Okay so I need to rant about a fic. I don’t normally do this. I’m reading “your dearest fantasy (i could be a good mother)” by shadowsandsouls on ao3 @sapphicwiles and they just made and update of it yesterday. HERES THE THING. It’s started off a cute lil heart wrenching one shot with only 1 chapter. Then they added another and changed the chapter amount to 4. THEN THEY UPDATED IT YESTERDAY and then said THIS in the end notes:

Are you fucking KIDDING ME I’m actually gonna crash out. This is the best thing to happen in MONTHS of reading.

I cannot express ENOUGH how much I have needed a fic like this. The way you write the magic, the fluff, even the intimate, I don’t even want to say sex or smut because it’s not— you write them purely making LOVE, has left me feeling like I need to cry about how beautiful this writing is.

For me, I am able to visualise/imagine things in full colour and mostly with movement. So as if Im watching a movie. So put that together with such brilliant writing it really makes this a fic I’m going to remember and recommend to ANYONE willing to listen.

It has a special place in my heart now. As I was reading it I kept getting sad knowing the chapter was about to finish as I got closer to the end but I had to remind myself that whatever happens in the next chapter is going to be SO FUCKING WORTH THE WAIT.

And I want to ask (which of course you don’t have to as it is YOUR story) if you can write them finding out when it happens (I don’t wanna spoil) I see so many people who write fics like these skip over that and fast forward a few weeks - months. BUT whatever you write I will take because again, I AM CHERISHING THIS FIC WITH MY WHOLE SOUL, BODY, MIND.

Thank you for giving us this masterpiece and I’m so excited to see where it goes
