𝓟 airings. alpha!minchan x omega!reader wc. 3.8
🕸️◞ WARNINGS. heats, oral ( m. receiving ), threesome, double penetration, rough sex, possible chan mate?
「 ♱ authors note 」 happy halloween!! and day 10 of spooktober , it's the final day , if you celebrate be careful and have fun <3
you liked your job; it was omega friendly, paid well, you got paid time off for your heat's, and your bosses were extremely nice— they were also extremely attractive alphas.
chan and lee know started the company right after they presented as alphas, and it slowly made its way to one of the top ones in korea , eventually they brought on the rest of their pack; 2 alphas, 2 beta and 2 other omegas , and the company soared even higher , they eventually had to start hiring more and more hybrids.
you were recently hired after jisung and felix, the two omegas close to them and your bestest friends recommended you. “they'll love you.” he said. “you're smart and hard working.” he told you after finding out you were selected. “and you're a presented omega with a nice ass , you're perfect.” the felix , the other omega said, to which surely confused you; but you let it go.
soon the day came for your first day of work. “that pencil skirt is perfect , wear that one.” felix said , you stood in your bra. “did you take your heat suppressants?” he asked. “i don't need them , my heat isn't until next month.” you said , sliding the skirt up your tight covered legs. “yeah but there are at least 4 alphas on the floor you're working on , and probably 40 in the entire building,” he said. “all those hot alphas in one big building , we've had omegas go into heat early.” felix’s eyes shifted to jisung.
“hey! it's not my fault , lee know smelled good that day and chan wore that low v cut suit; not to mention changb- do not talk about him like that in front of me.” you smiled , buttoning up your shirt. “his freaky ass point aside , you should be safe.” felix said. “well i don't even have them right now.” you said. “why don't you?”
“well aside from being broke for the last month , i don't normally need them , all of my jobs were omegas only.” you said. “i should be fine , later today during lunch i'll run across the street near the company to get some of it calms your sweet little hearts.” you said. “well it's gonna have to do , because we're already late and changbin is gonna text me soon about it , so we need to go.”
the three of you made your commute in felixs car; both of them giving you the run down of the job. “you'll be working close to chan and lee know hyung.” felix said. “lucky bitch , i got jeongin.” you laughed at jisung. “he tried to jump lee knows bones twice already so they switched him to jeongin , he's the youngest alpha but he also is strong enough to ignore jisungs advantages, dummy never times his heat , it got so bad they started tracking it for him.” felix kept his eyes on the road. “lee know on the other hand , if even thinks and omega is in heat , he'll pounce.”
the three of you finally arrived at the company , the three of you arriving at the company. “jisung work on the third floor with jeongin and seungmin , i work with hyunjin and changbin on the second , but i'll take you up to the top where chan and lee know are.” you nodded. “yeah , i have to go now.” jisung said. “jeongin gets really bitchy when i’m late.”
the two of you separated from the boy on the elevator, heading all the way up to the top where you'd be working. “we're here.” stepping off the elevator. “wait.” you stopped , the boy turned. “im nervous.” you huffed , your stomach was turning and you felt like you were gonna puke. “everyone is nervous on their first day , it's a lot especially for an omega , you're just not used to all the different scents and trust me , some of them are not pleasant.” you laughed. “you’ll be fine , we'll get through the morning and then meet up with ji for lunch.” you nodded , sighing in relief. “okay.” he smiled. “okay let's go , chan is waiting in his office with lee know.”
“they're an hour late.” lee know looked down at his phone. “felix said they're on the way , they were stuck in traffic.” chan sat at his desk. “and you sure she's good?” lee know questioned. “our schedules are too busy for this type of behavior everyday.” chan rubbed his temples , nodding. “yes , felix said she's incredibly hard working , they've known each other for a long time.” he said. “jisung too , you know how sweet you are for that boy.” lee know smirked. “more like he's sweet for me , if you know what i mean.”
“trust me i wish i didn't.”
“the office is just down that hall.” felix pointed , you turned to him. “what?” you said. “are you not coming with me?” you began to panic. “hey calm down , you got this.” he said. “i can't come with you, changbin is wondering where i am , hyunjin isn't too happy with running his errands for him.” you nodded , stressed. “good.” he caressed your cheek. “now go.” he gave you a little tap on the butt. “you look good , perfect little omega.”
you turned on your heel , walking down the hall , turning to see if felix was still there. “you got this!” he shouted from down the hall , you laughed as everyone turned to him , he quickly got back on the elevator , waving one last time as the door closed. turning back around , you were about to knock on the door — but it opened.
while waiting for you , chan couldn't shake a feeling he had; no, a scent he smelled. “what the hell?” he said , it was a new smell , the alpha had his fair share of omegas in the building , he knew the smells of the omegas on the floor , but this one. this was a new smell. “what?” lee know interrupted his thoughts. “you have that look in your eyes , i can see it.”
lee know didn't smell it? if anyone had a good nose besides him it was the alpha sitting in front of him. “you don't smell that?” the other boy sniffled, shrugging. “the twenty omegas sitting outside? yeah , it's not easy to ignore.” chan stood up , walking towards the door , opening up. “hi?”
your mouth almost dropped open , seeing the attractive man in front of you. “yn?” you nodded , starstruck , he was drop dead gorgeous. “i-im sorry im late.” he shook his head. “don't worry about it , but don't make it a habit.” you nodded. “yes sir.” he opened the door wider. “come in.” he got a good whiff of your scent as you walked past him , looking outside , no one else could smell it , there were a few betas on the floor and none of them seemed to be affected. “th-thats lee know.” he said , “his office is on the other side , but we were waiting for you.”
“hello.” you said nervously , the alpha standing up taking in your appearance , the tight pencil skirt filling you out nicely , white shirt , unbuttoned just enough that he could see your cleavage. “seems like jisung and felix briefed you on the uniform , even though they could've done the same on being on time.” you lowered your head. “i'm sorry , it won't happen again.” he nodded. “good it bett-”
why'd he stop? he sniffed once , twice. “s-sir?” you asked , he looked to chan , then back to you. “um sit down and we can discuss our schedules.” he said , you nodded , sitting down , turning to look out the window much like chan did with the door. “um okay.” chan made his way back to his seat , sitting down , lee know leaning on the desk. “let's get started.”
they gave you the rundown on everything you'd be doing for them; getting them coffee , setting up for meetings etc … “your desk is right outside that door , i'm sure you saw it , but when i call for you , you come okay?” lee know said after chan was finished; you had to pretend you didn't feel him burning his eyes into your skin. “y-yes sir.” you nodded , gulping. “and please , call me chan and you can call him lee know.” chan said. “i don't know , i kinda like sir.” lee smirked , making your stomach jump , heat rising to your face and all over your body. “he's joking , i keep telling him to stop.”
“yeah im joking.” but the look in his eyes felt like he wasn't. “o-okay.” chan could tell you were nervous. “don't worry , you'll get the hang of it.” he smiled , his smile was calming. “give it a few days.” you nodded. “thank you sir.” he lifted his eyebrow. “so sorry , chan , thank you chan.” he nodded , the door opening. “felix , what can i do for you?” your friend entering the room , siting the file on the table. “you okay?” he put his hand on your shoulder. “yeah im fine.” you smiled.
“we're not gonna bite lix don't worry.” lee know teased. “chan maybe , you hyung im not too sure.” he massaged your shoulders , lee know watched the omega boys hand , resting where your shoulder and neck met , bare and ready to bite , he shook the thought from his head. “where did changbin get these?” chan sighed. “not sure.” the younger boy shrugged. “of course you don't , tell him and jeongin to come up here after lunch, this isn't right.”
“are you serious hyung? you know how he is” felix whined. “lix now.” chan ordered. “and take yn here to her desk , make sure she gets settled.” felix took your bag. “let's go my love , if changbin yells at me again, i'm quitting.” you smiled , bowing to the two alphas. “we'll call you if we need you.” you nodded. “come.”
as soon as the door closed , lee know sat down. “is she?” chan asked , lee know nodded. “i think so , does she not know? i thought all omegas knew.” they could still smell it in the office; even through the door; through all the other scents of the omegas. a scent both alphas knew all too well. “she's in pre-heat.”
the rest of the morning went by after that; running back and forth between the two , getting ready for the meeting after lunch , bringing them everything they needed; chan was more so lenient with you, like for instance , you made a mistake with the printings for the meeting and instead of yelling at you like you feared , he'd just smiled sweetly at you and told you it was okay ; probably because he knew you were soon going into heat , and we're all over the place.
lee know on the other hand , he wasn't mean; but he surely wasn't easy on you, sending you back and forth with different task , he demanded perfection and even though he knew what was going on with you and your preheat, it didn't stop him. “why isn't she trying to nest?” chan asked , on the phone with lee know who watched you through his window. “maybe she did already , like subconsciously.” they both were keeping and eye on you , knowing they probably should've sent you home upon smelling you. “should we send her home now?”
“she's about to take her lunch and right after is the meeting , if anything happens after then we'll send her home , it's her first day and she's already about to go on leave , many omegas here have worked here pre-heat.” chan rolled his eyes. “yeah and what did you do?” lee know chuckled. “hey if the little omega can't help herself who am i to stop her?” chan scoffed. “hey don't judge we all know that desk of yours seen way more than it wanted.” chan looked at you through his window , he could still smell you. “you can still smell her, can't you?” chan groaned , rubbing his temples. “yeah.”
“smells good doesn't she , almost makes you want to take her right on that couch?” lee know could tell his friend was losing his grip. “yeah.” he chuckled. “why do you think i haven't left this office yet?” he said. “i fear if i walk past her , i end up taking her right there on her desk.”
“yn?” chan poked his head out of his office , you looked up from your computer to him , with a smile that made the mans heart pound. “yes?” you answered. “um , it's time for your lunch , be back a little early the meeting is coming up and we need to get ready.” you nodded. “okay sir.” you stood up , he didn't even correct you , closing his door , he watched you walk past his window , your ass plump in your skirt. “you’re drooling.”
lee know stood in his office doorway. “it's getting stronger , i think i'm gonna send her home after lunch , seems like she could go into heat any time soon and I'd rather it not be here with 40 other alphas.” he said. “channie getting jealous?” the elder growled. “shit up.” lee know held his hands up in defense. “hey you're the one clawing at your desk , don't worry i feel the same way.” he said. “how are you containing it then.”
“oh the omega you just saw coming out of my office wasn't in there just for a performance review.” chan grimaced in disgust. “please , you think these omegas come here to work , yeah we pay good , but who else is willing to fulfill their fantasies of fucking their boss.” lee know spoke. “you think she has a fantasy of fucking her boss?”
“they're both so fucking hot.” you said , stuffing your face full of food. “yn it's your first day.” felix said. “felix you said the same thing about changbin on your first day.” jisung turned to you. “and lee know , he's a tease isn't he?” the boy said , you whined nodding. “what am i gonna do with you two.”
“hey did you take the heat suppressant?” felix asked. “i did but i really haven't had any symptoms , not even pre-heat symptoms.” you said. “well it's good you took one just in case , because i can see you rubbing your thighs together just from talking about them both , jisung too but it's expected from him .” you rolled your eyes. “he's a loyal omega to changbin , he doesn't understand.” jisung said. “sorry im not getting horny in the middle of the work day at the thought of fucking my bosses.”
“that's because you're already fucking him.”
you said your goodbyes to them after finishing your lunches , making your way back up to your floor; you didn't even know you were fanning yourself until the elevator door opened. “you okay?” the man stepped into the elevator. “oh-oh sir.” lee know stood on the other side, the elevator door closing. “i-im fine , just a bit hot.” you said , he hummed. “yeah?” he shook his head , the building was air-conditioned. “yeah.”
you both stepped off the elevator; making your way to your desk , not noticing the betas on the floor who were looking at you , following you — you also didn't notice lee knows glare , that being the only thing keeping them down as you began to stumble to your desk. “what the hell?” you sighed to yourself. “okay , that's enough.” lee know said. “huh?” before you could say anything , chans door opened and lee know was pushing you inside. “wh-whats going on?”
“what's going on is you're going into fucking heat and the entire door can smell you.” chan closed the curtains. “wh-what no im not.” you said , a burning sensation shooting through your body. “see?” lee know said. “bu-but i didn't prepare for it.” you said. “please turn on the air conditioning.” you whined. “you probably did , i can bet my entire life's savings you have a nice little nest waiting for you at home.” lee know smirked. “so excited to come to work in your cute little skirt you didn't even realize you were going into heat.”
you stomached burned , and the two alphas in the room weren't helping with your current situation. “li-lix.” you stuttered out. “what can that omega do baby?” chan said. “you know what you need, don't you?” his hand came up to your cheek , caressing it , you nodded. “what is it?” he said , grabbing your cheeks. “say it.” he commanded , you whined. “a-alpha.”
“what about two?” lee knows head tilted to the side. “two alphas to fill up that needy pussy?” clenching your legs together , the omega inside begging for something anything to make the pain and burning go away. “answer my question?” his hands came up to your hair , making a makeshift ponytail. “ye-yes please.” you whimpered. “yes what baby?” chan was much softer , making your brain fuzzier. “alphas.”
both of them standing in front of you , obvious bulges in their slacks , you reached for their slacks. “greedy omega , you want both cocks in your mouth?” lee know held your hair in his hand , using his other to undo his parents , chan following. “go ahead , suck his cock little omega.” lee know guiding your head to chans tip , you opened your mouth , letting him in. “fuck that's a good omega.” chan replaced lee knows hand with his , guiding your head up and down on his length. “fuck.”
lee know sat down , ripping open your shirt , the buttons hitting the floor made you whine around chans cock. “l-lee know.” chan stuttered , bucking his hips into your mouth. “sorry little omega , i’ll make sure to send some over to your apartment.” he squeezed your boobs. “nice fucking tits.” taking your hand , guiding it to his cock. “be good and stroke it.” he groaned , head leaning back against the couch as you jerked him off. “fu-fuck squeeze my cock.”
chan held your hair yanking at your hair , before holding it still. “fuck!” he groaned , slamming his cock down your throat. “tight fucking throat , gonna fill your mouth with my seed.” chan tough fucked your mouth. “fuck.” lee know stood up , jerking his own cock. “fuck gonna cum all over those pretty titties.” he growled. “be a good little omega , take all of it.” he grunted , squeezing a few times , cum spirit from his red tip on to your boobs , some getting on your skirt. “sorry baby.” but you could see his smirk.
chan continued to abuse your throat; his hip brutal as the alpha came close to ending. “fuck im gonna cum , take it down your little throat.” he growled before he came , his seed filling up your mouth. “shit.”
pulling out of your mouth , spit and cum dripping down your face , but you still needed more , chasing his cock. “look at her , desperate for a cock , fucking your bosses on your first day.” lee know slapped his cock on your cheek , allowing you to suck on his tip. “slutty omega , sucking my cock like that , gonna let both of us split your pussy open?”
grabbing you by your arms , making you stand up , chan unzipped the back of your dress , letting it fall to the floor , sitting down on the couch ripping your tights open. “jesus and you had the nerve to call me out.” lee know filling your mouth with his cock. “fuck , she's dripping.” slick pouring from your cunt , dripping down your legs. “we don't have time for you to do that now , we gotta get her out of here before the meeting starts.” lee know could see the man holding back. “fu-fuck you're right.”
you quickly got on top of him. “look at her , like a little whore , ready to bounce on the first cock she sees.” lee know chuckled. “go ahead , sit on it baby.” sinking down on his cock; lee know filling your mouth once again. “fu-fuck such a tight pussy , you're dripping down my cock.” chan held your waist , fucking up into you. “good little omega fuck!” he growled , hitting your cervix you would moan if you could , but lee know preoccupied your mouth , slamming in and out of you using your mouth as a toy. “fuck gonna cum down this tight throat.”
chan held you in his arms , fucking you at a brutal pace. “pretty little omega , taking my cock , fuck.” he hissed , your scent filling the room up. “gonna cum , relieve some of your pain.” his balls slapping against your ass , he slammed you down , one last time , his warm cum shooting into your waiting cunt , painting your walls. “oh fuck!”
before he could cum , lee know pulled out of your mouth , pulling you off chans lap , forcing your body in his desired position. “look at you , presenting like a good omega.” he growled , pressing his cock right at your core. “you ready for my cock slut.” you nodded. “pl-please alpha i need it.” you sobbed , screaming out as his stretched you out with his length. “fucking tight cunt , chans cum isn't enough , you need mines too.” he pulled at your hair as fucked into you. “ye-yes please.”
“good omega , knowing what you're made to do , take cock.” he cursed fucking into you harder , chans hands coming to your clit. “you gonna cum?” he pinched your clit , the whole office listening to them ravish you , lee know reading your mind. “yeah they can hear you being slutted out by your bosses.” he growled , i bet you all those betas out there can smell you , jealous they can't fill you up with their cum , bet you would like that ?” he slapped your ass.
“too bad you're ours right?” chan said. “our little omega to use whenever?” already delirious and about to cum , you dumbly nodded. “hell yeah she is , go and cum , show the entire office how much a slut you are for us.” and with the alphas command , you were screaming as you came. “fuck!”
you were slumped on the couch , both the males dressing themselves , chan wrapping his jacket around you , the alpha scent providing you comfort. “hey , little omega.” he smiled. “let's get you home and safe so you can properly do this.” he said softly , lee know smirked. “okay.”
“do i cancel the meeting?” he asked. “no , i'll be back soon , get started without me.” lee know shook his head as the alpha guided you out the out. “poor dumbass doesn't even see it yet.”
“where's chan?” jeongin looked at the empty seat. “he's the one who called this meeting.” changbin said bitterly. “yeah , i don't think we'll be seeing him for the next 4-6 days a week tops.” lee know smirked , the pack looked confused , before jisung spoke up. “yn isn't here,” he said. “oh yeah you both did get a new secretary.” it finally clicked on everyone's head. “are you serious , she's been here not even a full day?” felix and jisung shook their heads. “and she swore she'd be alright.”
“well it's safe to say now that she's here he'll be missing a lot more days than we're used to.”

ִֶָ── ࣪ ִֶָ🦇་༘࿐ Kinktober D21- voice kink (dirty talk/ guided)
────☠︎︎────
content: blindfolded, Jk tells her what to do to herself, tit play <3, "gguk" bc yes, praise
note from cherry: his voice is so hot, not super happy with this but oh well
────☠︎︎────
darkness can be incredibly intimidating, swallowing everything whole in its nothingness
Everything becomes more Intense,
when your sight weakens, your smell, hearing, intensifies,
Most of all, feeling intensifies
"just like that baby, get comfortable for me"
his deep, gentle voice summons shivers on your skin, words lingering on the shell of your ear delicately
your naked back is laid flat against his black cotton sheets, sinking into the plushy background, he moves his slender fingers to caress the side of your cheek,
it's silent except for your conjoined, slow breathing, you feel his tender fingers shifting, brushing some hair out of your face, secretly adimiring how sprawled out it is as its framing the swells of your breast beautifully
"I want you to listen to what i tell you baby, listen carefully okay?" he whispers against the skin of your neck, grazing his lips along it while his hands explore your body, running over your soft thighs, up to massage your stomach,
"okay gguk" with your slight aroused tone, you reply quietly, concentrated on the touch of his hands, now rubbing small movements into your sides,
his lips suck on your shoulder a little, taking the smooth skin into his teeth, grazing it just enough to leave a faint mark,
"put your pretty fingers into your mouth baby, two of them" you let out a small groan, squirming underneath the wet kisses that have made their way down your shoulders to, eventually, your chest,
Jungkook's honey voice seems so much more sultry- deep, low with the pressure of his kisses and the darkness that clouds your vision, not necessarily louder,
but it digs deeper into your system, bringing a quiver to your lips as you put two of your digits in between them
"coat them nicely, suck on them like you do on mine" you follow, moans erupting from deep within your chest, your tongue swirls around the digits, spit slowly running down the rest of your hand,
"good girl, now bring them to your little clit" at the sound of his breathy moans when he wraps his lips around your nipple, your back arches in surpise of the wet, cold sensation
"gguk please" you whine, meeting your soaked fingers to where he wanted them, he hums, pressing his tongue around the hard bud,
he doesn't neglect the other one, accepting your arche inside his palm, roughly pushing the soft flesh around, rolling your other nipple with his thumb
"yeah baby, small circles, rub your cute little pussy for me"
greedy for more, fed by his lips and hands toying with your chest, you quickly apply pressure, frantically rubbing circles into your skin,
his lips chase your other breast, licking and sucking at every inch he can, his own groans grow louder with the high pitched sound of your own whimpers,
"you're doing so good baby, look so pretty pleasuring yourself"
your entire body feels like it's burning with desire, hyper aware of how wet your chest is with his kisses, how his hot breath fanns against it- leaving a tingle in its wake
your fingers tirelessly move against your swollen nub, whimpering at how good the friction feels while also, whining at how you needed more,
"put them inside babydoll, fuck yourself for me"
a loud, deep moan flutters from your mouth as you plunge your own fingers inside of you, pushing them in as deep as you can,
"Just like that, my pretty slut, having your own fingers inside your wet lil' cunt"
your eyes shut tightly beneath the blinfold, a useless attempt on taking away how overwhelming everything is- how rough his kisses had gotten- sucking deep red marks into your chest,
how wet your own slick is, drenching your fingers that reach not as deep- not as big into you as his do, but the build up of pleasure, the deep sounds of his voice ringing inside your ears was simply too much,
"are you gonna come baby?" he hums, licking a long stripe up your neck, planting smaller, gentler kisses to your jaw, his cock throbs painfully inside his boxers,
As much as he loves watching your every little move, harsh- hasty pushes into yourself- the quelching noises adding to his arousal,
He loves touching you even more- he loves the feeling of your body wrapping tightly around his, reacting to it
"mhm!" you exclaim, desperately trying to keep going for the last little touches, you can feel your thighs shake like they haven't before- creeping up to your stomach,
everything tingles, then tenses when your huffed moans turns to cries, squirming uncontrollably,
"good girl, cumming on her own fingers"
he kisses over your neck softly, reassuringly stroking your shaky thighs before finally returning the sight back to you- the blindfold falls down your face,
"so bright" you groan, breathing heavily
jungkook giggles, peppering even more kisses to your face "hey pretty lady, welcome back"

roadkill ❀ s. reid x reader
in which a vacant home sits awaiting for spencer reid's return, and then he sits waiting for yours.
pairing: spencer reid x reader genre: hurt/comfort tags: established relationship. cm s12 spoilers. post prison reid. most certainly not canonically accurate. in fact diana reid is nowhere to be seen. canon’s not real anyways i know him better than the cm writers. past non prison reid trauma mentioned. reader has hair long enough for a ponytail (?) word count: 2.6k a/n: happy parfaitblogs post prison spencer reid fanfic to a searows song to all that celebrate.
