Art isn’t always about what it looks like but about what it feels like and the emotional journey that the artist took to create that

in situations when I see those videos I want to tell them about Eddie Redmayne who did his art history thesis (12k) about this colour blue with a black border. That’s all it was. But it wasn’t just about the colour itself but it was about the fact that it was a unique shade of blue and it was the first time it was used. I find that absolutely beautiful.

(also, for those who didn’t know, Eddie is colourblind and couldn’t actually see the colour itself but picked it because it looked pretty to him which only proves my point further)
