Little Planet Has Appeared Several Times Since Sonic CD

So in the Sonic Twitter Takeover #6 - All Answers at 33:08 Amy is asked if she visits Little Planet when it reappears, which would be in reference to her visiting it since Sonic CD. When Amy answers her answer implied she has visited Little Planet not just one time but multiple times sense then. She also reestablishes it shows up for one month a year.

This would mean at least several years have passed since Sonic CD. This could also corroborate Sonic The Hedgehog 4's implications that modern Eggman has visited Little Planet at least twice since Sonic CD. Given Amy wouldn't have been able to visit any of those times without having to deal with Eggman it would have to be after those times. Also, given her wording she would have had to had visited sometime after Sonic Adventure.

Summer! Summer! It is a time of flowers and plants! It is a time to see so different colors. Wow! Right now, I can see lots of different color! Phrase from movie. So, it is a such a moment. Flower beds are very beautiful things. You can sit and watch what is growing on there. And it is flowers. And something green, as a fir tree, it can be also.

And, by the way, every flower bed – it is unique standalone planet. So, it has its own things to grow. At one flower bed you can see this flower, at another one - something different to grow. And they have a distance between near flowerbeds. It is like space. Distance. It is its own small unique world at every flower bed.

Happy 31st Anniversary, Sonic CD!

Today is the 31st Anniversary of

Sonic the Hedgehog CD or Sonic CD since it came to the US!

It has now been 31 years since Sonic the Hedgehog had went back in time to save the Little Planet from the clutches of Dr. Robotnik slash Eggman by finding the Time Stones!

Also, this game was the debut of the love interest of Sonic, Amy Rose,

and Metal Sonic, the copy of the original Sonic! We must all remember the epic race that Sonic had with him on Stardust Speedway!

Sonic CD JP Manual

A small and beautiful star, Little Planet.

This planet comes over the huge lake called Never Lake for one month of the year.

That planet, also known as Miracle Planet, is where the "Time Stones", mysterious stones that are said to control time, lay dormant.

The Time Stones can cause events such as turning deserts into jungles, polluted lakes into beautiful lakes, and other time-crossing wonders.

It was Doctor Eggman, the infamous genius scientist, the one who took notice of them.

"Little Planet, the place where the Time Stones sleep, is a great fit for my fortress!"

Then, he anchored Little Planet in the sky over Never Lake and began building a huge fortress. He set out to achieve his ambitions of world domination by obtaining all the Time Stones and controling time at will.

Meanwhile, Sonic, who knew nothing about all this, headed to Never Lake to see Little Planet...

"What? Sonic is coming? ...How convenient.

"When Doctor Eggman heard the report, his eyes lit up with a fearless smile.

What Sonic saw as he arrived was a miserable Little Planet, fixed by a chain extending from a rock. And the face of Doctor Eggman was on the slope...

"That blasted Eggman...!"

"This time, I will crush you with my scientific power...! Then I will collect the Time Stones, and conquer the world! Ho ho ho...

"Ambushed with an eerie laughter, there was Doctor Eggman and a blue flash lurking in his shadow...

Sonic has easily thwarted Doctor Eggman's ambitions, but will he be able to free Little Planet in front of him?

"It's okay! As long as I have courage, I can do anything!"