The air was uncomfortably still in apartment 23. Thick, coating every piece of furniture, as if it was some incredibly translucent fog. Everything had been moved, and yet nothing was different. Empty mugs sitting in his sink with a coffee stain that reached a centimetre from the top, shoes dispersed on the floor by the front door. He just might've gone crazy in prison, considering he was pretty sure he could spot the layer of dust on each and every surface.
Your things mixed with his own. A blanket he doesn't remember ever purchasing in a crumpled ball on the couch, your laptop sitting awkwardly atop his own on his desk. But you weren't there. He could literally tell from the lack of movement happening in the space, and the fact that your bag wasn't situated anywhere his eyes could see. He also just knew you wouldn't be here. He hadn't spoken to you in three months, not even through words on a page. He was sure he'd not want to talk to you either, if the roles were reversed.
He wants you here, regardless.
He doesn't like his apartment without you in it. It's dull, and he's too on edge to do anything about it. Letting the oppressive air suffocate him in his new position on the couch, veins still peeking through his cold skin even as his hands sweat from your blanket he had wrapped them in. It smelled of you, and it was the closest comfort he could find in an otherwise discomforting time.
He wants you here.
Dinner was a steaming plate of nothing. No food he could eat without being sick sitting in any of his cupboards, for his appetite had grown bland during his time in prison, and you were not a plain crackers eater. He misses your cooking dearly. He misses your rambling about the different spices you were trying out that evening.
He wants you here.
His shower was cold. Icy water to rinse the running sweat from his constantly uneasy state. No shampoo, despite how badly his curls needed to be treated nicely again. It was shampoo you had bought for him; shampoo you had lathered through his hair time and time again as you taught him how to take care of his curls to keep them pretty, as you had said. The smell now made him sick.
He wants you here.
His bed remained untouched. The indent of where your head lay in his pillows still there, sheets and duvet wrinkled from your no doubt hurried job at making it that morning. He refused to get into it. Instead, he curled up on the floor at the foot of the bed, like a dog guarding the piece of furniture. His knees at his chest, arms around his legs. Positioned in a ball to keep him as small as possible, probably. Exhaustion never came, and his brain never silenced. He spent who knows how long staring at the doorway, out into his living room, thinking. Longing. Ruminating.
He needs you here.
Sunlight was peeking into his apartment through the blinds. Which he hadn't really noticed until he tore his eyes away from the medullary rays he was intensely studying, at the sound of his front door creaking open. He didn't say anything as he heard the familiar noise of your charm adorned bag rattling in the space. In fact, he almost smiled at it. He might've, if not for the aching hole in his chest.
He had no idea if you knew he was coming home until he heard your breath hitch. You were still far away, standing by the back of his couch, your hand halfway through tugging your hair out of its ponytail. Frozen in time once you had spotted him, confirming that no. You had no idea Spencer Reid was coming home today.
It was an awkward back and forth of breaths, and eye contact that he couldn't break even if he wanted to. You were real, and you were here, and even though you were staring at him with a heart shatteringly broken expression, he felt relief heat his glacial veins. You had not turned on your heel and sprinted away from him, and you were not screaming at him either.
He watched your muscles relax and your brain seemingly sink back into your body as the initial shock wore off, your feet now carrying your body over to his position on the floor.
He untangled his limbs before you reached him, grimacing at the ache in all his joints, ignoring the stickying feeling of the wound in his thigh reopening, blood coating his pants once more.
You didn't ignore it.
Nor did you say anything. Clocking the deep red stain on his otherwise white sweatpants, and disappearing into his ensuite to collect his first aid kit and a cloth. He couldn't count on his hands how many times you had stitched him up after he had come home from a case throughout all these years, the act awfully habitual by now. Yet, he was carefully watching your every move like it was the first time, responding to every signal you gave him to move or still.
Delicate fingers that brushed against his thigh encouraged goosebumps onto his skin, his sweatpants now in a heap on the floor next to your two bodies. His legs stretched across your crossed ones, a quiet, "Sorry," being the first word you said to him, as he winced at the gauze pressing against the open wound.
He murmured back an, "It's okay," while your hands wrapped a bandage around the limb, your heart rate increasing with fluster as you felt his gaze locked onto your face.
You aren't sure what to say to him after you finish dressing the injury, and so you stand up, heading towards his closet to pull out a fresh pair of pants for him to wear instead. You weren't quite sure if he actually wanted to speak to you. For three months, you were convinced he didn't.
He did want to be near you though, you learned. Trailing after you like a lost puppy as you moved through the motions of your post work routine silently. You didn't argue about it, even as he sat in the bathroom while you showered, or watched you intently as you boiled water in the kettle, and made a cup of tea for yourself and him. You didn't ask if he wanted one, and he was eternally grateful you had done it anyways.
Two cups of tea sat domestically on the coffee table, a sight you had sorely missed throughout these past weeks. He was curled up on the couch, his head in your lap, your fingers entangled in messy curls and balancing your focus between his unsteady breathing, and the old cartoon you had put on for visual stimulation in the space.
A conversation was needed to be had. One you most certainly did not want to have. You broke the silence to begin it, anyways.
"I wasn't allowed to go see you."
If not for the words themselves, then the cracking of your voice and the obvious heaviness of a sob lodged in your throat broke his heart even more. He had a lot of practice recently in being quiet voluntarily, and yet he was truly at a loss for words right now.
"I know," he decides on saying. "I kept you off the list."
"Why?"
The explanation felt incredibly meaningless now. It had at least made sense three months ago. And, worse than that, it was an unfair reason. He should not have decided for the both of you your limitations on seeing him based on insecurities.
"I didn't want you to see me like that," he admits, each word heavy on his tongue, for he could feel the way your fingers stilled in his hair, and he was sure your shoulders had just deflated.
You swallow down your snarky defence, knowing it wasn't helpful or even worth it right now. Instead, you nod your head, silently, and take a few beats to decide how to respond to him.
"I just wanted to see you," you whisper, eyes transfixed on the television screen, though your attention was anywhere but. "Just once, Spencer. JJ wouldn't even give me updates on how you were doing."
His throat bobs, and you look down at him, unsurprised to see his eyes studying your face already.
"I know. I asked her not to. I didn't want you to worry any more than you already were."
You knew he wouldn't do well in prison. If not for how mind numbingly boring it would've been for a brain as active as his, then for how unsafe he would've been as a federal employee. Everyday, you feared the phone calls you received from any of his colleagues, waiting for the one to inform you of his death within those concrete walls.
To know he was doing so bad he didn't even want you to know about it was quite possibly worse than any fear you had had the entire time he was in prison.
"I pretended to write to you," he informs you, quietly. "It kept me sane. Writing letters, even though you'd never receive them."
"Do you still have them?"
"No."
"Oh. Okay."
He hates how small you sound in your response. He hates himself for throwing away those letters. They may not have been the most pleasant, but they were an insight into his life during prison. One he was sure you were keenly interested in. Never mind the confessions of love he had jotted down. Daily. Reminding himself over and over what he was surviving for. Who he was surviving for.
"I made a friend this week," he says. "I think he's a friend. He used to be in the Bureau too. We bonded over that and books. He got me my own cell, next to his. We've been playing chess. He's kept me being a federal employee quiet, and kept me safe."
The confusion that had originally swept across your face settled upon realising what he was doing, and your lips twitched upwards. Grateful once more for his eidetic memory.
"I read As You Like It today. I'm not sure if you've read it, or any of Shakespeare's works. I don't know how I've never asked that. I wish I had. I will if I get out of here. I think you'd like Rosalind. She's hilarious. She reminds me a bit of you. She has an entire monologue scolding someone because she doesn't love a man who loves her dearly, while simultaneously berating that man for being a shepherd."
"I read Romeo and Juliet in high school," you say, staring down at him, and his chest puffs in a small laugh. Your heart swells in your own.
"I miss you everyday," your smile falls again at his words, as does his own, and you instead feel your stomach sink into the same inextinguishable black hole that permanently resided there. "I'll get out of here one day. Even if it's in twenty years. I selfishly hope you never move on if it takes that long. I'll be okay if you do. I love you."
"How many more do you have?" you ask him, fingers trailing down his face, tracing gentle patterns on the skin absentmindedly, for your mind was busy whirring about your first introduction to his time in prison.
"If I think hard enough, all of them," he answers. "It's hard to focus on much right now."
"That's okay," you say, chewing on your lower lip, staring at the two half drunk teas in front of you. "You don't have to tell me another one now."
He only nods his head, and you can only be silent from then on, unsure of what else to say to him that isn't a plead for what you had missed over three months of no contact.
He encourages you to move to his bedroom after his body falls asleep on you once, before jolting awake after only a few seconds. You comply, and intertwined fingers drag him to the bed you had become exceedingly familiar with.
He had never felt like a child in the present his whole life. Only ever when he looked back on the years before did he truly recognise he was young. Too young to have lost his dad. Too young to be solely responsible for his mother's health care. Too young to be battling a drug addiction. Every key moment in his life was a violent reminder of how fast he was forced to grow up. Simultaneously, he was unable to stop the time from passing.
And yet, as you cradled his head in your hands against your chest in his bed, your heartbeat providing him a welcome comfort that you were alive and he was with you, he felt like a child. He felt too young, and, for the first time in his life, he did not feel intelligent enough to deal with any of this.
He had caught a glimpse of his twelve year old self attending high school when he first arrived in prison. A small fish lost in an ocean of sharks. Here, he ponders whether or not that version of himself ever actually left his body, or if he was simply twelve years old and navigating this adult life fraudulently.
"I don't know how to deal with this," he whispers into the air.
He despises the way your caressing hand stops. Though, he doesn't mention it.
"Time, I guess," you murmur, chest rumbling against his head.
"I hate time."
"Yeah," you agree, quietly. "Time is the best healer, though."
"I hate that idiom."
"You suddenly hate a lot of things?" you ask, eyebrows shooting up.
"Mm," he nods his head, and exhales a sharp breath of air. "Not you."
A quip manifests on your tongue, but you bite it down, unsure if he will actually comprehend your humour right now. "That's good. I don't hate you either."
Silence settles over your bodies, though, unlike the air when he had entered the night before, it's much more pleasant.
He breaks the quiet with a whisper. "Thank you for not being mad at me. I'm sorry I didn't let you come see me."
You want to say you're mad at him for the sake of the principle. It wasn't fair, and the way you had felt during those three months was neglected and uncared for. But then the man you had been upset with had come home, and you're very quickly learning his reasons for it all. Anger dissipates quickly when it comes to Spencer Reid, you've found.
You also believe if you had seen him the way he is now, but without the ability to hold him the way you are, and a piece of glass separating your bodies, you'd probably be a lot less composed.
"It's okay," you mumble. "Thank you for not making me see you like that."
He only nods his head as a response.
He fell asleep sometime after your last comment, and you allowed yourself the time to finally look at him intensely.
His skin was bruised. Purple and yellow painting the skin all over, and you fought the urge to search for all the other marks all over his body. You were already blinking back tears; you weren't sure how much more you could handle.
Quietly, as your hands drop from the contusions on his face to your sides, you whisper earnestly, "I love you too."
And as his breathing hitches for only a moment, you're sure he hears you, even while asleep.

i. in the moments where my hands speak what my heart can't say
A snowflake lands on your tongue.
You pull your coat tighter around yourself, shivering slightly as you walk your way back from a meet up with some friends. Wonwoo had texted you earlier, asking if you needed anything before he would come over to your place for the first time, and you had told him that he didn't have to come because really... your place wasn't exactly the tidiness right now.
Nothing but the colour white blankets the ground, snow crunching under your shoes with each step. Your gaze drifts up as snowflakes drift lazily down to the earth. The city feels almost otherworldly like this𑁋so quiet and still, as if time has slowed to let the snow settle into its new home.
You watch the delicate flakes as they hover down, dissolving into the endless sea of white. Despite the chill slithering up your bones, there's a sense of calm that washes over you.
You're so caught up in the scene that you don't hear the faint sound of footsteps approaching from behind. Then you feel something drape over your shoulders. A scarf.
Startled, you glance down, your hands instinctively reaching up to touch the fluffy fabric. You blink and turn around to find Wonwoo standing there, his cheeks flushed from the cold, his breath forming visible puffs in the air.
"Wonwoo? I..." You catch the way the strands of his hair is littered with speckles of white. "I thought you weren't coming."
Wonwoo just shrugs nonchalantly. "I changed my mind. Couldn't let you walk home alone in this weather."
Your heart warms at his words, and you feel the corners of your lips tug upward in an easy smile.
"Thank you," You murmur, adjusting the scarf snugly around your neck. It smells faintly of him. "But you really didn't have to𑁋"
"Shh," he interrupts, taking your gloved hand in his and stuffing your intertwined fingers inside the pocket of his coat. I'm glad that I came. You deserve to feel safe. "Of course I did."
Wonwoo offers you a reassuring squeeze of your hand in his pocket. The biting chill of the air is no match for the comfort of his presence, and with each step that you take together, you feel more at ease. The snow crunches harmoniously beneath your feet as the two of you walk upon the journey towards your apartment building.
The glow from the lamps on your building reflect warmly off the blanket of snow. The two of you have only been dating just over a month, and each step feels lighter with him beside you. Conversation flows through the cold air easily, wrapping around you like the scarf he gave you.
Then you pause and turn towards him. "Are you sure you want to come in? I mean, my place is kind of a mess right now."
What's a little mess compared to being with you? "It's okay. I don't mind," he reassures, though his voice comes out a bit shy𑁋not from any unsureness, but just from knowing he's about step foot into your world. There's no way he's backing away from this now.
Uncertainty crosses over your features, but the warmth in his eyes hugs your hesitation about inviting him in. He follows right behind you, and as you step into your place, a sense of relief washes over you. You kick off your shoes and gesture for him to make himself comfortable on the couch.
"Make yourself at home," You tell him, ignoring the slight embarrassment nipping at your cheek from the slightly disheveled state of your living room. There's books and papers scattered on the coffee table, a couple of coats draped lousily over the back of a chair as if you were indecisive about which one to wear, a pile of empty packages in the corner that you haven't had the time to dispose of yet, and a crookedly placed small painting on the wall.
Home. I like that word. Wonwoo settles himself on top of the couch and leans back on the cushion, taking in the cozy, albeit chaotic, atmosphere of your place. This is you𑁋perfectly imperfect.
You disappear into the kitchen, and he can hear the faint sounds of you moving about. "Hot chocolate or tea?"
Wonwoo doesn't answer right away, instead shedding off his coat before letting his feet trail over to where you were in the kitchen. He peeks around the corner, catching a glimpse of you as you rummage through cabinets, and he can't help but smile.
You look so determined. I like that about you.
"I believe that hot chocolate is calling our names right now," Wonwoo inputs cheesily, sliding his way over to where you are, already fishing through your cupboards to find some mugs.
You look up, surprised but amused. "Pardon me, sir, but I believe that this is my place."
"Well, you were taking too long," he shoots back playfully, a light laugh escaping his lips. I want to do this for you.
After scrouging through a few cupboards, he grabs two mismatched ceramic mugs and sets them on the counter. Next to him, you're already heating up the saucepan, but Wonwoo seems to have already beaten you in grabbing the milk jug from the fridge.
As Wonwoo adjusts the flame of the stove to a calmer setting, you add in the cocoa powder and some sugar. Then you reach inside a drawer for a whisk and start stirring the mixture, the rich aroma of chocolate filling the air. Wonwoo watches you, leaning casually against the counter, a content smile on his face, but that doesn't seem to be enough for him.
He comes up to you from behind, placing a gentle hand on your waist as he leans in closer, his breath fanning against your skin and causing you freeze up for a moment.
"Hello," he mutters, voice soft to your ear, lips awfully close to your neck. I want to be part of this moment, too. "Need any help?"
Even if you do answer no, he's already reaching his other arm around you anyway. His fingers brush against yours, cupping over your hand that's whisking away as he begins to help you stir. His body is pressed up behind yours, and it's making everything ridiculously hard to concentrate on.
"Wonwoo, I really can handle this," You protest lightly, though the way he leans into you sends butterflies fluttering in your stomach.
"I know," he replies, and you can hear the smirk in his voice. But I want to be close to you like this.
The mixture starts to bubble slightly, and you can't help but glance back at him, your cheeks flushing under his warm gaze. "I appreciate it, but𑁋"
I think I can get used to doing these things for you. "It's no problem," is all he says. "I just like being here with you."
The chocolate begins to froth, sending a rich, inviting aroma right to your nostrils and throughout the kitchen. Wonwoo leans closer, his chin resting on your shoulder as he continues to whisk the mixture. This is nice. Just being here with you, doing something simple...
Once the hot chocolate is done, Wonwoo helps you pour it into the mugs, the steam curling up into the air like little wisps of happiness. The heat of the mug seeps into your palms, and you can't help but notice how natural this feels𑁋how effortlessly he fits into your world.
Suddenly, your face brightens, and you step away for a second to retrieve a bag of marshmallows from the pantry, holding the bag up triumphantly with a grin.
Wonwoo nearly melts into the floor just from that.
"Want some?" he asks after dropping a few marshmallows in his own mug. You should take it easy, too. Enjoy the little things, right?
You nod eagerly, watching as he plops some marshmallows in your mug. Just a tiny bit more than how much he put in his. Then he grabs both of your mugs, bringing you to follow him into your living room. Although it was still a little messy, the nerves in your system have definitely lessened𑁋it doesn't stop Wonwoo from noticing that slight glint of anxiety to your eyes.
Look at you, all worried about your place, and here I am, falling for you a little more every second.
He watches endearingly as you quietly blow on the hot chocolate to cool it down, and he copies your actions. Then he takes a careful sip, the sweet, comforting drink warming him from the inside out. He glances at you, watching as you sip your own drink. When you features beam up at him, he can't help but smile back.
Your smile is quite dangerous.
The dim light from the lamp casts a cozy glow around the room, and for a moment, everything feels perfect. Both of you find yourselves enjoying your drinks, settling into easy conversations about nonsense, all while the snow continues to fall outside.
As the laughter fades and the mugs empty out, Wonwoo leans back against the couch, stealing glances at you, and he can't help but feel his heart swell. You are so full of life, and he wishes he could bottle this moment forever, like a pressed flower preserved within the pages of a book.
What did I do to deserve you?
"What are you thinking about?"
Your voice jolts him out of his thoughts as you set your empty mug down on the coffee table, eyebrows raised in curiosity. Wonwoo clears his throat.
"Honestly?" he starts, leaning in a little. There's a bit of shyness in the way he purses his lip together, yet a hint of boldness as his eyes flickers momentarily to your mouth. "I'm thinking about how I'm just three seconds away from kissing you."
Can I show you what my heart wants to say?
