Can’t Say It.

Aizawa x Reader

Word Count: 3,541

A/N: Fluff, dragged out but it’s a happy ending. One shot. Age difference (9 years) Reader is 22 while Aizawa is 31. Mentions of alcohol.

Reader is a young teacher at UA who has a unique relationship with Pro Hero and coworker Eraserhead. After a while of getting to know each other, will they realize their feelings? OR will they let self doubt get in the way.

Quirk: Analysis

-(Y/N) is able to instantly analyze a person and their abilities after observing them, familiarizing themselves with their qurik. This also includes evaluating/predicting situations with higher than average accuracy. With this ability, she can use this information with or against a subject. She can keep up to three peoples' worth of information perfectly memorized at a time. Anymore, her analysis starts to create more errors and her accuracy decreases.

Ever since (y/n) started working at UA, everyone knew that Aizawa’s single streak was in danger.

While the scruff chined 1-A homeroom teacher taught his bustling young hero course, she supported the admin staff! Specifically falling under processing and evaluating every student's quirk and how to help progress their potential. This means every homeroom teacher ran their notes and evaluations about their students through her every quarter, possibly more depending on how active and intense their training has been. She and her small team are a key to the school’s successful hero and support course. No matter how a quirk was used, they would find the best way to help them improve it.

Classroom 1-A currently holds the record for most updates and changes to analysis (surprise). With an increase in updates, (y/n) has spent more sleepless nights making sure her work was perfect than she originally thought she was going to. Not that she minded of course! She was young, and found that it helped drive her to improve her passions and skill. Besides her administrative work, she also works as a substitute teacher for English, and Hero Strategy lessons twice a semester. If needed she is more than happy to help with summer lessons.

Aizawa has had more than his fair share of interaction with the young lady, more than others if one was keeping track. After the hero noticed (y/n)’s sleepless nights because of his students, he offered to stay and bring her coffee. When (y/n) noticed extra heavy bags under his eyes, there would be a nicely wrapped lunch on his desk with a cute thank you note in return.

Over time a unique relationship developed between the two that anyone looking in could clearly see. Including the students.

“Mr Aizawa! Your lady friend left ya another lunch, you’re so LUCKY.” Denki and Mineta whined without hesitation.

“Why don’t we get cute lunches made by cute girls?”

“Shut up! That’s Ms. (L/n) you’re talking about, not some side chick you dumbos. I think it’s really sweet.” Mina cooed alongside some of the other girls.

Their homeroom teacher could only sigh, carefully tucking away the lunch box into his work desk as he partially ignored their scattered comments. “Lucky or not, you all should have your notes out and study. Your test scores from last week clearly tell me I haven’t given enough in class work time. Do I have to cut down on our outside training hours?” The instant shuffling of paper and pencils brought a small smirk to his face. Nothing got his students off his back faster than less training hours. As he took attendance and organized his schedule, the small peeks at the lunch box reminded him about his last encounter with his….coworker.

“Midoriya is such a strange boy you know? I’m surprised his quirk doesn't instantly tear his body apart every time he uses it. I’m glad he’s getting a handle on it, I hated seeing him hurt himself so often.” You were sat cross legged in your office chair, typing away at your laptop underneath a bright desk lamp.

“I agree, he needs to learn how to use his body with his quirk.”

“Exactly!- Well, it looks like his rate of injuries compared to training has decreased. Based off of Recovery Girls records, his quirk usage deteriorated his arm muscle effectiveness. This means he’s got to either limit his usage on his arms, or learn how to use the rest of his body to compensate.” Rubbing your eyes shifted your reading glasses off of your face, exposing the bags that were starting to grow underneath them.

“You shouldn’t be getting such heavy bags under your eyes like that, you’re too young for those (L/n).” He always notices them, no matter how well hidden.

“Ya, okay GRAMPS. You’re not that much older than me and YOUR eyes are just as bad, if not worse. And call me (y/n), we’re friends aren't we?”

Rolling his eyes, Aizawa gets up with a huff to pour some coffee from the nearby coffee pot. “Midoriya is your last report tonight right? Go home, you’ve got Hero Strategy classes tomorrow.” as if on cue, he hands you the cup of warm coffee while you reach out for it with a quiet “Thank you”.

The way you hold the cup in your hands and let the warm steam brush against your face leaves him staring at you with a soft look.

“I guess I could leave a little earlier than I thought....” blowing cool air onto the coffee, you slowly take a sip of the warm beverage. Every time you see that look on his face, you can’t help but wonder what he’s feeling.

After a short while, you both clean up and close the office up. It’s 1 AM and both of you are more than ready to get at least a few hours of sleep in. Like usual, he walks you halfway to your home before bidding his own goodbye.

“Goodnight (L/n).” As Aizawa turns to walk away, he feels a small tug at his sleeve.

“I uh-” Turning to look around, he sees you with pinker cheeks underneath a streetlight. How do you always look so...nice? No matter the light you always look nice.

You slowly slid your hand down his arm to gently hold onto his hand. It was so soft, not just the hold but your skin. You couldn't even look at him but your voice was clear as day.

“Thank you, for staying with me. I know how tired you must be too….so I feel honored that you decide to spend your important time with me- er, to help me. You’re a great teacher and man Aizawa. Good night.” Just as quick as the moment had started, your touch was gone and you made your way home.

He was alone, yet he could still feel your touch on his skin. Aizawa stood there for minutes, looking at his hand in awe and strange curiosity. His coworkers and friends told him multiple times, “You two aren’t a thing?”, “It’s obvious that you fancy her Shouta.”,

“She has to feel the same, you don’t see how she looks at you when you aren’t paying attention.”

The school bell alerting the start of their first class was what pulled Aizawa out of his mind, looking up to see (y/n) walk into the class with your information tablet. ‘Ah, right. Hero Strategy.’ “Good Morning class! Great to see you all again.” She was chipper as always, her makeup easily covering her endeavors from the night before. The young teacher wore simple black tights with her training sweat jacket, everyone murmured in excitement because this meant that there would be out of class training and demonstrations Rubbing his exhaustion from his face, the black haired male stands up to go stand near (y/n). “You all have ten minuets to change and get to the field. Any longer and you’ll be stuck in cleaning duty for the week.”

Iida is quick to stand and grab his fellow classmates attention. “Quickly but in order, please gather your things and head to the gym! No RUNNING!” As valiant as his efforts were, everyone rushed out of the class in fear of being put into the cleaning crew while it was out of their turn.

The small smile he saw on your face was sobering, calmly following behind you as you made your way to the gym.

Usually, Aizawa would sneak into his sleeping back and nap during other teachers' lessons. These ones were different for him. He would sit off to the side and observe how you worked with the kids.

While some students could take simple suggestions and immediately apply them, others needed physical examples. You were more than happy to adapt to all their needs as they all trained with their new plans and teachers notes. While Tokoyami nodded and talked with Dark Shadow about your observations, Uraraka carefully mimicked your moves as you slowly countered her attacks explaining how they affected her opponent's momentum even more.

He knew you were a natural when it came to children and hero work. The obvious proof was right in front of him. That and he was nine years older than you, yet you both were doing almost the exact same job. That's where everything starts to blur for him.

After a quick practice round with Shoji, a rundown with Bakugo about his quirk usage along with Midoriya and the rest of the class, their first class of the day was over.

The rest of the day went normal, and (Y/n) left to finish the rest of her lessons while Aizawa did the same.

After a long week, you were more than happy to have the weekend to yourself, or so you thought.

Incoming Call: Keigo <(‘v’)>

“Keigo?”

“Hey tiny, sorry to bother but I felt like I should call in and see how you were doing.”

“I’m fine, just getting ready to watch some movies and order take in. Had a long week. You?”

“Gonna be heading out to an event soon! Glad to hear you're doing good. Any luck with your crush on the office grandpa?”

You roll your eyes as you wiggle yourself into more blankets, clicking through the different documentaries you could find on YouTube.

“I don’t have a crush on Aizawa, and even IF I did he is NOT a grandpa. He would probably want someone closer to his age anyway. The whole life experience gap and everything.”

“Yeah okay, whatever. Don't get mad at me when you realize I’m right and you're missing out on not being single anymore.”

“You’ll be the first person I call when you’re actually right. ” “Ouch-”

“Pfft, talk to you later Kei. I have an hour long video about the origin of heroes and it’s calling my name.”

“Bye bye!”

No matter how relaxed you were or how interesting the documentary was, you couldn't get you know who out of your mind. Could you have a crush on Aizawa Shouta? Silver Fox hero of the night? Grumpy man who likes taking naps in the middle of the day? You couldn’t lie, he was attractive and his personality was more than pleasant to you at least. It always felt like something was there between you two..between late night talks and having lunch together sometimes. It felt like there was a connection, and the only thing keeping you two from connecting was a waterfall of hesitation and doubt.

“Whatever…”

“WoooOO! Staff Party, this is gonna be a blast Listeners! Present Mic here to keep your evening thrilling with an amazing music selection!”

Upbeat music with minimal words played through the old speakers of a rented out ballroom. It was the end of the first semester staff party, everyone was dressed semi formal with their hair done nicely and makeup to match. The decorations were nice, and tables were laid out with food, drinks and chairs to relax and chat.

Aizawa was one of the first to show up since he and Yamada came together like usual. Although he socialized with other teachers as they passed by, he stayed closer to the walls and talked with Kayama most of the time. He was dressed fairly well, a simple fitted dark g suit coat with normal slacks. The usually wild and wavy mess of locks was neatly tied back into a very clean half knot that showed off his handsome face.

“No date Shouta? I was sure that pretty young thing would be with you tonight. (L/n) Right, she’s such a lovely girl.” Kayama’s hair was curled beautifully around her, a long fitted dress with a deep V cut showing off her lovely charm. Aizawa only rolled his eyes, sipping on his Champaign class to avoid talking even if it was just for a second more.

“It would make more sense for her to come in with someone closer to her age or with a friend. She is the youngest person on staff you know.”

“Age this age that blah blah BLAH. I know love when I see it-”

“Not love, this isn’t some romance film Nemuri.”

With a small and understanding smile, Nemuri reaches out to gently pat her dear friend's shoulder. “Someday, you’re going to realize that the things that are holding you back are nothing but a reflection of your own worries. I know you’ll figure it out. You both will. Now try to have fun-” Her attention was stolen away for a moment, a glint of excitement in her eyes clear as day. “If you’re worried about how she feels and how she’s doing, why don't you go show her around and make sure she feels welcomed?”

Turning around, the first thing Aizawa see’s is you. A cheesy thing to say, but he almost feels his heart skip a bit.

You wore a black turtleneck underneath a midnight blue spaghetti strap dress that fit you just right. Knitted knee high socks and stylish black heel boots finished off your look along with a beautiful pearl pendant necklace. Your hair looked soft and styled in a way he had never seen it before. Your eyes were done up just enough in a way that made them shine even more than they usually do.

He’s trapped, and he is slowly realizing that he never wants to be set free.

When your eyes scan the room for anything familiar, they finally land on a set of eyes that are looking right back at you. You have to stop yourself from visibly gasping, why did his eyes feel so intense? What was he thinking as he made his way across the room to you.

Like Moses and the sea, everyone carefully parted to let you both have your moment. They all knew the chemistry between you too, and were more than happy to leave you alone as they carried on with their conversations and laughter.

“You look beautiful.” His voice was low, and held a sense of hesitant tenderness even he was unsure of. You knew he meant it.

“And you look very handsome, you even shaved for the party.” With a small laugh you gently ran the back of your fingers across his shaved cheek. This wasn't new, you had done this exact touch multiple times before when you made fun of his stubble yet- it felt more intimate than it ever had before. Aizawa knew he didn't mind it.

Carefully sliding his hand into yours, he lifts it up to press a soft and long kiss to your knuckles. “It is a special occasion. Would you like to join me tonight?” He was never a man who cushioned his words, straight to the point and expressing just how he felt was never an issue. You were different.

Accepting his offer, you move to accept his offered arm. The night starts slow as you both walk around and chat with other faculty members you work with. With Aizawas help you were confident that you were able to make some new friends, maybe going to this party wasn't so bad after all.

Everything else almost felt like a breeze. Laughs were shared, drinks were drank- and barriers were being broken down. You and Aizawa found yourselves slowly standing closer and closer together, close enough to where your fingers would brush against each other when one of you moved. All of Pro Hero Eraserhead’s friends could only watch with warm and excited smiles for him.

Like always, nights must always come to an end.

While some people left to retire for the night, others stayed longer to help clean or help more than drunk coworkers make it home safe. “I’m helping Nemuri make it home Sho! You gonna be okay making it back tonight?” Yamada had Nemuri balancing into his side, laughing as she drunkenly waved some of the others goodbye. “Oh! You all can head back home together if you’d like. I’m just helping clean a bit before I head back home.” you politely cut into their little chat, holding a medium sized black trash bag in your hands.

Taking a moment, Aizawa starts to shrug off his coat as he takes the garbage away from you. “I’ll stay behind to help clean. If you’re alright with it I can walk you home.” with wide eyes, the younger teacher could only nod before she turned away to hide her reddening cheeks to pick up more trash and plates.

“No worries, now get em TIGEr. RaaArW-” As Kayama tried to cheer her friend on, Yamada tugged her away with an amused laugh of his own.

Not even an hour later, everyone was out and the sky was as dark and it could be. The only stars you could see were the large ones as the light pollution shrouded out the smaller and weaker stars.

This time around, Aizawa's coat was wrapped around (y/n) shoulders, her head resting on him as they linked arms on the walk back to her house. Instead of splitting off halfway, he walks her all the way up to her front door. It was silent for a moment, the events from tonight silently washing over them.

“Thank you Aizawa, this...was a really nice night. I don't think it would have been as enjoyable as it was without you.” (y/n) broke the silence, turning to face and look up at the man she knew she would never look at the same again. Rubbing his mouth in thought, his eyes flicker between the young woman standing in front of him and the road.

“I want to thank you as well. I-.” He paused for a moment.

“I would like to kiss you, but I understand if you wouldn't. I think after tonight you know what my feelings are for you. I didn't even know about them fully until tonight. Kayama- Midnight was right. I was letting my worries hold me back when I should have been forward like I always am-”

Time freezes when he feels your hands pull down his face, your lips eagerly pressing into a kiss with such raw love and desperation. Instantly his arms move around to gently lift you up into him. One minute, two..three. You both only break apart for air and your warm breaths mingle against each other. “I’ve wanted to do that for a while now I think. My friend was right haha...maybe I do have a crush on you. I was just worried because I had no idea if you would even be interested in a relationship, let alone with someone as...young as me. I feel like a high schooler again haha.”

The fact that you were able to laugh the way you did and still hold him in your arms brought flutters to his chest. He knew now that he more than just saw you as a coworker or a close friend. He wants to be more. “I know what you mean. Who would want to be with someone as old as me? I would never want to make you feel like I was holding you back.” He would never admit it, but he felt like a young adult experiencing love for the first time...it was a bit embarrassing (in a good way.)

