I don't know where this idea came from(this might sound weird T^T) but I feel like kaeya thinks his s/o shaving his face is romantic, romantic more than dancing in the rain and bathing together. Romantic in a way where you have a sharp razor against his skin but you handle him with oh-so-much care so it doesn't hurt the way it traces along his skin. The way you're doing it so carefully lifting and turning his head now and then .it's so romantic in his eyes. even though kaeya acts like suave gentleman who can be relied on to save everyone's day, he's a lonely soul at heart. romantic intimacy isn't familiar to him. when he finally gets into a relationship with you, the smallest of things make his heart flutter. any type of physical touch results in him burying his face into your neck so that you won't be able to notice his flustered state. he doesn't fail to turn you into a shy mess too as a sweet revenge for the things you do to his poor heart.

a big fan of getting pampered and also pampering you. he's been so used to the sight of an empty house whenever he returns from work and now he just melts in your loving arms after an exhausting day. its very comforting to just relax as you work through the many layers of his clothing and lead him to your shared bed to fetch some oils so that you can massage the sore muscles on his back. has fallen asleep during many of these massage sessions. you can't blame him, the feeling of your hands running along his back to relieve the knots present there is incredibly soothing.

doing self care routines as a couple is very romantic to him. the first time he asked you to shave his face, he was joking around to make you laugh but was taken aback when you took him seriously and offered to do it for him. the way your hands gently cradled his face that night to move the razor carefully along his skin is still etched in his mind. now he just comes to you with a pout on his face when his stubble starts becoming noticeable because nothing else is more rewarding to him that his lovely partner focusing only on making him look prettier.

he adores how soft you're with him during the whole process. the way you gently hold his face to apply the shaving cream and then carefully move the razor along his face with calculated movements to not cause any injuries. he thinks you look very adorable when you stick out your tounge to concentrate and never takes his eyes off you as he gets to enjoy flustering you with his loving gaze. his hands never leave your hips and sometimes they glide under your shirt to squeeze your bare waist and pull you more closer to him.

when you finally clean him up to finish everything, he asks if he still looks handsome to joke around. you're answer is always a yes, accompanied with a peck on his cheek which makes a chuckle slip past his lips and he nuzzles his face into your shoulder to places a kiss on your collarbone, but it doesn't end there. his lips travel further up your neck to finally press against your own for a soft and loving kiss. he then tells you to take a seat because its now your turn to get thoroughly pampered by him.

Aussie question time: when I find out an idol is American/Canadian, their image in my mind completely changes because now it’s like “Oh I know exactly who you are, I grew up with your type around me” there are subtleties that I’m going to understand that others might not. So with all that said, I’ve been curious about what that’s like (if you experience it) w the skz aussies (throw in a lily if you’re feeling it -v-) 🎤

Hmmmm... Well I guess I'll start with Felix- I've said it before a bunch but the whole "Felix is a tiny uwuw baby sweet summerchild who is just such a baby" etc. etc. has made me laugh from the get go- because Yep! he is incredibly sensitive and sweet natured and kind and he cries a lot- 100% that is true. Dont think I'm saying it's not. But like. He also grew up in western sydney, he grew up in a area that if you google it one of the first suggestions is "is it safe" but then at the same time he went to private catholic school im pretty sure. and i saw pics from back then that he'd posted back in the day of cool little felix with his gold watch and his fade and all his little homeboys looking rowdy on the train- I know that kid and while that kid can also be sweet and sensitive, he's not incapable and hes not a baby. Good recent example was when he went on that Jewel box show with the gay dudes and people were acting like he was *so uncomfortable* and sooooo out of his element and so this and so that- theres gay dudes all over sydney, there's gay dudes all over australian media- the idea felix couldnt handle that was simply laughable to me- but it kinda shows how many outside perceptions of him still very much fall into that vaguely infantalizing thing. Like when he was the one who was happy to go up to adam levine and dj snake in that skz talker while the other boys were much more shy? that didnt shock me at all. felix went to korea as a whole teenager laregly against his parent wishes- he's actually quite an outgoing and brave guy. Outgoing guys can still be sweeties, though- one doesn't negate the other.