In your chest, you heart leaps, flips, and swells with anticipation that it almost aches. Heat floods your cheeks and every crevice of your body as he holds your nervous expression.
"Is that okay?" His voice is barely above a whisper, like he's sharing a secret just for you to hear.
All you can do is nod.
"Yeah," You answer sheepishly at first. "It's more than okay."
The smile that breaks across his face is like a sunrise you could watch every morning. And it isn't long before his lips tentatively brush against yours.
This, he thinks, smiling against your lips, is home.
ii. even the silence is like a love song
Sometimes you think that your boyfriend spends more time at your place than his own.
Not that you're complaining at all. You've already entrusted a spare key to your apartment with him, and he's also told you the code to his own place too. However, sometimes on days that you plan on visiting him, he's already texting you that he's on his way to your place. You'll find him there, either casually perched on your couch, or in your kitchen brewing a fresh pot of coffee as if he's lived there for years instead of just a few months.
It's become a small, ordinary routine, but it's quickly grown into one of your favourite things about being with him𑁋how naturally he's slipped into your boring, mundane life, as if he's always belonged.
Just like now, when you arrive to find him folding some laundry in your living room. It's a mixture of your clothes and his, all mingled together as if they've always been part of the same household. Wonwoo is sitting on the floor, focused on neatly folding a hoodie you recognise as one of yours, placing them neatly next to a stack of button-ups that belonged to him, his brows slightly furrowed in concentration. The sight makes you pause in the doorway, a mellow smile tugging at your lips.
"Hey," You call out, dropping your keys onto the table by the door.
Wonwoo lifts his head up and catches sight of you.
"Hello." He stands up, already meeting you halfway. "You're home."
His words makes the corners of your lips lift even higher. Home.
"I didn't know how I hired a housekeeper," You remark as you toss your bag on the couch, before letting yourself fall into his own open arms. He wraps them around you without hesitation, pulling you close in a loving embrace. You can feel his chuckle rumble through his chest as he holds you.
"Housekeeper, huh?" he murmurs playfully against your hair. "Is that what I am to you now? I thought I was your boyfriend."
"Boyfriend first, however..." You cast your eyes past his shoulder at the folded pile of laundry on the table. "The housekeeper part needs some work, because I think you put one of your hoodies in my pile."
Wonwoo pulls back slightly, following your gaze to the pile of neatly folded clothes. His lips twitch in a small, amused smile as he spots the hoodie in question𑁋a faded grey one with this cute stitched cat print that you've probably borrowed more times than you can count.
"Hmm, you can keep it anyway," he says casually, turning back to you and leaning in towards you. "I think it looks better on you than me anyway."
Before you can respond, he's brushing his lips against yours slowly and sweetly, and you find yourself chuckling into the kiss as Wonwoo deepens it just a little, his hands resting right at your hips. When he finally pulls back, a boyish grin spreads across his face, and you can't help but mirror it.
Wonwoo presses a kiss to your nose. "What do you want to do tonight?"
You hum thoughtfully. You didn't have anything exactly planned for tonight, and the day seemed to be taking its toll on you.
"Not sure, I'm a bit tired, to be honest..." You let out a small yawn, an apologetic look to your face. "We can just do nothing, if that's fine with you."
Wonwoo's features only soften. "That's perfectly fine with me."
With that, the rest of the evening is established with the two of you slowly settling into a familiar routine. You both finish folding the rest of the clothes, then you find yourself taking a small catnap on the couch while Wonwoo quietly plays some games on his phone right next to you, keeping the volume low so it doesn't disturb you.
When you wake up, you notice that he isn't right next to you anymore; instead, you hear the sounds of the shower being used. Wonwoo must have decided to wash up while you were napping, and the thought brings a wave of bliss as you groggily stretch your limbs.
When you get yourself to stand up, you rub at your eyes before approaching the bathroom door and knocking on the door softly.
"Babe?" You call out.
The water turns off, sounds of shuffling behind the door. "Yeah?"
"Nothing," You respond, voice muffled. "Just wanted to check on you."
It doesn't take long for the door to be creaked open, with Wonwoo's figure emerging from behind it, water droplets glistening on his skin and his dripping hair tousled in that effortlessly charming way you adore. He's wrapped in a towel, looking every bit like he just stepped out of a magazine.
"Did you need something?" he asks while putting on his glasses that were slightly fogged up, and your eyes can't help but flicker over him for a second.
You swallow a lump in your throat, feeling your heart race faster at his presence in front of you and the way the steam curls in the air around him. The towel around his waist clings to his skin, and you swiftly shoot your eyes up to the ceiling and then down to the floor, shaking your head to clear your thoughts.
"No, I-I'm good," You manage to say. "Just wanted to check in on you."
"Yeah?" He tilts his head playfully. "Bummer. Thought you wanted to join me."
Some sort of choked sound leaves you, and you roll your eyes to hide the heat rising to your cheeks.
"In your dreams, mister," You quip back, but it still doesn't make you any less flustered.
There's a teasing glint in his eyes for a fraction of a second, before it simply melts into something softer.
"I wouldn't mind if you wanted to join," he tells you casually, leaning against the door frame, a subtle smirk playing to his lips. "I think you deserve to unwind with a little bit of pampering."
You bite your bottom lip, torn between how temping his offer sounds and the voice in your head reminding you of the boundaries you've carefully maintained... until now, as it seems. Still, the warmth radiating from him and the sincerity in his eyes makes it hard to resist.
So, you let your shoulders deflate.
"Is there a spare towel in there?" You ask him, prodding the door open a little more with a finger.
Wonwoo's face just brightens, and before you know it, he's reaching for your hand and pulling you inside the bathroom, lips meeting yours as soon as the door clicks shut behind you.
Later that night, the two of you order some takeout from a nearby Chinese restaurant. It isn't long for time to drift by as the cozy atmosphere of your apartment settles over both of you. Even the silence that plagues the room is comfortable, tainted with the hum of the television and the occasional clinking of chopsticks as you both revel within the simple joys the night offers𑁋each other.
You regret mentioning how it's getting close to midnight, because now you find yourself watching with a frown as Wonwoo begins to pack his belongings and laundry into a bag.
"Are you sure you... don't want to stay the night?" You question timidly, arms crossed together as you lean against the counter, watching his moments carefully with a frown.
Wonwoo pauses, his hand hovering over his backpack as he glances back at you. "I mean, I could... I have a big meeting in the morning though, and I don't want to impose."
A pang of disappointment hits you at his words.
"I... I love having you here, you know," You say cautiously. "You're practically living here half the time, anyway."
His lips quirk up in that familiar way, a mixture of amusement and affection that never fails to make your heart flutter, before it's quick to dissipate.
"I don't want to be a distraction when you need to get some rest," he replies. "You deserve to have your own space, and I know how important alone time is for you."
"I love having you in my space," You interject, stepping closer to him, desperation creeping into your voice. "and I love sharing my space with you."
Wonwoo lets out a sigh. "Love, I don't want you to feel bur𑁋"
"We can live together."
The bombshell that tumbles out of your mouth takes both of you by surprise, and the room goes quiet for a moment. You can see Wonwoo's eyes widen slightly, and his hand pauses mid-motion as he processes what you just said.
"Are you being serious?" he asks, and you expected for his words to come out in utter shock, perhaps even disbelief and disdain.
Instead, there's a note of wonder in his voice, like he's barely believing everything that you just said.
"I know it's a big step, but I..." You take in a deep breath, glancing down at your fidgeting hands. "I mean, we spend so much time together already, and it feels like... like we could really make it work. I just𑁋I want you to be around more. When I wake up, I want you to be the first person I see, and when I come home from work, I want you there waiting for me."
Silence hangs in the air, and you hold your breath. The seconds that float by feel like an entire millennium has passed, your heart bracing itself for the potential inevitable.
Wonwoo's hand tightens around the bag in his hand. "You really mean all that, don't you?"
"I do," You affirm, mustering all the confidence you can. "I want this. I want you. I want us."
Wonwoo lets out a long awaited, bated breath, his gaze softening as he looks at you. Slowly, he sets his bag down, and in a few strides, he's right in front of you.
"You have no idea how long I've been wanting to hear you say that."
You blink, feeling a rush of warmth flood your cheeks. "Really?"
"Really," he confirms, a bright smile spreading across his face. There's no reluctance or hesitation you hear in his voice, see on his features, or find in the way he's holding your gaze. "I've been thinking about it too, to be honest."
You feel the breath you've been holding finally release, and a laugh escapes you, shaky but full of relief and happiness.
"Let me just say this in advance," You start, lips teasing up in a faint smirk. "I'm sorry for the mess I might bring. I promise to clean it up."
Wonwoo only rolls his eyes and steps closer towards you, cradling your face gently with his hand, caressing over the skin of your cheek oh so tenderly.
"When do we start?" he asks, leaning down to press a lingering kiss to your forehead.
"Whenever we want," You reply lowly, lacing your fingers with his. "Whenever we're ready."
Wonwoo pulls you close again to connect his mouth with yours once again. "I think I've been ready from the moment you gave me that spare key, sweetheart."
iii. your heart is in a safe space between my words
There was something particular that always caught your eyes whenever you would casually pass by Wonwoo's desk.
A stack of sticky notes, and a ballpoint pen.
As miniscule as they are, there's something about the way the stack grows smaller over time and the way the pen seems to be slowly losing its ink that makes your heart flutter.
It started off with a simple note you found one day in your lunchbox at work: You're doing great, my love. Have a good day at work!
At first, you didn't think much of it. After all, it was just a little note from Wonwoo, but as you read over the words a hundred times, warmth was quick to sprout within you like a flower seeking the sunlight. And somehow on that same day, not a single cloud had drifted over the sky like the weather had previously forecasted.
From there, that little note was the start of a tradition between you and Wonwoo. Every day, he would leave a sticky note for you somewhere you wouldn't expect it𑁋your bag, your lunch, the mirror of the bathroom, on the screen of your laptop, or even on the cute kitten plushie that hung in your car.
And every day, you found yourself looking forward to these small treasures, your heart racing in anticipation each morning. What would Wonwoo write today?
Today, however, the stack of sticky notes had emptied out.
You don't mind it too much, though; in fact, it still fills your heart nonetheless, knowing that he had shared each note with you so thoughtfully. After all, just thinking about him is enough to get you through the entirety of the day.
Unfortunately, the day goes particularly sluggish. A bunch of workload had been dumped on you, and you nearly get into an argument with your team manager over some stupid revisions to a project that you didn't agree with. Heavy frustration had settled on your chest during the slow hours that pass, yet somehow, you manage to get through the day with gritted teeth.
When the work day finally ends, you find yourself hurrying on the way home just before traffic could reach its peak rush. As you finally pull into the parking space outside your apartment, a wave of relief washes over you. You step out of the car and make your way to the front door, the familiar scent of home swirling around you like the smell of fresh dinner.
As you enter the apartment, you relish in the familiar scent of home with a deep inhale, and you can already feel the stress of the day beginning to melt away.
"Wonwoo?" You call out as you slip your shoes off and place them next to Wonwoo's on the floor.
Silence is all that greets you. Making your way through the small hall way, you peek into the living room. It's quiet, the weak glow from the lamp casts long shadows across the furniture, and it doesn't take you long to spot your boyfriend sitting on the couch.
There's a book in his hands, earphones in place, and he seems completely engrossed in whatever he's reading. You can't help but smile at the sight𑁋his brow furrowed in concentration and the corners of his lips twitching up slightly, the subtle flick of his fingers turning each page as if he's savouring each word.
You approach him quietly, and after turning one more page, he glances up and notices your presence. He pulls one earbud out and sets the book down, already scooting a bit on the couch so that you can sit down.
"Hello, beautiful," he coos lightly, eyes lighting up as he takes you in.
"Hi," You breathe out tiredly. Instead of sitting next to him on the couch, you decide on letting your body fall on top of him, making him let out a tiny oof. "'m tired."
Wonwoo chuckles softly, his arms instinctively wrapping around you as you snuggle into his embrace. "Long day?"
"Very long," You mumble into his neck. "and missed you."
"Missed you too," Wonwoo whispers back, pressing a kiss to the top of your head.
You let out a content sigh as the warmth radiating from his body seeps into you, and you feel grateful for the safe haven he provides after a day that felt like it would never end. It feels like home.
"Tell me about your day," he prods carefully, his fingers tenderly carding through your strands of hair.
You pull away a bit to meet his gaze. "Well, it started off okay, but it just... snowballed. A lot of meetings, and my manager was being difficult again. I almost lost it over a few stupid revisions."
Wonwoo's expression turns serious, a slight frown tugging at his lips as he processes your words. "I’m sorry, love. That sounds really frustrating."
"It's okay. I'm home now," You say as you slide your body in the spot right next to him on the couch. "Just felt like I was drowning all day."
"Then let me help you float," Wonwoo offers. His thumb begins to stroke your arm soothingly, and you can feel the tension in your muscles slowly releasing under his touch. "I'm proud of you for getting through today. It's not easy, but you always find a way to push through. And remember, it's okay to have days like this. It doesn’t define you. You are so capable, and I'm always here to remind you of that, okay?"
You blink at him, feeling the corners of your eyes prick with heat. "Wonwoo..."
"I'm serious, my love," he insists earnestly. "Sometimes I think you forget how incredible you truly are."
You can't help but let a small smile break across your face, but you shake your head slightly. "You give me so much more credit than I deserve."
"That's where you're wrong," he replies soothingly, his voice steady as he continues to meet your gaze. "You deserve every bit of credit, and I’ll keep reminding you until you believe it too."
His words fill the space between you, wrapping around your body𑁋your heart𑁋like a soft blanket on a cold day.
You let out a shaky breath and lean in closer, pressing your forehead to his. "Thank you. You always know what to say."
"That's my job, precious," Wonwoo murmurs, placing a kiss to the tip of your nose. "Glad to see I'm doing it well."
"You want compensation for that?" You quirk up a teasing brow.
Wonwoo just simply smiles, before cupping your face in his hand and landing a firm kiss right at your lips, and it's filled with the reassurance you've desperately craved for the entire day.
When you pull away, your cheeks are flushed, and you can't help but grin at him, feeling lighter than before. You press your body against his once again, settling into the comfortable embrace as he wraps his arms around you tighter.
"By the way," You say, voice muffled against his shoulder. "I noticed the sticky notes were gone today."
Wonwoo shifts slightly, his fingers still tangled in your hair, and you can feel him smile against your shoulder. "Ah, yeah... I thought I had more, but I guess I didn't. I'm sorry."
"No, it's okay. I just..." You purse your lips together, tracing lazy patterns on top of his hand. "I just really look forward to them. They brighten my day, you know?"
Wonwoo tilts his head adorably, studying you for a moment. "You really like them that much?"
"I do!" You admit, smiling against his shoulder. "They make me feel really special."
Wonwoo hums thoughtfully. "I'll make a trip to the store tomorrow then."
"If you do, buy another stack, please."
You pause, feeling a bit embarrassed by how eagerly you're clinging to the idea of these little notes. But before you can add anything, Wonwoo pulls back just enough to look at you, a playful glint in his eyes.
You giggle when you meet his gaze. "Not for you though, for me. I want to start writing you notes too."
Wonwoo's eyebrows raise in surprise, a soft laugh escaping his lips. "I'll be looking forward to it then."
And in the morning, perhaps you'll leave the first note.
iv. it's not what i place in your hands, but what i place in your life
The blinding lights of your vanity shine down on you as you unclip a silver bracelet from around your wrist, placing it gently on the surface of the dresser, the charms clinging together as they settle. It's a bracelet he had gifted you a while back𑁋you had worn it every day since.
Fatigue slowly starts to plague your body as you catch a glimpse of yourself in the mirror. You had treated Wonwoo to a date today, and these days, it's rare for you to plan one because he's always the one taking up all those opportunities. It's a tad bit unfair sometimes, but once you got the chance the flip the script, you took it right away.
The door to the bedroom creaks open, and you glance up to see Wonwoo coming inside, still wearing the outfit he had worn for the date. As he catches your eye, a smile lights up his face.
"Hello," he greets, coming up to you from behind, the light shining on his form as he rests his hand on both of your shoulders as you continue to shed off the jewelry you were wearing, giving you a few squeezes.
"Hey," You greet him back, feeling your shoulders relax from his touch.
"Thank you for tonight," he adds fondly. "I had a really great time."
The sincerity in his voice tugs at your heartstrings, a doting smile on your face displayed in the mirror.
"I'm glad," You reply, turning slightly to catch a glimpse of his expression. "Thought you deserved at least a little pampering from me. You always plan things for us."
Wonwoo's eyes sparkle with appreciation, and he takes a step closer, lightly massaging your shoulders with his thumbs. "That only makes me want to step up my game even more, honey."
A pout crosses your face at that, crossing your arms playfully. "No competition here. I just wanted to treat you for once."
"Fair enough," he declares, letting his hands fall back to his side, watching closely as you start to fall into the rhythm of your nighttime routine.
He catches a glimpse of all your jewelry scattered across your vanity, and it warms his heart to see a mixture of some stuff he's personally bought for you, and some pieces that you've picked out on your own over the years.
Wonwoo brings his own hand up to undo his watch and sets it down beside your bracelet, the two pieces contrasting yet complementing each other beautifully. He knows that you aren't biggest person on gifts, yet he loves that you still cherish every little thing he gives you. That's enough for him.
"Think I should invest in getting you a jewelry box for all these," he jokes, trying to lighten the moment as he admires the collection.
You say something in response that he's hardly able to catch, a pitter-patter of hesitation clouding above his head. Unnoticeably, he shoves a hand into the pocket of his pants, fingers fidgeting against something in there. The nerves twist in his stomach, and he takes a moment to compose himself.
"...I just don't get how some people can easily organise all their stuff. I can hardly keep my own desk clean at work!"
Wonwoo nods, forcing a smile that doesn’t quite reach his eyes as his mind races.
"...but I think a jewelry box could work. There's one that I saw at this store I passed by𑁋"
"Sweetheart."
You cut yourself off from your rambling, concern knitting your brows at how suddenly serious he looks. "Yeah?"
He hesitates, glancing at the watch he just set down. "I want to give you something."
There's nervousness in his expression that you see, and you turn your body to fully face him, waiting for him to continue.
Wonwoo opens his mouth as if to declare something, before shutting it quickly. Then he simply takes something out of his pocket, and you watch as he opens up his hand, underneath revealing a delicate-looking necklace resting on his palm, the pendant gleaming under the light.
"A necklace?" You ask him curiously.
"My mom's necklace," he clarifies quietly. "She wore it all the time when I was growing up. It's been passed down in our family, and I thought... I thought maybe you'd want to have it."
Your eyes widen as you lean closer to the shimmering piece, taking in its intricate design. "It's beautiful." You reach out to lightly touch the pendant, before looking back up at him. "Are you really sure?"
He nods slowly. "My mom always said it brought her strength and comfort, and I only hope it could do the same for you."
A lump forms in your throat as you process his words, but the steadiness he attempts to hold in his face reassures you.
"I'll cherish and protect it with my life," You promise him. "Thank you for trusting me with something so important to you.”
Wonwoo just smiles𑁋there's something bittersweet about it𑁋his shoulders relaxing as he watches you admire the necklace. "Can I help you put it on?"
You nod, turning your back to him, meeting eyes with your nervous reflection back in the mirror. He carefully clasps the necklace around your neck, his fingers brushing just the slightest over your skin. You feel the cold pendant settle gently against your collarbone, catching the light in a way that feels almost magical.
"There," he whispers, stepping back slightly to admire how the necklace complements your figure. "It looks perfect on you."
You reach up to touch the pendant, the meaning it carries heavier than the weight itself. You meet his eyes through the mirror, taking in his eyes that holds both certainty and vulnerability, and that small, proud smile he wears, as if he's laying his heart completely bare for you.
And you'll treat it with all the care it deserves𑁋gently, without reservation.
v. your skin is the map where my love finds its way home
"I'm taken, sorry."
Usually, that kind of statement would drive someone away right off the bat, but the man that's looming in front of you𑁋with breath that reeked of alcohol and a smug, ugly-toothed grin plastered on his face𑁋only inches even closer, and you can feel the discomfort coil tighter in your stomach.
"What kind of boytoy leaves a pretty thing like you sitting here all alone then?" the man sneers, holding you in place with his lecherous, glassy gaze. "Come on, darling. We could have a little fun somewhere else."
"My husband is in the bathroom and we're on our honeymoon," You rebuke sharply. "and I don't think he would appreciate you being here."
The man eyes you up and down, huffing out a low laugh that sends a shiver of unease down your spine.
"I don't see a ring on that finger of yours, sweetheart," he taunts, leaning in closer. You can feel the heat radiating off him, and it makes your skin crawl.
