I do!!! Letters, numbers, and words all have colours and sometimes visual textures for me-- and while numbers and letters on their own are generally only a single colour (7 is a bright, grassy green!!! while "K" is a pale peachy pink, for example :] ), when i put them into words they often take on entirely new colours, some of which even bleed into each other like watercolour paints. Ironically, its why i use the UK spelling of "colour" in the first place-- the "u" turns what looks like a dull, desaturated blue into a smeared blue-and-purple that i find really pretty to look at :]] so when i say i like to paint with words, i kinda mean that literally 😂😂😂😂😂

But yeah, i'd imagine thats why my writing is Like That™ to some degree-- a lot of what im doing behind the scenes involves matching the colours and visual textures of a given word with all of the others in order to evoke a particular vibe or image in my writing. There are a lot of layers to how i write, but this is probably the one that takes both the most time AND is the one i happen to talk about the least WKDJWKSJEJ

#shouting speaks #asks #discovered the word ''halation'' yesterday as well which is a dark burnt orange at the beginning of the word that bleeds into periwinkle #on the back end #which was like. perfect for what i wanted in the scene #since a lot of the words AROUND it are various shades of browns oranges reds and creams #i think the colours i see the most of are purples greens and oranges tbh. p much every word with a Q and U in it has a shot of purple #if not taken over by it entirely #for those curious A is blue B is red C is a darker green #i made a chart once with hex codes to show what i see to other ppl but i have ZERO clue where it is now #the other funny thing ive noticed is that when numbers combine their individual colours stay the same #they dont blend like letters in words do #75 is green and magenta respectively the same way 7 and 5 are #36 is yellow and orange same as 3 and 6 when separated #its funny but helps me remember stuff quick im like REALLY good at remembering like. card numbers and license plates bc of it #txt

#deltarune #asks #drawings #asgore #spade #king of spades #spade king #asgore dreemurr #spadesgore #technically #king spade #no one asked but i want to elaborate #asgore describes colours in pairs not just because it might be the only colour theory he knows #but because thats also how he generally just sees. people and their traits #as if everything needs something to compliment #hence why he feels so out of place and useless to himself when hes not married/in a relationship #the way he describes yellow and purple are a good way to describe him and toriel in undertale #royal colours that are tied to hope but they only shine when theyre constracted against the grim tragedy that shaped them #with blue and orange it kind of describes sans and papyrus especially with how their comedic timing works #like when youre alone with sans in mtt resort the tone is a LOT more somber - colder #but when papyrus is by himself hes all jumpy and shit and he hardly seems as down to earth as he does with sans around #and red and green imo are the most important in analysing asgore specifically bc his weapon is red #but his shirt colour in post pacifist and deltarune is pink - literally a softer version of the cruelty we KNOW hes capable of #he describes it as just sort of -fitting- with the greenery he surrounds himself with and i think that mostly has to do with what he WANTS #all the plants and the greenery are ALIVE but almost toxic. meanwhile someone else most prominantly associated with red is rudy #the guys whole gimmick is having a bright red nose #its like asgore surrounds himself with the colour that would compliment the person he wants #or literally wearing their colours a la him and toriel having the same shade of blue on in undertale #and spade? hes just emo. he likes black because its a lack of colour - a lack of light #the reason he works as a good parallel to asgore in this sense is because he breaks asgores dychotamy and forces his own

victim is a ghost, chosen's dressed up as freedom guy, dark found a cape he made while planning the virabot stuff and is a dramatic spider, second's a pumpkin, red is a cat, green is hatsune miku, blue is a witch, yellow is a robot, purple's a luna moth, and king is a king (he didn't have the time to think of anything else)

Quick and rough Plumeria redesign, mostly just cause...... I gotta do what comes naturally to me, man. Give me some Shapes. Simplify that design or so help me.

I don't have a lot of complex thoughts about it, actually! Just the idea of having a "sexy" outfit that draws the eyes to certain parts of the body -- while simultaneously being modest and Sharp. Having an edge to it. Also!!!! The luna moth inspired wings!!! I wanted to stay within her og color palette, but I've also always thought luna moth wings would suit her... the top wing is vaguely heart shaped, too!