One other aspect of Felix i think a lot of fans just gloss over but is easily noticeable by me is that he can kindaaaaaa be ... a lil bitchy? like he's never ever mean or cruel dont get me wrong- but he has a slight bitchy streak, he rolls his eyes AND he's actually much more sarcastic than people bring up? Again- he does it a lot with Chan and that doesnt shock me- they both are aussie boys, Chan will get it and I think Felix can very much be himself with Chan, he doesn't necessarily feel the need to put up an extra air of like... Sweetie boy-ness? bc when he calls chan a cunt on live chan just laughs and goes OI!! so yuh the main thing with felix is while i do think hes a little sweet guy, ive never from the get go had a hard time seeing him outside of that box, too. Also maybe that's a lil bit aussie humour slipping under the radar here or there 🤔

Chan to me from the get go too was pretty much like. Prototypical overachieving aussie Good Boy. Like, i had a drafted post i never posted bc it was too niche- but it was essentially about how he speaks about sports and the like, and it just said "We get it. You went to zone carnival" which was the sporting event that the kids who got gold or 1st place were sent to. If you went to zone, you were the Successful kid. I think these days most fans perceive him as... a bit of a goofy guy? but I have gone through the archives and i have seen the comments from people talking about how chans such a bad boy- thats shit is so funny to me bc you can show me every iteration of chan and I'd never, ever think he's a bad boy. Like he wishes he was a bad boy, he kinda cosplays a bad boy- even him referencing swearing bc of his australianess and shit over the years makes me giggle a little bc i feel like felix def 100% swears all the time but he doesnt like Smirk about it too much? he doesnt really bring it up? things like that stand out, it to me feels very like Oh yeah I'm this naughty Aussie boy who swears hehe and then all the australians are like ? Girl we all do huh lmao

Otherwise, I dont have as much to say about chan as i do about felix, funnily. Like idk people might perceive differently to me, but nothing too far off? I will say that given Chan's success and the fact he was seemingly a very well achieving kid too (maybe not debuting for such a long time is part of this) he is WAY more humble than I'd expect. Like not to besmirch Australian men but a lot of them can be really loud and cocky, especially the famous successful ones (any sport star) it's almost encouraged to be like that if you're a dude (but only to a certain degree, anything beyond a certain point and you'll be roasted lol) So I have to give credit where it's due and say that Chan *Seemingly does have a very good nature and I appreciate that about him! Its probably why I like him so much bc he actually very much doesn't give off those vibes- he doesn't seem like that overly macho cocky bloke I know very well. So that makes him good fun for me- he's very successful and he's confident and yet he doesn't activate any of my bitch instincts- thats impressive! I don't know him, so I'll never know for sure of course, i feel like i need to make that disclaimer but still I do believe he has a good heart, and he tries so hard! and I appreciate that.

Lily is weirdly like Chan. like she's hilariously like chan tbh- I wonder how they really get along sometimes bc I feel like they might look at each other and be like Hm... we the same............ ? Lmao I will say though, lily is a bit out of pocket and half of that I believe is her personality but half of it is just.... I appreciate that in her! and I hope she never loses her little weird girl spark bc it does make her very dynamic! Her slightly gruff aussie girlness is very fun for me to see in the idolsphere bc it def feels out of place, but in a refreshing way...

Hi so to another blog, I sent in the request for gymteacher!patrick but now that I think about it, I feel like he’s one of those adults who secretly hates kids fgccjjjgffhhhj. It’s the whole vibe I got from whenever he was talking to Tashi and Lily was brought up like yeah he could say he feels awkward about the fact those two had a kid…….but I also just feel he hates kids 💀. It’s giving “fuck them kids, and fuck you too!”

ohhh i actually love the gymteacher!patrick hcs you sent @saintzweig. mars ate that up. if you haven’t read that, go do that!!!

i am inordinately fond of the idea that patrick doesn't like children because he can't wrap his mind around them as a concept. a tiny being who is still developing? continually learning about life? dependent on the people around them? it's overwhelming for him to process any of it, but it's all he can think about it in their presence. it also drums up the memories of his own childhood he'd rather forget. feelings he thought he long buried, but persist against his inclination.