The hairs on the back of your neck stand on end as you shift uncomfortably in your seat, trying to create some distance between you and the man. For all the wrong reasons, the man is right about how your ring isn't on your finger, and you can feel the panic increasing in your system. You knew you were wearing it for the entirety of the day, yet as you feel around your finger.
You remember taking it to wash your hands in the restroom, but you could've sworn you slipped it back on before leaving.
Where the hell did it go? "I𑁋" You stammer anxiously. "I must have dropped it."
This only fuels the man's smugness. "See? No ring means no commitment. What's stopping us from having a little fun, huh?"
You can hear your heart pulsing up to your ears in panic while desperately scanning the confined area for any sign of your lost ring, but it's hard to think clearly when he's so close to you.
Just as the anxiety was about to overwhelm you, a voice cuts through the haze of discomfort.
"What's going on here?"
You peer up to see Wonwoo approaching, the sleeves of his button-up rolled up to his elbows and a frown creasing his brow. The sight of him instantly eases some of your tension, but the man in front of you doesn't back down. Instead, he sneers, his demeanour shifting as he sizes up Wonwoo, who doesn't even look the slightest bit intimidated by the drunken man.
"Who do you think you are?" the man slurs.
"I'm their husband," Wonwoo replies flatly, his voice calm but edged with an unmistakable steeliness. He steps in closer to you, wrapping a protective arm around your waist and pulling you more towards him. "And I suggest you back the hell off."
"You think you can just scare me off?" the man growls, trying to regain his composure. "I was just having a little fun. No need to get all riled up."
"Then go take your drunken ass somewhere else to have fun," Wonwoo snaps back harshly, voice lowering to a threatening tone that sends a clear message.
"What's it to you? They're just a pretty face," he spits and snickers, belittling you as if you were nothing more than an object.
"I don't care what you think, jackass," Wonwoo retorts, his grip around your waist tightening; even then you feel the way he's tracing soothingly over your hip. "Walk away before I call security on you for harassing my partner."
The man fixes you and Wonwoo with a callous glare, scoffing dismissively under his breath before turning on his heel and stumbling away toward the bar of the restaurant. The breath you've been holding in finally escapes out of you in a shaky sigh, relief flooding your system.
Wonwoo's hand remains firm on your waist, the other coming to interlock with yours comfortingly.
"Are you okay?" he asks, gaze softening as he returns all his attention back to you.
You give a nod. "Yeah, I-I'm fine. Thank you, I thought he wouldn't go away but he kept pestering me and wouldn't leave, and then I saw that my ring wasn't on my finger and I..." You quickly cut your words off, taking another deep breath. "I'm sorry, I thought I put it on when I left the restroom earlier, but𑁋"
"It's okay, love," Wonwoo interrupts gently. "I've got it."
You blink up at him. "You... You do?"
With a small smile, he reaches into the pocket of his button-up, and there it is: your ring, the diamond on it sparkling under the glow of the restaurant lights. Your heart swells at the sight, relief flooding your chest.
"I found it at the bar when I was coming back. The bartender turned it in," he explains, while carefully slipping the ring back up at your finger. You can't help but smile affectionately as he adjusts it, feeling the cool metal settle back into place.
"Thank you," You tell him. "I was starting to freak out."
"Don't worry," Wonwoo reassures you, letting his thumb brush over the ring on your finger, before bringing your hand up to plant a kiss on your knuckle. "I won't let anything happen to you, okay?"
You take a moment to collect yourself. As the weight of the situation lifts, you feel a warmth spread through you, not just from the relief but also from the way Wonwoo is looking at you𑁋soft, protective, and so utterly devoted.
"Come on, let's go get some gelato and then head back to the hotel." Wonwoo helps you up from the seat, his hand never leaving your waist as he guides you through the bustling restaurant and back outside.
As you walk together, he never lets go of your hand, instinctively squeezing gently every now and then and drawing lazy shapes on your palm as you wait for your gelato. You catch glimpses of other couples around you, their hands linked in similar gestures, but none feel quite like this.
Wonwoo wasn't much of a public display of affection kind of person, but in these moments, he feels different. And you weren't complaining at all𑁋you love when he's not afraid to remind the world of his affection for you.
After treating yourself with gelato (well, Wonwoo had paid for yours, even when you protested no), both of you make your way back to the hotel. The moment the cool air of the room hits your face, a wave of exhaustion courses through you as you place yourself at the edge of the bed.
"Wow, that was a day," You mutter, leaning over to begin removing your shoes, yet Wonwoo is quick to kneel down before you, gently encouraging your hands away. He helps slip them off your feet with a careful, tender touch. His fingers graze against your skin as he sets your shoes aside.
"There," he says with a small smile, looking up at you. "Better?"
You nod, feeling the tension in your muscles begin to ease. "Much better, thank you."
You watch with half-lidded eyes as he stands back up to sit himself down on the bed right behind you, the mattress dipping with his weight. The warmth from his body presses against your back, his hands coming up to caress up and down your arm.
His breath hits the skin of your nape, and that alone was enough to send goosebumps surging through you. He's awfully close to you now, close enough that his lips are just barely ghosting your skin.
He trails his fingers from your shoulder down to your wrist, and you can't help but shiver when he leans in, his lips landing a featherlight kiss to the top of your shoulder, then slowly, they trail up to the curve of your neck, planting brief, lingering kisses that make you melt in his hold.
"Won..." You whisper, your voice nearly lost in the quiet of the room.
Wonwoo only hums in response, his lips landing to the sensitive spot right below your ear, and you feel a slight shiver ripple through you, your breath hitching as he pauses there, savouring the closeness.
"You have no idea..." he rasps lowly against your ear. "...how much I love knowing you're mine."
Your breath hitches at that, his words etching like a scar in your mind as his hands come to toy playfully with the strap of the dress you wore, before leisurely bringing it down your shoulder.
You don't even have to look at him to see the subtle smirk to his face, his mouth trailing its way down from your nape and to the delicate curve of your shoulder, where he presses another tender kiss, this time lingering just a bit longer, eliciting a hushed sigh from you.
After a few moments, you shift your body around so that you're facing him, and the heat of his gaze sends your heart racing. Swiftly, he pulls you closer, basically placing you on top of him as your legs straddle his waist.
A nervous giggle tumbles out of you. "Hi."
Wonwoo's face melts into a soft smile. "Hello."
You aren't sure who leans in first, but suddenly your lips are brushing against his. His hands find their way to your waist, fingers pressing gently into your sides as he deepens the kiss.
"I love you."
"I love you too," he breathes against your lips, hands roaming from your waist to the small of your back and pressing you flush against him, erasing any remaining space between you.
After a few more kisses, you pull away slightly, locking a firm gaze with the man right beneath your touch.
"So," You start, an impish look to your face. "You're my husband now."
Wonwoo's lips curve into a smirk, and he raises an eyebrow, leaning back slightly as he holds your gaze. "That seems to be the case."
A light laugh escapes you as you lean in closer, feeling the delicate fabric of his shirt beneath your fingertips. Your eyes drop momentarily to the buttons of his shirt, and without thinking, your fingers instinctively begin to unbutton the first few, revealing a glimpse of his toned chest beneath.
His breath hitches at your touch. "Love..."
"You don't have to hold back, you know," You whisper between kisses, a playful tone to your voice along with a twinge of softness.
Wonwoo sucks in a deep breath at that, reaching up to push some strands of hair behind your ear. All he could do right now is simply stare at you, admire you, knowing damn well he’ll fly to the skies and catch a star if you asked for one.
"I know," he mumbles quietly. "Just want you to be comfortable."
"I am comfortable," You assure him calmly, your fingers still playing with the buttons of his shirt. Each small tug reveals a bit more of him, and you marvel at how his skin glows under the dim light.
For a moment, he studies your expression for any hesitation, before slowly dragging the other strap of your dress down your arm, exposing more of your skin to him to worship, to map out with the tender graze of his fingertips, almost as if he’s tracing constellations on your skin. The chill of the hotel rooms sends goosebumps dancing down your body, but his warmth quickly envelops you as he leans down, peppering loving kisses along your collarbone.
"You're beautiful," he mutters, letting his hands glide over your skin, tiny sparks emitting from his fingertips. His words drip of adoration. "Can I?"
You take note of the way his mouth twitches up into a satisfied grin when he looks back up at you. Even with all the longing he's showing you right now in the way he's holding you, touching you, there's still that undeniable softness that hasn't seemed to lose its spark since he's laid eyes on you all those years ago.
"You can," You answer simply. "You can have me."
Your words send a shudder through him, his heart pounding against his ribcage at the invitation.
"You're going to be the death of me, you know that?" A breathless laugh escapes his lips as he captures your chin gently with his hand.
This only brings a smirk to your face.
"Then let me be your heaven."
That's all it takes. Wonwoo knows that he's playing with fire, but getting burned by you is a risk he's more than willing to fuel.

honeys it girl magazine october edition!!⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🎀
welcome back to honeys it girl magazine, this is the october catalog. get ready for the inside scoop on data that i've collected, things i've learned/started doing, and just general info like that organized in kind of a teen-magazine inspired fashion. a magazine for it girls ✨ and now please enjoy, the it girl magazine.
HOW TO HAVE THE MOST DOLLY SLUMBER PARTY EVER ;
when i think of the month of october i think of GLAMOROUS parties. and that incorporates girly slumber parties, halloween parties, a LOT of parties. SOO the kind of party that i wanted to focus on in this month's catalogue is slumber parties.
to throw a successful slumber party we first need a plan. make sure that u have refreshments, entertainment, invitations and all of that planned. if u wanna have a SUPER cute slumber party have a theme. some theme ideas can be
♡ victoria's secret (V.S. pj's, lingerie, everyone wears a V.S. robe etc)♡ 2000's ♡ movie based pajamas♡ a color scheme (black and pink is my fave)
and we can't have our girls being bored at our slumber party can we? make sure that u plan fun activities like having a fashion show (playing dress up) playing dress to impress or video games like that, baking sweet treats, karaoke, dolling each other up ETC. for refreshments you could do a snack bar or make mocktails, you could even do a milkshake station!
THE VICTORIA'S SECRET FASHION SHOW 2024 ANALYSIS ;
🧁 anok yai’s floral number (she’s literally blooming, she looks like a FLOWER. her hair is giving barbie dolll and ultimately she had my favorite look of the whole entire night. the WINGSSS, the shoes everything just goes together beautifully.)
🧁 gigi hadid (she looks like a lavender princess fairy and it looks amazing on her. but PLEASEE why the slick hair?? when i think victorias secret im thinking of bouncy voluminous hair. i LOVE her wings though. they're so big and over the top and i love it)
🧁 imaan hamman (also goes with lisa and anok yai in my top three favorite looks of the night. its so simple but in my opinion her look gives the victorias secret that we all know and love the most.)
🧁 alex consani (i rly rly love baby blue on her, again, please bring back bouncy voluminous hair. and i kinda wish they gave her fluffier wings.)
🧁 lisa’s black lacy number (def one of my favorites on the whole runway. i wish she had black lacy wings instead of the structured ones but easily one of my favorites)
🧁 maty fall (the silk, the feathers, chefs KISS. in his case i think the minimal wings look the prettiest because her outfit is fuller, the delicate wings complement it beautifully.)
OCTOBER BODYCARE, MAKEUP AND FRAGRANCE FAVORITES ;
body care : hello kitty strawberry oat milk body balm from creme, vanilla creme brûlée body lotion from hempz (this one smells like HEAVEN), and fresh cream by philosophy. i rly loved the nyx marshmallow primer and for fragrance the soft and dreamy scent from victorias secret PINK (it just gives me so much nostalgia around this season 💗🍬)
DRESS TO IMPRESS NEW UPDATE ;
dress to impress is every hottie's favorite game, and when DTI dropped its halloween update, everyone including myself was so super STOKED about it. there are new codes and SO many new possibilities unlocked. speaking of codes…💬🎀
❤︎ CH00P1E_1S_B4CK (boots, jacket and skirt)
❤︎ UMOYAE (skater dress)
❤︎ D1ORST4R (star purse and hair bow)
❤︎ S3M_0W3N_Y4Y (axe weapon)
OCTOBER IT GIRL ACTIVITIES ;
like i said in the first section of this month's magazine, i associate october with PARTIES and ik a lot of us are going to halloween parties so i just wanted to share some rules of thumb especially if its ur first party, on how to have fun while also being safe.
make sure that u have a designated driver at all times
don't overdo it with the drinks, thats never hot
make sure u have ice cold water to sip on, on the car ride home
be careful, make sure that drinks are poured in front of u or you get them yourself
dont party by yourself GO WITH A FRIEND U TRUST AND STICK TOGETHER
and of course have fun 🍭 this year im dressing up as the white rabbit from alice in wonderland so im super excited to look cute and have fun with my friends
if partying is not ur thing there are SO many fun things that you can do this october. for example binge watching october movies, or doing fall related activities like we talked about in last month's section. some movies that i love to watch in october are
♡ jennifer's body
♡ ginger snaps
♡ scream
♡ the love witch
i dont usually watch things that are too scary which is why my list is so short 😭 i get scared rly easily so i try and watch movies that aren't SO scary but if you like that there are some rly good ones out there.

A Dance In The Dark
Joel Miller x f!Reader
Summary: Joel has always taken care of you. Always been your kind, attentive protector. And that doesn’t change, even when you read a scene from a dark romance novel and discover your tastes may be a bit more sordid than you once thought. MASTERLIST
You don’t tell him right away. Don’t tell him at all, really.
Joel discovers your peculiar fascination all on his own.
He’s late coming home from work. His dinner sits on a plate in the microwave, leftovers packaged and put in the fridge for his lunch tomorrow. His lack of punctuality is nothing new, but you’ve always been good at filling the time and finding a distraction while you wait for him.
On this particular night, you’ve changed out of your clothes and into one of his T-shirts, nestled into a soft cocoon on his side of the bed, book in hand. The tea in your mug on your nightstand has gone tepid, too lost between the pages to consume anything but the content in a timely manner.
You’d found it in the horror section, a book written by a name you’d never heard of, a story of a young woman’s abduction with overarching themes of perseverance and self-discovery. You find it a bit graphic from time to time, the details of her torment vivid and lifelike. But that’s to be expected in a horror novel and doesn’t surprise you.
The part that does surprise you, however, is the romantic undercurrent between the woman and her captor. He makes declarations of love, fully admitting his obsession with the young woman, claiming to want nothing from her but her own empowerment.
It’s an even bigger surprise when you reach the halfway point and discover that your horror novel is also an erotica. And the text is well-written, pulling you into its depths, and you think it might be the craziest yet best book you’ve ever read if for nothing else than the way it makes your heart race behind your ribcage.
“Is it that good?”
His voice startles you so badly the book falls from your hands and into your lap. “What?”
Joel laughs, a soft sound of amusement. “I’ll take that as a yes,” he says, toeing off his shoes. He leans over the edge of the bed to press his lips to your forehead, and you find yourself swimming in the subtle affection.
And you know it’s because you’ve been reading smut for the last three hours straight, but the feel of his lips against your skin is heavenly. You abandon the book, tucking the edge of the dust jacket inside the pages to mark your place and discarding it onto the nightstand. It’s second nature as you twist your hands into the soft fabric of his flannel and pull him close.
He smells like pine and sawdust and sweat. His hands are rough and calloused as he cradles your face, lips turning upwards against yours. When you deepen the kiss, sliding your soft tongue against his, Joel laughs again, a little darker this time. He pulls away and the loss makes you whimper because you need him. And the bastard knows it. Because when his gaze roams over your face, lingering on your lips, there’s a heavy undertone of lust behind the playfulness. “S’alright, sweet girl,” he says gently. “None of that whinin’. M’gonna take care of you like I always do. Just wanna know what’s brought this on is all.”
You’re not sure you can admit the truth to him. And even more than that, you don’t have the words to explain that what’s got you so worked up is a scene in your book where the main character is being chased through the woods, her captor wearing a Halloween mask, under the pretense that if he catches her, he’s going to fuck her. Your cheeks warm at just the idea of such an admission, so instead you say, “I just missed you is all.”
Joel doesn’t believe it for a second. He knows you like the back of his hand and sees easily through the lie. And when he glances at your book on the nightstand twice, you know you’ve been caught before he even says a word. “Thought that was one of those scary books you like.”
“It is,” you tell him. Because, technically, it’s the truth.
He narrows his eyes at you, that all-knowing smirk still plastered on his face. “Yeah? Bein’ scared’s what’s got you all squirmy like this?”
As much as you’d like to deny it, to argue his assessment, Joel leans over a little further and his weight on top of you, heavy and sure and safe, makes your breath catch in your lungs. Warmth pools low in your belly and that low, husky tone in his voice only makes matters worse.
“Think whatever’s in that book’s got you all worked up. What’s it about, baby? Hm?” Joel shoves the blanket out of the way and slides his hand between your body and his. You don’t think you’ll ever get used to the feeling of his hands on you, the contrast of his roughness against all your softest parts. It’s like the first time every time, and you can feel the steady thump of your heart as it hammers behind your sternum.
Heat rises up your chest when his hand touches your favorite spot, already knowing what he’s going to say. You’re drenched, the insides of your thighs slick with excitement. Joel breathes out a tell-tale hiss at the feeling, pulling back to glance down at you. Humor is suddenly nowhere to be found on his face, no smirks or teasing words. Just dark, hot lust, turning Joel’s eyes black.
“Christ,” Joel groans, continuing to explore between your legs.
You don’t want to tell him what the book’s about, and thankfully he seems to forget he’d asked the question as his long fingers find their place, curling inside of you.
Joel keeps his promise. He takes care of the ache for you like he always does. He makes you finish on his fingers and his tongue and when he finally sinks deep inside you it feels like relief. You warm up leftovers for him afterward, and he doesn’t pressure you about talking about your book. Instead, he tells you about his day while the two of you sit at the kitchen table and the light of his love fills you from the inside out.
You finish the book in less than two days, but its content lives in your head for far longer.
Showering, cooking, running errands - you find yourself thinking about that scene in the woods so often you begin to wonder if it’s altered your brain chemistry.
That weekend you go out for drinks with a couple of girlfriends, letting Joel know you’ll likely be late coming home. He makes you promise to call him if you need a ride and says he’s going to invite Tommy over to watch the game.
It’s nothing out of the ordinary. Joel’s little brother practically lived with the two of you until Maria stepped into the picture, and you pinky swear to call if you need him.
You don’t, though. You spend more time gossiping and laughing and catching up than you do drinking. But it’s dark when you pull into the driveway, and though you don’t see Tommy’s truck you assume Joel might have picked him up and you fully expect to see him standing in your kitchen with a hand in the fridge grabbing another beer.
Tommy’s nowhere to be found, though. And there’s no referee calling shots on the flat screen. There’s no sound at all, in fact. At first, it alarms you. But then you see Joel sprawled out on the couch in sweatpants and a navy blue t-shirt with a book in his hand.
He glances up from the pages only long enough to smile up at you and say, “Hey, sweetheart. Have a good time?”
You hesitate, watching him from where you stand at the doorway. Joel read occasionally, but only if he needed to. If he wanted to learn a new song on guitar, if he had taken on a new car project and had to teach himself how to repair it. He didn’t read for luxury.
“Yeah, it was nice. What about you? Where’s Tommy?” you questioned, tiptoeing over to where Joel was spread out. The book was positioned in a way that didn’t allow you to see its cover, but it most definitely wasn’t one of Joel’s manuals.
Joel turned to grin at you, his eyes scanning your body, stopping to look at the frown on your lips.
“He canceled, ditched me to hang out with Maria,” he huffed, rolling his eyes. Your frown deepened as you moved closer to Joel, still eyeing the book in his hand that was conveniently covered by his large palms.
“Why didn’t you tell me? I would’ve come back sooner,” you said, reaching down to run your palm through his gray-streaked hair. You had convinced him to stop touching up his roots, some sick part of you loving how mature he looked.
“I didn’t wanna interrupt. ‘Sides, I wanted to see what got you all worked up the other night,” Joel explained casually, finally exposing the book he was holding. All of the colors left your face as you processed what was happening, that he was more than halfway done with the story. Joel was well into reading the disturbing erotica, but somehow still hadn’t put it down.
“This is some dark stuff. You’re telling me that this is what had you drippin’? Had you clenched around me, legs shaking?” Joel asked, breaking heavy eye contact with you to go back to reading.
“Come on, Joel. Give it back,” you whined, reaching down to pull it out of his hands. The word embarrassed didn’t cover how you truly felt. Mortified was a better fit.
He wrestled around in your hold, turning his back to you and shielding the book with his body. “Not yet, I’m just about to reach the good part. I wanna know what happens when he catches her.”
Maybe not mortified. You were fucking humiliated. Tears threatened to spill as you reached down, pawing at Joel’s arms to grab the book. “Stop it. It’s just a stupid fantasy, I know it’s dumb.”
