You and Bokuto are early to arriving at the beach, being the first one's there. Both of you wanted to stake out the best spot so you could set up the volleyball net. Bokuto was very insistent on it being in the perfect spot, making sure it far enough from the water and designated the seating area of the group. His focus about the whole thing made you laugh, you had never seen him so serious before. The guy even brought a rake to keep the area clean of anything that could injure anyone.

Once everyone arrives and unpacks their belongings, he’s eager to start a game. He chooses you as his partner and you are ecstatic. Together you dominate the sandy court with a mix of your amazing serves and his powerful spikes. After every point made, Bokuto can’t help but cheer loudly in triumph. His excitement rubbing off on others, making everyone smile.

After claiming victory, Bokuto pulls you up onto his shoulders, parading around the beach while chanting, “We are the champions!” His enthusiasm so infectious that onlookers start to clap and cheer for you.

Not surprisingly, Bokuto still has a lot of energy after the intense game so he suggests going swimming. He races you to the water; he lets you get ahead, and before you know it, you're swept off your feet and gently tackled into the waves. You laugh as you splash each other playfully. He challenges you to various water games, like who can hold their breath the longest or swim the fastest. Despite his competitive nature, he has very good sportsmanship. He will always cheer for you, regardless of who wins.

After playing in the water, you decide you want to relax and tan, while Bokuto gets in another game of volleyball. With every move he makes, his chiseled muscles glisten in the sun. You'd watch him play all day if you could.

After his match, he joins you on a beach blanket, taking a break to enjoy some fruit and cold drinks. The small talk between the both of you is enjoyable, talking about anything and everything you could think of.

As the sunset approaches, all the boys take initiative to get the bonfire going. Each person takes a seat on the logs surrounding the fire, taking turns roasting hot dogs and marshmallows, sharing funny stories about each other. Bokuto's laughter was joyful and loud, you couldn't help but smile at the sound.

When stars began to show up in the night sky, Bokuto and you excuse yourselves to take a walk down the beach. He reaches over and intertwines his fingers with yours, “I’ve had such an amazing time with you, today. You make everything so much more fun.. and I, um,” he pauses, his hand squeezes yours, “… I think I’m falling for you.” “I think I am too, Kou,” you give him a firm kiss, more than a peck but not too intense.

After his confession, you both head back to your spot and lay down on a blanket, gazing up at the stars. He pulls you closer to him, releasing a sigh of contentment. He couldn’t be happier to be surrounded by you and his friends on this wonderful, beachy day.

・❥・Kuroo Tetsurō ・❥・

When you get to the beach, Kuroo is eager and extremely prepared to get everything set up. He’s got a big canopy to sit under, a foldable table for the food, those reclining camping chairs, he’s got everything. Kuroo even brought multiple outdoor games like badminton, ladder ball, spikeball, and cornhole. He is prepared.

This man is so ready for the beach that he even brought water balloons. You didn’t even see him packing them so you were surprised when he pulled out a cooler full of them. “No, you didn’t,” you smiled as you started to grab some and back away. “Yes, I did.” He and you ran around the beach laughing, trying your best to hit each other with the colorful balloons.

After you won the war, you both sat at the table under the canopy, fixing up a plate of premade sandwiches and snacks. As you ate, you two discussed what your plans after eating were, with random conversation mixed in.

Kuroo suggests going for a walk along the shore to collect seashells. You each find some unique shells but the majority are common. Kuroo playfully pretends to find a super unique one, only to reveal another one of the common shells. You roll your eyes but still laugh at his antics.

Later, you go and swim by yourself to cool off, while Kuroo prepares to prank you. He digs a shallow hole in the sand, covering it with a towel. He lures you over, suggesting to sit with him. When you step on the towel, you sink into the hole as Kuroo laughs. He quickly gets up to help you out and apologizes, a mischievous smile on his face.

When sunset comes, Kuroo is already on top of making the fire. You expected to have to scavenge the beach for wood but, again, that man is prepared. He brought a whole case of those premade firelogs so you wouldn’t have to worry.