“You make me feel so helpless sometimes you know that?” pulling his head down again, (y/n) presses another soft kiss to Aizawa’s forehead. “What am I gonna do with you Aizawa?”

“Shouta.”

“Huh?”

“Shouta, call me Shouta if you want.” Thankful that it was dark out, he could feel himself heat up at the intimate suggestion.

With the way your eyes sparkled while you said his name, he knew he was hooked. There is no going back. “What am I gonna do with you, Shouta?”

“You’ll figure it out eventually. I’ll help you along the way as long as you’ll help me too.” The shared silence was an unbroken promise to do the best you both can.

After sharing your final kiss good night, you watch Shouta walk down the street and out of view before returning into the comfort of your home. The jacket around your shoulders smelt strongly of the stoic man you now called yours. Enjoying the warmth and comfort his coat brought you, kicking off your boots you hop over your couch and settle into a comfortable position.

Calling: Keigo <(‘V’)>

“WHY are you calling me at….2 in the MORNING. You gave me a damn heart attack-”

“You were right.” your voice was soft and held no regrets.

“Right? Right about what?”

“You were right, I did have feelings for Shouta. I said you would be the first person to call if you were right. And well, you were right.” The next hour was spent catching your best friend up on everything that happened tonight.

On the other side of the story, Aizawa finally made it home and had no problem finding sleep that night. He felt as ease knowing that things weren't going to turn out as bad as he thought it originally was going to be.

He can't say it, not yet.

But he is in love.

And so are you.

Saving Her (Ojiro Mashirao x Wolf!Reader)

Part 12: The day for the Provisional Licensing Exam has arrived!! You attend to spectate along with your dad, when he runs into an old colleague of his. Aizawa gets reassured that he’s not a terrible father. Then, an unknown threat turns into an unexpected surprise (feat Todoroki) when a tuff of grey fur shows up. Class 1-A is chaotic and it’s even worse when you’re in the mix.

Before you knew it, the day arrived for Class 1-A to take the provisional licensing exam.

“Stop shoving me!!” You shouted loudly, catching the attention of everyone else who was in the vicinity.

“Hah?! I’m not fucking touching you!!!” Bakugou yelled, his palms lighting up in aggravation and you glowered at him.

“There’s nowhere for me to sit!!” You protested, huffing and crossing your arms over your chest.

“Fucking deal with it, dumbass!!” He screamed at you and you covered your ears.

Aizawa glared at him, eyes flashing red once in warning and reprimanded for his language and crude behavior towards you, Bakugou grumbled as he sank back in his seat.

Your eyes scanned for another place to sit aboard the cramped bus. Almost every inch of space left no room for you and shrugging your shoulders, you were about to tough it out on the floor near Kirishima’s feet when a throat cleared softly.

“Y/N,” Ojiro called, his voice almost lost as the rest of the class chattered in a mixture of nervousness and excitement. “Here.”

Your ears perked up as he scooted to the side, making room for you even though now he was pressed flat against the window of the bus. Tail flicking, you paused upon approach, hesitating.

“What’s wrong?” Ojiro asked, concern seeping into his tone as you halted in front of him. The railing blocked most from seeing the two of you interact clearly, since Ashido was currently engaging the other girls in a game to take their minds off of the pressure of the exam and your tail fluffed up.

He frowned, wondering if he did something that made you uncomfortable.

Your brow furrowed and your nose wrinkled as your lips formed into a small pout. “There’s not enough room…”

Despite your dejected tone, Ojiro’s shoulders slumped in relief and he smiled reassuringly, patting the spot beside him. Tokoyami had moved to sit next to Shoji in order to free up the space. It would be a squeeze but he didn’t want you to sit on the floor where you could get hit by Kaminari’s unpredictable feet that flew up when he got startled by something or shocked by Jirou’s earphone jack.

Padding forward, you jolted, eyes shooting open and a squeak tumbling from your lips as the bus went over a pothole in the road, losing your balance.

You floundered for a second before a muscular tail slammed into your stomach to prevent you from hitting your head in time, lifting you up and carrying you the rest of the way over to him.

Ojiro was quick to examine you, double-checking to make sure you were really okay after your ears warmed and your heart skipped a beat at his proximity. Just like you thought, his leg was pressed right up against yours in the corner of the back of the bus where the two of you sat in a chair that was only meant to hold one.

“You’re too clumsy, Y/N.” Ojiro breathed endearingly, patting your head and you pushed against his hand, pouting up at him when he pulled away.

You took no offense to his words, simply begging for more pets and his chest shook with laughter before he obliged you.

The two of you were locked in your own little world, the knowing look Shoji and Tokoyami exchanging passing by unnoticed as you enticed Ojiro in a spontaneous game of seeing how many times you could get Bakugou to explode before you reached the exam arena.

It shouldn’t have been as easy as it was the whole ride there. You lost count around fifty times in half an hour because you were laughing so hard you couldn't breathe and Kirishima held Bakugou back as he raged at you.

Aizawa rolled his eyes at the racket caused by his rowdy students. He was wrong to think you had a calming presence. If anything, it was the exact opposite.

But you had potential, he was not denying that fact. And you had gotten strong. You were going to be a great hero one day, he was sure of it.

You were the first one off the bus when it pulled up to where the test would be administered. Since you were still behind, you couldn't take it this time around but Aizawa had gotten special permission for you to watch.

You had a feeling that Principal Nezu also had a hand in that. The chimera had made sure you had everything you needed in order to succeed at his school and he probably thought that this would be an enlightening experience for you.

You liked to think of him as the uncle you've never had.

The licensing exam changed every time it came around so you weren't cheating by any means. By the time you were going to take yours, hopefully six months later, you would be in the same ring and on the same level as the other students taking it.

Before you could sprint off to who knows where to explore, a hand gripped your arm and hauled you backwards. You pouted as you faced your dad, who was shaking his head at you.

"Y/N..." He warned and your ears drooped, eyes watering.

Aizawa sighed, looking away. No one was a match for your puppy dog eyes.

"Don't run off." He scolded lightly, resting a hand on top of your head to block his view of those impossibly cute eyes but it did no good.

You just tilted your head innocently and stared up at him hopefully, tail wagging behind you.

Rubbing the back of his neck, he corrected himself as he caved into you. "Just don't go too far, alright?"

You nodded eagerly before racing off and he turned to his students who filed out of the bus, giving them last-minute instructions on what to expect once they got in there. They were all panicking.

Mineta thought he didn't have what it takes to obtain his license, Ashido was clinging to Yaoyorozu, Asui was hanging onto Kaminari who was playing with Ojiro's tail and the rest of the class remained indifferent except for unique ticks that gave away their stress.

Iida's vibrating in place, Tokoyami twitching every so often, Koda and Shoji hiding in the back, Aoyama's smile not as bright as usual, he could tell that they were all nervous.

Only Todoroki appeared to be completely unaffected.

Aizawa tried to keep an eye on you but you disappeared from his sight in a flash and he glowered, wanting to find you but he had a responsibility right now.

Continuing with his brief answers to Iida's endless questions as the class rep fired them one after another, he waved a hand at his students to prevent any more and was going to leave them to get changed into their costumes when he heard his name being called.

"Eraser!! Eraser, is that you?!"

He flinched. He knew that voice.

A woman with mint-green hair in her hero costume waved at him enthusiastically. "It's been so long!!"

Shakily, Aizawa turned around and saw the pro-hero known for making villains laugh with her Outburst Quirk, Ms. Joke. An old friend, if he could call her that. No, a colleague seemed more accurate.

Almost as annoying as Yamada.

He buried his face further into his capture weapon as she approached him. Maybe she would go away if he ignored her long enough.

Fukukado flicked a finger back and forth between them and Class 1-A watched in confusion at the stranger’s sudden appearance. "Let's get married."

"No thanks." Aizawa retorted dryly.

Ashido was already hooked on this love story, her eyes turning into hearts at such a blatant rejection from her homeroom teacher, already forgetting the impending licensing exam.

Fukukado laughed heartily, doubling over and clutching her stomach. "No thanks?! Good one!!"

Shaking his head, Aizawa stared at her impassively, done with this conversation before it even started. "As always, you've got an unamusing sense of humor, Joke."

"If you married me, we could start a family filled with unbearable laughter and joy." She said with a cheeky smile.

"A family like that can't possibly be happy." Aizawa deadpanned.

She burst out laughing again and Asui smiled, letting go of Kaminari as her nerves calmed down with the ease that her teacher interacted with this woman even though appearing like he was irritated.

"You guys seem pretty close..." The frog girl commented nonchalantly.

"Huh?" You tilted your head, gazing up at the adults curiously as you came wandering back to their ranks, finding your way to your dad's side. "Dad, I didn't know you were dating someone."

"I'm not!!" He shouted at you, bonking you on the head.

You cried out, rubbing the sore spot forming and pouted. "That hurt!!"

He sighed, then ruffled your hair somewhat apologetically.

"Sorry, kid." He grumbled out shortly and you beamed.

"It's okay!!" You cheered, good mood restored.

"Aww, Eraser!!" Fukukado cooed at you. "She's so cute!!!

You squeaked in surprise when she pinched your cheeks, blinking up at her, puzzled and a little intimidated by her outgoing personality. When she released your face, you darted behind your dad’s back, poking your head out to inspect the strange woman.

"Emi, knock it off." Aizawa glowered, glaring at her.

Everyone else was just watching, jaws dropped in shock at such a ridiculous and chaotic exchange. They didn't know what to make of it.

The spunky pro-hero wasn't deterred in the slightest, going as far as to drag you out from behind him and hug you. "But Eraser!! She's adorable!!"

Aizawa practically hissed, but he backed off when you didn't seem to mind it. You didn't look uncomfortable, just mildly curious and very interested.

"How do you know Aizawa-sensei?" You asked, echoing the unspoken question that was going through every single person in 1-A's head.

It felt weird calling him that now since he had taken you in for good but hey, it was the most respectful way to address him in front of his potential partner. You still weren't fully convinced that this woman wasn't secretly dating him.

"We had hero agencies near each other!!" Fukukado laughed brightly, placing her hands on her hips and grinning brightly at the other students. "We'd help each other out, coming to each other's rescues. Eventually, our mutual love turned into—"

"That never happened." Aizawa interrupted, narrowing his eyes at her as if looks alone could shut her up and get her to stop spinning this tale.

It never changed no matter how much time had passed. His glare had never worked on her. Of course he knew it wasn't going to do anything now but it didn't hurt to try.

You were practically preening at all the attention Fukukado was giving you now as you warmed up to her endless amounts of energy, eagerly hanging onto her every word as she told you of the adventures the two of them used to go on when they were younger.

Eventually, she called her class over and they introduced themselves to your friends while you drew back to Aizawa’s side.

You waved goodbye to Ojiro as you found him in the crowd and wished him good luck as he left to go ready, the two of you heading in opposite directions once Ms. Joke sent off her own students.

Ojiro sent you a smile and promised that he would do his best before Ashido came to drag him away.

But not before teasing him how he couldn't stand to be apart from you.

He ignored her for the most part, looking the other way before she could catch a glimpse of his smile. If he had to deal with her for the entirety of the test, he was going to be screwed. It was already going to be distracting enough knowing that you were watching him in the stands.

Ojiro pushed it in the back of his mind for now. Test first. He had to get past this first.

Down the corridor leading into where the exam would be taking place, you skipped ahead of Aizawa despite his best attempt to stop you from going too far, dashing into the rows and rows of seats overlooking the huge arena.

Eyes rounding in awe, your lips parted in astonishment at the setting, filled with all sorts of different terrain and a box in the middle of it that looked kind of awkward amongst the mountains, factories, and made-made rivers.

"This is so cool!!!!" You cheered, jumping up and down as Aizawa and Fukukado caught up to you.

Other than a handful of other teachers and chaperones, there didn't seem to be anyone else here. You assumed that was due to being only the homeroom teachers needed to attend for the first and second years, since the third years could probably handle the transportation all on their own.

Aizawa let you pick out where you wanted to sit, following you as you finally settled down somewhere in the mid-range that would give you a good view of all the arenas.

You bounced in your seat eagerly as you waited for the test to start.

"Aw Eraser, look!! She's so excited!!" Fukukado exclaimed, pinching your cheek as she took the other seat next to you.

You whined as she tugged on your cheek again, batting her hand away as you curled up on Aizawa's side for comfort.

His eyes went wide as you snuggled into him but he didn't push you off. He rolled his eyes when Ms. Joke continued to pester him with questions. Where you came from, how old you were, what your quirk allowed you to do.

She was way too curious about all of it and he didn't find it nearly as endearing as he did with you.

Your eyes lit up when the center box in the building finally opened up and Fukukado ceased her relentless questions, revealing all of the heroes-in-training and you were on the edge of your seat as the licensing exam began.

After watching your classmates for a while as they scattered in different directions, you gathered the rules. They had to knock people out with the targets they had put on their body while avoiding getting knocked out by others.

You were stunned as Class 1-A outmaneuvered and managed to outsmart the other candidates at every twist and turn.

How Midoriya rallied the group to stand against everyone when they came after them first and how he managed to come up with a plan to counter so quickly.

You weren't surprised that Todoroki went off on his own but you really wished that he would one day come to realize that he could depend on them too. You didn't know what he had been through, but you knew it had been bad.

You wouldn't push him. He needed to take his own time.

Besides, he had shown that he was more than capable of handling things himself when he was the first one from your class to finish.

But once you spotted Ojiro amongst the crowd, you found that you couldn't take your eyes off of him. His physical prowess was something to be feared on the battlefield.

You didn't get much of a chance to ever see him in action, Aizawa preferring to separate the two of you so that you weren't distracted by each other while you were training and in the classroom, hence why your desk was all the way in the back where Ojiro couldn't see you.

It didn't matter. It wasn't like you looked away from him at all during class but you weren't going to tell your dad that his seating arrangement ended up having the best view to daydream about your crush.

Eyes sparkling as you watched Ojiro take down one after another, you were struck with how strong he was and how he managed to use his tail to the best of his ability. All while not moving quite like how you expected him, too.

"Dad..." You trailed off without taking your eyes off of Ojiro. "The way he's fighting..."

"Hmm?" Aizawa hummed, in the middle of looking at something else but strayed from them to align his sight with yours. "Who is it?"

"Mashirao— Ojiro-kun." You corrected yourself hastily when his gaze snapped to you at such an informal use of his name. "He's kind of fighting like you."

The corner of his mouth quirked up in a lopsided grin. "He's been working on his style for a while now, it's come a long way since Ectoplasm helped him with it."

You tucked your hands under your legs, tail swishing behind you as you raised an eyebrow. "You gave him some pointers, huh?"

Aizawa turned his attention back to the several battles taking place. "He's my student, of course I did."

He spared you a glance and rolled his eyes when your knowing grin didn't fade.

"Pay attention." He instructed with an underlying warning to his tone and you conceded for now.

You would get him to admit it one day, that he was the dad of the class. It was inevitable. Fate called for him in the form of twenty-two troublesome kids.

