I think when it comes to EPIC it should be noted that I don’t hate Odysseus, I just think this fandom likes to demonize his two friends (Polites and Eurylochus) too much to the point I defend them more than their captain who the fandom refuses to see he has made his own mistakes.

Also I would like to point out that yes, y’all have been assholes because I’ve seen a few people over on Twitter state how it’s almost not fun to post content of a character like Eurylochus anymore without getting some downright nasty ass comments. Y’all refuse to behave normally and it’s so fucking weird.

oh wow. me ranting about how i dont enjoy dol as much anymore really blew up. uh.

hiiii. just wanted to get this one out of the way. i think hate is a very strong word - not the term i would use to describe my current feelings towards dol - but since it's been interpreted that way...

i think the canon being so 'set in stone' is what has made me dislike it so much. i miss early game dol, where everyone in the fandom was brainstorming possible backstories for all of the characters and potential interactions the characters could have with one another. and now, well, those characters are interacting with eachother but i just can't find it within myself to care ? i don't know if it's a writing issue, or a me issue, but i just don't enjoy it anymore.

again, hate is not the vibe i was trying to exude. it was literally just me voicing my frustrations about the game's current state and how i don't like it anymore.

but yeah. even though the game is still ongoing and has time to grow and develop - i think that people should still be able to criticise it's content. criticism/general disinterest shouldn't be labelled as hate :/

just (as in since 2pm. its now 9) deep cleaned the ladies tank. cleaned the pee off their platforms and bridges. and then i cleaned out the aquarium completely bc the last fish finally died and it was starting to stink so so bad.

#i feel bad bc she was nearly 10 years old and shes a tetra #but like goddan i did not intend to have her for ten years #the others only recently died too #like yeesh #and all the plants i had growing in there were nasty and dying #had to cut the monstera in two bc its way too long and had way too many root bundles #oh and i also got a little bridge for the girls! tractor supply was selling wood perch bridges for chickens and i was like #that looks EXACTLY like a high quality mouse toy #so i grabbed that shit #and clove is able to climb it!!!! i got it just for her actually #shes too fat to pull herself up or to balance on the rope so this is to help her get enrichment and exercise #while being more sturdy