Kuroo looks at you, his usual playful demeanor turning serious, his features softly lit by the fire. He takes your hand with his, “Y/N, I know I joke a lot, but I want you to know I really care about you. Today was amazing because I got to share the day with you.” He hesitates a moment before leaning over to give you a soft kiss

Night arrives with beautiful stars shining in the sky. You and Kuroo lie on a blanket, gazing up at the stars. Kuroo points at various star clusters, naming them and sharing facts about each one. His passion and knowledge for the subject captivated you. You admired the smarty-pants side of his personality.

There is nothing Kuroo loves more than coming home to you after a long day of work. There is something indescribable about the feeling he gets when he walks the final steps from his car to the front door, only to see that the light is on. He won’t come home to a dark emptiness, instead he will be greeted with your cheerful voice from the kitchen, pans and utensils clattering, the sound mixing with whichever melodies you have put on in the background. 

If he’s lucky, you won’t even have heard the door open, and he gets to see you dancing along to the music, singing along to the tunes and swaying your hips, leaning over your furnace slightly to check if everything is processing the way you would like. He’d stand in the doorway for a bit, a smile on his face as he loosens his tie and untucks his shirt. He’ll never be able to describe the feeling he gets when he watches you like that, his heart somersaulting, unable to contain all the love he feels for you. 

He usually coughs or makes some other sound, so he doesn’t startle you by calling out your name from the doorframe. The last thing he wants is for you to get a jumpscare while handling hot items on the stove.

His knees grow weak just a little when you turn around to face him, your face lighting up the minute you spot him. How he wishes he could just capture that fraction of a second and burn it into his brain, an image he never wants to forget or take for granted. 

You turn off the heat as you turn away from the task at hand, walking over to him to give him a kiss. His hand finds its place on your side, where it lingers, the kiss never just a short peck. There’s a reason you turn the stove off before you turn to him. 

“Welcome home.” 

Those simple words have such a profound meaning for him, because that’s what it is. Here, holding you, that’s where his home is. It’s wherever you are, wherever he can breathe in your scent and hear your soft giggles as he playfully peppers the softest kisses to the exposed skin of your neck. Home is his favorite place to be.

warning for slight spoilers?? (i mention scenes but i dont say anything about who won or stuff like that lmfao) and also caps lock lmfao

aight. HINATA BEING TERRIFIED THAT KAGEYAMA WAS GONNA STOP SETTING FOR HIM. JUST LIKE HE SAID WHEN THEY FIRST MET. CAUSE HINATA WASN'T BEING NECESSARY TO WIN. AND HINATA TRYING SO HARD AND BEING NOT ONLY FRUSTRATED THAT IT WASN'T ENOUGH, BUT ALSO SCARED THAT IF KAGEYAMA SAW HE WASN'T USEFUL. HE'D LOSE INTEREST IN HIM AND STOP SETTING FOR HIM. nekoma cutting off Hinata's wings not only to stop him from flying, but to make kageyama stop helping him fly.

and kageyama sees that. realizes that hinata isn't being useful to him or the team. AND HE FINDS A WAY TO SET FOR HIM ANYWAY.

he sees Hinata can't get up on his own and everything is telling him to drop him- the most reasonable & rational thing would be to stop setting for him. and y'know what kageyama does? HE TELLS HIM "GO AHEAD, FLY"

HE SETS FOR HIM ANYWAY and finds a way to make him fly even higher. WHICH IS SO DKSBSKSJSJSKS IDEK HOW TO DESCRIBE IT. like not only does that tell hinata that no matter how much people try to stop him, kageyama will help him fly anyway- but it also speaks about kageyama A LOT. cause there wasn't a strategic reason to keep trying to use hinata- in fact, he could've used nekoma's focus on him on their favor and instead set for other players.

BUT NO, he chose to keep setting for hinata. because at that point it wasn't just about winning, for kageyama. yknow how important is that? kageyama, who only ever cared about winning, thought setting for hinata was more important to him than winning.