Joel glanced back to see the wetness filling your eyes, instantly releasing his grip so you could take the book back. His large palm reached up to cradle your face, to comfort you.
“Hey now, I never said it was dumb. I didn’t mean to upset you. I guess I never really knew you were into that kind of stuff. Nothing’s wrong with it.”
His words are sincere and make you feel a little bit better, but you still feel ashamed that Joel had read the book. You know he’d never judge you, but it feels like your closest kept secret has been thrust into the light without your permission. Warmth spreads over your face, down your neck, twisting your stomach into knots. “I know but I…I just didn’t expect you to read it.”
“Then I won’t,” he says quickly, pushing himself up off the couch. He places a warm hand on the side of your neck and says again, “I won’t. I promise. No tears baby, alright?”
You nod and sniffle, trusting him, knowing that his words hold sincerity. Exhaling a long breath, you try to shove the mortification away and focus instead on this man before you who loves you enough to learn everything about you, even the things best kept hidden.
Joel gives you the book and you shove it in the back of your side of the closet, hidden beneath a shoe box. He helps you out of your dress and showers with you, washing your hair while you tell him all about girls’ night and the newest gossip.
After, when you’re both cozy in bed, wrapped up tight in his strong arms, stealing his warmth with your cold feet against his legs, you think maybe you might’ve overreacted about the book. You know Joel would never judge you, not even about this. You think maybe the embarrassment comes from somewhere within, that maybe it’s more like insecurity than shame. And so you say, “I’m sorry about earlier. You can finish the story if you want.”
Joel presses a kiss into your hair. “Not really my type of book, anyhow.”
Even though he says it mostly to comfort you, the words make you laugh. You bury your face into the crook of his neck and can feel the vibration of his amusement as he shares the moment with you.
And when you both settle enough to speak again, his voice is a little quieter as he asks, “You want me to do that to you?”
This time you fight your shame. Wrap it up tight and store it away for something else, something more worthy than a peculiar taste. You think about yourself in place of the main character, running between thick tree trunks with dead leaves crunching beneath your feet.
You think of Joel in place of the woman’s captor, mask over his face, presence dark and looming as he seeks you out. A shiver runs down your spine, so sharp and demanding that your body trembles in his hold.
“S’okay if you do,” he murmurs. You can feel each word through his chest, a delicious tremor against your suddenly too-hot skin. Joel lifts his hand and brushes your hair gently away from your face, thumb tracing the outline of your lips. “Know it did somethin’ to you. Turned you real greedy the other day. Hm?”
Arousal pools low in your belly, and you can hear your heart in your ears. You think he could convince you to do anything when he talks like that, voice low and gravelly. “Maybe,” you say. “I don’t know.”
“Read another part,” he whispers. His thumb travels slowly down your chin, over the curve of your jaw, down the column of your throat. “He’s got that switchblade in his hand. Touches her real nice, all sweet and loving. But he keeps that blade right…” Joel drags his index finger slowly across your neck. “ Here .”
The sound that escapes you is more than need, it’s something else entirely; more like desperation. You didn’t think it was possible to want him any more than you already do but this Joel who strikes just the right amount of fear in you? He makes your mouth water, makes you tremble and shake with just the caress of a single touch.
He grips the back of your thigh with his free hand, pulling you close, pressing you tight against the growing erection behind the cotton fabric of his boxers. Joel’s always been insatiable for you, sometimes getting worked up just from staring at you too long. But you begin to wonder if this is something he wants, too. “Should take you out someplace real nice,” he mutters. “Get all dressed up. You can wear that pretty pink sundress I like. Take you out to a nice dinner, treat you so fuckin’ good…an’ when the sun sets, I’d drive you someplace real dark. Let you loose.”
Even though he’s barely touching you, thumb stroking the skin of your hip gently, your clit pulses between your legs, hips shifting against him of their own accord. Your breath comes fast and labored and you think you’ve never been this fucking wet before—never wanted him so bad . It feels like you can’t think, can’t breathe without it, without Joel .
“Give you a head start,” he continues. “Long enough for me to put a mask on. Wouldn’t even let you see it ‘til I catch you…An’ I will catch you, sweet girl…but you’d have no way of knowin’ who it was. Could be me. Could be anyone.”
The idea is filthy and disgusting but your body doesn’t seem to mind. Your spine arches, breasts pressing up against his chest. Joel lays there stone still, holding you, letting you rut against him like a woman starved. “ Please ,” is all you manage to choke out. He hardly acknowledges the word, but you can feel the smirk form on his lips against the shell of your ear.
“I’d fuck the good girl right out of you,” he says. “Fuck you ‘til you’re nothin’ but a dumb little slut.”
“Jesus— Joel .” He's degraded you before, but it’s never been like this, never felt like this. You reach between your bodies and palm his cock in your hand, and a dark laugh leaves him as he helps you.
In a few quick movements, he pulls himself out of his boxers, shoves your panties to the side, and sinks his cock inside of you, filling you so full it hurts . But you don’t care, because there’s nothing more you need than this, and thankfully he understands. Like he always does .
Joel fucks you right then and there, whispering filthy things all the while, and you think he’s always understood you. Maybe even more than you’re able to understand yourself. Older and wiser and gracious—always giving you exactly what you need, exactly what you want.
Before you fall asleep that night, he kisses you softly and asks, “Do you want me to tell you before it happens? To warn you?”
You’re not sure how to answer at first. Because the concept as a whole terrifies you; it’s new and foreign and dangerous. And you think you might need the warning to calm yourself enough to enjoy it.
But you trust Joel. More than anyone else in the world, you know he’ll always keep you safe. You know he’d never do anything to hurt you.
And so, you pull the blankets tighter around your shoulders and say, “No. I want it to be a surprise.”
That night, you dream about a man chasing you through darkness whose hands feel more familiar than your own. You think about it for the next week. Daydreaming at work, while you’re making dinner, while you’re driving to run errands. It’s all you can think about, the only thing that fills the gaps of silence in your day-to-day life.
You wait. And wait. And wait .
Joel tells you Friday night that he’ll have to work overtime this weekend to make up for a lost part shipment. Nothing new, nothing out of the ordinary. Saturday morning he encourages you to sleep in, kisses your forehead before he leaves, tells you he loves you. And despite no inclination from him, you have a feeling that today is the day.
When you wake up a little while later, the sun casts shadows through the blinds, and you notice that Joel’s placed that pink sundress on his side of the bed. Laid it out for you.
You shower and groom yourself, mentally preparing for the moment it finally happens. It has to be today. And if Joel is lucky and planned it out right, he’d find out that you opted out of wearing panties underneath the sundress. He’d find you slick, shaved, aching in anticipation.
He notices your nervous excitement when he comes home from work, late and covered in sweat from a long day. You’re practically bouncing on your heels, having spent the entire day filling the time, waiting for his arrival. The sun had already started to set in the distance - you probably only had about an hour left of the day.
Please, God, let it be today .
“Sorry I’m late, sweetheart. Had an electrician cancel last minute, left me scramblin’ to get the project covered. I didn’t mean to keep you waiting,” he muttered into your lips as he greeted you. His arms wrapped around you, his body warm and hot against the thin fabric of your dress.
“That’s okay,” you say. “Everything go to plan other than that?”
“Sure did. Finally finished up that warehouse over on Cherry Street. Figured I’d go out and celebrate.”
You find yourself deflating at the words. Because, usually, Joel celebrating the end of a big project means the involvement of Tommy, too. And if Tommy’s there, then tonight is decidedly not the night.
Joel seems to notice the change in your demeanor. He places his hand on the side of your face and drags his thumb down your jutting bottom lip, releasing it with a wet pop . “Wouldn’t be a celebration unless I had a pretty little girl to buy a drink, now would it?”
Either way, even if it’s not tonight, you know you’ll enjoy the time with him like you always do. So you shelve your disappointment and timidly ask, “Will it be…just the two of us? Did you want to invite anyone else?”
He shakes his head, a playful spark glinting in his warm eyes. “Nah. Just wanna take my baby out. Give me a minute to change and we’ll head out. Sound good?”
You know your nod of approval probably looks too hopeful, too excited, but you can’t find it in yourself to care. Not with this golden excitement fills you to the brim, the anticipation making your hands tingle.
It only takes Joel ten minutes to change out of his work clothes and into a nice pair of jeans and a flannel, but it feels like forever. He asks you about your day while he drives to your favorite restaurant, and listens intently even though you have nothing interesting to say other than the fact that you’ve changed the curtain on the window above the dining room table.
He opens the car door for you and holds your hand as he directs you through the crowd at the restaurant, and orders for you when the waiter comes over. Even though you get the same thing every time, the gesture makes you feel small and safe and cared for.
You drink a glass of wine, and he tries out some sort of hoppy beer. Joel tells you about a song he heard on the radio that he wants to learn on guitar, but while you try to listen all you can think about is what comes after this.
A million thoughts run rampant through your head. He hasn’t said anything about it, hasn’t given you any hints besides laying the sundress out for you, but the rush of it all weighs heavy on your chest. Paired with the lowered inhibitions from the wine and you interrupt him to say, “Joel. Can you just…can you tell me? I changed my mind. I want to know so bad.”
That playfulness returns to his eyes. He tilts his head the smallest bit and leans over the table to hear your whispered words. “Tell you what?”
“You know ,” you insist. “Don’t make me say it here.” Despite the embarrassment that climbs your cheeks as you listen to the chatter around you, you can’t wipe the grin from your face. You try to hide it behind your hand instead.
“Can’t say I know what you’re gettin’ at here, girl,” he says. But that knowing smirk says otherwise. You can see the challenge in his eyes, the push for you to ask the question you’ve been swallowing down all night.
Folding your arms on the edge of the table, you lean in as close as you can and ask so softly, “Are you taking me to the woods tonight?”
He smiles—a big, toothy show of enjoyment, and leans back in the booth. Joel’s big, you’ve always known it…but seeing him now, shoulders broad and rugged, arms straining beneath the cotton sleeves of his flannel… God , he makes you weak. You can feel yourself flush beneath his scrutinization. Can feel the familiar stickiness of your arousal begin to gather between your legs, too. “An’ why would I do that, sweetheart? Ain’t nothin’ out there for a little thing like you.”
The wine is sweet on your tongue as you take the last sip and shrug casually, pretending as if your hands don’t tremble with anticipation. You try to put on a show of confidence. “Never know,” you say. “Could be a big, bad wolf out there that needs hunting down.”
Joel laughs at that, but he’s waving down the next waiter he sees for the check.
When you leave the restaurant, you realize now the sun has fully set and the darkness has descended. The moon hands high in the sky, the only illumination granted apart from the headlight of Joel’s truck. He helps you into the passenger side and buckles you in, hands gentle and caring, always taking care of you.
Pressing a kiss to your shoulder, he asks a single-word question. One you know is likely equally for his comfort as it is yours. “Okay?”
You are. Despite the fear that begins to rise in your chest, knowing the impending events likely to unfold, despite the shadows and the traversing of the unknown, you know that you’ll always be safe with Joel. “I’m good,” you promise.
He drives for far longer than you expect. Past every stoplight, outside of the city limits, weaving through the backroads until you’re well and truly lost. Every time you pass a wooded area you think he’ll slow to a stop, but he doesn’t. And every moment fuels the adrenaline coursing through you, ratcheting both your panic and excitement to immeasurable heights.
When he does finally stop, pulling off to the side of a road you swear you’ve never been down before, your heart is beating so fast you can hear it in your ears.
He pulls the key from the ignition and the lights cut out, wrapping the both of you in complete darkness. You can make him out just enough, though. Enough to see the predatory look on his face, enough to sense the danger you’ve placed yourself in.
Your mouth goes dry and your brain goes fuzzy as you watch Joel reach into his pants pocket, pulling out a switchblade that glimmers in the moonlight. The small knife makes a snapping noise when it opens, gleaming, taunting you. Excitement buzzed through your body, a nagging voice in the back of your head screaming to run.
“Better get a move on,” Joel whispers, his face shadowed and lips pressed into a grim line. The energy had shifted so quickly that you were uncertain what to do. Even if you did try to run, you doubted that your shaking body would make it very far.
A brooding intensity surrounded Joel, and even though he barely moved to reach back and grab something out of the back seat, the air still felt tense with a silent warning. In his free hand was a gas mask, worn and frayed. The round, glass eye lenses were clouded, displaying its years of disuse. He reached up with one hand to slip the mask down his face, leaving only his eyes revealed.
The white-hot heat that was burning through your veins somehow ignited even further when he finally locked eyes with you. Joel’s eyes were narrowed, carrying a different energy behind them; one that was full of mischief and lust. The moment lasted for a couple of beats…
One, two, three…
And then Joel’s hand snapped out, reaching rapidly to lock around your wrist. Thinking, breathing; none of it mattered. The only thing on your mind was running, some animalistic survival instinct that you didn’t know still existed within you taking over. Your wrist easily slipped out of his grip as you flung open the car door, escaping Joel and running into the dark forest.
There was a chill in the air that made your breath fan out in front of you while you ran, your heavy footsteps practically echoing through the woods. Every couple of moments you would stop and glance around, attempting to see through the endless rows of trees. You didn’t see anything and only heard the sound of your own breathing.
Joel could be scary when he wanted to. Like that one time, a couple weeks into knowing him. Some asshole had followed you around the grocery store late one evening, trailing behind aisle after aisle until your hands were shaking in fear. Joel was one of the only people you had befriended in town since you were new to the area.
He’d showed up five minutes after you’d called him, despite the fact that you knew he lived over ten minutes away. Joel approached the man, and you were grateful that you weren’t the one he was speaking to. Despite not hearing his words from where you were standing, you could see the dark anger on his face, a look that made your blood run cold.
The guy who was following you left immediately after, scurrying off with his tail between his legs. Joel followed you home in his truck even though your apartment was on the other side of town. He’d never been scary to you .
Until now.
Joel’s body came out of nowhere, grabbing you and yanking you against him. The switchblade pressed onto your throat, your heartbeat pounding against the cold metal. You couldn’t see Joel since his vice-grip had your back pushed on his chest.
“You call that running?” he asked, letting his fingers skate down the skin of your thigh, just under the low cut of your sundress. His calloused fingertips caught against your soft skin, raising higher and higher.
“I think you wanted me to catch you. Here you are, lettin’ me rub on you like the little slut I knew you were. I haven’t even properly touched you yet, but you’re already spreading your legs for me.”
Your face warmed at his degrading words. He was right. The excitement of the story wasn’t only the anticipation, but it was the thrill of the hunt. As much as you wanted Joel to touch you, to make your vision blur just from using his fingers, you knew you couldn’t give in so easily.
With all of your strength, you push away both of his hands, ripping out of his grip. He reached down to grab you but you snatched his shirt instead, pulling at it fiercely in an attempt to dodge under him. You heard the fabric rip, but you were too afraid to really acknowledge it.
You took it as an opportunity to escape, dodging Joel’s grasp. You wasted no time in steadying yourself before sprinting away, only sparing a quick glance back to see Joel. His shirt was half ripped, the gas mask blocking any form of expression on his face.
“Damn, baby,” Joel spoke. He stood, shrugging off his flannel before using the switchblade to finish ripping the fabric of his shirt. “If you wanted me to get naked, you should’ve just said so.”
As much as you wanted to watch the way Joel’s chest flexed in the moonlight, you couldn’t handle any distractions. You had to run.
And you did run for what felt like hours. By the time you stopped for a moment, your heartbeat was in your throat and you could feel a slick mess building between your thighs. Your legs were speckled with dirt and pieces of leaves from the way you were kneeling on the ground, searching for Joel.
You didn’t see anything extraordinary through the branches of the forest, but you heard something. A snap.
It was enough to get you back on your feet in an attempt to flee.
You couldn’t see him, but you could feel him. Though your eyes betrayed you, you could sense his closeness, could sense the space between you lessening with each passing moment. Sweat beads at your hairline and your panting echoes between the trees.
The cracking sound of wood beneath his heavy work boots cuts through the deafening silence, and you turn abruptly and throw yourself in the opposite direction. But Joel’s fast, too fast .
He catches up to you in a second, and you know you won’t get lucky twice, yet still you try. You push your legs as hard as you can, running as fast as you can, trying to navigate the uneven terrain.
Joel’s fingertips grasp your shoulder, and you pull away from him so violently you lose your balance, scraping your knees against the rough forest floor.
You quickly turn onto your back, kicking yourself away from him, trying to see through the thick fog of terror in your mind. His slow breaths sound mechanical through the gas mask’s respirator. He looms over you menacingly, looking every bit the wicked man you know he can be.
His shoulders rise and fall slowly, his breaths even while you struggle to catch yours. He tilts his head, a predator indulging in the chase.
And you know right then that you’ve been caught. Stuck in the spider’s web with no hope of extraction. Your voice shakes when you speak. “Joel?”
There’s no softness in him now. None of that gentle ease he always has with you. He lowers himself to the ground, knees on either side of your hips, and grabs for your hands.
You struggle against his hold, even knowing it’s useless. He wraps a calloused palm around your wrists and squeezes tight, and when you buck your hips up against him, trying to wiggle out from beneath his heavy weight, it serves no purpose but to further diminish the little energy remaining in your weary limbs.
Joel raises your arms above your head, pushing your too-sensitive skin deep into the earth, trapping you in place. You can hear the clicking of his tongue behind the mask. “Stupid little girl,” he says. “Never had a chance. Did you?”
His voice is muffled, deeper. You know it’s Joel. Behind the fear, behind the adrenaline, you know it’s him. But it doesn’t sound like him, not in the way you’re so accustomed to, and it sends a chill down your spine.
He adjusts his position, sliding down your legs just enough to grip the bottom of your dirt-stained sundress and rip it upwards. The air feels like ice against your center, slick with your arousal. You clit pulses with need, despite the way you still fight him, struggling nonsensically in his tight hold. “Look at how fuckin’ wet you are, baby,” he says. “Haven’t even touched you yet an’ that pretty pussy’s just fuckin’ crying for it, ain’t she?”
Your spine bends, arching off the ground. The sounds that leave your mouth are animalistic, a desperate whimpering, a wanton need.
And then suddenly his hand is tangled in your hair, pulling hard at the roots, holding your head up just enough to witness your exposure. “I said look ,” Joel grits out. “Want you to watch just how fuckin’ selfish she is. You listenin’ to me?”
“Yes— yes, ” you choke out. The muscles in your neck strain to keep your head held high enough to see the moment he lets go of your hair. But you heard him loud and clear, and you do just as he says.
His hand slips between your legs, and you fight the urge to let squeeze your eyes shut as his fingers slide over your clit. He circles it roughly and you can feel yourself clench around nothing, your body begging to be filled, begging for Joel . He uses the perfect amount of pressure, deft fingers moving fast, and it takes less than a minute before that familiar warmth begins to trickle in.
But you want more, you always want more, and so you find yourself lifting your hips upwards, trying to shift his hand lower, trying to let him know right where you need him most.
Joel laughs. A sick, maniacal sound that sends a cold flood of terror through you. “See? What’d I say? Fuckin’ greedy ,” he says. You know it’s meant to be an insult, but there’s a strange fondness as he says it. An undertone of worship.
You sigh out his name, unable to form another word, forgetting all else that came before this moment, disregarding all things that may come after. All that matters is this, all that matters is him .
“She wants it so bad,” he murmurs. “An’ I’m gonna give it to her.” His movements are cruel and almost painful as he turns you over, pulling your hips out from under him. Joel shifts your wrists to his other hand and sets them against the small of your back, using his free hand to force your head down. The earthy smell of decaying leaves greets you, and you greedily suck in cold breaths of air, trying to will your heart to slow its racing.
You can’t see his movements but you can feel him shift behind you, and a second later can hear the familiar clink of his belt buckle and the swish as he rips it from the loops of his jeans. The bite of leather is harsh as he winds it around your wrists, tightening it in a familiar, practiced way.
“Joel,” you breathe out. It sounds like a plea in your ears, and maybe it is. Because everything is too much, too intense . You need all of him, you think. Need the wickedness, that dark thing he’s been hiding all this time. But you need your Joel, too. The one who buckles you in, who kisses your forehead before he leaves for work in the morning. The one you know will always keep you safe, even when he defiles you. “ Joel ,” you say again.
His hands freeze on your hips, and you can feel the warmth radiating from his skin as he leans over and presses his cheek to yours. He waits for you to speak, giving you as long as you need to sort through the heightened emotions.
Your brain feels like mush and you struggle to form a coherent thought that’s more than one or two words strung together. You know you’re terrified. But you know, too, that you don’t want him to stop. And so all you manage to say is a barely audible, “I love you.”
He cradles your head in his hand, thumb stroking gently over your temple. And then he runs his nose over the curve of your jaw, and though he doesn’t say it, doesn’t break the spell he’s so carefully created in order to indulge your wildest fantasies, you know that no one has ever loved anyone the way that Joel Miller loves you.