so by proxy...i love the idea of elementary school teacher! patrick who took the job because it was his only choice. patrick who has been down on his luck and desperately needs to find a stable source of income, at least for the time being. teaching is not his first choice (and he's damn sure he is going to lose his mind), but it's the only job he could find that pays well. if he's going to be miserable anyway, he reasons he may as well be getting a paycheck out of it.

he goes in, does his job, and leaves. the other teachers are a bore, and he's to uneasy around the children to actually get close with them. ironically, his supposed indifference to the children makes them love him even more. he chocks it up to the childish curiosity of wanting to know more about the new, distant teacher, but the truth? they just like him. they like the way his language isn't filtered and how he mumbles under his breath. even the way he never breaks into that primordially passively assertive voices the other teachers have or never seems to have a solid plan. his behavior is new and captivating, but also makes him feel like an equal. in a way, patrick isn't a teacher they want to impress, but a friend they want to make. so while his goal was to avoid having any of these kids form an attachment to him, he's failed extraordinarily.

not to say he can avoid forming any attachments himself. i mean he sees these kids everyday, it's only natural to feel some sort of connection to them. it doesn't have to mean anything (at least this is what he tells himself). so what if he knows how to tie Lucy's shows the way she likes it when they come undone during soccer. or remembers to remind Aiden to take off his glasses before it's time for dodgeball. he's perceptive with details. basically has something in his head for every student, but wouldn't anyone notice (well again...what he tells himself). he's allowed to take some interest in their lives, learn about what they like or think. it's not a crime, nor does it have to mean anything. this is just a job and he still doesn't like children (he's started to repeat this to himself like a mantra).

the year goes on and his interest expands, much to his displeasure. they're growing on him, he can't deny it. he cares for all of his students, and while the concept of children still makes him uneasy, he's been able to push it down. focus on the joy the kids bring in the moment, rather than what their existence means for him. he enjoys being around all of them. especially the little, quiet kid who doesn't really talk much. always a little behind in gym, but really is sweet. and i mean just wait until he meets you...that kid's mom.

i've been reckoning a lot with HP as a bioessentialist narrative in light of jkr's views. obviously this is bad but the way gender is enforced textually is so fascinating to me BECAUSE of how warped it is (ex. how women in HP can either be Mothers or Evil). barty's entire characterization is wrapped in traditionally masculine themes of power & violence & domination. i would say his entire character in-text is just one long Assertion of Control .... but that's really compelling to me because it's ultimately fruitless?

for a character w/ these traits (allegedly manipulative, cruel, dominating, etc) he spends the majority of his time forced into some form of bondage or constraint, being passed around the hands of powerful men. his devotion to voldemort reads really submissively and almost erotically ("my master"). and then there's the whole thing where he quite literally switches places with his mother (taking on her Body), both occupying matching roles under his father's control?

he's literally a fucked up Girlboy Manwoman. it's so insane to me. even the repeated admonishment of "Master Barty, you bad boy!" from winky contains this double entendre where he's BOTH a violent, overpowering, domineering male figure & this emasculated, penetrated, porous boydaughterservantwife who is scolded like a child. he's jkr's ill-formed caricature of male violence forced to assume the role of Battered Woman over & over. i need to marry him so bad it makes me look stupid

the existing frat boys are recruiting the new year boys and as part of the initiation they get chased in the woods and the older years wear masks n shit and it’s fucked up in every sense, like they get their chase and it’s perverted and just so…barty if that makes sense

but it’s just an initiation for the boys, no one else at all so lily has to sneak in and she thinks she’s all slick hiding behind trees n stuff but then

barty creeps up behind her, an ache in the pit of his stomach. even in the night, he hates how he can recognise her by her stupid red hair. there’s an animalistic urge to pull on it, to yank her back into him, but instead he snakes his arm around her throat, his bicep pressing on her pulse. his other hand covers her mouth and he can feel the way her body shakes, how it squirms against him, and he tuts, shaking his head.