You watched as your classmates fought and cheered when they finally won, springing up from your seat when you saw that Ojiro passed.

Aizawa, on the other hand, glared at the group of ten students who just barely managed to pass as the limit was called. "So... there were that many of you left."

Fukukado leaned back, grinning at Aizawa from behind your back as you shouted your ecstatic congratulations down to them. "You're happy aren't you?!"

He scowled slightly. "No, I'm not."

"You are!!" She shouted with a loud laugh, slapping her thigh. "Your leg is bouncing happily!!"

Forcing it to still, he schooled his expression into one of indifference when your attention panned to him.

You leaned forward and bent your head, the tip of your fluffy ear poking his cheek cutely before you straightened up to beam at him. "It's okay to be proud of them, Dad. They worked really hard, right?"

Aizawa smiled faintly, resting a hand on your head and ruffled your hair.

"Doesn't matter." He huffed, suppressing the pride swelling in his chest as all twenty of his students passed thanks to their dedication and hard work. "They'll have to train even harder when we get back."

Your grin matched Ms. Joke's and she winked at you as the first test of two was called.

Aizawa didn't have to say it but you both knew. And you were definitely going to tease him later when he put up pictures of you all in his office tomorrow, hanging them proudly for the rest of the teachers to see when they walked in the lounge.

His kids had made it.

For all twenty of them to finish as part of the 100 that were allowed to pass out of thousands and thousands of students, that was already an accomplishment in it of itself.

There was a short, twenty minute break for the people who passed as they filtered out the ones who didn't, the examiners asking for them to leave so that they could continue promptly after the break was over.

"Dad, I'm hungry..." You said with a slight whine at the end, unable to help yourself, your stomach growling as if on cue.

Your stomach had been rumbling since the start and it only increased with your apprehension as the numbers were called. The first hundred to pass and the majority of Class 1-A had been in the last ten.

It was a close call, that much was for sure.

Still, they had all managed to pass. You were stoked. Ojiro even flashed you a thumbs up when he succeeded, finding you in the stands so effortlessly you were kind of hoping that it was because he was looking for you too.

Fukukado threw an arm around your shoulders energetically, causing you to squeak and almost lose your balance as she declared that she could take you. Your stomach rumbled again, louder this time and your cheeks tinted in embarrassment.

Removing his colleague's arm from you, Aizawa gestured for you to stand up. No way was he going to let you go off with his crazy colleague. "Come on then, kid."

Bounding up, you raced him to the concessions stand. Well, you raced. He kind of lumbered behind you, finding great amusement in the way your tail would twitch behind you in annoyance once you realized he wasn't racing you.

You pouted as he ambled over to you. "You're so slowwwwwwww."

He flicked your forehead and pinched your cheek in retaliation and you batted him away, growling but there was no bite to it.

Hopping in place, you whirled around and he had to actively jump back to avoid crashing into you.

Not wanting to draw unnecessary attention, Aizawa quickly paid for your armful of snacks that you collected when he wasn’t looking. Nobody needed to see your canines when you ate.

He was wary of your surroundings as you sprinted over to a bench positioned under a large tree, plopping down and tearing ravenously into the food. Settling down beside you, he leaned back against the tree and crossed his arms.

“How did your internship with Hound Dog go?” Aizawa asked, unable to mask all of his curiosity from you. He hadn’t gotten a chance to ask you yet, he had been too busy training Shinsou for his transfer.

Cheeks stuffed with food, you attempted to talk around it but all that came out was gibberish and you winced as your dad reprimanded you for talking with food in your mouth. Once you finished chewing, you were able to respond, albeit cheekily since it was so fun to see him like this.

“Why do you ask?” You asked, pretending to be clueless about the fact that you and Hound Dog both picked up on his scent when he lingered near the two of you the first day of your internship. “It went alright.”

At the sight of his irritated scowl, you did a double-take. You didn’t expect him to actually care this much about it, it must’ve really been bothering him.

Your eyes widened. “Did I do something wrong?”

Aizawa was quick to hush you, pulling you in for an awkward hug as you maintained your hold on your snack, cheeks bulging with food.

“No, kid.” He sighed. “Just wanted to make sure.”

You didn’t push him, knowing that if he wanted to say something he would. He wasn’t the type exactly comfortable with confrontation and you couldn’t say that you blamed him. But you couldn’t deny that you were curious as to why he asked. You couldn’t figure it out.

“... Why do you ask?” You repeated slowly.

Aizawa’s shoulders stiffened before he forced himself to relax.

You leaned forward, but your eyes widened as he vocalized his feelings at the time, admitting that he had felt a tad bit jealous that you didn’t ask him to train you.

He knew that Hound Dog was the best choice for you to train under, you hadn’t had much of an opportunity to hone your quirk for combat and the pro-hero who practically ran security for UA along with Snipe was the topic choice.

You lowered your crackers, losing your appetite as his words sunk in.

“I didn’t want to bother you.” You confessed softly, your ears pinned back on top of your head at how difficult it was to express your thoughts into a sentence that made sense. “I know you were busy with Toshi, not that I mind it!! I’m really glad you’re training him and I can’t wait until he joins our class—”

“If he chooses my class.” Aizawa interjected pointedly.

“Oh hush.” You snapped playfully at his negativity. “There’s no way he’s not going to choose us.”

Transfers had the option of choosing which hero class they wanted to be enrolled in. Principal Nezu liked to think of it like a gift for those that worked extra hard to follow their dreams, a reward as their efforts paid off and were recognized.

There was no way Shinsou was going to choose Class B over Class A when the latter had both you and your dad.

The corner of Aizawa’s mouth crooked up in a smile. He’d seen a lot of himself in the teenager with the brainwashing quirk. The likeness was uncanny.

The love for cats and coffee, the sleepless nights, the fact that their quirks didn’t enhance their physical combat abilities. He connected with Shinsou on a level he honestly never thought possible.

But he was worried that he might’ve been lacking in the attention and love he was supposed to give you while he was occupied with Shinsou’s training.

“You have that look on your face.” You told him, going back to eating your snacks, finishing one in record time before opening another one.

Aizawa scoffed. “What look?”

“The brooding look.” You grinned.

This time, he really did glare at you and you collapsed into a fit of laughter. His eyes softened at the sound.

“What are you so worried about, Dad?” You said, your fluffy ears poking his cheek as you snuggled up to him.

“Nothing, kid.” He muttered. He could figure this out on your own.

You shrugged your shoulders, willing to let it go if he was so stubborn to hold onto it. “I think you’re too worried, Toshi’s gonna do great when it comes time for his evaluation.”

Aizawa blinked. That wasn’t what he was worried about at all. Okay, maybe a little bit. But not much. He was more worried about whether or not you felt less loved ever since Shinsou had come into your lives.

“What?”

He froze as he realized he had said that last part out loud, mind racing to cover up his mistake when you suddenly threw your arms around him and hugged him tight.

“Of course not.” You whispered in disbelief that he was worrying about you all this time. “That’s what you thought?”

Your internship with Hound Dog must’ve made him insecure about his parenting abilities now that he was officially your dad. You were surprised, you didn’t think anything had the capability of rocking this man’s boat. He seemed so stoic, unshakable.

It was good to know that even the people you idolized the most were human too.

“I’m not offended, Dad. Toshi’s family too, right?” You questioned though you weren’t really asking. “You’ve never made me feel unimportant.”

Aizawa had hesitantly hugged you back. It felt wrong to hug you after he just voiced that he was having second thoughts about being the right kind of dad for you and here you were, comforting him. It felt weird.

But it was nice.

“You’re lucky I love you, kid.” Was all he said, a hint of a smile creeping up on his face.

You nodded, smiling softly against his shoulder. “I love you too, Dad.”

After somehow convincing him that you had to have ice cream as you headed back, Aizawa stopped short when you nearly devoured it in a heartbeat. There was nothing left by the time you got back to the stands.

He shook his head fondly as you raced ahead. And by the time he had found his way over to his seat, you were eagerly talking to Fukukado about something.

By the time the next test started and your attention had been stolen away once more, he waved to catch her attention.

Raising an eyebrow, Fukukado’s tease died on her lips as she noticed the serious expression on his face. She would recognize that look anywhere. Shooting him a questioning look, his gaze flitted to indicate something behind him and she followed it discreetly, with the experience of a pro.

What she saw had her eyes widening in shock.

Aizawa’s eyes narrowed a fraction as he gauged her reaction. His heart stopped as she shook her head, slight enough not to catch your attention and his jaw clenched, fists balling at his sides.

He would take care of them later.

This time, when the pro-heroes turned their attention back to the arena where the second test was in full swing, there was something a lot more ominous in the air.

A threat that promised Aizawa he hadn’t seen the last of them.

“So Eraser,” Fukukado grinned, leaning forward as she caught your attention. “I didn’t know you liked playing dad.”

“Enough, Emi.” Aizawa sighed exasperatedly, masking his distress from you.

You, however, didn’t pick up on the social cue and scampered behind him before he could stop you.

His voice raised as you left his vision field but before he could twist around to see you, you plopped your chin on his head. “Kid, what are you doing?”

Your tail was thumping so hard against the back of his chair that he could feel the vibrations through the cheap plastic.

“Scary…” You whimpered and his head immediately swiveled to the person he had spotted before, narrowing his eyes when he didn’t see them or the thing that they were torturing earlier.

But before he could instigate emergency protocols and whisk you out of there, you were shakily pointing towards the area where Gang Orca and a mini army had just crashed through the wall and was terrorizing your friends.

Aizawa couldn’t help but relax. You weren’t scared at anything other than the test.

You winced as one of the cement bullets came close to hitting Ojiro and Ashido. “Dad, are they going to hurt them?”

“No,” He said, settling back in his chair now that he knew there wasn’t any threat. “This is a test, remember?”

“I know that, but—” You winced again as Todoroki got hit, immobilizing him instantly, and covered your face with your hands. You couldn’t look.

Aizawa sighed, reaching up to awkwardly pat your head. It was harder to do when he couldn't see you.

“They’ll be fine.” He muttered, more to himself than to you. “They have to face this if they want to become heroes.”

You nodded, more of a reaction than an agreement with what he was saying. Peeking through your fingers, you shot up with a cheer as a paralyzed Yoarashi from another school worked together with an immobilized Todorki to trap Gang Orca in a spiral of flame.

“They did it!!” You burst out, a wide smile on your face as the end of the second exam was called. “Way to go you guys!!!!”

Aizawa sighed heavily, slumping back in his seat. Having to see his class go through a test more rigorous than usual was bad for his heart.

But a proud smile made its way onto his face as his students raced towards each other, congregating around a stage so that they could get their results.

He had said before that they needed to succeed, but that was to push them. The truth was, the fact that they all tried and ended up with results like this even though they had to overcome their personal differences and mistakes just proved that they all had what it took to be just like the heroes that they all admired.

Annoyed at the warmth that bloomed in his chest, he hid his face in his scarf so no one would see he’d gone soft.

You smirked, nudging his shoulder. “You’re proud of them~”

Aizawa rolled his eyes and snorted. “You’re just as bad as Mic, kid.”

“Eh?! That’s not fair!!”

“Life’s not fair.”

Pouting, you crossed your arms petulantly over your chest. “I’m telling Uncle Hizashi!!”

At Aizawa’s snort of indifference and nonchalance, you revoked your threat and gave him your very best watery puppy eyes.

But he didn’t cave like normal. In fact, his attention wasn’t even on you. He was staring off into the distance but you had no idea what he was looking at.

You were confused when Aizawa hurried to walk you to meet up with his students, but not before whispering something to Ms. Joke that you couldn’t make out, even with your enhanced hearing.

Then, as soon as Ojiro was within sight, Aizawa motioned to you in some sort of code and left you with him before disappearing from sight.

You blinked and Ojiro held out his hand for you to take.

“What was that all about?” He inquired curiously and you shrugged helplessly.

“I have no idea.” You said honestly.

But the energy buzzing in the air took your mind off of it as Ojiro led you to where the others were at.

Class 1-A were granted their provisional licenses, with the exception of Bakugou and Todoroki. Both were vastly disappointed but while Todoroki understood his shortcomings in the second test, Bakugou was having a bit of a tougher time coming to terms with it.

“Bakugou, calm down!!” Kirishima shouted, blocking a rogue explosion from hitting anyone else passing by. “C’mon man, they said you’ll get it once you attend that class!!”

“I don’t need a fucking class with those shitty extras!!” Bakugou exploded, storming off a little ways away to brood and process everything that had just happened.

With the sun setting, the other examinees had trickled out and gone home for the day with the exception of their class while they waited for their homeroom teacher to come back from whatever he was sorting out.

Yaoyorozu, Koda and Aoyama left to go get food from the same concessions stand that you and Aizawa were at earlier. Everyone was starving and Iida figured that some food couldn’t hurt while you all waited.

Midoriya bounded over to you eagerly, capturing your attention and you congratulated him enthusiastically on his success. While he talked to you about all the interesting quirks he came across, you couldn’t help but stray from him every so often to glance up at Ojiro.

He was scanning the premises every so often but would mask his concern and shoot you a reassuring smile every time you glanced at him out of the corner of your eyes.

After the three of them returned, Midoriya flocking to Koda to get some food to replenish his energy as Kirishima dragged a protesting Bakugou the entire way over, you tugged on Ojiro’s hand.

You were worried. Your dad hadn’t returned yet and come to think of it, you hadn’t seen Ms. Joke either. Her students had passed by awhile, saying that they were getting on a train to make it back to their academy but they didn’t say a thing about her, so either they weren’t worried and this was a normal occurrence, or she was in trouble.

Your heart started to beat faster as your mind raced with possibilities of what could have happened and you couldn’t keep up, panic constricting in your chest and your breathing getting heavier until you couldn’t take it anymore.

You couldn’t sit here and wait, you had to help them!!

But your joined hand with Ojiro’s didn’t slip out as you tried to run off in the direction you had seen your dad go in last.

Ojiro’s tail wound around your waist and he hugged you tightly, suppressing his own conflicted feelings as you trembled in his arms. He was worried too, but he had to trust his teacher. Aizawa was more capable than any of them when it came to villains and if one had snuck in, he’d be the best qualified for dealing with it.

But the security for the licensing exam was flawless so he highly doubted that was the case. Still, he understood your distress.

Your knees knocked together but you stayed put due to the lock around your middle and you gritted your teeth.

The apprehension didn’t fade, it only seemed to get worse as the seconds ticked by but when the rugged appearance and bright costume of your dad and Ms. Joke stepped out of the shadows, you were wrestling out of Ojiro’s hold as the breath you had been holding in rushed out of your lungs.

“Dad!!” You cried out, bursting into tears when you reached him.

Any other time you would’ve scolded yourself for being so emotional in front of others but you couldn’t help it. He had just left and you didn’t know where he went. It felt just like the first time Ojiro met you and treated your injury before disappearing from your line of sight.

Aizawa caught you with one hand as you tunneled into his chest, stumbling back a few steps at your force.

