I kinda maybe put a lot of my OC plot tag lines on a Wheel and gave it a spin so outta 79 options, it landed on "Cellphone Justice" which is... these two.
Matthew "Skittles" Mouse and Daisy Eddington
Partners in justice (of sorts). They're basically vigilantes and their orders are simply text messages. They don't really know who their bosses are but they do as they are told.
Skittles is a very mediocre guy. Doesn't stand out. The most color he has in his wardrobe is blue jeans. He's amazingly asexual and has zero interest in romance regardless of intimacy and yet he gets partnered with Daisy. The gayest lady he has ever met. Great start. She enjoys calling him fun little nicknames but seeing as they're monitored closely (via cell phones/technology) she is scolded and told to pick a single one. So she does. She dubs him Skittles. The candy as gay as her.
The one thing they have in common is their number one weakness: cute girls.
Daisy turns into a stuttering MESS of a human being. A disaster. At the mere sight of a cute girl. Skittles on the other hand is TERRIFIED of them. When asked, he simply blames his life growing up. Daisy doesn't really push the matter just thinks it's a little weird to be scared of every single cute girl (no offense to the not being afraid of her taken).
#my characters#like the entire thing with skittles is just he is SO boring looking and hes so scared of cute girls#and daisy thinks its REALLY FUNNY dude why are you scared of them haha girls are GREAT#and then she meets his younger sister and is like oh dang dude she is ADORABLE and she sees him practically shaking and sweating#surely its not THAT bad but ah no wait#two days pass and daisy is like oh my god shes horrifying ????? what the hell?#and growing up with her and trying to be a good big brother is all fine and dandy until the cute lil sister gets him hurt a lot#like hospital injuries from either protecting her or just .... somehow wrong place with her at the wrong times all the time#so he gets a fear of cute girls bc his lil sister is a cute monster who is the reason most of his limbs have been broken in the past#like broken leg ? that was from amelia and a stair case#the broken arm ? trying to help amelia get something out of a tree#the broken wrist ? catching amelia falling out of a tree#the other broken leg ? amelia -#the list goes on and on and he also got into multiple fights trying to keep her safe from guys#bc she really is just a cute lil innocent looking girl but shes a schemer and it does come back to bite her#except for she has a good big bro who took the repercussions when he could#daisy just watching her partner pale and shake and sweat when hes in the same room as his sister and daisy feels so bad for him#like hes really going through it even after all these years#but meeting amelia puts a lot into perspective for when daisy and skittles are out and about#cause hes very efficient and chill talking to dudes and to mature looking women#then he turns into a bundle of nerves at wide eyed innocence and daisy is like yeah ok i gotta#i gotta be a lil less gay for his sake only if hes around cause i cant make him talk to his biggest fear thats mean#shes still really gay but yeah it works out and she looks out for him and in turn he looks out for her and its great!#they become friends! yeehaw!#lil trivia is she was a drama kid in hs and he was on the baseball team but never really played or put effort into it#she was a straight a student and he very consciously maintained a c average through calculating grades and missing stuff on tests on purpos#anyway thank u if you read all the tags or even ty if you read just hte post itself#im sorry for ocing on main when its my own ocs#ill be back tomorrow with .... idk what

mixed events i think we absolutely 100% need
-toya/mafuyu focus. intentionally or not, toya shows mafuyu that there really is a path forward from an abusive household. its not perfect and honestly it never can be but there are still ways to heal despite the scars.
-an/kanade/emu focus dealing with the loss of a loved one but in a very chaotic but heartwarming emu way. an and k learning about emu's loss but her showing them a way to keep them in their heart even though it kind of hurts sometimes.
-akito overhearing ruikasa talking about a "very responsible and mature kaito" and him just going "he would f***ing not say that". never does it occur to akito that this implies there are other sekai, nevertheless one created by those two (i know akitos view of street sekai kaito has improved and that kaito isn't a complete failgirl of a human man but also.)
-rui/kanade focus. maybe k helps rui learn about music composition for shows. idk i just know that trained set would be LEGENDARY.
-mizuki/rui middle school backstory there is no one without the other PLEASE SEGA GIVE US MORE LORE
-rui/ichika gardening set rui/ichika gardening set RUI/ICHIKA GARDENING SET
-each new class is legally required to get a fun little school event thank you :)
-is there a minori/mizuki event i think that needs to happen if it hasn't. shopping trip they bring shizuku
-wxs and mmj collab on a livestream freelancer solidarity
-toya/rui/mafuyu go to a library and nothing happens because i don't think any of the three of them could identify one of their own emotions if it was held in front of them in flashing neon letters

