Hey all! due to personal life problems and having an unexpected ER visit this past holiday season, I'm opening a very limited amount of commissions for this winter (2023) so as not to overwhelm myself with work while I'm still trying to recover my health mentally and physically! I'm re-using my old lightly outdated sheets since these won't be open for very long in the first place. NOTE that I use p*y p*l for invoicing, but you do not need to have an account to pay the invoices from what I can tell! I also will not be taking any character design comms at this time!

At this time I'll be taking only TWO slots for any MAJOR commissions due to how difficult/time consuming they are (this means anything high detail, full colored, with a full BG)! Otherwise I will try to take on as many lesser jobs as I feel I can (i.e. flat colors, sketches, minis, etc.)

Prices in USD (darker color = base price, lighter color = added price for extra characters). More detail = higher cost.

Sketch: Bust is $10 (+$5 for added character), waist up is $15 (+$10 per added character), full body is $20 (+$15 per added character).

Line art: Bust is $15 (+$10 for added character), waist up is $25 (+$15 per added character), full body is $35 (+$25 per added character).

Flat color: Bust is $20 (+$15 for added character), waist up is $30 (+$20 per added character), full body is $40 (+$30 per added character).

Cell Shading (includes soft light): Bust is $30 (+$20 for added character), waist up is $40 (+$30 per added character), full body is $65 (+$45 per added character).

Full Color: Bust is $35 (+$25 for added character), waist up is $60 (+$45 per added character), full body is $85 (+$70 per added character).

Sheet 3: Backgrounds

Simple/transparent: Free.

Medium detail: $15-$30 (more detail = higher cost).

Rendered/Detailed: $40-$60+ (more detail = higher cost).

Sheet 4: Rules and Minis.

Minis/toon (also available in chibi style): Simple is $20 (+$15 for added simple mini), Complex is $30 (+$25 for added complex mini).

2. Payment is upfront unless discussed otherwise – no refunds for completed art, half refund for partially finished if cancelled (but please speak to me first)

3. Full references are required unless asking for design commissions – lack of reference will be priced as design commission otherwise

4. Respect me, have patience, don’t haggle prices!

5. More detail = higher price

6. Major/repeated changes will cost an additional charge

7. You can request only one commission at a time per person, but comm again after it’s done! (If you have questions, please ask!)

8. Will draw: Humans/humanoid, robots/cyborgs, complex armor, monsters/creatures, animals, furry/anthro, mild injury/blood/gore (feel free to ask on this!)

9. Will not draw: anything offensive/bigoted (racism, homophobia, transphobia, incest, pedophilia, etc.), NSFW, realistic/heavy gore, certain fandoms

10. I have a right to refuse any commissions!

The UK government makes the visa process as difficult as possible, and the only thing that makes it easier is money. This fundraiser has already raised a good sum, but I know from experience that every penny counts, so please donate or share if you can.

we've figured out how the life system works. if a red or yellow kills a player of a higher colour than them, then they get their life.

pearl “has died at least 1 time per session so far” pearlescentmoon is on her yellow life. she has two lives left.

scott "always sacrificing himself for his allies" smajor is on six.

the likelihood of scott killing himself for pearl again is statistically high.

and i think it will be a beautiful parallel. because this time she really will forgive him after all.

on a completely separate note; shizun luo binghe with a disciple shen yuan who fell into the abyss??? *thinks about LBH canonically stealing SQQ's corpse for 5 years* he'd hallucinate i think. like, like visual and audial hallucinations.

Keeps thinking he's seeing SQQ in the corner of his eyes, or wandering between the trees, amongst a group of disciples. Thinks he hears him calling for him, but its just the wind or another disciple.

Gets Xiu Ya reforged but patently fucking refuses to make a sword mound. Because his disciple Is Not Dead :))) There was No Body. He's Not Dead. And If You keep Insisting That He Is, He's Gonna Skewer You :). He's holding onto Xiu Ya so he can return his most favored disciple's sword when he returns. It's on his hip right next to Zheng Yang where it's supposed to be.

Also this motherfucker?? does not sleep btw. He has the image of SQQ, wide eyed and hysterical and standing at the mouth of the abyss burned into his fucking eyelids. Can't use the dreamscape to escape it either because he keeps trying to save him and either he does and it's an incredibly cruel trick to wake up to, or he doesn't and he gets his heart broken in several different pieces again.