But just as quickly as that gentleness appeared, it vanishes into nothing like the fog of your breath in the cold air.
“Gonna show you what happens when little girls roam into the woods,” he says. You can feel his erection as he presses it against you, heavier and harder than you think it’s ever been before. “Can try an’ hunt down the big bad wolf all you want. But if he catches you …”
You’re a trembling mess in his strong hands. His words are the only beacon keeping you grounded, you’re certain of it.
The metal teeth of his zipper grate as he pulls it down and undoes the button of his jeans, pulling his cock out. He slides the head through your arousal, coating himself in your slick. “Just know, whatever he decides to do with you is gonna hurt .”
And then he’s pushing his length into you in one smooth movement, leaving you no time to adjust to the size of him. The stretch is painful and foreboding, every muscle in your body tensing up at the impact. “ Fuck— oh my God —”
“Can pray all you want, but there’s no one out here to save you,” he spits. Joel doesn’t give you a single second to breathe before he’s rocking his hips into you, setting a punishing pace. You can feel his cock throb inside you, can feel that he’s enjoying this just as much as you are.
You grit your teeth against the pain of it, fingers flexing in his grip. “ Joel —I can’t—!”
“Yes, you can, baby,” he says, voice low and echoing. “I know you can. So shut up and fuckin’ take it.” He leans over you, pressing the side of your face into the ground. You can taste moss and earth but with each thrust, the pain is quickly subsiding, replaced instead with a blinding pleasure.
That warmth builds again, coiling around your spine. Pressure builds quickly and you can feel yourself dripping around him, making a mess of the coarse hair above his cock. “Joel— fuck .”
He reaches on hand around your hip, easily finding your clit and strumming it with swift, practiced movements. You clench around him and he lets out a deep groan in response. When he leans forward and tells you, “Open your mouth,” you do so immediately, brain fuzzy and overstimulated, unwilling to do anything unless he tells you to.
Joel slides two of his fingers into your mouth and shoves them so far down you nearly choke. It’s instinctual when you close your swollen lips around him and suck.
You can hear the smile in his words as he speaks. “There you go,” he mutters. “Told you how this would go, didn’t I? Told you what would happen. Nothin’ but a dumb little slut for me now, baby, hm? Yeah?”
All you can do is nod, unable to form a single coherent thought. Your orgasm hits hard and fast, almost unexpected. It washes through you, electricity dancing beneath your prickling skin. Your moans reverberate through the trees, and you’re suddenly glad he’s driven you so far out so no one can hear you.
“Oh, she likes that ,” Joel says, talking you through it, circling your clit and fucking into you a little harder. “Likes the way it feels to be all full’a me, hm? Yeah, there you go. Gonna give this pretty pussy just what she needs.”
His rhythm falters, staggering just the smallest bit. And while he’s just given you the best orgasm of your fucking life, there’s something about this that makes you feel finally satisfied, full in a way you’ve never been before.
The moment he bottoms out inside of you, Joel turns you on your back and pulls the mask off of his face. His cheeks are flushed and rosy, but there’s a sense of completion in his eyes that you’re sure is mirrored in your own. He kisses your cheeks, your forehead, the bridge of your nose.
And all you can say is, “Oh my God.”
Joel laughs. It’s one of those full, good-natured belly laughs. Your favorite kind. “Well? Was I better than your book?”
You cover your face with your hands, muffling your giggles between your fingers. “Much better.”

Hob is a pet sitter who is called in to watch over a house while the owner is out. He usually cares for dogs and cats but this person has birds! Ravens, actually with a beautiful enclosure.
Hob walks into the house and immediately is hit by the most mouthwatering scent he’s ever smelled. It almost sends him into heat right away. But he has to stay. He can’t leave the birds to starve.
The alpha whose house he’s in is also beautiful and well decorated. He clearly has excellent taste and some family money. Hob wanders the house in his spare time, dreaming about whoever’s house it is. Maybe dreaming that it’s his alpha.
Hob does his best to hold out but on the tail end of the visit his body can’t take it. His hormones believe he is in the presence of a very eligible alpha—he goes into heat.
He does his best to clean and scrub everything down but there is nothing to be done. He leaves a very apologetic note and has to hope this alpha isn’t mad.
Meanwhile Dream comes back from visit his sister to very healthy ravens and is smacked in the face with the scent of an omega in heat all over his house. Dream is willing to cross all kinds of lines to find the omega who took such good care of Matthew and Jessamy—and who smells absolutely perfect.
Anon this is an AMAZING concept.
Dream comes back home and immediately has an absolute crisis. He's never really felt any attraction to an omega's scent before, but apparently there was a completely incredible one in his house for 2 weeks?! He's absolutely desperate. If only Matthew and Jessamy could talk, they might be able to tell him about the illusive omega, alas they can only croak their sympathy (they liked Hob a lot and miss him already). All Dream has to go on in his search is Hob’s handwriting (which is adorably scruffy) and the pet sitting agency... who of course refuse to give out any personal information.
So, after a month... Dream is desperate, and he tells the agency that he wants to hire a pet sitter again. He would prefer the same one as last time, since they know his birds well by now. Hob, who was nervous that the alpha of the house might be mad at him, is super relieved to be offered the job! On the first day he heads around to Dream’s place, lets himself in and... there's Dream. Standing awkwardly in the hallway.
Hob may be an omega but he's no wallflower, and he gives Dream 30 seconds to explain himself before he calls the agency. But the trouble is, Hob is also a romantic at heart, and Dream’s stuttered apologies and desperation really do work on him. Plus Dream’s scent is even more delicious in person, and he wants to see the ravens again...
Their scents are perfect when they combine together and fill the entire house. The smell of satisfied omega and love-struck alpha is overpowering, especially when Hob’s next heat comes early again (like his body just knows that its time for his mate to claim him). This time Dream gets to fuck him on every surface in the house... and he certainly won't be cleaning and scrubbing down afterwards. The whole world needs to know that Hob is HIS.
Matthew and Jessamy are thrilled, but they wish that someone would invent raven sized earplugs. Please.

series masterlist | chapter two
chapter summary: Steve brings his daughter to her first day of Kindergarten.
the song: My Girl by The Temptations
6,251 words | please see the masterlist for warnings! | my blog is 18+
Steve can’t be sure if the sigh that escapes his lips and clouds up in front of him is due to the anticipation of the inevitable sticky situation that’s about to occur or annoyance in himself for continuing to provide her the jam. He supposes it could just be a sigh of acceptance, finally coming to terms with the new and almost constant state of his hair lately. Most likely though, it’s just a content, tiny burst of affection.
Because that’s the overwhelming feeling that blooms in his chest when sticky, sweet strawberry smelling fingers land in his freshly styled hair. His eyes flit up from the green sparkly laces between his fingers to see her tiny lips forming her patented pout.
Hair a bit lighter than his, curls slightly in a mind of its own kind of way beneath little pig tails, bouncing just above shoulders that are tucked up to her ears as she tilts her head to look around his. Big, curious eyes that he claims are like her mom’s, but everyone is adamant are also a carbon copy of his too - just like her nose that scrunches all too familiarly, dotted with tiny freckles that seem to multiple every day.
Steve taps the side of Charlie’s ankle as he finishes the first bow, and she sticks her other foot out for him, yellow lights at the center of daisies flashing as she stomps it down on the gravel. He glances back up to find her eyes still trained on the playground behind him, the furrow between her eyebrows only growing deeper as her fingers tug in his hair - either for his full attention like it isn’t already on her, or the aforementioned jam predicament, he isn’t sure.
“Daddy?”
He finishes the second bow, and removes her hands from his hair gently, running his thumb over the back of her knuckles and he sighs again. She is so sticky.
Steve shakes his head at his own thoughts and releases her hands to search his pockets, the other chucks the side of his knuckle under her chin.
“Talk to me, Goose.”
Her pout disappears, a giggle slips past her lips just like always, but it’s not long lasting when a shriek comes from the playground behind him. Her voice lowers as she asks in a wobbly tone, “Who will do the underdogs?”
“Well, uh, I’m sure your teacher knows how to do them, cutie,” he reassures while his forehead wrinkles and he tries to determine if she’s looking for some reason not to go suddenly or if she’s just genuinely curious. She does take her swings seriously, so it’s not an out of the ordinary question.
Steve finds a napkin, and decides it’ll have to do for now, grimacing as the paper material hits his tongue.
“But what if she can’t, daddy?” Her voice whines as he continues his stand off with the sticky residue.
That’s it. He’s suing Smuckers.
He hums, squeezing her fingers that wiggle between his and the napkin doing absolutely shit all.
“Then we’ll just have to teach her, right? Everyone’s gotta know how to do the underdogs.”
Charlie huffs, but she shrugs her shoulders in some sort of agreement it seems. He wonders how someone so tiny can be full of such complicated emotions, curious thoughts, and brains that he absolutely can’t keep up with, yet still need her shoes tied and someone on jam removal duty most mornings.
Steve stares at her tiny hand in his palm, green sparkles on clear nails that make him swallow down something stuck in his throat, make his free hand run down his nose and swipe underneath it.
Don’t you dare cry, you fucking loser.
But he can’t help but feed the worm that’s been digging deeper and deeper inside of him for months: What if she’s not ready?
And he knows, he really knows, after all the long talks and preparation for this very moment, that it’s him who’s not ready, not her.
She’s so ready, and going to wow the socks off of every teacher with her brilliant and funny little brain and she is the greatest, most precious thing in the world and nothing bad is going to happen to her, dingus.
He recites it to himself over and over, verbatim what Robin told him as he tries to move on to her second hand. But as the gold heart shaped locket dangling from her neck hits his forehead, all he can think is, that starting today, the room full of people he trusts with her safety is expanding. And the problem with opening that door to the room is not Charlie exploring beyond the safe wall’s he’s built, it’s who can get in when he’s not there 24/7 to guard that door.
Visions of flashing Christmas lights, baseball bats meeting gray flesh, Russian guard’s hands and their beady eyes, potentially rabid bats and, you know, just the earth cracking in half and the world almost ending multiple times, while losing people he really cares about, threaten to overtake his mind and he huffs in then out, a quick and calming breath.
Steve wets the napkin with his tongue once more, but pieces of it stick to it this time and he sputters and blows a raspberry, and Charlie’s giggles soothe any worry that was climbing over him like writhing vines.
He let’s go of her hands and makes a bigger show of removing the wet clumps of cardboard tasting napkin from his tongue and coughs loudly. She laughs harder and his eyes widen and his mouth drops in a dramatic gasp.
“Are you laughing at your dad?” He jabs at her sides lightly, tickling and poking her while the napkin falls to the ground and she giggles harder. “Huh? That’s not very nice!”
Steve picks up Charlie, squeezing at her wiggling and gasping body as she laughs so loud he can’t even remember what he was so worried about. He blows a raspberry into her neck so she shrieks in a laughing protest, “Daddy! Too much…” she laughs and wiggles more, gasping around her words, “Too much happy!”
He’ll take the sticky fingers and messed up hair and cardboard taste in his mouth and worrying about another human more than he ever could about himself every day if it means he gets to hear that every once in awhile.
“Mr. Harrington?”
Steve spins at the sound of his name, slowing his tickling. As his body turns and he’s met with your smile, he nearly drops his kid.
You are so pretty.
His mouth goes dry, like the entire napkin is balled up inside of it. He’s sure his cheeks are turning pink from how warm he feels while staring at you. Your fingers wrapped around a bright yellow thermos tap at it while a clipboard rests wedged between your side and elbow. Your light gray tshirt is decorated with sparkly planets and the slogan “Kindergarten is out of this world!” and is tucked into a bright green skirt that he can sense Charlie eyeing appreciatively, though apprehensively from her new residence tucked into his neck.
He runs a palm down Charlie’s spine, reassuring her as you tilt your head and smile wider at her, your nose scrunching up when you do. It takes your kind eyes turning their gaze to him again for him to realize you’ve never met and you were asking if he was Mr. Harrington.
“H-hi. Yeah, I mean yes. I’m Mr. Harrington. I mean, I don’t, kids at school call me that, and I guess parents, but I mean that is my name. I’m Steve, Steve Harrington.”
He squeezes his eyes closed shut as if to erase that moment from existence forever. He can practically see Robin drawing a line on a whiteboard in the ‘You Suck’ column.
Your laugh drags his eyelids open, and it tugs at something inside of his chest that he thought disappeared a long time ago. Your hand extends and he bites his cheek, cursing all jelly and jam brands. He raises his hands up almost in surrender and Charlie clings to his neck harder, her face hidden in his shoulder as the back of her thighs balance in the crook of his elbow.
“I’m afraid we had a bit of a sticky jam situation this morning, so I don’t know if you want to proceed with a handshake.”
Proceed? With a handshake? Dude, you’re killing me here.
Your shoulders shrug, your voice all soft and smooth and a little sleepy as you joke, “They literally make us Kindergarten teachers take a class where they simply throw sticky substances at us, and if you flinch or grimace, you’ll never graduate. It’s all a part of the job.” Your hand clasps around his gently, but in a firm shake, as you introduce yourself, “I’m Miss Honey.”
He can’t help but notice the Miss not a Mrs.
Charlie perks up at your name, her forehead knocks his chin and he blinks rapidly from the sensation and her shout directly in his ear, “You’re my teacher!”
“I am?” You gasp, excited and smiling at her when you do and he thinks he might already be in love with you.
Charlie nods and then exclaims, “Daddy calls me honey!”
Steve fights a smile and his arm wrapped around her waist squeezes as he whispers, “How do we introduce ourselves?”
Charlie beams at him and slides down his front, foot pushing off of his thigh for leverage. She jumps to the ground forcefully, and almost trips and falls face first into the cement.
Steve’s already moving forward in anticipation of big crocodile tears, but stops himself when he sees you don’t move a muscle and simply watch her find her balance. He watches as you bite your lip in a way that tells him you’re hiding a smile as Charlie sticks her hand out towards you.
When you take it, she shakes it and takes a deep breath before slowly reciting, “My name is Charlotte Maxine Harrington. I live at six eight two Poppy Lane and my daddy’s phone number is seven six five four two…five-“
“Woah cutie,” he stops her, hands resting on her shoulders, and kisses the top of her head. “We don’t have to give her the whole speech, how about just the name?”
Crouched down to Charlie’s level now, you tilt your head at her, eyes widening as the tone of your voice turns to something syrupy sweet that he recognizes in the way he talks to her himself sometimes as you ask, “You memorized all of that Charlotte? That’s amazing! And there’s more? A whole speech?!”
She nods, eyes big and wide and voice excited as she hums, “Mhm. For policemans like Mr. Jim and firesmens like Uncle Eddie and teachers like Auntie Robin. Cause every-eveybody calls me Charlie, but if I’m scared and I need help they need my whole name and daddy’s phone number and if any food makes me itchy.”
Steve knows without a shadow of a doubt that not only are his cheeks pink, the tips of his ears are now too when you look up at him with raised eyebrows and something twinkling in your gaze. He clears his throat and focuses on his hand running through Charlie’s curls instead of you.
“Daddy’s gotta make sure his right hand gal’s got all the facts, right?” He kisses the top of her head again, inhaling her L’Oreal mangoes and strawberry and something distinctly his daughter that he is certain would be what the sun smells like if it could be bottled.
She tilts her head back, resting against his dark Levi’s so she can see him. Her grin is wide, showing off dimples she didn’t get from him as she nods again. “Right. Always be pepared.”
Steve brushes his thumb down her nose, and something stings behind his eyes again. He looks back over at you, slowly standing from your crouch with a fond gaze staring back at him. He swallows before his lips part, prepared to tell you that it’s all wrong. He’s not Steve Harrington, this is not Charlie Harrington, and no way is anyone starting Kindergarten today, but Charlie’s shriek never lets the words leave his mouth.
It’s like a bucket of ice cold water dumps over his head as he spins to watch Charlie race towards the parking lot, about to yell far too loud from fear, when she comes to halt right at the curb. Impatiently bouncing as her favorite person waves and runs towards her.
The familiar honey tinged red waves bounce as Robin scoops Charlie up in a hug that can only be comfortable for the two of them, all squeezing and no grace, kissing all over her face as she gushes and fawns over her like she literally didn’t see her last night.
“Hey babe! You look splendidly spectacular this morning! Did you do something different with your hair?”
“No!” Charlie giggles and spins once back on the ground, as if to show off her outfit. Which is pretty cute, if he does say so himself. Robin taps a finger to her chin. She holds up curls and circles Charlie, inspecting.
“Not the hair, not the hair…aha! Your nails! Green nail polish!”
Charlie shakes her head and puts her hands on her hips, and Steve relaxes as she tells her that Auntie Robin you painted them last night and how could she forget already, no it’s not that.
You’re watching him closely when he turns to look back at you, rubbing the back of his neck under your appraisal. Your smile all knowing as you reassure, “She’s gonna be fine, Mr. Harrington. Stopping to look both ways and being aware of cars is first week stuff, she’s a natural. And that speech? Time for you to relax.”
He knows he was never one for hiding how he felt from his facial features, but after having a kid and becoming a teacher, he’s had to learn to keep himself fairly composed. So he’s not sure if you can already read him that well or this is just the speech you give to all the parents. Nonetheless, he smiles back at you.
“I’ve never heard of that word before, what does it mean? Relax?”
Your laughter at his terrible joke makes something in his chest swell, almost as sweet of a sound as Charlie’s. He glances over to see Robin smacking her forehead and exclaiming that oh of course it’s the fabulous new green overalls.
“Also, call me Steve, please,” you smile politely and he knows you won’t, because he does the same thing to parents who tell him the same thing, “And I think it’s in that packet we had to fill out, but I’m a teacher over at the middle school, um, art, and so I’m only like ten minutes away if something happens, and she should be really good, she’s a great listener, but I know how she can be so please tell me. Seriously. And I know she didn’t do pre-school, but she’s so smart, she’s just struggling with her R’s and H’s sometimes, but I honestly think it’s because she talks so fast she just doesn’t care to slow down-“
Your fingers touch his wrist, catching it as he talks with his hands and he stops immediately, blinking at you with a held breath.
It’s like touching his skin shocks you and your fingers release from around his wrist quickly before you take a step back, shaking your head while biting your lip.
“Sorry, sorry, I didn’t mean…”
“No, it’s oka-“
“Dingus!” Wing woman extraordinare interrupts, “Why on earth did cutiepie here just tell me she did not get a picture in this fabulous first day of school outfit?”
He focus’ on the pair walking towards him hand in hand with a scowl he quickly hides, rolling his eyes at Robin when Charlie quips, “Yeah, dad!”
Steve rubs the side of his cheek, glaring at Robin as you make yourself busy with your clipboard. “Because, we were gonna be late after we were so focused on finding the green overalls, and the green hair ties, and the green shoelaces and the green-“
“Because green is the best,” Charlie interrupts while putting her hands on her hips as if it weren’t clear how exasperated she was with him from her tone.
Robin snorts from behind her and mirrors her pose before sticking her tongue out at him. “Yeah, dad!”
Your laughter reminds Charlie of your presence and she tugs Robin’s matching polished fingers with her own forward.
“Miss Honey, this is Auntie Robin. She lives at…um…oh yeah…four one three-“
“Woah kiddo!” Robin whispers and crouches down, looking around dramatically like a spy. “Does Miss Honey know the super secret password? ‘Cause, remember, only the friends who know the super secret password get to know where Aunt Robin lives.”
Charlie gasps like she’s just recalled this important fact and nods, face seriouos. Robin mimes zipping her lips, locking, then throws the invisible key over her shoulder. Charlie copies her, then promptly steps towards you and loudly whispers: “Pickles.”
Steve bites his cheek and Robin laughs, running a hand over her curls. “We’ll keep practicing the whole locking of lips thing, huh?”
“Kay,” Charlie shrugs before she tugs on Steve’s pant leg. “Daddy?”
“Yeah?” He watches her grip the side of jeans in her little fist and stare at the swings with that pout on her lips again.
“Can I swing?”
A lump in his throat forms when he looks up at you, you glance at your watch and nod with a smile.
“Sure, cutie.” He starts to take off her back pack straps and she’s already racing across the gravel and he calls out loudly, “Don’t forget to be nice to new friends! Take turns! Say please!”
“Tank you!” She shouts back over her shoulder.
Steve groans at it all, her racing away, her forgotten H. He watches her slow down as she reaches the swings and point to an empty one next to a boy already pumping his legs. He nods eagerly and Charlie talks animatedly with her hands as she climbs into the swing.
He lets all of his weight drop against Robin, Charlie’s backpack limp in his fingers when his temple knocks hers and he whispers, “I can’t fucking do this.”
Robin sniffles and his head whips up.