now obviously lily fights back, she hits her head back into his face and his lip’s bleeding and all but my barty’s huge, like this guy is built so he’s stronger than her and he’s had enough—he tightens his hold on her, pinning her against the tree and he’s pissed as fuck. he’s pressing his body against hers so she can’t move, also holding her by her throat cause he likes the feel of her panicking and how she gulps. he’s grinning like a madman, wiping the blood off his lip with his thumb and he’s all like “you can’t come and not play the game, doll.” and she’s crying, shaking her head and she’s begging him to stop but but

he lifts a leg up, pushing his knee on her stomach and he begins to undo his belt with one hand, the other stroking the side of her face. it’d be romantic in any other situation if not for the fact that lily thinks she’s well and truly going to die. he spits on the ground to the side of them, his thick cock pulsing at the sight of her tears. he relishes in the view, at her lips quivering and the way she still begs him to stop. it’s cute, he thinks.

and then at some other point

and at some point she’s running again, after kicking him in the groin obviously and he’s chasing after her, he’s in love with the chase, getting so high off it and then he’s tackling her to the ground, mud over the both of them. he’s on top of her, gripping her by both her dimples and pushing her face down into the ground

“i know the shit you say about me, what you write about me in that—in that little paper of yours.” he’s breathing heavily, pulling the zipper down on his jeans as he mounts over her. “i should kill you right now,” he whispers heavily against her ear. “but that's not what you want, is it? you want me to fuck you, right here on the dirty fucking ground, don’t you?” he smiles, demented. and he moves the gun down to her mouth. "just a dirty little whore that wants to get filled with dick, right?"

After spending years being rejected at every turn, James isn’t sure he’ll ever be loved the way he craves. Especially when his current crush is none other than cold and distant Regulus Black. He told Sirius about his crush as soon as he was aware that it wasn’t going away. He cried to Sirius saying that he knows that Regulus would never accept him for his all in attitude and his love for PDA. Sirius at first warned James that Regulus would never go against his parents for anyone, not even if he did feel the same for James. But as Sirius watched James sulk about his crush, he softened and told James stories of Regulus from their childhood, which only made James’s crush worse, the knowledge that Regulus used to read sickly sweet romance books when their parents weren’t looking, telling Sirius with wide eyes that one day he’d have a love that moved the stars like in the books.

However, James didn’t just develop this crush out of nowhere. Sometimes when James gets up early in the morning to get some quidditch practice in, Regulus was already there and they would spend those mornings practicing together, Regulus’s snark working better to wake him up than the cold air flowing around them. Regulus’s appearance on the field was never consistent and whenever James asked about it Regulus just leaves with a slight flush to practice his seeker skills on the other side of the field before leaving way earlier than he would have, had James not asked. 

James tried not to flirt, he didn’t want to get his heart broken but every time Regulus looked at him with that half smile smirk, James’s heart only grew in size. He tried desperately to not let his heart out, to not scare Regulus away. But the first time James accidentally flirted, Regulus didn’t even hesitate to tease him, not in the cruel way that he had expected but in a playful way. For a moment James thought that maybe that was Regulus flirting back. Slowly James became less guarded and started accidentally flirting with Regulus, but it always ended the same, playful teases and joking degeneration. 

Eventually it even spread to off the quidditch pitch, they’d flirt? In the hallways, in the astronomy tower, in the great hall, James couldn’t help but find Regulus everywhere, their conversations didn't even change tone in front of people. Sirius looked surprised every time Regulus would tease James, Remus would mutter about public indecency, Peter would laugh at how flushed James got every time Regulus responds with a cutting remark, Lily would joke about speaking at their wedding after Regulus leaves. James told them repeatedly that nothing was going to happen and that Regulus couldn’t possibly like him the way James does for him, this was only received with a disbelieving look from all of them. 

One morning it all changed. James was too tired to keep himself in check and his flirting came out unfiltered, fully James. Regulus went silent, James who hadn’t been looking at Regulus had frozen, terrified to look at Regulus and face the inevitable rejection. But when James did look, unable to help himself, all he saw was a deep red flush and a look of wonder on Regulus’s face. It caused James to fly towards Regulus, watching his face closely as Regulus slowly regained control. 

“Potter, you just- i thought it was all a game for you, I thought you were just being playful” Regulus spoke, voice full of shock, eyes full of hope. 