IF THAT DOESNT SAY A LOT ABOUT HIS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT IDK WHAT WOULD

also??? kenma feeling like shit about doing that to hinata?? EVEN THOUGH HE CAME UP WITH THE IDEA. kenhina bffs they're so adorable wtf.

yeah those r my main thoughts. overall a very good movie, perhaps the pacing could've been a bit more intense/nerve-wrecking for my liking? like i wasnt so "in it" as i was with many matches in the anime. still, i think it had a bit more of a focus on relationships and background stories and character development, specially through flashbacks, symbolism & but impactful quotes, so it's still chefs kiss. very much recommend watching it if u haven't.

[kageyama] is the type of person who doesn’t show affection that much (i think we all know that) but tries his best to make you feel loved and special even though he can be a meanie sometimes.

"get ready. we’re going out in an hour." kageyama suddenly announces while you were watching tv. "huh? aren’t we going to stay in for v day?" you asked, confused. you always stay in for every valentines you guys celebrated together for the past few years. he shrugged, "just wanted to try something new." and he dipped, heading to your room while shouting to you about how you really should get ready because apparently "you take too long to get ready" (shocker really). note the sarcasm.

you just bit your lip to hide your grin, because let’s be real, kageyama’s doing all this just for you this valentines.

after getting ready, you get into kageyama’s car as he drives both of you to god-knows-where because you really have no idea. "so where are we really going, babe? did you plan a surprise for me?" you tease him, slightly poking his arm. "s-shut up! staying in is boring now. we’ve been doing it ever since." you smiled cheekily because he’s still denying it even if his face is all red from either embarrassment or shyness. "creep," he gave you a disgusted look, but you just smiled at him. "you still love me though?"

"y-you’re so annoying." it’s his love language y’all

you arrive at your destination with kageyama opening the door for you. it was a fancy looking restaurant. a waiter came up to you both asking if you had a reservation and kageyama nodded, saying that it was for him. the waiter led you guys to a table and you thanked him.

“tobio..” you looked around, observing how fancy and elegant the ambiance and setting was before looking at him. “this is so nice, i really love it.” you gave him a pout, making him raise an eyebrow. “what?”

“i didn’t know you were romantic like this. i don’t even have anything to give you cuz you said we were staying in.” you coninued, “happy valentines, babe.” you added, not wanting to piss him off too much (he won’t really cuz it’s you).

“yeah. happy valentines, brat.”

[oikawa] “babe!” you heard your boyfriend shout from outside as you hurriedly made your way to him, shouting a quick “coming!”. you made sure to lock the door, fixing your dress and hair while walking towards oikawa who was waiting by the car.

“damn,” you hear him say, making you look up at him. “what?” you replied and he shrugged, trying to look innocent as he tried to keep the smug grin of his. “nice ass, babe- ow!” he bursted into laughter as you smacked his arm. “toru!” you glared at him as he slid his hands around your waist, pulling you closer to him.

“it’s true, though.” oikawa winked before giving you a kiss. you gasped when you felt his hands squeeze your ass. “i swear-“ he cut you off with another kiss, patting your bum before opening the car door for you. “your ass- i mean you look really good. can’t help it.” he stated as you sat in the passenger seat with a blush on your face.

oikawa drove to the beach since you both decided to celebrate there this year and skip all the fancy and typical valentines traditions. you jumped off the car and helped him carry a few things for your beach picnic date.

both of you stayed there ‘til the sunset, taking a bunch of pictures together and snacking on some of the foods you brought while oikawa’s head was resting on your lap. he got up, excusing himself that he was going to the bathroom while you wait.

but since oikawa’s well … oikawa, he surprised you with a boquet of red flowers and chocolates when he came back. tapping you by the shoulders, you looked up to see who it was and your eyes widened with shock when you saw his surprise. “oh my god, toru!” you squealed, jumping up to hug him.

“happy valentines, love.”

[kuroo] “does this look like a heart to you?” you asked him as he looked at the tray on the countertop. “that looks like a peach babe.” you pouted, and kuroo chuckled.