“Geez, kid, what’s the—”

His eyes widened at the sight of the drops of water streaking down your cheeks and he cursed himself for not telling you where he was going to be. He had been so focused that it narrowed his field of vision.

“Sorry,” He murmured apologetically, resting his free hand on your head.

You closed your eyes as his reassurance and guilt washed over you, batting your head against his hand again just like earlier to show that you were okay.

You weren’t exactly sure why you got so nervous when people left without any explanation. Maybe because it reminded you of your birth parents but you honestly couldn’t say because you didn’t remember them all that well.

A soft ‘meow’ snapped you out of your trance and your eyes trailed down to where you heard the sound coming from, a loud squeal erupting from your lungs before you could stop it, startling everyone within a ten foot radius of you.

Which included Aizawa, Fukukado, and all the students of Class 1-A.

“A kitty!!” You squealed, catching sight of your dad holding it in his other hand. “Where did you find it?!”

You stretched out a hand to pet it but Aizawa lifted it far out of your reach. Your protest died when Fukukado ushered you a little bit away, still within Aizawa’s earshot but far away enough so that you couldn’t touch it.

“Why can’t I—”

“It could be a spy.” Fukukado whispered to you seriously and your tail fluffed up.

“What?”

“The Quirk Traffickers.” Aizawa glowered, glaring at the small cat as he held it up by its scruff. “Some people were messing with it earlier, tossing it around and holding it up, making a show before kicking it to the side.”

The troublesome kids had scattered before he got a chance to capture and question them so he couldn’t say for certain but he was pretty sure they were involved.

Your fur bristled at those people doing something so cruel to an innocent animal. But that still didn’t explain why they thought it was a spy, let along a spy for the Quirk Traffickers.

“Eraser thinks it might be a lure.” Fukukado explained, all amusement gone from her eyes as she folded her arms over her chest. “A kid who’s got a shapeshifting quirk that’s being forced to spy on you.”

You couldn’t say you were completely astonished that he had filled her in on your rough past but you were a bit surprised that he seemed to implicitly trust her despite saying that he wanted nothing to do with her earlier.

How interesting. You would have to question him later.

Ms. Joke jabbed a thumb over to where Aizawa was having a staring contest with the grey kitten who was battered and bruised from the treatment earlier. Your blood was boiling just thinking about it.

“Eraser’s trying to see if he can get it to change.” Fukukado told you.

Everyone, the students who had crowded closer to see what the commotion was all about and the two pro-heroes, stopped short when you burst out laughing.

“Dad, put him down.” You wheezed, still trying to catch your breath from your laughing fit.

Now everyone was really confused.

Ojiro, who had overheard the tailend of Ms. Joke’s information, was wary when she mentioned that Aizawa thought the Quirk Traffickers might be involved. He caught your arm but faltered when he saw the twinkle in your eye. You wouldn’t look like that if you were in danger.

Reluctantly, he let you go.

Aizawa still hadn’t let go of the cat, despite what you had said. It wasn’t that he didn’t trust you, he just didn’t exactly trust that there was nothing going on and—

“It’s just a kitten, Dad.” You reassured, giggling slightly when the sharpness in his glare dulled just a bit. “I promise it’s completely harmless.”

Aizawa stared at it suspiciously as the creature weakly batted at his hand but set it down in his hands so that he was gripping it gently to not add to its injuries but firmly just in case you were wrong and it tried to escape.

He hummed lowly, not completely convinced. “And you know this how?”

Tapping the side of your nose, you smiled as you nonverbally reminded him of your enhanced senses.

“Humans have a different scent than animals do.” You said softly. “If he was someone who had a shapeshifting quirk, he would still smell like a human even in animal form.”

You could pick up on the kitten’s distress at being handled so roughly by so many strangers but you couldn’t say you blamed him. Plucking him from your now shell-shocked dad’s hands, you petted it soothingly, careful to keep your canines tucked away so that you didn’t scare it.

“There, there…” You comforted, hugging it close to your chest. “It’s alright.”

Aizawa couldn’t believe what he was seeing. He had been so convinced after seeing such irregular behavior from people. And while he still couldn’t explain why they had been beating up an innocent animal who hadn’t caused any harm, he supposed it wasn’t important anymore. What mattered was that you were safe.

“I didn’t know you could do all that…” Aizawa trailed off, underlying wonder following his voice. He had no time to feel flustered or embarrassed by his mistake, seeing as how if he ended up being right, you would’ve been in grave danger.

“Just don’t eat it.” Sero said, eyeing him oddly.

“Ignore him.” Tokoyami said and Shoji nodded in agreement.

Todoroki cocked his head to the side. “Why would I eat it?”

“I dunno man!!” Kaminari exclaimed, throwing his hands up. “You named it Soba!!”

“Ignore them.” Tokoyami corrected calmly and the two of them shifted their attack to him instead for his poor choice of names to approve for the unofficial dorm cat.

“Y/N, what do you think?” Sato interjected, quelling the argument before it could get out of control. He knew you would approve no matter what Todoroki decided to name it, that was just the type of person you were.

You tapped a finger to your chin in thought. “Well… considering I was just going to call it Dusty, I think Soba is better.”

Tenya: Tenya seems like a teacher or professor. His strict nature and ability to take hold of a room tells me he'd do good directing others and teaching them. He'd definitely dedicate himself to his students and to keeping up with the workload.

Uraraka: Ochako would be a lawyer that specialized in defending children. Her kind nature would make her good at it, and her boldness and will when faced with a challenge would drive her forward in the harder times. Her wish to support herself and her family would definitely push her to work hard at her job and help others.

Ojiro: Martial arts for sure. He'd be living up in some temple mastering several techniques and possibly utilizing them in live tournaments. With his swiftness and ability to think on his feet, he'd do great.

Kaminari: Denki would be a DJ that organized events. He's not the most booksmart but I think if he were faced with putting together a killer party, he'd out-due anyone else who dared try. He could definitely make a business out of it.

Kirishima: Eijiro would be a professional bodybuilder and firefighter. His constant talk of manliness and the way he works himself to death supports that he'd be willing to commit to both of these at the same time. He loves to save people and is a lot smarter than he's given credit for.

Koda: Koji would be an animal rehabilitator. His love for animals and shy composure proves he'd probably feel more comfortable working primarily with wildlife rather than tons of other people.

Sato: Rikido would be a professional baker for obvious reasons. Baking is a passion of his and he's already great at it in canon. I feel he'd also have a huge social media gig going on that supported body positivity and going on diets that still included sugar and things people enjoy.

Shoji: Mezo would be a therapist for youth. He's quiet, soft-mannered, and a great listener. He always protects his classmates and has a huge heart. His ability to feel such strong empathy would work well with kids and teens in need of help.

Jiro: Kyoka would be a singer and a songwriter who toured the world and threw killer concerts. Her casual confidence and strong voice would draw in fans in droves, and her talent with the guitar would only boost that. There's no question that she'd be famous.

Tokoyami: Fumikage would without a doubt own an obscure little mystery store in a small town that tourists drove miles just to see. Wiccan oddities, cryptid apparel, and a variety of gothic jewelry. Maybe some records too. He'd flourish in a setting like that.

Mineta: Minoru would be in ✨jail✨

Momo: Yaoyorozu would be the rich heir of some huge company specializing in oil and stocks. She'd probably run a tea business on the side and open a chain of dainty little cafes that she'd work hard to manage herself.

Hagakure: Toru would be a make-up artist. I don't know why it fits her vibe so well, but it does. Possibly feeling unseen, she might make it her life's passion to make others and herself more noticeable. There had to be times when she didn't feel pretty. -Blood: Halfblood (Mother is Muggle)

-Explanation of House: Izuku has the quality of heroism that fits in with Gryffindor but he is filled with that determination. He keeps his journal and has battle plans memorized. He is able to think on his feet and adapt easily to a situation. He is a perfect example to show that Slytherin doesn't mean bad, even if we only really saw bad examples in the series.

-Patronus: Brown Bear - Bears are known for being protective and brave to those they care about (Mother and cubs).

-Partner: Hufflepuff -(Y/N) comes from a pureblood family with their elder brother being a Slytherin (Shigaraki). They aren't very heroic in any way, which keeps them out of Gryffindor, unlike Nevil. Once they have been shown kindness, they develop a strong connection and become very loyal. They would die for those that they care for. -Blood: Pureblood -Patronus: Netherland Dwarf Rabbit -They are meek but are humble in their abilities. They are a symbol of rebirth and second chances.

-Blood: Halfblood (Father is Muggle)

-Explanation of House: Are you going to tell me this boy just doesn't scream Gryffindor? He often acts before thinking when he is emotional and he is filled with confidence in himself. He would be the type of person who puts himself in danger to save someone else. He comes off as harsh but he means well.

-Patronus: Wild Boar -Symbols being fearless and the embodiment of power.

-Partner: Gryffindor -(Y/N) is focused on helping others and puts themselves in danger to protect others. They put others before themselves which is a classic Gryffindor move. They may not be as outgoing as other Gryffindors (Kiri) but they are definitely a lion at heart. -Blood: Pureblood -Patronus: King Cobra -Snakes, especially poisonous ones, are known for being the duality of healing and hurting.

🍜 Shoto Todoroki: Ravenclaw

-Blood: Pureblood

-Explanation of House: In my mind, Todoroki is always taking in information when he is silent. He obviously eavesdrops with how he heard Toru after the USJ attack. He does have the cunning of a Slytherin (and I believe his father would be a Slytherin) but he is very intelligent and his clever nature is what got him into this house.

-Patronus: Panther -Panthers are known for being contemplative and keeping their emotions hidden.

-Partner: Ravenclaw -(Y/N) has had to rely on creative ideas and their ingenuity to keep them equal to others. It is hard enough being a muggleborn so they have to prove to others that they are just as good as a pureblood. It doesn't help that their s/o is a Pureblood. He isn't tied by the blood hierarchy but his father believes strongly in it. -Blood: Muggleborn -Patronus: Ram -Rams can be seen as stubborn but they are filled with determination and will not let themselves be pushed around.

🦈 Eijiro Kirishima: Gryffindor

-Blood: Half-Blood ( Both parents are half-bloods themselves )

-Explanation of House: I'm sure this is no surprise to any of you. Kiri is the poster child of the red and gold house. He is definitely chivalrous and is filled with bravery. He does have the loyalty of a Hufflepuff but his stronger traits fall into Gryffindor. He is what everyone thinks of when they hear Gryffindor.

-Patronus: Bull -Bulls are known to be impulsive in their actions but they symbolize raw emotion and confidence.

-Partner: Ravenclaw -(Y/N) could fit into Hufflepuff with how kind they are but they have such a passion for learning that they fall into Ravenclaw. They try to stay under the radar to keep from being a target due to not having any powers. They are only allowed in Hogwarts due to their father being the Defense Against Dark Arts teacher. -Blood: Muggle, no powers. -Patronus: Chameleon - Chameleons use their camouflage to keep hidden from predators but symbol hidden talents and defenses.

-Blood: Half-Blood ( Father is a Muggle )

-Explanation of House: Is it really shocking (lol) that I put him in Hufflepuff? To be honest, he isn't the smartest (not necessarily with memorization stuff) when it comes to wisdom. He is a dumb dudebro who would jump from the roof onto the beer pong table. He could fall into Gryffindor with his impulsive nature but he puts being kind and helping others above all else, which is why he is placed in Hufflepuff.

-Patronus: Coyote - Coyotes are believed to be one of the trickster animals who focus on the enjoyment of life. They also are able to see things from both sides and have unique intelligence.

-Partner: Ravenclaw - (Y/N) relies on their luck a lot but they do have a quick wit. They are the kind of person who can easily figure out riddles, having their own special kind of intelligence. They are the best at solving any type of puzzle and have a very clever mind. -Blood: Pureblood -Patronus: Fox - One of the other trickster creatures, the fox is known for its good luck which gets it out of many tight spots.

🌹 Hanta Sero: Gryffindor

-Blood: Half-Blood ( Two Half-Blood Parents )

-Explanation of House: I see this boy being filled with courage and the desire to help. He reminds me of a mix of Kirishima and Denki. He deeply cares for his friends like Denki but also has more courage than the blonde like Kiri. He may not be as vocal as his sharp-toothed friend but he fits in Gryffindor just as well.

-Patronus: Spider - Spiders are believed to symbolize protection and creativity.

-Partner: Ravenclaw - (Y/N) is filled with that creative spirit and loves to design different outfits for people. They are known for making patches for the other students to put on their robes for some individuality. At first, it was an issue but the headmaster ended up deciding that small changes like that in the uniform were allowed. -Blood: Half-Blood ( Mother is a Muggle ) -Patronus: Dragonfly - Dragonflies are known for being carefree and filled with imagination. They carry themselves with lightness.

-Explanation of House: I thought about putting him in Ravenclaw because of the obvious but after thinking about it for a bit, I think he fits as a Gryffindor more. He reminds me of a knight and they would definitely fit in Gryffindor's house. He is the only one of the Dekusquad who is in the red and gold house.

-Patronus: Clydesdale Horse - The horse symbolizes carrying the burdens of others and strength. They also are a sign of nobility.

-Partner: Gryffindor - (Y/N) is filled with determination to help those that can't protect themselves. They have a rather optimistic outlook on life which gives them a few Hufflepuff traits but it is their self-sacrificing nature that was the final decision in their house placement. -Blood: Pureblood -Patronus: Pelican - Pelicans symbolize being unselfish and responsible as well as safety for others.

-Blood: Pureblood

-Explanation of House: Many would see him as Slytherin but he relies on his intelligence quite a bit when it comes to fighting. He isn't as cunning a Slytherin and he isn't very outgoing and friendly like a Hufflepuff. Dark shadow would be considered a Griffindor due to how impulsive he is.

-Patronus: Owl - Owls are believed to be filled with wit and have a special connection to the magic and the astral plane.

-Partner: Hufflepuff - (Y/N) is the perfect example of a Hufflepuff. They are filled with kindness and it seems like everyone likes them. They are willing to stand up for the little guy and want to make sure that everyone is happy. They have a talent when it comes to reading people's emotions. -Blood: Half-Blood ( Father is a Muggle) -Patronus: Dove - A dove symbols peace and hope in things moving forward. It is believed to show the gentleness and be a messenger to the spirit plane.

-Blood: Muggleborn

-Explanation of House: He has the patience of a Hufflepuff but he feels more like a Gryffindor to me. He is both valiant and filled with chivalry. He reminds me of such a gentleman and the perfect candidate to become a hero. His head is level-headed enough so he doesn't panic but he has enough bravery to act in the moment.

-Patronus: Puma - Pumas are known for having a silent strength and graceful/deliberate movements.

-Partner: Hufflepuff -(Y/N) sees the world in a different way than most do, similar to that of Luna Lovegood. They are always trying to experience the five different senses and like to experiment with different things like texture and taste. They are very loyal to those that they care about. -Blood: Pureblood -Patronus: Raccoon - While Raccoons can be known for being tricksters, they also are known to be explorative and curious.