“Are you crying?”
She swats at his chest and avoids his gaze, “No. I have something in my eye. Both eyes. Like a branch or something. Just…” she holds out her hand and blinks blue eyes that have turned a little more shiny, “Give me your keys so I can go get the polaroid, ‘cause I know you brought it, you sentimental idiot.”
He drops the car keys into her palm and she quickly turns away from him before he can catch the tears slipping down her cheeks. When he turns back around you’re hiding a smile behind your thermos again.
Steve clears his throat and runs his thumb and forefinger down his nose, squinting at the playground.
“It’s okay to cry you know, most parents do.”
“I’m not,” he clarifies, words thick in his throat and a struggle to get out.
“Okay, I believe you,” yours easy and tinged with laughter.
“I’m not,” he begs, pleading with someone in the universe so the burn behind his eyes doesn’t fully form and fall.
You must hear it, and decide to give him an out, because you pull up your clipboard. “I actually did need to ask you a few questions, you were my last parent to snag before we all go inside. We never got your authorized pick up list? Just if you can’t ever pick up Charlie, who we’re allowed to send her home with? We tend to also use this as an emergency contact list if there was ever some reason we couldn’t get a hold of you.”
The word emergency makes his heart beat harder and he looks over at Charlie swinging to make sure he can still see her.
“Oh,” he nods, licking his lips as he thinks through it. “How many people can I put?”
“As many as you want,” you shrug before adjusting your coffee thermos in the crook of your elbow so you can write on the clipboard.
“Here,” he grabs the thermos, “Let me. I feel like if I let you spill coffee on that skirt, Charlie might actually never forgive me, as you heard, we’re in a green phase.”
He’s awarded that laugh of yours again before you whisper a quiet thank you. Your lashes kiss as you blink at him, pen poised on the paper. It’s when your eyebrows lift expectantly that he realizes you’re waiting for him to say something still.
“Oh! Um…honestly…” he looks at Charlie who’s smiling at Robin holding up the camera now and nods towards her. “Robin Buckley,” he lists her phone number before adding on, “She’s a teacher here, music, um, honestly she might be picking her up most days. I coach soccer here in the fall after school, so I should make it, but in the spring I’m over at the high school for baseball.”
“Okay great,” you smile as you finish writing her number and look up at him, “Anyone else?”
“I guess Eddie Munson?”
“The ‘firesmens’?” You ask as you write the name.
Steve laughs, fiddling with Charlie’s backpack in his hands, “Yeah, and I guess I should do Nancy too…”
He gives you both of their numbers along with Hopper and Joyce and he doesn’t even want to imagine what would be going on that you couldn’t get a hold of him, Robin, Eddie, or Nancy and had to resort to calling them. And what’s worse, if you couldn’t get a hold of them either.
“We almost never have to call even the second person on the list Mr. Harrington, she’s gonna be just fine.”
“Right,” he nods, but doesn’t really believe you.
“For relationship, Robin is Charlie’s Aunt is what I gathered?”
“Oh,” he laughs and rubs at his temple, “Um by blood? No. She’s just my best friend, but I mean, I guess, to Charlie, yeah. Closest person to having a real one I think.”
“Oh, okay, gotcha” you nod, glancing down at the list and writing.
Steve feels the need to clarify when you hover over Eddie and Nancy, and he isn’t sure why. “They’re married, shouldn’t have said that. And again, family friends I guess, but Charlie calls them Aunt and Uncle. And Jim and Joyce, do you know Hopper? The chief? Anyways, they’re just Mr. Jim and Mrs. Joyce, but they’re essentially her grandparents I guess? I don’t really know…”
Your face does that thing that he hates, the look like you wanna tell him you’re sorry, or you want to comfort him but don’t know how. And it’s not like he doesn’t appreciate where it comes from, he just hates anyone thinking he can’t handle it, can’t handle her, all by himself, or feeling sorry for him in any way. Because there’s nothing to be sorry for, not when he has her.
Your mouth parts, but before you can speak, thunder rumbles loudly overhead.
“Oh, shit,” Steve groans, looking up at the angry clouds. The clear morning sky slowly turning gray without him noticing and he looks over to see Charlie already running for Robin’s legs.
“Not a fan of thunderstorms?” You ask as you watch her and several other kiddos get scooped up by parents.
Steve shakes his head, lips turning down in a frown as Robin whispers in her ear and starts back towards him. “No, she really doesn’t. No matter what I say or do, nothing helps. I honestly don’t know where it came from, I don’t think it’s the loud noises of the thunder, we’ve never lost power…I feel so helpless. Or useless. Like I can’t fix it for her. ”
The smile you offer attempts to reassure, but Charlie’s eyes fill with tears and Robin rubs a hand down her back, looking over her head at Steve with worried eyes.
“Sorry, I gotta…” he apologizes but he’s already moving towards her and he hopes you understand.
Charlie’s sniffles grow louder as another rumble cracks overhead, burrowing her head into Robin’s sternum and kicking her shoes against her thighs so hard, the little daisies light up.
Robin grimaces at the rough kick, and Steve gives her a mouthed apology as he relieves her of her comforting duties. “Hey, calm down honey. I’m right here. It’s just the rain being a little loud, announcing it’s coming soon, remember?”
He watches you and Robin and some of the other teachers start to gently guide parents and kids inside, smiling and distracting from the incoming rain, and he starts to follow but Charlie wails in his ear as he gets further away from the car.
“Dad-dy, nooo,” she sobs, shaking her head, “I don’t wanna go.”
His eyes blur as he sets her down in the entryway, kids running past as parents give him kind smiles when they walk around them.
“What?!” He tries to sound excited, but he’s wavering, throat too tight and eyes burning, “Why don’t you wanna go now? You get to color, and meet new friends! You get to go play music with Robin!”
“But,” she hiccups around a big sob and his thumb catches a new fat tear trying to trail down her pink cheeks. “You-you leaving and and I don’t like the storm and-“
“I don’t have to leave yet! We get to go put your backpack away, and see your new classroom together. Can we do that? I was so excited to see where you get to sit and draw me pictures every day.”
He’s grasping at straws as she shakes her head no and tries to climb into his lap. And he doesn’t even care if he shouldn’t, he lets her. And he squeezes her and kisses the top of her head as he cradles her, walking deeper inside.
Steve whispers in her ear about how Miss Honey must be magic cause guess what? Char, your cubbie is green. How’d she know? And oh my gosh, no way, someone has a sleeping beauty lunchbox. All the while humming her favorite lullaby between the exciting things he hopes grab her attention. And soon she’s not crying anymore, wet lashes tickling his neck as she peeks at the things he’s pointing out. Soon she’s climbing off of his lap as he forces his voice to sound happy about her hanging up her power rangers backpack she just had to have, and holding his hand as she walks to the doorway of the classroom.
All the parents are gone, aside from a few taking last peeks at their kids drawing or playing and Charlie clings to his knee as he hesitates in the doorway himself.
You’re knelt on the ground pointing at some books with two kids when you spot them. He’s not sure what you say to them, but then you’re walking over to them and not even looking at Steve as you crouch in front of Charlie hiding behind his leg, your sole focus on her and making her feel better.
“Thank goodness you’re here, Charlie!” You tell her, thoroughly relieved, “I have the biggest hugest favor to ask you, will you help me?”
Charlie looks at you, and takes a step forward as she quietly asks, “Help?”
Your nod is so enthusiastic, and you reach out your hand for hers, waiting until she rests her fingers in yours to lace them together. “I heard you are your dad’s best helper, and I need help finding all of the green crayons, can you do that with me? There’s so many in this bin! We need them for a special project we’re going to do later.”
She’s about to nod, he knows she is, when lighting flashes outside, and despite the blinds being closed, she knows. Charlie flinches and starts to retreat but you sigh, and nod your head, smiling still. “I know, rain can be scary sometimes. Do you know what I like to do when it rains?”
Charlie shakes her head no, and you smile encouragingly at her as she gets closer and places both of her hands on your arm instead of holding your hand, squeezing close to your side. “I love to bake cookies. They make my house smell so good. What’s your favorite kind of cookie?”
“Um…” Charlie swipes at her cheek and looks around the room at kids playing and laughing. “Monstermashes.”
“Monstermashes? What are those? I’ve never heard of them, can you tell me what all goes in them while we find all the green crayons?”
She let’s you lead her to the table with the bin where two other kids coloring smile at her and say hi. She sits and you squeeze her shoulder as she tells you all about the cookies. It’s when you risk a glance at the door that Steve realizes he’s just standing there, crying.
Your smile is kind, but your head tilts ever so subtly, telling him to slip out while he can and he knows he should, but the fact that he doesn’t get to hug her goodbye or say have a great first day or I love you is ripping him apart and he squeezes his eyes closed.
He’s not sure how he makes it out to his car with how clouded his vision is, but he does. Thankfully he doesn’t have a sob leave his lips until the maroon door is slammed and his forehead presses to the leather wheel. He notices a little stack of polaroids under an orange post it that says “You sentimental idiot” on the passenger seat. He cries more when he sees the curled fingers around his. He cups his cheeks and slaps them, clearing his throat while muttering under his breath to get a grip.
And he does, eventually.
He goes to teacher workshop and sets up his own classroom and lesson plans and catches up with his co-workers. The thunder only lasts about a half hour, and then it’s just a normal rainy day, which he hopes you’ve managed alright with her. He only calls Robin once but that’s only because she yells at him that of course she’s fine, you think she’d let anything happen to that sweet angel? And he only grabs his keys to go early three times, but never makes it fully out to the car. He does have to take something from his little orange bottle when his breath isn’t quite right when lights flicker for no reason, but turns out it was just the custodian doing some checks. And then finally, it’s already time to go pick her up, and he’s not proud of this, but he speeds at least ten over the whole way there.
So maybe he’s a little early.
He’s slow to approach the classroom, and leans against the wall on the other side of the doorway, just out of sight. He hears your voice singing some sort of clean up song and the kids responding, he closes his eyes and tries to focus on if he can hear her. When the song is over, he opens his eyes to find you smiling at him from the doorway. Your shirt is stained, your hair messier than it was this morning. You’re clearly exhausted but absolutely overjoyed that this is your job as you call for anyone who’s favorite color is green to come grab their back pack. Charlie races towards the door with a few other kids and waves excitedly at him from her place in line.
When you tell them to grab their backpacks, she exits the room and leaps into his arms when he crouches down, expecting the hug. He squeezes her tightly, “Hey cutie, did you have a good day? I missed you so much!”
“So so so so good daddy, we played with cars and colored planets and Auntie Robin taught us a new song and and oh my gosh there’s too much happy to tell you.”
He gets a little choked up at that, a sob threatens to hiccup out of him that he tries to cover up with a laugh, kissing her cheek. “That’s so great! Go get your backpack, I think Miss Honey is waiting.”
“Oh!” She jumps out of his arms and skips to her cubbie, and brings it to you where you slip some papers into a folder, notably sparkly and green, into her backpack after you do the same with three other kids and three different colored folders. The others go sit down on a rug and you smile at him.
“Hi Mr. Harrington, Charlie had such a great first day! She was my awesome helper and she has some art projects to show you that I think you’re really gonna like. There’s also a note about what we did today for you in there, that also has some dates to keep in mind and it’ll always have announcements for things like snack rotations.”
Charlie tugs at his pant leg as Steve smiles at you, “Hold on, sweetie.” He runs a hand over her curls before turning back to you and lowering his voice, “Thank you. For this morning, but also, you know, the whole day.”
“It’s literally my job,” you joke, but you smile warmly at him, “But, you’re welcome. You just need to sign Charlie out and then you’re all set!”
You grab a binder from it’s place by the door and flip to the H’s, and hold it open for him. Typed up information about Charlie on top, and the dates of the month in a calendar for signatures, and at the bottom, the list of names. He gets a little emotional seeing: ‘Robin Buckley - Aunt’ and all the other relationships you’ve given instead of family friend.
Charlie tugs harder, this time on his belt loop and he laughs, picking her up. “Hey, I said hold on, what’s got ants in your pants, huh?”
She taps at his cheek, big eyes blinking at him as she whines, “Daddy, this is so impotant, I promise. No ants.”
“Okay,” he laughs, signing his name in the today’s box, “What’s up?”
“What are the crunchies?”
She asks it so seriously and he has no idea what she’s talking about, he looks to you for help.
You’re thanking the kids for the calm and listening bodies before you’re calling up kids who’s favorite animal is a penguin, so he looks at Charlie who’s waiting expectantly. “What are what?”
“The crunchies daddy. What are they? Miss Honey doesn’t know them.”
“Cutie, I don’t know what you’re talking about. What are crunchies?” He bends down with her to grab her backpack that’s still on the floor and he hears you laugh.
“Daddy the monstermashes,” Charlie whines, like he should know this.
“Oh,” he draws it out, “The M&M’s? The chocolate candy I put in?”
“No,” Charlie whines, and she turns to you with a pout. “Daddy doesn’t know too. It’s no use! Hopeless!”
He doesn’t know how or where she learns these phrases so quickly and how she uses them so correctly but he does know that he’s not alone in thinking it’s the cutest thing ever when you smile at her.
“Hold on, I bet we can figure it out together!” You tick off on your fingers as kids who love potato chips go to their cubbies and get their equally different folders and a second parent enters the hallway. He starts to wonder how many folders you bought to be prepared for all their different interests. Colors, animals, shapes, characters, sparkles and no sparkles. He wonders what else you did today.
“Let’s see, we have peanut butter…” Charlie nods and you gasp, “Is it crunchy peanut butter? Peanuts?”
She makes a face, much to his dismay they’re a creamy peanut butter household, so Steve shakes his head no and you tap your chin. “Okay, and it’s not the m&m’s or…” you smile at Steve, emphasizing the R’s in a way that tells him the very important letters were left out of the word, “Butterscotch.”
Charlie nods and the two of you are silent so he chimes in with, “Rice Krispies? The cereal?”
You smile and Charlie nods, “That’s it! Krispies!”
Crunchies, krispies, he has to give it to her, that’s pretty close. And from the way you react, he knows you knew all day, you just wanted to keep her distracted.
“I’m so glad we figured it out! I had such a great time learning with you today, Charlie, I’ll see you tomorrow?”
Charlie nods and waves, shouting in his ear, “Bye Miss Honey!”
You wave back, smiling at the two as the next parent takes his place and you call up a boy named Matt.
Steve heads down the hallway, looping her backpack over his shoulder as he whispers, “Should we make Miss Honey some Monstermash cookies tonight? You can bring them tomorrow?”
Charlie shouts yes directly in his ear again and his hair gets trapped under her hand in her excitement and all he can do is sigh.
A content, tiny burst of affection, for sure.

Thots on zombie ghost go
-💦
he is actually everything to me so.
also i waited specifically for today to post this!!! happy Halloween!!!
cw: very mild implications of canon violence, very brief mention of si eating reader, fucking (and loving) the undead, reader secretly kept Zombie!Ghost after he turned, ghost is a very conscious zombie, gn!reader
the scratching at your door is maddening. you tell yourself youre imagining it alongside the deep groans that almost sound like he's trying to say your name, almost. but you know you shouldn't. it's too dangerous, he's not himself - and yet there you are. rising to your feet, the floorboard creaking underneath your feet as you try to quietly get to the door, trying not to alarm him. you open the door and his big, cold body slumps onto the ground, he had been sitting against the door again. "I told you not to do that. you'll keep falling down." you scold gently, but he ignores it. he hoists his torso up, tattered gloves touching your bare thigh, the grip even tighter than before he turned. he scrambles closer, his limbs making it hard on him, face pressing against your warm skin. you gasp, the coldness is still something you need to get used to, but you doubt that you ever will. the smell isn't something you'll get used to either - he doesn't smell like rot, you did research and bought embalming tools. you want to keep him as long as you can, even if it means having to buy the expensive creams and all, but it's a small price to pay to keep your Si from falling apart, rotting away under your loving hands.
only a loud gurgle gets you out of your thoughts, it's one of frustration and pleading; you know him so well by now. you look down and put a hand on his slightly matted hair, no matter how much you brush it, it never stays soft. "what?" you aks him gently, his milky eyes gaze up at you like you hung the stars in the sky. another grunt escapes his chapped lips, his other hand gripping the fabric of your underwear tightly. oh.
you look around as if to see if someone is around, if someone can see your sins, what you'll do. but no one is. its just you and Si. like it used to. kinda.
you bite your lip as you look down at him, gloved fingers digging into your skin while his cold face rubs your thigh, you have to stop him before part of it rubs off. you hold his head still and sigh, caressing the cold cheek. "come on.." you mumble, nodding to the bed and a smile crosses his face, teeth showing through the small hole in his cheek. he stands up, holding onto you, his form looming over you as you lead him to your once shared bed. his side as a slight indent from him, you were gonna buy a new mattress a few weeks ago, but now you can't. he pushes you onto the worn mattress, crawling over you, the smell of the embalming cream is almost overwhelming, you just want his perfume back. but there's no time for it, not when he's already latching his ripped lips to your throat, suckling on your soft skin. you're not scared, you know he's in there, you know he won't bite you, even if he wanted to. his love overwhelms the hunger, for now.
you rub his shoulder, the ripped clothes stuck to his skin from day one, something you curse each time you see him in what used to be his uniform. but your troubles are pushed aside rather quickly when you feel him grip the hem of your underwear, growling while tugging it down, throwing it away like it did something to him. you gaze up at him, his clothed bulge rubbing against your thigh desperately, trying to get himself hard. you give him a pitiful look, cupping his face in your hands and shaking your head. "its okay, Si.." you coo softly to calm him down, a frustrated grunt is all you get back. you grab into the nightstand and grab a condom, placing a careful kiss on his cheek before opening his pants and carefully freeing his semi from the fabric. "look at that.." you whisper. "you'll get there again.. you just need to adjust.." you reassure, kissing his lips now. he almost lunges forward but holds back for your sake, not wanting to hurt you. you're his lovie after all, even if he can't say it anymore. another low growl sounds in his throat as your hands pull the condom over his flesh, glossed over eyes looking at your face as you bite your lip.
"careful." you warn him, for both, his and your sake, before lying back on the bed and taking a deep breath. he grips your thighs again, a gurgling sound that makes you shiver comes from his throat before he finally pushes himself into you, with a little help from you. you gasp, the coldness making you clench, but he's in absolute heaven. your tight, warm hole around his cock is all that he ever wants to feel, you're his sole reason for not letting his body tether, not giving into his urges and feasting on your flesh like he so, so badly wants to. but he settles on fucking you for now, one of the only earthly pleasures he can still feel, he still wants to feel. the way you writhe and squirm under him, his big hands pressing your hips into the creaking mattress as he pumps his cock into you, wishing he could tear the rubber off, but not doing it for your sake, not yet.
he knows that one of these days he wont be able to hold himself back on you, that he won't be scratching at your door to get to feel your skin under his, your hands running over his wasting body, and he thinks you know too.

Recently, I came across the idea where Logan's old universe was omegaverse and Wade's universe just.. isn't??
So Logan just stands here like "wait.... what do you mean you guys dont have ruts and have time off of work for heats?"
And it starts because Wade mentioned something about getting pregnant for maternity leave (just joking because he's tired and did a lot of jobs this week) and Logan, cassually as ever, mentions that he could just claim his heat cycle changed and take a week off.
Which leads to Wade staring at him like "what the fuck did you just say?"
"You know. Your heats? You can just claim it changed and take this week off."
"👁👄👁..."
"Is... that not something you guys have here?? Jeez this America really sucks. They dont even give you heat days off??"
"Logan sweetheart... im going to say this very gently. WHAT IN THE EVER LOVING AO3 HAPPENED IN YOUR UNIVERSE!?"
".... I thought...."
"DID YOU THINK I WAS A FUCKING OMEGA!?"
"...........no?"
Wade now is sobbing on the floor after finding out the possibility that he could have chosen to live in AOB universe and possibly had an Alpha Vanessa.
"Is THAT why you do that every month!?? I thought you were just weird about scheduling!!??"
"Wait wait wait... People don't have heats here? You dont have ruts??..... all my marking meant nothing....?"
"NO!! Sweetheart it meant something to me!!"
"But no one else can smell it?"
"Eehh.... no. BUT it makes it more special! Because only you can smell it."
Logan then has a semi identity crisis because he whole ass assumed that Wade was an Omega this whole time and just thought he couldn't get him pregnant because his swimmers were finally dead from all the whiskey- assuming all his friends were betas because it was normal for omegas to befriend mainly other omegas and betas over alphas... but now he also is realizing hes quite literally the only person like this in the entire universe.
Wade is estatic. He wants to know everything, he wants to know the rituals, he wants to know about his other mates, hes asking a billion things because GOSH his wolvie is so much more unique and special and hes all his!