“here, let me try to do one.” you handed him the piping bag, watching while he carefully tried to shape one into a heart. “that’s actually better than mine.” you admitted, “of course, i am the best after all.” he joked and you rolled your eyes at him. “why don’t you do that and i’ll take care of the ganache?”

you didn’t even wait for his answer and just tiptoed to give him a quick peck before turning away from him to make the chocolate ganache for the macarons. “not so fast, sweetheart.” you squealed when he pulled you back to face him. “you think you can just order me around, hm?”

you raised an eyebrow, “why not- ahh! tetsurou!” you burst into laughter when he attacked you with tickles. “sto- ahahaha!” you tried wriggling out of his arms but he won’t budge. he finally stopped, still caging you in his arms. “you are a brat, you know that?” you shrugged playfully, leaning forward so that your noses would touch together.

“i know, i love you too.” you smacked his chest, “shut up!” kuroo let out a laugh, pulling your chin up to give you a kiss. your arms wrapped around the back of his neck while his stayed on your waist. you moaned when he bit your bottom lip before pulling away with a smirk.

“you are such a tease.” you whined. “let’s call it quits, eh?”

[bokuto] “yesss!” both of you shouted when the last ball got in one of the baskets, gaining attention from people who were near you. “what prize would you guys like?” the guy asked, and bokuto let you pick as you chose the medium sized owl stuffed toy.

“really, babe?” your boyfriend groaned, and you smiled. “what? he looks like you!” you hugged the owl tightly, “i’m gonna think of you now whenever i see this.” your cheeks were squished against it and the sight was making bokuto melt. he pulled his phone out and took a quick picture of you, “you’re so cute.”

“hey, not fair! i probably look ugly in that,” you pouted, but he just pinched your cheek. “you always look good. in every position— i mean angle.” you blushed at his words, “oh my god, lower your voice!”

“just saying facts.” he winked, “do you wanna go eat before continuing with the rest of the rides?” you nod since you were feeling a bit hungry from all the walking and rides that you guys did.

you guys lined up to buy food and the person at the cashier was an old lady. “what can i get for you two love birds?” both of you smiled at her, and bokuto ordered for the both of you. “alright it’ll be 45.50 for your total. enjoy the rest of your night.” you lightly bowed at her for her sweetness. “i suggest riding the ferris wheel at night. it’s more romantic that way.” she winked at you guys and you blushed.

“we sure will, ma’am.” bokuto gave her a smile before politely walking away with your hand in his. “we definitely will be saving that for last.”

[nishinoya] “noya!” you whined, pouting when you felt the icing touch your nose. you took a bit of icing from the cake before quickly swiping it across his cheeks when he wasn’t looking.

he was taken by surprise and you couldn’t help but laugh at his reaction. you took your film camera out of your pocket and snapped a picture of him. “we should take a picture together!” nishinoya stealed the camera from your hand before pulling you in to take a picture.

“i wasn’t ready!” you complained, but he just smiled. “i’m sure you’ll look pretty in it no matter what.”

the park was strangely quiet and empty considering it was valentines. you thought there would be more couples today, but noya said it’s better since you have the park all to yourselves which you agree with.

“that means..” he mumbled, slowly walking towards you before pulling you close to his face. “we get to do whatever we want.” he winked, your foreheads touching together.

he didn’t even give you the chance to reply because his lips were already capturing yours. “no one will see us.” he whispered, and you lightly smacked him on the chest because of his brazenness.

[ushijima] you were staring out the open window, feeling the cold breeze across your face as your favorite songs plays from the radio. you looked back to see wakatoshi smiling while focusing on the road.

you sat back down, facing towards him. “what’s got you so smiley today? that’s rare.” you joked, making him clear his throat and avoid eye contact. “nothing, i was just..” you hummed, asking for him to continue. “..can you not look at me like that, please?”

“like what? i’m not even doing anything,” you teased, making him let out a scoff before laughing with you. wakatoshi looked briefly at you before looking back at the road as one hand stayed on the steering wheel while the other made its way to yours, intertwining your fingers together.“it’s nothing. you just looked so pretty staring out the window like that.”

he placed a kiss on your knuckles and you couldn’t help but bite your lip so you wouldn’t lose yourself from feeling too giddy about your boyfriend acting so sweet.

