Rengoku-san was so, so close to cutting off Akaza's head, yet Akaza still felt more terror about dawn.
#i'm just#sitting with this#Akaza was stunned by Rengoku's strength yes#but he's seen a lot of Hashira who were ultimate unable to overpower a demon#Rengoku was already clearly dying at that point if he stayed human#Akaza was more worked up about that than his own peril initially#Rengoku was so strong and yet#AND YET#it just goes to show how overwhelming outmatched humans are by nature of being humans#but Rengoku chose this#for him it wasn't about winning and proving his own strength#like what might have motivated easily disheartened Rengoku ancestors#it was about not letting that demon harm anyone else there#hence why Tanjiro dying would have truly meant Rengoku's loss#but despite his hard earned victory#Akaza felt no fear of him#not really#humans just aren't the sun#and this is why the 12 Kizuki are always so stunned when they are defeated#BUT MUZAN DIDN'T TRULY KNOW FEAR UNTIL YORIICHI ANYWAY which goes to show how far a league of his own lonely Yoriichi was#my head is in my hands#things that happen when Mugen Ressha music goes through your head during the work day#rengoku kyojuro#rengoku kyoujurou#akaza

I realize that I'm very very late to this party, but I finally caught up with Bluey season 3........Brandy has skyrocketed to most relatable character by a country mile

#eye strain#cw eye strain#tw eye strain#ralsei#deltarune#i'm in a new era of my art style where i just outline everything in white pencil and think it looks cool#every time i add them i do a victory nod twice at my computer like an old man who just hit par in golf#anyway bright colors hi - i noticed that i tend to default to neutral colors and stay as far away from hues as possible#when i first started digital art i saw someone say to NEVER use the upper right of the HSV picker and i guess i took that to heart#in retrospect that was bad advice; dull colors are safe... but they're still dull and it's good to practice using bright colors too#so here's a hard pivot in the complete opposite direction of my normal work haha#it was fun! but i did have to use a few correction tools to un-muddy my colors so i think i'm gonna do this one more time#you might think the caption is cool and ominous but really i stole it from temmie village#rich history of tem provides plenty of quotable sentences#also! i think i want to reblog my work onto my alt a day after it's posted#i haven't decided for sure but am thinking about it... if you think that'd cause too much clutter though lmk!
