the slits in his eyes??? like all of the beasts have??? I remember everyone theorising that he was part-dragon or something because of this scene, but it was most likely him nearly becoming a beast.

Much like mystic flour, he briefly gave into the temptation of apathy. 🍎

It also ties in with his own virtue of resolution. He didn't care who he needed to hurt in order to resolve this problem, which twists how he views his own principles, but no one cares abt that part except me.

I always hear people on the mdzs fandom talking about how Jiang yanli’s weapon is listed as “soup” at the end but nobody talks about some of the other funny ones. “Long lectures and Closed book exams” are listed for lan qiren. “Hooves, teeth and raw fury” are listed for little apple. “Claws, jaws and the only brain in the room (usually)” is listed for fairy!!!