“we’re almost there, do you need to get something from the gas station? there’s one nearby.” you shook your head, humming no.

as you reached your destination, the cars and roads disappeared and the only thing left to see was the desert landscapes and the trees surrounding it. it was only afternoon so the sun was still very visible.

wakatoshi parked near a cliff so you can see the breathtaking view of nature from above. both of you got out of the car and was immediately welcomed by the fresh air. you walked over to him, before wrapping your arms around his torso.

“it’s so nice, thank you for bringing me here.” wakatoshi smiled, “of course, anything for my girl.”

Haikyu headcanons: cuddling with them

Characters: oikawa, kuroo, Sugawara and tsukki.

Oikawa

BIG SPOON. He would munch on your cheeks, leaving tons of little kisses. Both of you talking for hours about random shits and telling dumb joke y'all come up with on the spot, doing that for hours. He would tickle the back of your neck with his nose, then snuggle in it like he didn't do anything. Oikawa is one of the sweetest boyfriend, he is pretty clingy and be ready to cuddle him for hours while working. He is shameless tho he will gladly burry his face in your chest. He definitely tangles your hair.

Kuro tetsuro

He would lay on your chest after pratice, snuggling in your boobas or neck. He give me lovebites and hickeys vibes while cuddling, but he would also munch on your cheeks. I feel like the cuddle would go with him sliding his head in between your arms while your playing on your phone. You would rest your hand on his back while playing, not minding his affection but he would always leave unexpected kisses over your whole face at really random times. These alway tickle and you end up bursting out laughing, that was a melodious sound to the ears of kuroo.

Sugawara

Cuddles with sugawara are pretty chill, you two would tangle your legs together while he press tenderly your head on his chest or neck. He would gently massage the back of your scalp, you could fall asleep, new talent of sugawara discovered; massages. But sometimes when you guys are cuddling while on a chair, so basically when he studying you would be comfortably installed on his lap. Your arms wrapped around his shoulder, head buried in his neck while humming his scent. Most of your cuddling session were either a complete comfortable silence, or it was you rambling about your days and pouting over small things. But when you were fast asleep on his lap, he would never dare wake you up, he would only enjoy the cute little thing on his lap and sometime slightly rock you. Sweetest boy peace out my heart 🥰

Tsukishima kei

It would be you begging him until he gives in. But when he cuddling with you, he's legit more implicated than you are. You would be comfortable on his chest, your hand behind his head, messaging his scalp lightly while he would massage your back. He was so good at it you could fall asleep, it was amazing. Tsukki would probably scroll on his phone while massaging your back with one hand. It was alway in a comfortable silence or you were talking about your day in a low and sleepy voice. He sometimes told you about his, his voice was alway calm and posed. He almost never looked at you, little did you know when you would fall asleep he would just stare at your cute face and occasionally leave forehead kisses. Once he dropped his phone on your face, you lifted your face and your face was just adorable, eyes barely adorable with a very sleepy expression. He swore a cupid just aimed an arrow straight to his heart. Being the tsundere he is he would never tell you that.

I finally watched the Dumpster Battle and I have so many feelings but Osamu really summed it up.

(spoilers alert)

Beyond the joy of watching an amazing Haikyu match after so long (sooo long 😩), I couldn't help but feel a strong yearning for more after the movie ended. Hq always makes me feel hungry... So it makes sense in a way that I ended up wanting more. But this time, it's different. It's intentional.

Kenma as a protagonist was an interesting choice made by the creators and I have mixed feelings about it. For one, I adore Kenma and I enjoyed seeing his backstory, his friendship with Kuroo, his strategy and feelings about Hinata, everything that gave an insight on him was fascinating to watch. I especially liked his pov shot and his pain of caging Shoyou, of feeling miserable at the inevitable end of everything he enjoys. I think that resonated the most with me. I feel the same about Haikyu ending slowly. (It has ended but you get it, right?)

