Robin chose Steve. Robin made the conscious and deliberate decision that she could and would trust Steve. She already liked him! She had fun working and bantering with him! They were already on their way to being weird little bffs and the torture just expedited the process. Steve chose Robin just the same! He thinks she's fun and cool and likes her so much! He chose to be honest and open with her too, putting himself out there.

Even though their interests on the surface level don't match why wouldn't they share them? Steve clearly caves when Robin wants to watch a movie he doesn't think he'll like, Robin can watch a March madness game or five.

I don't think people seem to understand that they could've given up. We know fox was blocking bisexual Buck and that probably means they were blocking buddie, so they could've given up. Buddie is a love story. Their devotion to each other is canon. There isn't anything the show can do that's gonna convince me they don't love each other. But they could've given up at any point. Backed off, actually give any other love interest a fighting chance, double down on them being best friends and not make it bigger. They choose not to. They kept adding to this love story as best as they could. They are best friends. They are partners. They are family. They would die for each other but they also have fun together. They have one braincell they keep pingponging between them. They love each other. That's a fact. That will always be a fact. They are each other's person. And now we are at a place where that can be explicitly explored. It's a slowburn. It's a network slowburn. The desire to rip your hair out comes with it but it makes the moment they finally get their shit together that much sweeter. We're getting there. Somehow y'all had more hope when all we had to go on was a couch. Buck is actually queer now. This time last year Buck and Eddie were getting a comphet ending. Now one of them is actually queer. We're gonna get there, but they are not just gonna trip into a relationship because they are too careful with buddie as a friendship to not address the issues and make things natural before getting them together because everyone involved in this madness knows what they have in their hands. They know once they get buddie together it's forever, they're not gonna rush into it now they have actual room to play.

why it is that when people are writing a fic for a certain character they add tags for different characters. Like if it’s a fic for Tom riddle x reader, they add tags for Malloy x reader or Harry x reader, EVEN X OC. SOMETIMES EVEN CHARACTERS THAT ARENT EVEN IN THE SAME SHOW/MOVIE/COMIC.

Also, if it’s a poly fic, you shouldn’t be adding regular tags like the ones I said earlier. You should only be adding ones like this for example:

Poly!maruaders x reader OR Remus x Sirius x James x reader.

NOT!!! Each character with the reader or oc.

Adding other characters in this way in the tags, from what I’ve seen, was never a thing until around just last year.

LIKE YALL PLEASE STOP ADDING TAGS THAT ARENT PART OF THAT SPECIFIC FIC.

Zoro cares about his crew so much, he considers himself their protecter. It’s why he sleeps like three hours a day, it’s why hes always wary of strangers. He really fucking loves and cares about his crew.

He wouldn’t say it because that’s not in his nature, it would be out of character (and frankly bad writing) to have zoro look into the camera and go “I love my crew”

Instead he shows it; he takes the graveyard shift, he takes one of the stronger enemies, he trains and trains, plays the role of boogeyman.

It’s in the way the rest of the crew behaves aswell!! They’re silly and weird and reckless because they KNOW and UNDERSTAND that zoro is right there, ready and eager to kick some ass or spill some blood.

Zoro would not have killed Sanji at whole cake, nor would he just kill any straw hat is asked. He isn’t some thoughtless machine who does what he’s told. He fucking loves his crew, and yes that fucking includes sanji.

My hot take is that Odin is the worst character in Ragnarok and the quest for Tyr was the real drag in the game and did nothing to really provide anything other than labor for the gamer/Atreus to see how “far he’ll go” with his curiosities. Everyone else fits their roles properly except him. He’s presented in a very cartoonish way and even dresses like such. Baldur and Heimdall are FAR better antagonists

(i hope this goes without saying that literally headcanon what you want: i'm criticizing the people who talk shit and can't accept other's people's headcanons. that's who i think is boring and annoying. there's complexity in Mizu's character in a lot of ways. I really cannot see how this headcanon is erasing any part of her identity. Please do feel free to correct me on this.)

I feel like ppl who hate on ppl who hc mizu as genderfluid are 1) boring, and 2) annoying. But most of all, they always use that dialogue between her n mikio, where she says she had to be one to enact her revenge.

Mizu is a person who is in an extremely sexist country, also being targeted for being mixed. In a way, being a boy was necessary. I also think that Mizu has found some comfort in being a man, in living like one. He prefers, in some ways, how a man is treated and is very comfortable being one not only out of necessity, but also because he likes it.

Now, just because he likes being a man, doesn't mean she also doesn't love being a woman. During the mikio arc, we all saw she was comfortable being a woman, she liked some parts of it even: being someone who deserves protection, who doesn't know how to throw a knife or fight for her life, who takes care of horses n cooks not just for herself; for her, being a woman means not doing what she has to as a man, which is fight for herself and enact revenge and live alone n all that.

At the same time, they're not totally a woman, nor a man. Because Mizu is not only about their gender, either man or woman: Mizu is a person who revels in both being masculine n feminine, but if they had the choice they would be both. They're part of both worlds (male n female) of edo Japan, and just as much as both worlds bring them immense amounts of pain, there's also a great deal of euphoria that they both give Mizu, and a mix of both is what gives them total peace.

I always think abt how effortlessly Mizu fought with mikio, since she was completely unrestrained and free there: both of her worlds were colliding and she fought in a way we dont rly see any other time in the series. Not only cuz she wasn't wearing her binder, but because all of her truth was revealed at the time, n she didn't have to hide any part of her then.

So yh anyways. Mizu genderfluid. And bisexual. And polyamorous.

These arguments against Bolas because of popularity are such bullshit

Soulfire could have had the same viewer base if they discussed that logging on consistently around the same time was needed. Especially since Rivers, Mariana and Missa were on the team, like they are massive hispanic creators if they logged on more they would have loads of viewers too. Later they also had Forever, Bagi and Quackity who are big creators.

They also had every opportunity to cultivate an aesthetic which could have came from their name, but nope. They didn’t have anything that signified them except going on about the cursed team. Having a team aesthetic is something that inspires the fans to create, the aesthetic makes for inspiration, rule one of marketing. Why do you think Sports teams have mascots and signature signs or colours??

Bolas members cultivated an aesthetic, sacrificed their own time to log on as a team which they discussed would be important for them if they wanted to win(which also resulted in Baghera and Phil sabotaging their sleep by being up at 5am(and also brought them more viewer because watching teams is more enjoyable in that circumstance then people on their own)).

Also most importantly Bolas prioritised fun over everything, they never wanted to get sweaty because it took away from being fun and actually wanting to play. Watching them was like watching a group of friends start a new minecraft server. Which is why they had a lot of fans. Just because people enjoyed that more then what Soulfire had doesn’t make them wrong or mean that people don’t care for soulfire.

All this just means Bolas fans were passionate about their team because they genuinely enjoyed the event(as well in most chats majority of the chatters don’t liveblog or create any fan content at all, so they’re gonna be chatting about their team to show support). If you want your team to be shown be as passionate about it as the bolas fans and show that Soulfire had a good time and were fun to watch. Like you’ve given up before it’s even actually been shown.