-Blood: Half-Blood (Father is a Muggle)

-Explanation of House: What am I basing this belief on? Well, it has been shown that he will do anything for his friends. He had his scene with Asui where he makes sure to keep her warm and he straight up loses one of his hands to Tokoyami when Dark Shadow takes over. He has a deep loyalty to those that he cares about.

-Patronus: Quail - Quails symbolize team-work and group harmony. They also are very protective.

-Partner: Slytherin - (Y/N) is a very tricky person to deal with as their emotions can change with the turn of the wind. Just like a cat, they are quite cunning and tend to focus more on their own desires than others. They are trying to learn to be a bit more selfless from Shoji. -Blood: Pureblood -Patronus: Cat - Obviously, the cat family is known for being cunning and independent from others.

🌟 Yuga Aoyama: Gryffindor

-Blood: Pureblood

-Explanation of House: Surprised? I am basing this on his interactions with Midoriya in the anime in that one episode, ignoring his creepy cheese obsession. When he pulls Deku aside and gets serious, I feel like we see him for the first time and he isn't a comic relief character. He is showing that he truly wants to be a hero and that gets him into Gryffindor for me.

-Patronus: Peacock - Peacocks represent the feeling of being self-assured and the recognition of pride when it is due.

-Partner: Ravenclaw - They like to focus more on the creative side of things and aren't as brave as others. They like to go with the flow and hate for too much pressure to be put on them. They fit into Hufflepuff but their natural curiosity for things they don't understand puts them in Ravenclaw. -Blood: Half-Blood (Two Half-Blood Parents) -Patronus: Seal - Seals are known for being close to their family as well as symbolize creativity and imagination.

-Blood: Muggleborn

-Explanation of House: There is no one more hard-working then Uraraka. She does have traits of both Slytherin with her determination and Gryffindor with her courage but her loyalty and determination she possesses to be able to provide for her family is what got her into the yellow and black house.

-Patronus: Otter - Otters are an important symbol for empathy and the joy that life can bring.

-Partner: Hufflepuff -(Y/N) is focused most of their friends and helping them with what they need. Their elder brother Tenya was placed in Gryffindor, the same house that their elder brother Tensei was in. They are both impulsive and brave but one of their main traits is the kindness they have for others. -Blood: Pureblood -Patronus: Hummingbird - Hummingbirds represent energy and the vitality of youth. They are also warriors who can be playful.

-Blood: Pureblood

-Explanation of House: Mina definitely has a creative side which could have gotten her into Ravenclaw and she loves her friends but she is impulsive and filled with courage. Think of that scene when she was in middle school. That villain was giant but she didn't even think twice about going to help those girls!

-Patronus: Cougar - Cougars symbolize courage as well as loyalty. They are able to take the leadership position if needed.

-Partner: Slytherin - (Y/N) has a lot of house pride and refuses to be seen as a villain. They simply are cunning and able to talk circles around people when they need to. Their older brother (Hawks) was also in Slytherin, which shocked many as they expected him to be in Gryffindor. -Blood: Muggleborn -Patronus: Raven - Ravens are known for their intelligence and are often believed to be cunning creatures.

-Blood: Half-Blood (Mother is a Muggle)

-Explanation of House: Tsu is always shown to be level-headed even in the most chaotic of situations. She is filled with determination to help those around her and is very resourceful when necessary. She can come up with plans and change them quickly to fit the situation better.

-Patronus: Eagle - Eagles are meant to symbolize a clear goal and the determination to succeed in plans.

-Partner: Gryffindor - (Y/N) is one of the most impulsive people Tsu has ever met. They are bouncing off of the walls a lot of the time but they have such a sense of justice and protectiveness towards others that they were placed in the red and gold house filled with heroes. -Blood: Unknown heritage. -Patronus: Moose - Moose are known for being strongwilled in what they believe and protective of those around them.

🎵 Kyoka Jiro: Slytherin

-Blood: Half-Blood (Mother is a Muggle)

-Explanation of House: Jiro fits the creativity that comes with Ravenclaw but I view her as more cunning and resourceful. She definitely is a Slytherin when compared to her other classmates. She is smart and can come up with plans that work to the strengths of her teammates.

-Patronus: Tiger - They are known to speak the duality of being a creator as well as a destroyer.

-Partner: Ravenclaw - (Y/N) is a rather quiet person who only really opens up around those they trust. Their best friend is in Gryffindor and they often hide behind them when situations get too much for them. They have their own unique type of intelligence. -Blood: Pureblood -Patronus: Hedgehog - A hedgehog is meant to symbolize self-preservation and the shyness of meeting new people before opening up.

-Blood: Pureblood

-Explanation of House: This one shouldn't be shocking to anyone. The girl is filled with intelligence and often tries to be logical in the moment. She is able to make plans using the facts but she isn't tied down by them. She knows how dangerous it was to get Bakugo but she still went with the others to save him.

-Patronus: Swan - Swans are elegant and filled with grace. They are shown to strive for perfection.

-Partner: Ravenclaw - They have just as much determination as their sister Uraraka but they are more focused on having a plan than acting out of instinct. They are filled with bravery but they look at the world like a problem needing to be solved, similar to that of a riddle or puzzle. -Blood: Muggleborn -Patronus: Mouse - The mouse is meant to be the symbol for the importance of detail and being careful with plans.

💜 Hitoshi Shinso: Gryffindor

-Blood: Muggleborn

-Explanation of House: This was a tossup between him going into Gryffindor or Slytherin so I took the Harry Potter decision. Harry spoke out when he was being sorted which is what ultimately got him into Gryffindor and I think Shinso would be the same. Just remember how he went to 1-A just to straight-up tell them he was going to take one of their places? A Gryffindor would definitely do that. A Slytherin would be more discreet and work behind the scenes to get what they want.

-Patronus: Weasel - Weasels have a hidden strength to them and hold a commanding and powerful aura.

-Partner: Slytherin - Everyone always thought that (Y/N) would end up in Ravenclaw due to how much they value knowledge but it was their cunning nature that was the final decision. They do not merely memorize facts like a Ravenclaw might. They use all their knowledge to get what they want which is why they fall into the serpent house. -Blood: Pureblood -Patronus: Skunk - Skunks symbolize the demanding of respect and taking time with your actions.

☁️ Inasa Yoarashi: Hufflepuff

-Blood: Muggleborn

-Explanation of House: Inasa has the heroism that any good Gryffindor student has but he has such a welcoming presence that I think that he fits better with Hufflepuff. He is one of the many examples that show that Hufflepuffs can be strong and soft at the same time.

-Patronus: Canine - Dogs are known for being loyal to those they care about and filled with love to share.

-Partner: Gryffindor - Even without any powers on their side, (Y/N) is filled with innate bravery. They do feel fear but they have learned how to push past that if it means saving someone. -Blood: Pureblood, a genetic malfunction that gives them no powers. -Patronus: N/A - N/A

-Blood: Half-Blood (Both Half-Blood Parents)

-Explanation of House: He was close to getting into Hufflepuff (just like Kiri) but his brave nature overruled his immense amount of care he has for his friends. He is very loyal but one of his big aspects is how brave he is. He isn't only brave for his friends, which pushed him to be a lion. He would stand up for a stranger if he thought it was the right thing to do.

-Patronus: Armadillo - Known for trusting in others but being tough when they need to.

-Partner: Hufflepuff - (Y/N)'s main focus is helping others but they are focused more on a pacifistic approach than other houses like Gryffindor. They focus on their bonds with their friends and those around them. They are an expert when it comes to making someone feel better. -Blood: Pureblood -Patronus: Frog - Frogs are said to represent healing and medicine, as well as being peaceful.

-Explanation of House: I just get the feeling that he would be a Slytherin. He takes the leader position when it comes to both his friendships and his teammates in battle. He is able to come up with a plan and isn't against using slightly underhanded tactics to do the right thing.

-Patronus: Rooster - Roosters are very self-assured and filled with pride. They are also known for being honest to a T.

-Partner: Gryffindor - (Y/N) has a hard time with impulse control, which pushes them toward the house of the lion. They also are filled with bravery, often rushing into things without thinking them through first. This is where Shido comes in handy to keep them from doing anything too dangerous. -Blood: Pureblood -Patronus: Roadrunner - Roadrunners are known for their speed and are seen as symbolizing opportunistic opportunities.

-Blood: Half-Blood (Father is a Muggle)

-Explanation of House: His scene with Momo convinces me that he would be in Gryffindor. He didn't leave her when she was hurt and he was ready to die before being a coward. He is less impulsive than some Gryffindors but he is as brave as any of them. I love him, he is such a brave boi.

-Patronus: Beaver - Beavers are intelligent and symbolize being strong-willed and determined.

-Partner: Hufflepuff - (Y/N) is a kind student who gets along with most of their classmates. They like to take care of others in a maternal/paternal way. They believe that one of the most important things for someone to be is kind. Sometimes kindness is enough. -Blood: Pureblood -Patronus: Porcupine - Porcupines symbolize innocence.

-Blood: Half-Blood (Mother is a Muggle)

-Explanation of House: Mirio could fit into Griffindor with how heroic and self-sacrificing he can be but he ended up in Hufflepuff due to how important his friends are to him. He is one of the most loyal people to exist as well as being a ball of sunshine. Hufflepuffs can be just as much of a hero as a Gryffindor, look at Newt!

-Patronus: Lion - Though Mirio isn't in Gryffindor, his Patronus is a lion as they are known for their protective nature and loud beliefs.

-Partner: Ravenclaw - (Y/N) was terrified of being placed in Slytherin as Nightmare would be considered to fit in that house. They, on the other hand, fit more into Ravenclaw due to the creativity they possess. They have learned many skills in their time of trying to ignore their other side. -Blood: Half-Blood (Unknown) -Patronus: Zebra - Zebras symbolize illusions as well as a sense of individuality.

-Blood: Pureblood

-Explanation of House: Another good example of the side of Slytherin not shown in the series. It is canonically shown that Tamaki is able to run through multiple plans in his head and can change his plan of attack in seconds to accommodate for the new information he has on his enemy.

-Patronus: Opposum -Opossums symbolize being intelligent and quick-witted. They are believed to be strategic creatures.

-Partner: Hufflepuff - (Y/N) is very open-hearted and is ready to take anyone under their wing if they need someone to lean on. They are similar to Mirio in their kindness. They are brave but not impulsive on such a belief. They will always want to help someone but will take time to come up with a plan. -Blood: Muggleborn -Patronus: Monkey - The monkey is one of the trickster deities (Especially in Chinese Mythos) and are known to be very curious.

-Blood: Half-Blood (Two Half-Blood Parents)

-Explanation of House: Mei is an example of the more rare version of a Ravenclaw which is the chaotic creative student. She also has quite a bit of knowledge and is rather intelligent. Just look at how much she knows about technology and how well she is able to use that to make her 'babies'.

-Patronus: Ferret - Ferrets are mischievous creatures who are self-reliant.

-Partner: Hufflepuff - Just like Mei, (Y/N) is in the chaotic subtype of their house. They are unable to keep themselves in one place and don't always think over what they are doing before actually doing it. This is why they end up covered in bruises and small cuts. -Blood: Muggleborn -Patronus: Chipmunk - Chipmunks symbolize being energetic and curious independence.

-Explanation of House: Kendo could fit into Gryffindor but she is too calm and logical in my mind. Yes, there is Hermione but her bravery overweighed her intelligence. Kendo's quick-thinking mind overweighs her more knightly characteristics. Ravenclaws can be heroes too.

-Patronus: Jackel - Jackels are symbols for intelligence and tenacity. They also are known to be courageous.

-Partner: Slytherin - (Y/N) is known for being mischievous as well as having a very cunning mind. They can be dangerous to those that they don't like because they can easily trick someone in one way or another. Make sure not to get on their bad side and make them plan revenge. They hold a grudge. -Blood: Half-Blood (Two Half-Blood Parents) -Patronus: Fox - Foxes are a trickster creature who are known for their magic and talent in illusions.

-Blood: Half-Blood (Father is a Muggle)

-Explanation of House: She is a stereotypical Hufflepuff, where she is just shoved into a house since she doesn't fit the others. In reality, she is very loyal to those that she cares about and has a naturally kind personality. I also see Camie being patient to those she cares for.

-Patronus: Hyena - Hyenas are known for not taking themselves too seriously and have a good sense of humor.

-Partner: Gryffindor - Everyone thinks (Y/N) is going to be placed in Slytherin due to their quirk but they are really a Gryffindor. They are filled with courage and while they doubt themselves at times, they always come back with high self-esteem in the end. -Blood: Pureblood -Patronus: Orca - Orcas represent powerful and thoughtful individuals.

-Explanation of House: This shouldn't be surprising, just look back at the first time she meets 1-A. That girl is filled with so much energy and is giving off so much of a kind aura that she fits perfectly as a Hufflepuff. Yes, she does have a desire for knowledge but she fits more with Hufflepuff than Ravenclaw.

-Patronus: Bee -Bees are said to enjoy life as well as being defensive. They are said to symbolize energy.

-Partner: Ravenclaw - While Neijire doesn't fit fully, (Y/N) is a better match for Ravenclaw. They are a quiet and shy person who has a hard time expressing themselves. They rely on things such as art and other creative outlets to express themselves properly. -Blood: Muggleborn -Patronus: Snail - Snails are said to be solitary yet still protective.

-Explanation of House: Best Jeanist seems to be very calculated when it comes to his plans. He knows the importance of having a friendly image like a Gryffindor but with how much of a leader he is, he is more of a serpent. He is a perfect example of Slytherin not being a bad house.

-Partner: Ravenclaw - (Y/N) is a logical individual with a good dose of quick-wit which allows them to work with even the toughest hero, aka Endeavor. They don't take crap from anyone. They are known to be kind as long as someone doesn't lose their trust and respect. -Blood: Muggleborn -Patronus: Lioness - Lionesses are known to symbolize determination as well as persistence.

-Blood: Muggleborn

-Explanation of House: Hawks has shown that he is willing to do some bad things if it means that the right thing happens in the end. He has heroic qualities and is often mistaken to be a Gryffindor but he is more cunning than the average lion. He will do whatever needs to be done.

-Patronus: Macaw - Loud and filled with pride in themselves, Macaws could be said to be overcompensating for something.

-Partner: Hufflepuff - While they do have as heroic spirit in them, they are more focused on the care of others to be placed in Gryffindor. They never thought they were going to be placed in that house, which was one reason the sorting hat decided they were in Hufflepuff. They were not overly egotistical in themselves. -Blood: Half-Blood (Unknown) -Patronus: Scarab - Scarabs are known for accepting people as well as being open to rebirth and renewal.

🌀 Oboro Shirakumo: Gryffindor

-Blood: Muggleborn

-Explanation of House: I see Oboro as a mix between All-Might and Mirio. His reckless nature is what pushes him over from Hufflepuff into Gryffindor. He is willing to do whatever he needs to (self-sacrificing wise) to protect the innocent. He doesn't always think his actions all the way through.