On the other hand, it felt really limiting. The pacing of the movie was too fast, everything happened at 2x speed, there was no time to process the match at all. It's a bit ironic since in the last match with Inarizaki, that's literally the cause of their downfall.

Was it fast because that's how Kenma experienced it? Or was it because 1 hour 25 minutes was not enough to show everything? [It's not enough ik. This movie could easily have been a season with at least 10 episodes. :(( But I'm grateful for the movie, nonetheless.<3]

We don't see much character interaction, Karasuno's strategy, the coaches and how the players are feeling, what they're thinking, audience or really much of anyone tbh. As someone who especially enjoys these low moments in Haikyu, the ones that makes it distinct from other sports anime, I felt that the movie underdelivered in that camaraderie.

In art, it's often said to keep the specular light to minimal. That's the only way for it to be noticeable. Like in studio ghibli movies, the deliberate slowness makes the action that much more impactful. The light stands out!

The entire match was fantastic to the point that everything blended together and nothing stood out too much. I felt a strange dissonance throughout the movie, hoping for a big moment as is typical of hq matches, and not finding any.

Again, is that because Kenma didn't focus on that or is it the pacing and the time restraint?

There were so many things that I loved about it though. Animation, camera angles, OST, voice acting, and sound effects really made it seem like you were playing with the characters. It's a big shift from the almost omniscient perspective we get of looking in to the match and into the player interactions and mindset. It was exciting for sure, I couldn't take my eyes off the screen (literally because you'd miss something if you do... It's that fast). Hinata's frustration and pain, his silence, reflection and conclusion, and Kageyama stepping up to open up a path for him... I just wanted to give them a hug.

With Kenma and Hinata so lost in the moment and not realising the match ending, it came as a surprise to the viewer too when it did. I think it was genius, we ended up feeling exactly how they did. But it also felt anticlimactic. Which again is what they intended.

"hm? what is it handsome..." you utter softly, noticing his gentle tone. you feel a warm presence beside you. wrapped around your arm, was oikawa looking back at what seemed to be another group of fangirls. you giggle, and take your goodbye's with the friend you were talking to. "my fans might bite your arm off!!" "oikawa, don't be silly. the most they could do is throw me a cookie." "YEAH BUT STILL!!! its a COOKIE!!" you smiled to yourself, imagining a girl throwing a cookie at you and just landing on the floor. "i think i'll be okay." you take notice as he becomes the slightest bit more protective, dipping his hand into the palm of yours and looking back at you, chocolate eyes softened.

oikawa had just finished another game, and you'd usually wait for him to have his little small talk with his fangirls. you didn't really have a problem with it, you could trust him enough. he likes to think you know him better than he does, because you always know or can easily provide what he needs most at times! he really appreciates your trust but oftens questions if he's really doing the right thing. what if him talking to his fangirls made you think you weren't showing enough love to him? and that he valued his fangirls over you? or volleyball? or that girl that dumped him back in highschool because he was too absorbed in volleyb- "bae. are you good??" you raise an eyebrow with a smirk. ⤷ (timeskip!? i think hehe) finally!! a break from volleyball. who knew THE oikawa tooru would be saying that? the brunette thinks to himself. an argentinian, professional volleyball player. saying that, at his vacay in new york city, with the love of his life. but, its not time to be thinking hard right now. to get the most immaculate and full experience of NYC, was obviously booking first class plane tickets, on the dates that peaked in illuminating the refreshing season of NYC's autumn. there is no volley game in the entire world he would ever trade for this ethereal moment, walking down the streets of new york's bustling hustle, hand in hand, matching diamond rings clinking together. a warm, beige plaid scarf enveloping the both of you. "don't want us getting chilly, huh?" he says, wrapping the scarf around you both.

keiji akaashi ; the adults are talking - the strokes

always lets you win board or card games. situations where he's literally bound to win, he will NOT let you lose. he just wants to see you smile. might hide one of your letters in bananagram, grab an extra card in uno, easy bargain-er in monopoly, adding a piece back on the chess board... if he isn't akaashi ion want him 😊

⤷ it's a late night at the coffee table, akaashi has just finished his shower to sit down for a game of chess with a cup of tea. he could clearly read how slightly more excited you've been to sit down and relax with your fiancé after a long week. he found it the sweetest thing on earth, and he'd never trade it for the world. he loved to see you smile, so why not make you smile now? he thought, hiding his grin through the tension between his fingertips and his king he was about to sacrifice.