There is no convincing this man that Shen Qingqiu is dead. Absolutely nothing at all. He is buried so deep in denial that moles would be jealous of how deep he is. He keeps making tea for two in the bamboo house only to remember that it's just him. SQQ's fans are hiding everywhere, little reminders of his presence. He goes to wake up SQQ on the mornings he sleeps in-- only to find the room empty.

IF THIS HAD BEEN WHERE SQQ WAS THE HALF-HEAVENLY DEMON INSTEAD IT WOULD'VE BEEN SO GREAT.#and by great i mean horribly angsty bc SQQ is NOT doing too hot and has. in very SY-like fashion. convinced himself that LBH will kill him #when he finds out he's a demon. so when it comes out i have this mental image of him lunging at LBH and LBH flinches back. but SQQ wraps hi #hands around the blade of Zheng Yang and yanks it up so the tip of the blade is digging into his chest where is heart is. LBH can't yank th #sword away without risking slicing into SQQ's hands. SQQ's hair has fallen out of its tail/bun and is now messily spilling down his #back and its NO helping the kinda deranged look he has going on. he's visibly shaking and his eyes keep flittering away and back at LBH's #face. SQQ is looking at the messages from the system warning him that he has to go into the abyss or punishment will occur. he's like.#rambling though. talking about how shizun doesn't *like* unclean things and there is nothing more unclean than a demon. like he is #INSISTING. LBH can't?? get a fucking word in. actually. SY isn't listening that much either anyways. too overwhelmed with the system and #the amount of stress he's under and his crumbling mental state and the innate and primal desire to live even when he's standing in front of #his own executioner. it all ends with him sitting on the ground at the lip of the abyss with his hair falling in his face. he looks so #unkempt and fallen apart and so distinctly *non-Shen Qingqiu* that LBH feels physically ill over it. tears are streaming down SQQ's face #and despite everything he is smiling. its not a nice smile. its a very frayed falling apart at the seams about to crack smile.#he tells shizun not to worry about staining his blade with this disciple's filthy blood because this disciple will take care of it himself.#and then he falls into the abyss before luo binghe can so much as grab him. the only reason LBh doesn't literally jump in after him is bc #he was numb with shock and the abyss was already closed before he could feel his legs again :]

I’ve been trying to read the ace novel to practice reading Japanese and I find it really funny how deuce describes ace like he’s the heartthrob surfer dude male lead in some 2010s Disney film

Can I ask what's your job when fostering kittens? And is it better or more complicated that you have your own cats?

Oh, I forgot to answer this earlier! (Just as a general apology to everyone--I get an anywhere from 5-20 asks a day and while I read all of them, I rarely have time to respond to most. Sorry! Still appreciated though!)

Cats, generally, can't be spayed or neutered until they're at least 3lb, which is typically around three months old. Most ethically run shelters and rescues will not adopt out any cat that isn't fixed, including kittens--so when kittens come in, they have to be raised until they're old enough to be spayed or neutered. Kittens are also pretty fragile, and need a bit of extra care and attention in those early months.

Fostering kittens does a number of good things! It gives the kittens a home-setting place to grow for those first three months, which means they'll acclimate to their adoptive homes better than a kitten that's only seen the inside of a shelter. Second, it frees up space in the shelter! When it's kitten season (aka any warm month), very nearly every shelter is overwhelmed with kittens and cats, and is desperate for space. Fostering opens up room in the shelter for cats who can be in and adopted out faster. Third, it socializes the kittens! A person or family fostering is able to pay more attention to a handful of kittens than even the most dedicated shelter staff or volunteers.

So my job is just to feed the kittens, clean up after them, and monitor their health as they grow. And play with them and handle them as much as I can! The shelter provides all the things they need in terms of food and meds, and I've made myself a firm rule that if a kitten needs more than can be done in a couple daily check-ins (like, say, bottle feeding) I can't foster that kitten. I usually am able to spend more time with them than that but I can't guarantee it, so generally I only take kittens who are feeding themselves, at least 4 weeks old, and generally doing well. I often take momma cats with litters, because then I have a built-in coparent.

The babies will gain about a pound per month, so I'm likely to have the current batch well into December. It's a ton of fun to have kittens around and I get to enjoy having them while also helping them succeed.