-Patronus: Griffin - Griffins are said to be filled with pride and are vigilant to a T.

-Partner: Hufflepuff - (Y/N) just wishes that everyone can get along. They tend to be more pacifistic then their elder brother Aizawa. They are willing to fight if they need to but they prefer to keep things peaceful if that is an option. They use their quirk to make people calm down. -Blood: Muggleborn -Patronus: Ladybug - Ladybugs are said to be good luck and offer protection to those that see them.

💤 Shota Aizawa: Ravenclaw

-Blood: Muggleborn

-Explanation of House: Aizawa is as cunning as any Slytherin and can come up with plans as well as them as well. The thing that keeps Aizawa from being a Slytherin is that his emotions control his actions more than logic does at times. He has to do what his heart tells him is right.

-Patronus: Lynx - Lynx are known for being sharp-sighted and secretive with a cunning mind.

-Partner: Gryfinndor - (Y/N) may hide it but they are a true hero at heart. They come off as friendly and one would assume they are a Hufflepuff until any type of danger presents itself. They quickly turn into a protector and take control of the situation to keep as many people safe as possible. -Blood: Half-Blood (Both Parents are Half-Blood) -Patronus: Red Panda - Red Pandas are known for being trusting and very patient.

🥕 Miruko: Gryffindor

-Blood: Half-Blood (Mother is a Muggle)

-Explanation of House: Does this really need to be explained? She is filled with confidence in herself and is known for many of her heroic personality traits. She is able to defend those when needed and can fight without being crippled in fear like some think she would due to her quirk.

-Patronus: Rat - Rats are ambitious and are able to change when necessary. They are also known for being sociable.

-Partner: Slytherin -(Y/N) had to learn how to be cunning at a young age due to their quirk. They also had to learn to be careful so as not to hurt anyone too badly by accident. They have learned how to twist their words to get what they want. A heroic Slytherin. -Blood: Pureblood -Patronus: Squirrel - Squirrels symbolize having everything planned out and can be a bit obsessive at times.

🍭 Ms.Joke: Hufflepuff

-Blood: Half-Blood (Father was a Muggle)

-Explanation of House: Again, this one seems like it doesn't need to be explained. Ms.Joke's entire quirk is focused on humor and has let her be a kind person as she has grown. She is a hero, so she could fit in Gryffindor but she isn't impulsive enough or recklessly brave.

-Patronus: Dolphin - Dolphins are symbols for emotional intelligence and empathy.

-Partner: Gryffindor -Unlike Joke, (Y/N) can't help but be impulsive with their actions. With their quirk, it has allowed them to get away with a lot more without repercussions which has caused them to be a bit too reckless at times. They do well with someone else by their side to keep them in line. -Blood: Pureblood -Patronus: Fennec Fox - These are like their bigger counterpart with a trickster aspect but they are more light-hearted.

Villains

🎮 Tomura Shigaraki: Slytherin

-Blood: Halfblood (Mother is Muggle)

-Explanation of House: I know, the classic villain is a Slytherin but he does fit. He is willing to go to any lengths that he needs to get what he wants in the end. In his younger days, he could have been Gryffindor. While he is protective of those around him, in the end, the most important thing to him is his goal.

-Patronus: Elk - One version of the symbols that elk represents is power and majesty.

-Partner: Gryffindor - (Y/N) has a very heroic set of ideals and beliefs. They fight for the weak, which is how they got themselves wrapped up with the league. What they are worried about is that the longer they stay with the LOV, the more they are beginning to question their beliefs. -Blood: Half-Blood (Father is a Muggle) -Patronus: Gazelle - Gazelles are known for their awareness and cautious personality.

💀 Dabi: Gryffindor

-Blood: Pureblood

-Explanation of House: NOW LISTEN, I know he has burned people up and has been a terrible person but there is nothing saying Gryffindors can't be bad. As Touya, he definitely would be a Gryffindor. As Dabi, he would lean toward Slytherin but he is quite daring and he is confident in himself. He wouldn't get expelled but he would run away.

-Patronus: Scorpion - Scorpions symbolize self-preservation and defense as well as sharp spitting-wit.

-Partner: Ravenclaw - (Y/N) had to take care of themselves from a very young age which left them to learn everything on their own. This led to their small obsession with information. They feel safer the more that they know, it allows them to be ready for more situations so they can protect themselves. -Blood: Unknown -Patronus: Sheep - Sheep are often seen as a sacrificial animal that can be used with no real remorse.

⏳ Overhaul: Slytherin

-Blood: Pureblood

-Explanation of House: So here we have the classic Slytherin. Yes he is evil but it is his cunning nature that puts him in Slytherin. He has an entire group working under him and knows how to negotiate as shown with Shigaraki. He would probably end up getting expelled for some experiment.

-Patronus: Cheetah - Cheetah's symbolize someone always moving forward with a set goal in mind.

-Partner: Hufflepuff - (Y/N) is very loyal to a very few amount of people, but would fight for them, until they die. They like to be around those that they trust and tend to be very timid. They are close to being in fight or flight mode at all moments as if ready for any threat. -Blood: Muggleborn -Patronus: Deer - Deer are known for their innocence and are meant to symbolize a light for others to guide them home.

🎭 Twice: Hufflepuff

-Blood: Muggleborn

-Explanation of House: Twice is shown to be fiercely loyal to the League. He is definitely the most loyal of the bunch. He also has a naturally good heart, even if his mind is a bit cracked. He hasn't gone out of his way to hurt others unless they threaten his self-made family.

-Patronus: Elephant - Elephants symbolize loyalty and commitment.

-Partner: Gryffindor - (Y/N) used to be much braver when they had their quirk. They still possess some of that bravery but there is always a small amount of nervousness and pause when it comes to making a decision. They are learning how to feel safe again with the league and are slowly regaining that confidence they used to possess. -Blood: Half-Blood (Mother is a Half-Blood) -Patronus: Robin - A robin is a symbol of growth and renewal.

🍚 Mustard: Ravenclaw

-Blood: Half-Blood (Father is a Muggle)

-Explanation of House: I like to think Mustard is actually pretty smart, especially when it comes to chemistry. Due to his own quirk, he would be interested in other chemical reactions and such which would cause him to study them when he was younger. He uses logic and intelligence when it comes to fighting.

-Patronus: -

-Partner: Slytherin - They had to grow up rather quickly which taught them that one of the only ways to live was to lie to get what you want. They do not lie to those that they get close to. They have high walls but with enough determination, one can get close to them in which they become attached to the person. (Y/N) becomes very fierce if it comes to protecting those they care about. -Blood: Muggleborn -Patronus: Chameleon - Chameleons are able to change what they are to suit the situation, ever-changing.

🔪 Himiko Toga: Hufflepuff

-Blood: Half-Blood (Father is a Muggle)

-Explanation of House: She is easily loyal to those that she cares about and she relies on her emotions heavily. While she is threatening and crazy, she is friendly in her own strange way. She can be hardworking when she wants to, oftentimes when one of her friends needs help.

-Patronus: Bat - Bats are known to symbolize good luck and rebirth.

-Partner: Gryffindor - (Y/N) is quite impulsive due to their own quirk. They are brave and self-sacrificing when it comes to those that they are close to. They have their own code that they live by, such as the one that Stain believed in. This is what puts them in Gryffindor instead of another house like Slytherin. -Blood: Half-Blood (Both Parents are Half-Blood) -Patronus: Honey Badger -(Y/N) may not be in Hufflepuff, but their Patronus is a Honey Badger. They symbol fierce loyalty and passion.

Dark Shadow and DID

Trigger warning: discussion of trauma and Disassociative Identiy Disorder (DID)

Quirks are know to act based on the mental state of the user (ie. losing control when someone is distressed) so is it possible for a quirk to develop based on the users mental state as well?

Take for example if a child is experiencing repeated trauma at a young age, is it possible for a quirk to develop to help cope with that trauma. Specifically is it possible for a quirk to develop in the same way as/along side Disasociave Identity Disorder?

Fumikage Tokoyami has a rare emitter type quirk called Dark Shadow that grants the him a shadow-like being within his body, but what makes his quirk so unique is that Dark Shadow has his own conscience. While for me it’s hard to imagine how genetic mutations alone could produce creatures both connected and disconnected to the user, I think it is possible that genetic mutations and early repeated trauma could mix to create a creature (in this case Dark Shadow) to help the user cope with their trauma and experiences the same way alters are created for people with DID.

While I don’t want to idolize DID or trauma in any way or to cast any unwanted light on fictional characters, I am hoping that someone out there can see this and think that it is empowering that Tokoyami and Dark shadow have potentially transformed their trauma into a means to protect others and to be a hero. That they could be someone who shares experiences with you and can be a role model for not letting horrible experiences control your life and to turn it into something better for yourselves and others.

Could all of class 1A defeat Endeavour if they ganged up on him? If not, who is the strongest character in the series that the combined force of 1A could beat?

For future reference, if anyone ever wants me to do fights in between characters, never ask for this many characters. It complicates things beyond belief and makes it hard for me to make a good estimate with the amount of variables present. This is not helped by the lack of set up for the fight.

As for this theoretical battle, I'm going to have put the fight in favor of Endeavor. While a lot of the heroes we have seen are specialized in fights, Endeavor's training and Quirk makes it so he has a lot of variety. Close range, long range, area of effect, even mobility with how he can fly with his Quirk. But the main reason why is because he as has much more training and practical experience when it comes to fighting other Quirk users. Endeavor has had around thirty years of experience over these kids, along with one of the highest arrest records of villains. But for the sake of this, I will go through the students and see how they stack up:

Tokoyami, Mineta, Sero, Sato, Ojiro, and Mina: These are all characters Endeavor is a hard counter against. Fire hurts Dark Shadow and "Hellfire" will likely burn through Mineta's orbs and Sero's tape. As for Sato and Ojiro, their reliance on close, physical combat will likely result in them getting incinerated. Mina is the bigger threat because of how dangerous her acid is, but I doubt she would use it to try and kill another human, and it's likely Endeavor could destroy it before it hits him.

Shoji, Koda, and Hagakure: Their recon specialization will not be helpful in a straight up fight, making it so they are at best distractions. Even with Shoji's strength, his close range reliance means he will be burned.

Tsuyu, Bakugou, and Iida: They fare a little better because of their mobility, but they are going to have to try and fight him eventually, and will need to get up close in order to land a hit.

Jiro and Aoyama: Their better range and unique fighting methods make them a little bit of a problem, with Jiro's sound and Aoyama's beam both being hard to counter. But they only have the one shot before Endeavor finds them. And I don’t think that Jiro could take him down and we all know how good Aoyama’s aim is.

Momo: Hard to say with her. She is better in support and strategizing, meaning she could pull something out to try and help. But she needs a lot set up to make it work, and I just think that Endeavor could just burn whatever she makes.

Uraraka: Her zero gravity could be useful for getting Endeavor or allies into certain positions or just get him to waste his flames with rubble. But her touch range and lack of control over her Quirk would make it hard her for to effectively attack Endeavor.

Denki: One of Endeavor’s bigger threats, seeing as Denki's lightning could either stagger or KO him. However, it's unlikely that Denki's Discs would get past on Endeavor, who would likely destroy them. This would leave Denki to either try to touch Endeavor to release his lightning, neither of which is a very good idea.

Kirishima: His armor would be pretty helpful against Endeavor's fire, but Endeavor could always turn up the heat to burn through the Kirishima's skin. And if he manages to get close, Endeavor can either fly away or just chuck Kirishima away from him. Come on, we've seen Endeavor, he lifts.

Shoto and Izuku: Two of Endeavor's biggest threats, with Izuku being smart and strong enough to try and fight around Endeavor and Shoto is an equal and opposite blaster with his ice. Again though, Midoriya relies on getting up close to fight and Endeavor will know the ins and outs of his own son's Quirk to form a solid strategy. Plus he has a powerful psychological edge over Shoto.

And if you want to say they would come up with some strategy or use teamwork to try and beat him, I just want to remind everyone of the massive gap in between Endeavor and the students in terms of power and experience. As for who the biggest target they could fight, I'm more confident with saying they could fight Kamui Woods, but that's only because they have a natural counter with Shoto and Bakugou.

(+) And didn't enjoy the first Hawks mentorship experience, but he's a good bird who will mourn. (+) Nighteye's looked like they work together, Hawks' sidekicks I feel can't handle running an agency. They always just chased after him. Or maybe I can have a hero move their agency there, or just remodel Hawks' for themselves. Now who would be a good pick? I considered Edgeshot for 0.2 seconds, but he needs to stay with the Lurkers. And if he goes, then so does everyone else. Mt. Lady would still be in a city. And with Kyushu's rising crime rate she'll get plenty of work.

(+) Which was her reasoning for her in-canon location. So I'm using that here, but in reality she did want to stick with the other two, but used that excuse to hide it XD and its very interesting to see how they handle High-End. Kamui's branches to hold up a building and catch rubble, citizens jumping into Mt. Lady's hands, but not for this fic. I can't see Edgeshot moving, Crust fits better! He's that kinda nice guy to keep a fellow hero's agency in business, and wouldn't mind moving to Kyushu.

Having Crust, who’s all about honor and empathy move to Kyuushu to help with the crime rates and then bite the bullet with the Nomu would eventually have a devastating impact in the future because they would end up losing Aizawa to the other Nomu and Decay... Man, it’s so interesting to look at how the pieces fall in such a different way if you push it minutely in a different direction.

Will you have someone doing the infiltration mission then? If yes, who will fill Hawks shoes? And if not then how does the raid come to be?

What about Endeavor? If he doesn’t end up facing the Nomu at Kyuushu, what happens to his ratings? Will they suffer?

And Best Jeanist, will he be around and kicking or do you have other plans for him?

BnHA Chapter 154: The Inevitable

Previously on BnHA: Even though the previous chapter ended with Deku arriving to punch Overhaul in the face, the majority of the chapter somehow was spent getting up to that moment which we’d already gotten up to! But finally it happened, and Aizawa, Nighteye, and Deku burst onto the scene. Nighteye gave Mirio a big ol’ hug and told him he did so good, and it was one of the few highlights of this arc, and so deserved. Deku and Aizawa went to apprehend Overhaul, but one of Overhaul’s Endless Minions woke up and used his quirk to basically paralyze Aizawa, so that Aizawa in turn was forced to blink and Overhaul was able to reactivate his own quirk. He proceeded to straight up murder his loyal right hand man and fuse their bodies together to form some kind of grotesque monstrosity, but like, it’s not even the good, interesting kind of grotesque. It’s just the same old Overhaul with some extra demon arms that’ve got big claws on ‘em, and now his mask is fused to his face like a demon bird beak as a bonus. Whatever. Nine seven chapters to go.

