who’s the cutest little one? It’s you! <3

Come here, honeybun, do a little spin for daddy! Oh my goodness!! How cute!! You’re the teeniest baby!!

Time for breakfast, my sweet little baby! What would you like today? Let Da carry you to the kitchen and help you sit comfortably in your chair. Would you like a bib, sweetie? You can pick whichever little plate you’d like! That one? Aww what a good choice, baby! It’s so cute almost just as cute as you!

What would you like to eat today, honey pie? I’ll get you whatever you’d like. That sounds yummy! What would you like to drink, sweetie? Noo, little fairy, we can’t do soda so early in the morning, how about some juice or flavored water instead? You like the lemonade kind, right, baby?

I can recognize that cute little pout anywhere but it’s for your own good, tiny ones can’t be drinking something so strong so early, it’ll make your tummy upset! We can have some soda together later on, deal?What’s the matter, baby? It’s ok, sweetheart, you can tell daddy what’s on your mind, I promise I won’t be mad. Let’s try using your words, ok, tiny? There we go, good job! I’m so proud!!

You’d prefer some strawberry milk instead? Why of course, little princess! Whatever you’d like! Would you prefer it warmed up or cold, little love? Perfect! Let me go get your sippy and Da will get your breakfast ready!

Breakfast is served, little one! Make sure to eat up so you can get enough energy to play and we can enjoy the rest of the day together! Good job, babygirl! I’m so proud of you!! You’re doing amazing, little love.

I’ve been wanting to start posting on here more for my own comfort so I’ll mainly be rambling in this post, I’ve been really stressed out with finals but taking care of my little tot has been the best way to clear my mind <3 I really do feel grateful to have dolly in my life and being able to take care of such a special little girl makes me feel like the luckiest dad in the world!!

My little baby has been getting into making bracelets lately and they are beautiful! Dolly doesn’t color often since he’s more of a sleepy little one and more into arts and crafts but it’s such a treat to see whenever he does!! I wanted to post some of his adorable work <33

Today I have a final in the morning, I made sure to get up bright and early to prepare for it while my sweet little baby rests up <3 Hopefully I will be done with my exam before Dolly wakes up so I can be there to greet my little fairy! He’s the cutest when he wakes up, he’s so sleepy and clingy and so so tiny!! My goodness what a lucky dad I am to have such a silly baby!

Dolly’s Crafts Pt. 2!!

My beautiful little baby angel made the cutest little snowman oh my goodness!! Look how lovely <33 We absolutely must hang it in the tree!! My pretty little fairy loves to make art and crafts, I adore how creative he is and i cherish every single one of these cute little ornaments and decorations <33

Later on I may post the crafts that my little princess made back when it was Halloween time or beforehand even though they’re not in season anymore :P Halloween is all year round in our hearts though! We love all things spooky and scary, my little kiddo is such a brave baby! Just don’t mention herobrine to him :P

Just like the ornament crafts before, these are super duper easy to make and thankfully there’s no hot ovens involved this time! In the next section I’ll give more info!

Dolly’s Christmas Crafts!

My little baby made these Christmas Ornaments and wanted me to share the recipe for any other little ones out there who want something fun to make as decorations for their own tree!

It’s super duper easy to make but make sure you have your caregiver with you to keep you safe from hot ovens or big tasks!! Keep in mind these are made of edible ingredients but they’re extremely salty and yucky so I advise not to eat them!

These are the cutest ornaments I’ve ever seen and the fact that my little kiddo made them only makes it so much cuter!!

For this DIY you will need…

🍼) Salt Dough

🍼) String (to hang on the tree!!)

🍼) Cookie cutters (shapes!!)

🍼) Paint!!

🍼) All purpose flour

🍼) Water

🍼) Table Salt

🍼) An Oven (easy bake not advised :P)

I’m Dolly’s Dad but I’ll also go by Rider until I can figure out something else :P I use he/him, I’m 19 and this is my cg account! Caregiving has been my coping mechanism for quite a long time and recently I’ve been wanting to post for my own comfort.