"keiji." "yes, love?" "you are very silly." you whisper and lightly giggle, moving your bishop to gently kill your fiancé's king, winning the game. an unconscious, pearly smile plays onto your lips (only he could see, despite the numerous times he's reassured her that it's quite charming).

there's truly nothing he'd want to see more than that.

⤷ his thumb gently rubs your knuckle as you walk down the bustling late night city street, lights of restaurants and streetlamps illuminate all of his features. the bridge of his nose, the dark gunmetal green of his eyes, and the apple of his cheekbones. every single feature that shaped the beautiful boy who had put the ring on your finger. tying your laces, putting your jewellery on, and keeping up with the infamous sidewalk rule. little habits he's built since high school, not because he is expected to do so, but because it all comes naturally when it comes to you.

till suddenly, you feel a squeeze on your warm hand, signalling the usual. the switch of places on the concrete. you instinctually react, akaashi discreetly walking on the side near the moving cars. the little things that aren't so little for you, but the little sparks that keep the warmness in your heart kindled.

atsumu miya ; boyfriend (with social house) - ariana grande, social house

always steals your flippin' last bite. it's so annoying, he knows it, and likes it. while you're not looking, he WILL the last bite of your food or a sip of your favourite drink.

⤷ after a long day at work for you, and a long day of training for atsumu, you both comfortably sit in silence at onigiri miya. the faint noises of clutter and cleaning fill the silence, along with boyfriend by ariana grande and social house, playing over the speaker softly. onigiri miya's open sign had just turned around, and the warm light of the hanging sign outside flickers off. osamu effortlessly places the tray of warm onigiri in front of you two, and a shared smile laces upon your faces.

"thank you!!" you and atsumu chirp in unison, osamu acknowledges your gratitude, and discreetly smiles to himself as he prepares to clean up the kitchen. you both each take one onigiri, automatically knowing who prefers which type of onigiri (atsumu's is the cold tuna, yours can be what you prefer ♡ mine is tuna as well hehe). digging in, suddenly there was only one bite of yours left. mouth still full, you suddenly can't remember if you kept the receipt of your failed custom mug you had purchased the other day. it makes you wonder, then your curiosity takes over you before you could take the last bite of your onigiri! you glace and search into your bag, hand still holding a chunk of onigiri. you sigh of relief, noticing you had kept your receipt! but... something is missing.

but, in his so called 𝓅𝓊𝓇𝑒 𝒶𝓃𝒹 𝒾𝓃𝓃𝑜𝒸𝑒𝓃𝓉 𝓀𝒾𝓃𝒹𝓃𝑒𝓈𝓈 he will let you have the first bite of his favourite food.

'tsumu!" you playfully hit his shoulder, as he has an absolute giggle attack. to him, it's like there was genuine fury and fire coming out of your eyes and he found it the most hilarious thing ever LMAO. (but for me personally, i wouldn't take that.) "i wilL ACTUALLY DELETE YOUR FIFA ACCOUNT IF YOU KEEP THIS UP." "oKAYOKAYOKAY!!! i'm sorry i'm sorry i'm sorry pf-" he says as he is STILL having his giggle fit. obviously, the correct reaction is to look away and cross your arms. you do exactly that, and he realises what he's done (caused the next war). he suddenly gets a little touchier, and says "dear y/n-ieee... i promise to give you the first bite of the next food we eat, m'kayyy? from the pure, and innocent kindness of my heart!" he chimes. interrupted by a genuine, heartfelt shout of,

"oh shut yer' trap!"
