My less popular opinion (and what I believe to be implied by the art in Lost Days) is that rather than waking up in a fully grown body Jason didn’t actually complete his puberty until after his Lazarus pit dip while he was on his murder tour. Imagine you’re tied up in a basement in Berlin getting interrogated by a teenager and his voice is cracking the entire time and if you laugh he’s going to shoot you
#Late puberty Jason truthers rise#Egon calling up Talia like ‘did you send me a middle schooler what is this’. ‘He’s technically high school aged actually’#he would’ve been like 18 when he finally regained consciousness but the way he’s drawn could easily be mistaken for 15#I know people love the body dysmorphia angst of Jason waking up big but I offer you this: Jason wakes up looking basically the same to a#world that has moved on without him and is unrecognizable. His death/injuries stunted him he existed for years in a state of suspension#while the world passed him by. He was on pause while everyone kept moving on and he didn’t get unpaused until the Lazarus pit and he has#to scramble to catch up. He’s actually 18 but the last thing he remembers is being 15 and his body reflects this state#and then once his mind is finally back online puberty hits him like a truck. Just look at the difference between how Jason is drawn#immediately after his dip in the Lazarus pit vs the end of lost days when his training arc is over#It implies it could’ve been multiple years but in order to fit with the timeline of other comics I personally don’t think it#would’ve been that long. I think he just sprouted up like a weed#Jason Todd#dc#I think Jason is technically still growing by the time he’s red hood. ok and when osamu gives atsumu the keys to his house and asks him to set up the surprise he has prepared for your anniversary . he's prepared for his twin to ask for some kind of payment, to gag at his love life and call him gross, but atsumu agrees easily and asks what he needs.
(he doesn't get out that easily—atsumu keeps texting questions and making fun of osamu's choice of home decor. but when everything's said and done, atsumu wishes osamu good luck and says to make sure you're happy) (he waits a day or two before holding it over osamu's head and asking for free onigiri) (he asks osamu to do the same for him a few months later)

I still think I was onto something when I said that Kim's fixation on the revolutionary air brigades felt kind of like a kid with glasses really wanting to be a firefighter and then learning that you can't be a firefighter if you don't have natural 20/20 visiom because the heat would melt plastic or cause burns from metal frames and contacts weren't a safe choice either. It feels a lot like that. He wanted to work on those aerostatics but couldn't because of his eyesight

I grew up in the community surrounded by people who#really poured their hearts and souls into their stuff and were sooo so kind to me#the art and writing communities were super tight and I actually am still in touch with many of them#including the man the myth the legend jason weight o7 you could have saved RvB if they kept you on for s18 king#like I still remember the day saltsanford sent me like. a 4 ask long text wall screaming about my lyric comic while I was in line at ax#nearly fainted#ahh my lyric comic….I still have it up on ur channel. before my dad passed away he would always show me when it hit a new milestone in view#old art is always kind of embarsssing and tbh I think my interpretations of the characters made me well known much more than my art skill#but after high school my life kind of. fell apart in a lot of ways. dad dying was def a part of that 💀 and I think I found orv exactly at#the time I needed it. but looking back at my old RvB stuff is kind of like#a little time capsule ig. I was happier then but I’ve grown up a lot too

every day i struggle to make choices
#i should invest into some kind of education but cant make up my mind#mostly because options suck#i cant do trades unless my body sucks less which is sad because id love to be an electrician#cant even think about getting a pilots license cuz im not passing the med cert#i think id rather die than be a med assistant actually#working clinics at all makes me nervous tbh but probably where im headed in the short term#surgical tech would be cool but i cant do a Real program while working full-time#which is what limits most of my choices#i need to find more paid training programs i guess#if i had to pick a miserable but fulfilling job id go into education itself#but the teaching profession has always been in a downward spiral esp as of late#i dont want healthcare because i hate seeing dysfunctional glorified murder machines grinding around and around endlessly#acute care sucks id rather be in an icu for function but then im depressed because our patients are always dying#it was better as a phleb but this hospital doesnt have phleb and like i said im nervous about clinics#but i need to fucking commit to outpatient phlebotomy i think :/#the most fun ive had at a job ever#i wish i had more widely applicable skills but i cant be an emt/para even just for the training#because half of it is unpaid and the other half you pay for#and again#a job NOTORIOUS for being exhausting dangerous and traumatizing#if i was 17 again and wasnt escaping the tar pit of my mother id go for an english degree and i wouldnt even regret it#thinking about school in terms of a job i have to have forever vs for the sake of learning is so different#id like to know everything. i wanna read and write forever. and do research and have real technical skills that help people#im still riding off of the high of getting 5 ccs off of an oncology patient who desperately needed a port#they were able to run like seven tests off of it#i had to use a couple ped tubes#she only had to get poked Once and barely noticed it bc the doc team came in and im so happy i made her admission that muvh easier#labs are so miserable#checking back on the blood and seeing all of the results came through made me more pleased than anything else in the world

your friend engagement post reminds one of my friends (she's an year older than me but still) is also planning to get engaged by end of this month or so and it felt weird like we were 15 yesterday it feels so wrong in my head she's a baby why is she thinking about marriage (to be fair the guy is super rich and they'll have an year time to officially confirm if they actually want to get married) but it feels so wrong in my head win😭😭
i was talking to aki on literally this matter in morning and she kept saying my friend is a baby whys she getting married and i know we are too young but i was sort of expecting it since she comes from an islamic family and a couple other friends got married right after school im not new to this 😭
#its still very young for me but i really believe it depends on the kind of environment one grew in and got to learn everything around#vaise to 21 is pretty big age but you're still learning its only unfair like her getting an older age husband while she just finished her ug#how do you feel like i think i have to learn so much before everything happens but mom says there are people who prefer to marry#while they learn together with other person and its still right i don't know i haven't thought#but your friend getting a year to make a decision about marriage is still a very good choice#one of my batchmates failed in 9th standard and she was married off even before we passed out from high school 😭#i thought shes being tortured smth but she wrote “honeymooning in bali” i died lmao