Today on BnHA: Overhaul revels in his new power-up and taunts Mirio a bit, mostly just to make sure everyone knows that his quirk is gone for good. Nighteye tells Deku to take Mirio and Eri and get them to safety while he holds Overhaul off. He thinks about everything he taught Mirio and how strong he became and how proud he is of him, and that all he wants to do right now is protect him and Eri. As Deku hauls Mirio and Eri away from the carnage, the narration starts talking about how Nighteye spent so much time desperately trying to change the futures he saw, but that it never worked no matter what he did. In spite of this, and in spite of knowing that his actions are merely “drawing out the inevitable”, he continues to fight Overhaul until he is brutally impaled on some more spikes. Enraged, Deku turns back, leaving Eri with Mirio, and activates One for All at 20%.

(As always, all comments not marked with an ETA are my unspoiled reactions from my first readthrough of this chapter. I’ve read up through chapter 185 now, so any ETAs will reflect that. Posting this a few hours early since I won’t be able to later this evening.)

fun fact, Fallen Angels/Jaimini’s Box doesn’t have this chapter translated on their site. in fact they don’t have any chapters translated from 154 all the way until 167. I can only assume they were getting as sick of this shit as I am. can’t even blame them for bailing

Their Hero Academia – Chapter 16: Tensei Iida Has No Idea What He’s Doing

Tensei Iida looked himself over in the mirror and hoped that what he saw was good enough. He wore a white t-shirt that was right across his muscular frame, specially tailored in the back to accommodate his Jetpack, paired with a pair of blue jeans. He’d pulled his pink, tubular hair back into a tight ponytail. Simple, but effective enough, he supposed. Not that he was sure he could tell.

Considering it was the fifth outfit he’d tried on for his date with Takuma Sero, he really hoped he was making the right choices.

He turned to his friends, for their opinion. Like his sister’s room, his was mostly cluttered with works in progress and blueprints, things he could work on without access to a larger workshop. Most were half or more finished, but the allure of new ideas, not to mention the joint projects with his sister, kept everything in a state of near completion. That, however, left very little space in his room for other people. Sora was perched on the bed, while Toshi Midoriya leaned back against the wall. He had offered Izumi Todoroki the one chair that was not covered with other things, while Chihiro Kaminari and Asuka Tokoyami both sat on the floor.

“How do I look?” he asked.

Toshi gave him a thumbs’ up. “Looking sharp, Tensei!”

“It is… a little tight?” Izumi said.

“A necessity,” he said. “Fitting around my Jetpack requires additional tightness in another areas.”

“And it shows off your muscles!” Kaminari piped in.

Asuka gave her a curious look. “Why exactly are you here, Kaminari? You just walked in and sat down.”

Kaminari’s Extension Cords bobbed up and down in the approximation of a shrug. “I’m a sucker for a dress-up montage,” she said. “Besides, I’m bored and Mika’s sulking.”

“Is she okay?” Toshi asked. Mika Mineta may have been… a bit much, but they were still all friends to some degree or another.

Kaminari laughed. “She’ll be fine. She’s just pouting because Iida here is, and I quote, “off the market and eating from one of the same menus as me.’”

“She did not know my orientation before now?” Tensei asked. “I did not believe I had made any secret of it.”

“She did not,” Kaminari confirmed. “Of course, neither did I. You don’t exactly talk about your preferences like that. Even when Mika and me were making plans to seduce you and your sister, I figured I maybe had a chance. Of course, I was mostly humoring her…”

She gestured at Tensei, pointing at his abs. “But I figured it was worth a shot. Gave up after the first day, though. Got bored.”

“You were what?” Sora gasped.

Tensei pinched the bridge of his nose. “I should be more surprised at this. But given the large swath of previous data points, I am not.”

“Wait,” Sora said. “Go back to the part where Mineta was planning to seduce me?”

“She tries to seduce everyone,” Kaminari said. “It’s kind of her thing. Except me, Kirishima-Bakugo, Todoroki, and Sero. And now you, Iida, I guess.”

“Good to see she has some boundaries,” Asuka said.

“Hold on a moment,” Izumi said, holding up a pale hand. “I understand not trying to seduce you, her friend. And I understand not trying to seduce Tensei or Sero. And I know that Katsumi has threatened her enough to at least make her back off with regards to attempting to seduce her. But why am I on the “do not seduce list’?”

Kaminari gave her a look that Tensei could not entirely identify. “Please never say ‘seduce’ again, Todoroki. That just sounds weird when you say it.”

“Nevertheless, you did not answer my question.”

The electric blonde looked guiltily around the room. “I refuse to answer on the grounds that Kirishima-Bakugo will explode my head.”

“She threatened you?” Toshi asked.

Kaminari nodded rapidly.

Toshi sighed. “Of course she did.”

“Always looking out for me,” Izumi mused, a small smile pulling at her lips.

As usual, it was Asuka who pulled them back on track. “When are you and Sero leaving for your date?” she asked.

“I am meeting him downstairs in,” Tensei began, checking his watch, “five minutes ago!”

His heart seized up in his chest and he bolted from his room towards the stairs. Behind him, he could hear his friends calling out and wishing him good luck.

It was the first date of his life. He was going to need it.

“Okay, he probably just got distracted, maybe doing blueprints or something,” Sero said to himself, as he paced in the Common Room. “He hasn’t bailed on you. You still got this. It’s only been six minutes. Seven. It’s only been seven minutes.”

“Sero!” Tensei called out, as he burst out of the stairway. “My apologies! I lost track of time preparing for this date!”

Relief washed over the pink boy’s face. He was wearing a loud, Hawaiian print shirt, which was garish and clashed with his pink skin, and dark pants and boots. His dark hair had been slightly spiked. Tensei did not know much about the ways of dating, but he did know what he liked, and he liked what he saw.

“Iida!” Sero said. “It’s all right, sorry, I was just kind of freaking out. It’s been a while since I’ve been on a date and I was making myself kind of nuts there.”

Of course Sero had been on many dates before. Who could not help but fall for the cute, pink-skinned, dark-eyed young man? Even if he did not always understand the purposes of Sero’s antics with Sato and Ojiro, the enthusiasm he brought to everything was contagious.

But Tensei? Tensei admitted he did not always understand the expected social conventions. He was much more at home with machines than people, or in the presence of likeminded individuals like his sister, mother, and father. These were things and people he could understand and predict. Having a clearly defined rules helped as well, something his father excelled at, even if his Uncle Tensei occasionally referred to him as being “too tightly wound.” Clear rules helped define your responses and also allowed a clear opportunity for the necessity of invention, when you spotted the loopholes between them.

“Again, my apologies,” he said. “I was having difficulty deciding what to wear.”

“Well, you look good,” Sero said, giving him a thumb’s up.

“And you are certainly…” Tensei hesitated, trying to think of the best word, “interestingly dressed.”

Sero laughed at that. “Dude. You can say I’m an eyesore. That’s the point. Show of the colors, make people notice you. First rule of entertainment.”

“If you say so,” he said. “I am not very “with it,” as people say.”

“No one says “with it” anymore, Iida,” Sero said. “But that’s all right. I’m “with it” enough for both of us. And speaking of entertainment…” He pulled his phone from his pocket. “Selfie with me?”

“Ah… sure?” Tensei said. If that was something that was “with it,” then he could do that.

“Awesome, thanks.” Sero stood next to him and put one arm around him (and didn’t that make him flush!), holding out the phone with the other. “Smile!” he said, as he pushed the camera button. The phone made a shutter sound and Sero released him (too soon!), checking the picture.

He showed the picture to Tensei. “Perfect,” he said. “Definitely making that my new lock screen.”

Dinner was a quick bite, purchased from a “"Noodle Noodle, Come Get Your Noodle" cart, run by a man whose Quirk manifested in the form of a little blue goblin, probably somewhat similar to Tokoyami’s Frog-Shadow. Sero had insisted on paying, in spite of his protest that he pay his own share. They found a bench to sit on while they people watched. All around, people were walking, while the air could be seen to be full of people flying, and even the “speed quirk” lane next to the sidewalk had quite a few people in it. The small relaxation of the laws on public Quirk use since their parents’ generation had opened up a lot of travel possibilities, among other things.

“I asked you, out” Sero said, slurping noodles. “You can get next time.”

That was certainly an optimistic proclamation! But Tensei nodded. “That seems fair,” he said.

Tensei was bad at small talk, he knew, but Sero seemed quite able to fill the silences. “You know,” Sero said, “when I asked you out, I wasn’t sure if you’d say yes. I wasn’t even sure you were into guys.”

That seemed to be a common statement. “I have made no secret of it,” he said. “But I admit, I have not exactly broadcast it either. Perhaps I should have.”

Sero shook his head. “Nah, it’s all right, dude. Everybody’s different. Besides, what’s life without a little risk?”

“Precisely!” Tensei agreed. “There is something to be said for venturing into the unknown, pushing boundaries, never knowing whether you might be met with success or an explosion! All part of the learning process!”

Sero tilted his head. “I… don’t think we’re talking about the same kind of risk, dude. But I still get it.”

“Possibly not,” he said. “I may have something of a unique definitely of acceptable risk. Father is always warning my mother, my sister, and me about the dangers of our experiments and projects. Sensei Power Loader does too, for that matter. I think they are overreacting. We always manage to put the fires out before they spread.”

“Uh…huh.” More noodles disappeared into Sero’s mouth. “Worst my dad gets up to is wearing socks with sandals. Mom tries so hard to make him be cool, but he just doesn’t get it.”

“That is… a sartorially incorrect choice?” Granted, the times when a person would wear both were probably limited, but it was not something he had enough data on to make a determination on.

Sero laughed. “Oh, dude. Funny.” He stopped when he saw the confusion on Tensei’s face. “Oh, wait. You’re serious. …Ah, sorry.”

He looked so forlorn that Tensei could not help but forgive him immediately. “Do not worry about it.”

“Okay, if you say so,” Sero said. “But yeah, major fashion error. It’s even worse when he combines it with cargo shorts. If they’re going anywhere together, Mom doesn’t let him leave unless she pre-approves his outfit.”

“That seems harsh.”

“Trust me, dude. He deserves it.”

“I will take your word for it.” Tensei smiled. “Father sometimes attempts to exert control over Mother’s choices like that as well, usually when he feels she is not eating or sleeping enough.”

“Is she?”

“That,” he said, “is an interesting question with many variables to the answer, including statistical averages for humans, which admittedly have been highly skewed due to the wide variety of Quirks…”

“I’m gonna take that as a “maybe” and not ask any more questions. About that, anyway. I have plenty more questions.”

“I am happy to answer any I can. Provided I am also allowed to ask questions.” Tensei certainly wanted to know more about the handsome pink boy. True, all of the children of the former Class 1-A knew each other to some extent, but there were also small if somewhat variable cliques within that group, just as there had been with their parents. His and Sero’s had not been especially close, so they were not as close as he was to, say, Izumi or Toshi. Granted, Toshi was probably a bad example, as he was close to almost everyone.

Probably for the best, however. It gave him an exciting and new set of possibilities, with plenty of uncertainties. A brand new venture into the unknown.

“Sure, dude,” Sero agreed. He finished the last of his noodles. “You ‘bout done, though? I’ve got so much I wanna show you at the arcade.”

Tensei popped the last of the noodles into his mouth and nodded. “I am ready!”

Sera helped him sit down on a chair in the arcade’s small café, easing him down gently. “I am okay,” Tensei said. “I just… need a minute… for the room to stop spinning…”

“Dude,” Sero said. “I am so sorry! I just figured that with how you zip around,” he made various motions through the air with his hands, “that the virtual roller coaster wouldn’t be a big deal.”

Truthfully, Tensei had not expected to react so poorly to it either. He had often pushed his body to the limits, flying through the air. While he was best at traveling in a straight line, he could execute rapid turns when he had to, even barrel rolls and loop de loops. As he grew, so too would his Jetpack, enabling him to execute even more precise maneuvers. So a virtual roller coaster should have been nothing more than a bit of excitement and a chance to tightly hold hands with the boy that he liked.

It had not worked out that way.

Instead, he had felt overwhelmed almost immediately after the first hill and drop, letting out a sharp scream. He was also pretty certain he had squeezed Sero’s hand painfully tight. He had emerged from the VR pod disoriented and dizzy, ready to drop. He was just grateful he had not thrown up. Tensei was pretty sure that throwing up in front of or on your date was a very good way not to get a second date. And he very much wanted a second date.

Nevertheless, it was still quite embarrassing.

Tensei shook his head. “It is not your fault. I had no statistical framework to in which to predict that that would happen.”

“If you say so…” Sero said, though he sounded uncertain. Tensei wished there was more he could do to reassure him.

Fortunately, Tensei’s recovery was rather quick. “Perhaps something… a little less intense?”

Sero brighted, his dark eyes sparkling with the light of an idea. He snapped his fingers. “I know just the thing.”

Sero’s eyes had been growing steadily wider. “How,” he asked, “are you so good at this?”

Carefully and with the utmost previous, Tensei maneuvered the claw with the joystick, dropping it only when he was absolutely certain it was in the right place. He might not have had his mother’s Quirk, but his vision was very good and years of working with precision tools in his mother’s workshops had given him a very deft hand indeed. It dropped, easily snaring the Froppy plushie and depositing it in the hole. Tensei fished the plushie of the prize slot and handed it to Sero, whose arms were already quite full with plushies of Tentacole, Tailman, Lemillion, Phantom Thief, Chargebolt, Pinky, and Cellophane.

“Compared to setting microcircuitry,” Tensei told him, “this is quite easy.” He rubbed his chin thoughtfully. “Though perhaps that makes it a bit unfair, both to the arcade and anyone else who would want to try.”

“Ah… maybe?” Sero said, with a small shrug, struggling not to drop the plushies in his arms. Tesei reached out and took a few of them from him, then they started walking out of the arcade.

“Can I keep some of these? I kind of want to taunt Mom with the one of her. She’s never been happy with it. She thinks it makes her look fat. She’s made it her mission to find as many of them as she can and dissolve them in her acid.”

“Keep as many as you like,” he said. “The skill challenge is reward enough.”

“Really? You sure, dude?” Tensei nodded in response. “Well, thanks. Baby sis will love these, especially.”

“Ah, that is right,” Tensei said, “you have several younger sibling, don’t you?”

Sero nodded. “Yeah, three brothers, one baby sister. Mom likes to say Dad’s just that irresistible, but she only does that when she wants to see us squirm.”

Tensei wasn’t sure he followed all that, but he decided it wasn’t worth questioning. “That seems like it would make for a very crowded household.”

Another nod. “You have no idea, dude. The dorms are the rest time I’ve had my own room in years.”

“Sora and I shared a room for many years,” Tensei told him. “Until we were about twelve. After that, it a modicum of privacy became necessary. Not that either of us slept there more than forty-percent of the time. Usually we slept on cots in the workshop. Or simply fell asleep over a workbench.” Not something their father had been especially happy about, but he had his ways of navigating around it.

“Man,” Sero said, “I could not do that. I am a sleep-a-holic”

“A waste of perfectly good time that could be better spent working,” he replied.

Sero made a face, putting a hand to his chest. “That was painful, dude. Absolutely painful. Never say the word “work” around me again.”

Tensei had a general feeling he was joking, so he smiled. “As you wish.”