“I tried not to flirt with you, I thought you’d never let me, but I couldn't help myself, you're just so… you're just so you” James admitted, eyes drifting to the side awkwardly. He hears Regulus snort and feels Regulus's broom brush against his as he moves closer to James. 

“why would you even think I wouldn't let you flirt with me.” Regulus asks softly, hand moving up to James’s cheek to make James face towards him.

“Because I'm too much, I didn't want to ruin our mornings with my overbearing feelings” James mumbled, not wanting Regulus to know how deeply he already feels for him, but not having any other way to explain.

Regulus sighs, looking at James like he’s an idiot, “James, i hate waking up before 9am, surely Sirius has told you this. Do you think I would willingly wake up at FIVE in the morning to fly around aimlessly if I didn’t also have ‘overbearing’ feelings and just wanted to spend some time with you.” 

“But-” 

Regulus interrupts, his fingers on James’s face tightening, pulling his face closer to his. “James, you're not too much, I want you to be you. No holding yourself back. Be all in, be overbearing, I want you, not some held back version where you pretend to not be as insane as you are.”

“...oh..., Reg I- fuck, you're so amazing” James breathed out, finally letting his barriers drop.

“I know” he says, his open expression being replaced by his usual smirk, “so what do you say Potter, are you finally going to be yourself or do I need to keep telling you what literally everyone other than you seems to already know.”

When James told Sirius what happened and that they were together now, Sirius only gaped 

“James you didn’t tell me he got up to join your morning practices, Regulus tried to kill me once for daring to talk to him before 8am, you've been talking to him before 6???? And he hasn't killed you???? Hes in love with you what the fuck”

i personally think that he'd have something snow related as your contact name — like 'snowflake' , 'snowdrop' etc... he also seems like the guy to use names like 'firefly' , 'my lily' (hehe) or just 'my [name]' . he's just romantic like that. never wastes an opportunity to tease you about the way you get flustered when you see those names saved as your contact.

your 'creative' contact names pulls a rare but genuine laugh out of him and he'd (affectionately) joke about how cheesy you get when it comes to him. but what he wont tell you is how loved he felt when he saw it. the fact that you're comfortable with him and he's getting to do all that cringey couple stuff (that everyone pretends to hate but wants deep down) hits him at full force. now it's his turn to get flustered and he hopes that he gets the courage to confess this to you one day.

he genuinely forgets whatever that is happening around him when he gets a text alert with your nickname attached to it. when his peers mention how head over heels he's for you because of the way he won't stop smiling at his phone, he laughs with them like the lovesick fool he is. you're no better either, giggling like a maniac whenever you receive a notification from a certain contact named 'babygirl' .

can you share any jily headcanons you have for dates

ok so if you couldn’t tell I have never been on a date !!! But I hope these are good !!

Lily would bring flowers on every date. She loves the flowers so she would have some extra at her house plus she feels like it’s a nice gesture even if it’s a small flower bouquet. 

James always picked the place they went, and once he decided to take them go-karting and they had so much fun and Lily beat his ass because she was too good

On their first date they kissed at the end and they were so cutesy together. Everybody was surprised that Lily actually liked the date, and surprised that  James didn’t fuck it all up 

James was always like yk very gentlemanly and picked Lily up all the time. But one day Lily picked James up with her super hot car and I think James fell in love. 

Lily played the guitar and James played the drums so one day they spent a whole day trying to play a song together as date. 

They both loved walking so they had a lot of dates were they ate somewhere and then walked for like hours and hours just talking 

Their third date was at this cute restaurant near the beach that James had picked, and they were so cute and cute and that’s when Lily fell in love.

How have any other living relatives to Saint vanilla (clotted cream, elder custard, etc) reacted when they first discovered the cult of his?

I promise this is a serious question. I’m very worried and I needed to ask you this. If Ao3 potentially has the risk of being banned in my country, where else can I read your fics?

I understand your worry,, as of right now, my fics are only available on Ao3 but im willing to cross-publish on another reliable site if there is one that’s just as creator-friendly. If anyone knows of any suitable alternative, please drop them below and I’ll consider my chances
