Namekians have white fingernails in the anime but since they started to be more accurate to the manga's color in Super Hero, I hc Piccolo got his nails painted black there (maybe Pan's idea and got Gohan to do it too). Just wanted another reason to draw Piccolo and Gohan's family :^)c

daima ep 1 spoiler thoughts

So they're tying back the Namekians to actually being demons??? So, "Demon" King Piccolo wasn't him just exaggerating and stroking his ego? jdjdhf

I'm really excited that they're expanding more Namekian lore! I've always thought they were the most intriguing race in DB that needed more backstory ever since the introduction of the Nameless Namekian, and y'know what with them being able to create the freakin DRAGON BALLS. How and WHY did they create them in the first place? Why did they travelled (escaped?) outside the demon realm? They have always had potential in the narrative and it is overdued how their story has not expanded more before this.

If they're going to explain more Namekian stuff in Daima, that means Piccolo gets to have an important role! (And more screentime 😏). I shouldn't get my hopes up so much since this IS Dragon Ball after all. I just wanna see more Piccolo man.

Sorry I wanna gush about Daima, I'm so excited to watch it. The animation looks so much better than Super (God I hope it stays that way) and I'm looking forward to the adventure plot akin to OG DB. It's gonna be the first new DB content that I watch weekly with everyone across the world!