Tensei had walked Sero back to his room, which was as unusually decorated as Sero was dressed. The walls were covered in what he would have called leopard print, except that the prints were all bright pink instead of a golden-yellow, and there were multiple lava lamps. From what he could determine, the bed appeared to be a waterbed, which must have been quite the feat to get inside. His desk had been set up with multiple monitors and multiple webcams, obviously to further his efforts to become an internet sensation. Not a goal Tensei understood, but Sero certainly seemed devoted to it. They dropped the plushies in a corner.

Sero seemed much more uncertain than Tensei could ever recall seeing him, save perhaps for when he had asked him on this date. He was usually brimming with confidence and showmanship.

Sero rubbed the back of his head, nervousness radiating off him. “So, I, ah, I had a good time tonight, Iida.” He smiled and Tensei could see that it reached his eyes.

Tensei smiled, and he realized that his own heartrate was quite elevated. “As did I, Sero.”

“I, ah, don’t suppose you’d like to do this again some time? Maybe go see a movie or something?”

Tensei was aware he was given to a certain amount of impulsive behavior, but in this case, he already knew the answer. “Absolutely.”

“Great!” Sero said, perhaps a little louder than he intended. “I mean, great. And, ah, you know, if you, ah, really wanted to… you could call me Takuma. Since we’re, you know, dating. If, ah, that’s what we’re doing.”

Tensei realized that Sero—Takuma—was very adorable when he was nervous. He was vaguely aware that he and his sister could make other people nervous. Toshi had gently reminded them of this from time to time. But this seemed to be very different from those scenarios. He had never made anyone nervous like this before; he found it somehow flattering.

“I believe that is what we can call this,” he said. “So, please, if you wish, you may call me Tensei.”

“Tensei it is,” Takuma said. “I’ll, ah, see you tomorrow?”

“Tomorrow,” Tensei agreed. “Good night, Takuma.”

“G’night, Tensei.”

He left and started to head back to his room. And for the moment, Tensei was feeling pretty good about life in general. He had successfully completed one date and now he had another. He was officially “dating.” He knew his sister would be expecting a full account of the evening, but for once in his life, he did not care about analyzing results or accumulating date. He was happy just the way things were.

Sketches of the Month: October!

Hello once again everyone! It’s the end of the month, meaning Halloween is finished and it is now Christmas for 2 months XD But before we get to the arts I have 2 things to say:

1. Yeah, I kinda failed to do SonicTober past day 2, so that’s a thing that happened. I really need to work on my commitment I guess XD

2. Boku no Hero Academia came into my life this month, so overall I feel like this was possibly a lazier month than others??? Maybe I just feel like that because there isn’t a lot of digital art this month?… Not sure XD

But with those things out of the way, onto the art!

1 & 2: SonicTober Day 1 & 2!

So I did at least do the first 2 days of SonicTober, those days being ‘Super’ and 'Love’. I decided to do Tails’ super form since I’ve always loved his Flicky Army of Death! XD And while my first thought was to do Sonic and Tails’ brotherly love, I decided to switch to the beloved female duo of Amy and Cream for a change! I was in a bit of an art block for a lot of this month, but I still think these pieces came out well under that circumstance.

3: Sonic and Cream Cuteness!

Ok, so I found this amazing artist called @sp-rings who did these adorable sketches of these two in dapper clothing, so I decided to combine them together! Mainly because Sonic and Cream’s relationship is minimal but has the potential to be really sweet! It was a lot of fun to experiment with the colours and shading style too!

4: AND SO IT BEGAN!

Not the name of the pic, but reference to the rest of the pics being exclusively Boku no Hero related! XD This pic specifically was drawn not even a week in with me creating my own character who had a unique quirk and hero persona! I think it was symbolic of the further obsession I would spiral down into XD

But on a serious note, designing my own hero was SO MUCH FUN! My quirk is called Brainchild, and what it does is whenever I draw something in the air with my finger and I’m imagining it in my head, I will then create it! The main downside is that repeated use of it in a short span of time results in intense migraines that render you useless in a hero’s shoes.

5 & 6: Just some random sketches!

Just as the title says, this was just some stuff I drew while I was still in school before Halloween! What can I say other than Midoriya and Tsuyu are just so precious??? Midoriya is dorky and sweet with a genuine heart, and Tsuyu is level-headed and calm while still being adorable! There’s a reason I actually created a side-blog for bnha now @adorkable-deku XD

7: My Discord Friends!

Soooo, me and my Discord friends got together to see what characters we were most like, and that has resulted in me drawing them now! I have 3 more to go, but I have these 4 already done! We have me as Midoriya (which honestly made me really happy??!!), @cosmio as Uraraka, @kellodoggo as Tokoyami, and @crispyjuicebox as Ashido! Next month I’ll also include @sssssssinbad as Yaoyorozu, @creator-cia as Jirou, and… @sariaizza as Mineta XDDD

8: Some practice!

I technically drew this today, but I’m still counting it here! I really love bnha’s art style, and it was something that drew me to the anime other than the great reception it got! So I tried doing the official art style and kind of comparing with me art style? I don’t think I’ve drawn the characters enough in my style to have them drawn to my liking, but I was just experimenting a bit! Also, bonus drawing of me giving a hug to Shinsou because he is a determined and genuine boy that I support fully on his journey to become a hero!

And that is everything for the month of October! (Mostly) Geez, I’m always tired by the time I type all of this out XD Granted, I woke up much earlier that normal today for no real reason, so maybe I just need to sort out my sleep schedule! XD

1: What part of the anime/manga piqued your interest? Like, what did I see that made me want to watch it? TBH I don't know! I guess it was All Might lol. I just saw that a bunch of people on my dashboard were talking about it and about him and I was like "Okay, I'll watch it." (A few people IRL had reccommended it to me before but I was like 'eh'.)

2: Did you think Midoriya would be a good protagonist in the first few chapters/episodes? Answered before. I think the gist of it was that I thought he was gonna be fine, I just didn't know if the story was gonna be any good.

3: How do you think Midoriya’s conflict with Bakugou will end? Honestly I think it'll turn out fine. I mean, I think that they'll repair their friendship (if you can even call it that). I think Izuku has to stop focusing on Bakugou and Bakugo has to start respecting Izuku. I think it'll happen just fine as they grow into themselves. I would be surprised if they didn't repair their relationship, just based on common shounen tropes.

4: What was your first reaction to Bakugou’s treatment towards Midoriya? First reaction? Hmm, let me see if I can remember. I guess I didn't think about it much because I wasn't sure he was going to be an important character. But when I realized he was... I guess I was just surprised that Izuku put up with it all that time. Of course it could be because of his lack of confidence, but I guess I see it more as him having faith in Kacchan actually being worth maintaining a friendship with, despite the bullying? He's too sweet for his own good ^^;;

5: What do you think of All-Might as a hero? Pfft, well he's great, obviously! Isn't that like... the one thing you're supposed to know when you start the series? "The sky is blue. All Might is great." He's a good guy. He does what he can and he does it well.

6: Do you think that Midoriya deserved to get OFA? Of course. He's clever and determined and passionate and kind. Who else would have been that appropriate?

7: Aside from Midoriya, which character in the series do you think has had the most character development? I'm gonna SKIP this one, since I'm still only a lowly Season 2 graduate. I haven't seen enough change in any of the characters to say.

8: Favorite unpopular character? Honestly? Mineta. I know everyone hates him, but I like him for the same reasons. Yes, he's dumb and sleazy, but I think he acts as a sort of balance, and it's good to have a character that occupies peoples' soft-hatred but isn't a villain. Not every 'good guy' is unproblematic, and I think he has the greatest capacity for growth because he's starting so low on the likeability chart. XD

9: Favorite overall character? I mean, that's an easy tie between Izuku and All Might. Obviously. If I had to pick someone else though... Tsuyu. She's precious. Or Ochaco. She's also precious. Or Iida, who is (surprise) also damn precious.

10: Do you have any OC’s? Describe them! If you don’t, create one on the spot. Create one? Yeesh. Uh. Okay, I'll port some original OCs over. Addisson: chivalrous lesbian hero, dresses like a knight. She conjures 'light-weapony' (or other items; made of light/air/whatever, they function as intended until she lets go of them. Only for melee weapons though, not projectiles unfortunately.)

Pink: What are your main/favorite ships? As surprises nobody: Dekumight, for sure. But side ships? Erasermic, and anything involving Ochaco. (Roughly in order: Ocha/Iida, Ocha/Bakugo, Ocha/anyone else. Oh! Never seen it before, but how about Ochaco/Gunhead?!)

Blue: Do you have any NOTPs? By principal, no. I don't do NOTPs. But if you're asking which ships I just don't really like or don't really get, the winner would have to be TodoDeku. It's very popular? but it just doesn't pique my interest at all.

Yellow: Favorite fanfiction about your OTP? Ooh man, it's only on chapter 2 ATM but @thenightisdarkandfullofbooty’s "Fettered" is really really great so far! Other than that, I don't generally recc explicit fics, but Motte-Gwappo and Jabor pretty well cornered the market with good E-rated oneshots.

Green: Any preferred rarepairs? Ahah yeah, I main a rarepair. And from what I understand, pretty much everything that doesn't include Todoroki or Bakugou is a rarepair, so... uh huh.

Purple: Do you have any works centered around your OTP? HELL YEAH. Anyone who's reading this probably knows. I've got 11 posted Dekumight fics so far, and *counts* 4? WIPs? and... uh... roughly 30+ more ideas? *sweats*

Orange: Fluff or Angst? Good lord I love both, but if you're gonna angst me, PLEASE give me a happy ending.

Red: What do you like the most about your favorite ship? Aaaaaaahhh gosh. Everything. *sighs dreamily* Did you see me the other day, comparing them to freaking Christian worship music? Gawd. They have SUCH a great dynamic, and it's one that has a lot of potential for shifting in various ways too. I guess what I really love most about them is how genuinely devoted to each other they are. Shipped or not, they really love each other! It's so wonderful. =]

Turqoise: What do you hate about your favorite ship? Alright now this is silly question. Why have an OTP if you don't just adore every fiber of their being? In the case of Dekumight, despite what I think a lot of other people would think, I don't even hate the things that make it a controversial pairing. I don't hate that Izuku is underage, and that there's a fairly massive age gap between them, and that there's a 'power imbalance' between them, because that all adds to their dynamic. It makes them very interesting. I don't wish that Izuku was older. I mean, I've written that fic, and I think they're still interesting together, but honestly, the fact that they at least met when Izuku was young is pretty important to their dynamic and-- *goes on forever and ever* ADDENDUM: One thing I do hate is that the majority of the fandom can't (or isn't interested in even trying to) see how goshdarn much sense the ship makes.

Lavender: Does your ship get a lot of hate? If so, why? Hahahaha yes. I don't pay a lot of attention to the fandom at large, but I'm fairly certain it's the most hated ship in the fandom? And it's the only ship I've ever gotten hate over! (Wonderful. Wish I'd get more. It'd be a good outlet for my blabbering haha) I understand /why/ it gets hate though. It's underage. It's frequently read as a father-son relationship. Oh, and it interferes with other popular ships, of course.

Grey: Realistically speaking, will your ship ever become canon? I guess there's a remote chance. Like, top of Mt. Everest remote. haha wouldn't that just fuck with people. Naw, look, I'm fully accepting of the fact that there are at least 5 other drastically-more-likely options, which are, in approximate order of likeliness: 1. Izuku/Ochaco, 2. Izuku/nobody, 3.Izuku/another girl, 4.Izuku/Bakugou, 5.Izuku/another guy. I give Dekumight a .01% chance haha and I think that's a liberal estimate. XD; BUT! I would be more than happy for there to be at least a throwaway line somewhere about Izuku having (or having had) a crush on All Might at some point, and I give that a very generous 5% chance of happening haha.

13: Dadmight or Dadzawa? Porque no los dos? But my ship dictates I vote Dadzawa. Honestly though, they could both BE dads; there's no one way to be a dad. All Might makes me think a little more of an uncle. Aizawa strikes me as more dad-like from my own experience, but they're both supportive in their different ways. I know, let's be contrarian and say "DadMic" =P HE'S the one that reminds me of several of my allo-dads.

14: Whose quirk do you think is the most unique? I think I said Tokoyami when I answered this before. I can't think of a better answer right now, so let's just go with that again.

15: Aside from Midoriya, who do you think has the most potential to be #1 Hero? I guess Todoroki.

16: Should Mineta be replaced by Shinsou in the hero class? Porque no los dos? If you get rid of Mineta, there's gotta be someone else for everyone to hate. Just shove another desk in there and have them both. Make them share, I dunno.

17: Favorite student(s) outside of Class 1-A? Hatsume Mei!

18: Any HCs for the entirety of Class 1-A? Headcanons for the whole class? Is that a thing? I guess I HC that they all genuinely love Izuku and are encouraged by his attitude. =]

19: Do you remember their seating arrangement by heart? lol heck no. I think I have an idea of where a few of the characters sit? But honestly, I blasted through the series once and haven't looked back on it yet, so I haven't had time for memorization.

20: Which of the students do you think has the most potential to become a villain? Gosh. Any of them could. I mean, being a villain instead of a hero is so based on circumstance. If things go wrong, any of them could go that way.

Strawberry: Who is your favorite pro-hero? Uh... Hmm.... Predictable answer: All Might. Less predictable answer: Best Jeanist, because his fucking outfit drives me nuts and I hate it so much I like it.

Banana: Which of the pro-heroes’ quirks fascinates you the most? Eh. I dunno. I guess I'm not really 'fascinated' by anyone's abilities. ^^; I just like them as whole characters.

Cherry: Should Endeavor die like right now Nah. He's important, even if we hate him. In fact, that might be part of why he's important. You can't love every 'protagonist'.

Pear: What was your reaction to Todoroki’s backstory? I... didn't have a strong reaction. I'm not a huge fan of Todoroki to begin with. I mean, I felt bad for him, of course, but I guess I wasn't surprised or anything, so it was like, "oh. huh. poor kid." I'm more interested in what happens next.

Kiwi: Should the BNHA girls get more spotlight/recognition? Of course! They're all great.

Pineapple: What do you like the most about BNHA, as a whole? Well, I guess what I like is the characters! That pretty usual, for any story I get involved in. But of course I love superheroes, so there's that! But I do also like the feeling of the whole story, how it's inspirational but also with a looming bleakness, you know?

Watermelon: Dub or Sub? Sub sub sub all the way. Gotta watch it in its original form, whatever that is. I LOVE their original Japanese voices. I accidentally heard a tiny snippet of it in English and I regret it haha.

Coconut: How do you think Hokiroshi is doing, in terms of the plot? Well I'm not caught up so it's a bit hard for me to say, but I think it's going well so far. I'm still interested.

Blueberry: What makes BNHA unique from all the other shonen animes/mangas out there? I'm not sure. I think it's in the small details. I mean, I'm not sure it really IS unique from other anime, any more than they're all unique from each other. TBH I feel like it actually take quite a few elements from other popular series and puts them together in an effective way.