It's like people know what a fandom is in the sense that they have heard the word before and use it in their lexicon#But they get stumped by every single aspect of fandom culture#No; “multifandom” is not just liking multiple pieces of media. The term “rarepair” is not applicable to a ship that recieves fan art daily#Reposting old fan works made by other people just to make fun of them is a dick move. Yes; strange topics recieve rendered artwork sometime#No; being a hater does not make you cool or funny. Being negative on someone else's post is rude and annoying#Private quote retweets are often used by shy people and folks who want to use twitter without engaging with the community. -#- It is not a dislike button and you should stop treating it as such#Crying “when is the new season/episode/chapter/whatever” is not going to make it drop any faster#And the list goes on. It'd be one thing if it was just kids acting like this; but it's older people too#My only guess is folks on there are autistic about their interests; but don't want to appear that way to people outside their fandom#It's kinda like those movies where a nerd puts on a pair of sunglasses and approaches the cool clique then points at his friends-#-and says “haha imagine being like those losers. #yesterday i was wandering around the campus where ive resided these last 4 years bc ive banned myself from running until my leg heals#and i was thinking like. what am i gonna miss about this place when i leave? bc im always thinking abt the things i cant wait to get away#from. and its a real short list. ill miss the palm trees bc i never get sick of seeing thrm. theyre so weird#ill miss the yucca. again bc theyre so weird looking. ill miss the way u can see where all the ants r bc in the non human populated areas#there isnt grass everywhere bc desert. ill miss that there r so many birds of prey hanging around. and the road runners and all the lil#lizards. and maybe in an abstract way ill miss being so close to the boarder bc when u live near a boarder boarders feel like bullshit#like staring down the road into another country. idk theres something i like abt that. ill probably also miss being able to run outside#all year long bc in the winter during the day all u need is a light jacket lol. where im going it gets real cold 🥶#maybe ill even miss the constant blue skies. but idk ive always liked a cloudy sky better. makes me think of home haha#ill def miss how convenient my apartment rn is. the loft bed. the low cost. the 5min walk to campus. sigh. but thats pretty much it. i#dont think ill miss anything else. im not really close with anyone. my boss was the reason i came here and she left this school in January#so thats it i guess. i think i stayed a year too long and was not well for a lot of my time here but so it goes#just gotta move to the next place. just gotta pray pray pray that i find an apartment soon. i dont even wanna say anything abt it bc im#afraid to jinx things. even tho thats irrational. like. i just gotta somehow project how good a tenant i am. im so quiet u will never see#me and i never complain abt anything bc i have brain problems. sigh. i cant wait for this transition to b over#im so so so ready to be in a new place doing new things. but at least my energy is back. im back to high energy on little sleep lol#i dont understand how my body functions lmao. somehow when i get a normal amount of sleep it's a sign that i feel awful#unrelated

I've just realised something fun (very weird): so I've got aphantasia (no visual imagination), and I have a hard time recognising and remembering faces. I'm not face blind but I need a lot of context clues and stuff like that to be able to recognise someone for sure.
so anyway, that means I don't know what most people look like. in many cases I can't even remember if someone wears glasses, or other very obvious things like that. I could only describe the faces of my family members, friends, or even my husband (who I see more often than anyone else) very vaguely.
buuut. when I like a character, I tend to draw and/or paint them (usually a lot). which obviously involves looking at pictures of their face for a looong time. and not just looking, but analysing everything to figure out where it goes in relation to everything else. and just the motion of drawing makes it easier for it to actually get saved in my memory, I think.
sooo I just realised that, right now at least, I could probably describe every stupid little line in Eliot's face, I can recognise him if I see a picture of like, his ear or whatever. but if my brother got a haircut and different clothes and I wasn't expecting to see him, I probably wouldn't know who he was. 😬
#I mean to be fair... it fades pretty fast too. since there is no image of it in my head. I think the drawing aspect is really important.#otherwise it's just a list of features and that means nothing to me#anyway. but at the same time I do also have trouble recognising if someone is him if he looks different (like if he has a beard in a picture#that's always difficult lol)#but yeah idk that just felt really weird to think about haha#like I've been painting his mouth (it's just very pretty 😭) and it's like. yeah sure that all makes sense I know exactly what goes#where and it's. idk weirdly familiar in a way I don't really ever experience with people in real life (because it would be very odd if I#just stared at photos of my family for hours to somehow get them into my head lol)#oh and it's always very distressing when my husband shaves his beard completely because I straight up will not recognise him and it's very#confusing (like obviously I know it's him and everything else is the same but that's not his face?!)#ah yes this is my daily post of random thoughts I have while falling asleep#personal