But Logan feels kinda... alone. The only being with such complex needs. And no one ever would understand. Well- except for wade. But still.
There is apprently a fic with this concept but I dont remember the name or have read it but I bet its good.
I STILL HAVE NO BRAIN TO FORMULATE A PROPER REPLY but I cannot in good conscious keep this from the people (the public of Rome!!) any longer. Feast upon this, my pretties. Feast and be satiated

Kinktober: October 30th - Blood (Papa Emeritus II x Female!Reader)
Tags: Vampire Secondo, Blood Kink, Menstruation, Dub-Con, Cunilingus, Fear Play, Mentions Of Death, Degradation, Multiple Orgasms, 2nd Person POV
It was in the darkness of the abbey that you found him. A chill went up your spine, terror shooting through you at the horrific sight that you were a witness to.
There were rumors going around the ministry that the infamous Papa Emeritus II was actually a vampire. You didn't believe it, of course, that's just silly! But you could understand the similarities between the man and the fictional beast. His particularly sharp canines, his affliction with the sun, his avoidance of people, and his nocturnal habits. You thought he was just a bit quirky. Intimidating and terrifying for sure, but nothing more than a mortal man. When siblings started to go missing, you thought it was a mere coincidence.
You were proven wrong when you saw Secondo greedily slurping down on the neck of Sister Caterina, your roommate. You wondered where the girl ran off too at such a late hour, and hence you came looking for her. She was pale, covered in her own blood, but still hanging in there and struggling for her life. You gasped, which inadvertently drew the attention of Secondo, snapping his head towards your direction. Shit.
His pupils were blown out, a crazed look in his eye, and for a split second, you could swear his white eye was glowing. He dropped Sister Caterina unceremoniously to the ground, her body hitting the cold tiled floor with a loud thud. She pulled herself up shakily, using her remaining strength to hobble away as quickly as possible, in search of help. Secondo approached you, and all you could do was stand there, frozen, like you were in some sort of trance.
He towered over you, and your legs shook violently, fearing for your life. Still, you couldn't move, you could only shut your eyes tight and prepare yourself for your impending doom. This is it, you thought to yourself, feeling his hot breath on your neck, a droplet of Sister Caterinas blood dripping from Secondos mouth and landing on your nightgown. He inhaled deeply, a gutteral moan escaping his lips.
"Sister _____." He greeted lowly. "You tore me away from my meal. I forgive you, though. Her blood was bitter, no good at all. But yours..." He took another inhale. "Yours smells so fucking sweet. You're going to make such a fine dish for me." You felt his fangs graze your neck, but he paused, retracting himself and sniffing the air a few times in confusion.
"You're dripping." He growls, his breathing labored. "No wonder you smell so strongly. Your blood is already escaping you, isn't it?" He smiles devilishly, holding a sadistic look in his gaze. As fate would have it, you just so happened to be on the first day of your period. Shit, he could tell?
"Don't look so frightened now, darling. This just saved your life. I don't need to drain you lifeless, not when I have your cunt to get me full, hm?" He drops to his knees, hands securely on your hips so you can't get away. You try to push him away, but he snatches your wrist. "Do you want to live or not?" He spat frustratedly, brows furrowing in anger. A single tear escapes your eye. You nod.
"You do? Well so do I." He grumbles, flipping up your dress, exposing your panties and bare legs. "Don't take this personal. I kill only to survive. You think I like doing this? No dear, but I have to. I can't control myself..." His fingers hook under the sides of your underwear, pulling them down and exposing your pussy, glistening both with your menstruation, and also from arousal. Wait, how are you so turned on right now? Just a minute ago you thought you were going to die.
His tongue delves into you, flicking in and out of your hole rapidly. He moaned at the taste, nails digging into your hips. "Tastes so fucking good." He gruffs, voice vibrating against your folds. His fingers made its way up your thigh and in your cunt, curling and gathering all the blood he could possibly pull from you, sucking it up hungrily. This wasn't so bad, you thought, compared to the alternative. In fact, it felt fucking incredible, you couldn't help but moan, covering your mouth with your hand so nobody could hear.
Is it really so wrong to provide him a good meal? Not only are you keeping him alive, but you kept Sister Caterina alive as well. Maybe he could come to you around this time of the month every time he feels hungry, sparing the lives of countless people. Wow, how selfless, you're a real humanitarian! While saving lives was definitely in your mind somewhere, your main focus was a desire to be eaten out like this as often as possible, for as long as possible. You don't know what venom he injected in you to make this so enjoyable, but you weren't complaining.
Your moans catch his attention, a light smirk playing on his red stained lips. "You're enjoying this, aren't you? I thought for certain you'd hate this, having a monster devour you and all. Turns out you're a filthy slut, isn't that right?" He teases, licking a long, slow stripe along your slit. "You like having a creature of the night turn you into his bitch? A little blood bank? Lucifer below, you're pathetic." He shoves his face back between your legs, his degradation only making you wetter.
You were so close, biting your lip so hard you could taste your own blood. You can't see what Secondo likes so much about the taste, to be honest. Gripping helplessly at his scalp, you cum hard, legs shaking and a sharp cry of pain and pleasure spilling from your lips. Secondo holds you firmly so you don't topple over, lapping up your blood and your juices, deeply enjoying the mixture. "Just when I thought you couldn't taste any better." He comments. "I hope you don't think I'm finished with you just yet, my little blood bank."
He's back on you again, licking and sucking, overstimulating the life out of you. Sure, he won't kill you by blood loss, but you're almost positive this man is going to give you a heart attack with his movements. You cry, you kick, you struggle, but he has you speared in place, exactly where he wants you. Once the painful intensity of your last orgasm subsides, you're able to fully enjoy him eating you out again, moaning and whimpering in content, back against the wall as you just let it happen and give in to the pleasure.
-
Soon enough, you can't even remember how many times you came. You're nothing but a babbling mess, incoherent pleas making their way out of your mouth. Pleas for him to stop or keep going, that's unclear even to you. He's managed to ignore you, focusing solely on his need to feed. Fuck, when is he gonna be full? Greedy little asshole. At some point, you had forgotten exactly when or how, but you fell over from the debilitating orgasms. Secondo was at least kind enough to catch you and lay you down on the floor gently, before going right back into your pussy.
"Need more. Fuck, your cunt is so addicting. And your blood, cazzo... You will be seeing much more of me after tonight, I guarantee you that. You can't escape me now. You've gotten me hooked, puttana." He chuckles softly, sucking on your sensitive clit like he was trying to tear the damn thing off. Maybe he was, you couldn't tell. It feels to good to worry about anything anymore. He could kill you right after this and you wouldn't mind. What a hell of a way to die anyways, am I right?
As yet another orgasm was approaching you, tears streamed down your face, sobbing from the oversensitivity. You couldn't handle another one, you couldn't. But it didn't matter, he was going to give you one. He was relentless, frenzied, it's a wonder how he still has the energy after about an hour of going at it. I guess a perk of being a vampire is not having to worry about lockjaw anymore.
"You're going to cum again, girl? Delicious. Give me my dessert, Sorella..." He rumbles, tongue never stopping, never losing rhythm. His fingers applied just the right amount of pressure inside of you to send you toppling over the edge, screaming bloody murder as your cries of ecstasy echoed throughout the chapel. Your bones feel like they're fucking vibrating, you're so lost and too far gone. Hell, you've successfully forgotten your own name after that one. You are a husk of the person you once were, just like all his other victims, except you still had a heartbeat.
He finally pulls away, and you sigh in relief, body relaxing and melting into the floor, or at least that's what it feels like. Who knew stumbling across a vampire and being at their mercy would be so rewarding for both parties involved? You could feel yourself fading into a deep sleep. It's gonna be really hard to explain to the black mass attendees in the morning why you're panty-less and covered in blood, passed out on the floor, but you could care less. You're boneless, your only option is to remain grounded and let sleep take hold of you. You're at peace.
Until you feel his tongue on you again.

₊˚‧♱₊˚ Halloween with the Tulpar crew ₊˚♱‧₊˚.
disclaimer: jimmy will not be included in these headcanons!! i recognize that he is well-written and deeply flawed, but it is for my own comfort that i will not be creating content of him on this account. thank you for understanding, happy halloween firelights!!
dynamic: caregivers! anya, curly, daisuke, and swansea
content warning: none! just short and sweet headcanons with the crew ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚
Anya:
The most cautious of the crew on Halloween night. Of course she wants you to have fun but worries about the potential risks involved as she values your safety above all else.
One of her safety precations is wearing visible stickers/accessories for navigating the streets, and will never say no to holding your hand when walking side by side.
Another steadfast safety precaution that she has is to always remain in sight and to not run, even if there are others doing so.
She is extremely thorough when inspecting your Halloween candy, organizing them with you by your favorites and least favorites to ration as a special treat. Though, you are free to help yourself to a handful of sweets after working so hard to fill your bucket.
As much as she loves to watch you collect candy, she also loves to be a fun house that gives away treats to the other trick or treaters. She'll have all sorts of dye-free, non-dairy, or sugar free candy alternatives to make sure that everyone is able to feel like they could participate in the holiday festivities.
For those that don't care for candy or can't have any, she also makes little packets of coloring activities with small plastic toys.
Puts in the most effort to decorate for the holidays with warm lights being her favorite; she'll string them up alongisde the house to bring in the warmth of fall.
She'll also put up her favorite vintage decorations or small trinkets that she's collected over the years, relaying stories of how she had come to aquire each of them.
Spiced apple cider is her favorite fall drink, and was given a particularly delicious recipe from Swansea, and since then has become a favorite tradition to drink it in your matching mugs.
Anya loves horror movies, and can't think of a better way to spend the evening than being cuddled on the couch and watching her favorites. If you ask she'd be happy to recount her favorite facts throughout the film as though you had your own personal commentary track.
If Daisuke happens to be available she'd invite him over to share in their common interest of slasher films as the only ones on the crew who find enjoyment in them. Because of this you'd have quite an extensive knowledge on horror films, whether you like them or not.
There's no other Halloween song that gets the two of you into the spooky mindset quite like "This is Halloween", and will immediately sing or hum it at any given chance, no matter where you are.
Curly:
Will basically do whatever you want as long as you're spending the holiday together.
You wanna go out and trick or treat? He'll have matching costumes ready.
Want to just stay inside? He's already got a pumpkin on the counter with recipes for baked pumpkin seeds after you're done carving.
Don't want to do anything special? He's got already got plans for the night to include a warm meal and a cozy autumn movie.
I have no explanation but he has a notrious fall candle that only he appreciates its smell. Everyone else begs him not to light it every year because the house reeks of spiced body spray but he loves it. Anya can feel the headache coming in seeing its putrid glassy orange color being brought into the living room.
Is the one to host a Halloween party with the crew, but wants to keep drinking and rowdy behavior to a minimum when you're around, especially wanting to be respectful of Swansea's sobriety.
Loves to listen to classic Halloween songs and does silly dances to make you giggle (The Monster Mash or Ghostbusters in particular).
Also loves any children's Halloween movies as he believes watching "those scary horror films" will give you nightmares and doesn't want you keeping him up all night (but really, we all know that its just him wanting to watch cartoons.)
Is the best at making you feel safe during your Halloween outings, always shielding you behind him and walking head first into the haunted houses and would never leave your side as you were his responsibility.
Daisuke:
Once the two of you are out the door, get ready for a long night ahead, because neither of you are getting home until someone drops. /lh
If your goal is to fill your candy bucket to the brim then he'll do his best to make sure that its done. If he thinks that the quota isn't being met fast enough he'd even bring his own bucket to double up the earnings at each house.
Doesn't mind holding hands if you get scared of other costumes or if you need support going through haunted house exhibits.
Though being scared doesn't excuse you from receiving some light teasing, he'll be sure to remind you that there's nothing to be afraid of, and if it gets too much then just tugging on his sleeve will be the que to take you home.
If you both were to retire early, the two of you would make a de-tour to Anya's house to spend the rest of the night watching their favorite horror films to discuss/analyze.
Likes to dress in costumes with matching outfits! Bonus points if the costumes were somehow a joke or meme.
I am a firm believer that he wears crocs with halloween charms on them to celebrate the holiday.
Lets you keep and eat as much candy as you like, though he is quite thorough checking the wrappers for any tampering before handing your bucket back to you.
Swansea:
The least interested in doing anything outlandish or festive. If he had it his way, he'd be sitting on the couch on Halloween night, watching re-runs of his favorite TV shows and in bed before 8pm.
But alas, with you around he'd oblige on taking you out or doing whatever you like for the majority of Halloween night, as long as the two of you are back home and in bed at an appropriate time.
Never dresses in costume, but is open to wearing a festive T-Shirt that doesn't take much effort to put on.
However, when it comes to Halloween treats there's no one better at making the house smell cozy and warm than him. Whether its apple cider, cookies, pie, or soup, everything is insisted on being homemade.
He'd keep a bowl of dough in the fridge so you two can enjoy a small snack before or after heading out to trick or treat.
Will take a "Dad/Boss Tax" of your candy when you get home while inspecting your earnings, chuckling as you pout after watching your hard work being snacked on.
"That's just policy kiddo. I take you out, I get first pick of the treats."

Best Beloved
Day Thirteen: our final day of Fic O'Ween 2024, brought to you by the most special girl in the world. She was spared a spooky movie, as she did not partake in the midight margaritas for obvious reasons. Characters (except our leading lady) belong to @lumosinlove, and MASSIVE massive thanks to @noots-fic-fests for organizing another wonderful year <3
Day 12 movie: Beetlejuice (1988)
Movie theme of the fest itself: Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), with a sprinkling of Freaky Friday (2003) for our dream-hopping, out-of-body experiences. I hope you enjoyed reading and following along as much as I enjoyed writing these!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
“How is it?”
“…working, but don’t tell him.”
Lily took a pointed sip of her hangover cure (courtesy of James) and rested her elbows on the kitchen island. Remus joined her a moment later, laying his whole head on his folded arms and abandoning his own concoction to the side. The ‘Whale of a Time!’ novelty mug from their Alaskan summer trip bore a cheerful orca waving its fin, directly at odds with his general aura of headache melancholy.
“I wonder what she dreams of,” he mused, muffled by the thick sleeves of his hoodie.
Below them, Hattie’s paws gave a twitch.
“Seems important,” Lily agreed. She braved another sip. It was disappointing how well the awful thing worked.
Remus hummed, and tilted his head slightly to the side. His eyes remained on Hattie’s side, rising and falling in an even pattern ever-so-rarely interrupted by a huff. Her nose wiggled; he smiled. “Nah. She’s got nothing to worry about.”
“Evil squirrels,” Lily pointed out.
“They steer clear.”
“Rival gangs?”
Remus’ next breath was a laugh. “She has never met an enemy.”
Lily frowned. “Delayed dinner?”
Remus paused, blinking slowly. “Maybe. Aw, look, she’s chasing something.”
Fuzzy black paws picked up the pace. Quick flicks, back-and-forth, scraping just her smallest nail along the floor in tiny, inch-long crescents. Hattie’s nose wiggled again, searching for whatever eluded her in the land of beautiful dreams inhabited by the best-loved creatures. Even her eyelids fluttered.
“Hattie,” Remus called softly. “What are you doing, Hat Trick?”
Hattie’s tail gave a thump. She settled with a last hard puff that flexed her nostrils. Her paws fell quiet, save for one last stretch.
--
Hattie was having the most fabulous dream.
Her people, all her people, wandering about—then home, after discovering several dropped crackers when people started leaving. A car ride and bedtime and scritches and treats snuck under the table to her and every last one of her people petting her all night long, even through the thick Dad Shirt she had been put in before they arrived.
(That part was confusing. They had so many Dad Shirts in the house boxes, in all sizes. They got thrown into the weird bags with interesting smells and went out with her dads every day, but they always came home smelling like unfamiliar laundry and not the sweaty strangeness of their playing-with-friends clothes. Also, Hattie wasn’t usually dressed in Dad Shirts. Everyone else found it very funny.)
And now! Now she had a butterfly, big and yellow and bouncing just ahead of her snout. She had jumped at it first, then pranced after it, and now she was allowed to run-run-run across soft, flat grass.
It was wonderful.
--
“She was so goddamn cute in Pads’ jersey last night—”
“Oh my god, I know, I died when he brought her down in it.”
Lily buried her laughter in the rim of her cup. “It’s uncanny.”
Remus grimaced briefly around the dregs of the Emergen-C-Gatorade-Tums-Pedialyte smoothie, but his fond smile returned without issue. “It’s so…” He trailed off, shaking his head. “From day one, I swear. The eyes?”
“The hair!”
“It’s dead-on.”
“Sorry for leaving lipstick on her forehead.”
Remus shrugged one shoulder. “It blends in. She’s fine.”
“Animal testing,” Lily joked.
“The glitter, maybe.”
“The margs took over. I’m not liable for my actions.”
Their mutual wince made Remus pinch the bridge of his nose. “Yeah. Jesus, yeah, and they were so good.”
“It makes me so mad,” Lily mumbled into the cuff of her hoodie. “Like, come on, at least make it taste like danger.”
“That salt rim.”
“The fucking salt rim! French sea salt? Are you joking right now?”
“And the sugar sprinkled on the top.” Remus shook his head with a noise of faux disgust. They sat quietly for a few minutes. Outside, garage door hummed. Remus leaned over and knocked their shoulders together. “Thanks for coming over this morning.”
“Your husband actually begged mine to heal him.”
“And he did. You should keep him.”
Lily gave him a disbelieving look. “He’s not going anywhere.”
--
The butterfly led Hattie over bubbling streams and gentle slopes just meant to be sprinted down. The wind ruffled her fur and carried the bird songs right into her ears, no effort necessary. She was out of breath. It didn’t matter. The butterfly was right there—she almost had it.
--
“Hi, boys,” Lily rasped as the door to the kitchen opened.
James barely glanced up from kicking off his tennis shoes with a bag in one hand and coffee in the other. “Boo. Trick or treat?”
“Treat.”
“Everything bagel with scallion cream cheese.”
Lily buried her moan in the countertop and reached a blind, grasping hand out across cool marble. Wax paper crinkled; a soft greeting followed, then a kiss to the back of her head. She squinted in the low light of late morning as James paired it neatly with a second to her forehead. “I love you.”
“I know.”
“Dearly. Endlessly. Forever.”
His cheeks pinked. “Back at you.”
“Mhm.”
Remus was halfway through his own bagel when she looked over. Her stomach rumbled in pure jealousy.
“Oh,” Sirius said happily, pointing past them. “She’s dreaming.”
--
Triumph. Hattie rolled onto her back and stretched her legs out as far as they would go, each toe flexed and every joint extended. It would be better with belly rubs, but a wiggle of her shoulders in the moss was more than enough to satisfy.
The butterfly hopped between her back paws, then up to the front. It tickled the pads and the fur between them. She tipped her head to the side for a better look at the fluffy bits of its wings, but a flop of her paw startled it into the air.
The butterfly set off again, this time toward a rich green forest. Hattie leapt up with a bark and a bound, and didn’t look back.

why cant you choose me.
carlos sainz x norris!reader
reader and carlos are friends with benefits as being together is too risky…lando being her brother and all, but is carlos willing to risk it for her…
warnings : mentions of sex, language, use of yn…angsty one also not proofread im sorry😭
you turned over in bed, feeling the presence of the man lying next to you. inhaling gently you smelt his faint scent of cologne as you rolled over under the sheets.
one of his arms moved and looped around your waist, pulling you in gently as he grumbled something. carlos was never a morning person and you knew that, you also knew your brother would absolutely kill the both of you if he found out about your current position…or rather any position carlos had put you in.
when lando first introduced you to carlos as his sister, he made it very clear that there was no way carlos was allowed too close, let alone to date you or god forbid…fuck you.
and thats what made your current predicament even more amusing to you, laying in bed next to a very tired carlos sainz.
you both swore that it was strictly casual, and that you were just two people who had a strong attraction to eachother…you were friends so surely nothing would change right.
but then you’d noticed how his hug would linger for slightly too long when you’d leave after one of your late night rendezvous, how his eyes would soften at the sight of you, how the smell of your perfume would slow his breathing and calm his heart rate.
and you werent one to play innocent either, you knew that you loved it when he’d sit there and play with your hair in the mornings, or he’d pull you back towards him when you’d roll away from him in the night.
which brought your thoughts back to your current place, feeling carlos bury his head into your neck, softly breathing as you thought he’d fallen back asleep, until he kissed your neck gently, murmuring sweet words under your ear, breath soft against your skin, warming it slightly.
“morning mi amor.”
he said, quietly but you could hear the deep and slight croakiness to his voice, he always had it in the mornings.
“mm hi.”
you smiled, moving yourself slightly so you could face him instead of staring off the edge of the bed. his soft brown eyes met yours.
he leant in and gently placed a kiss on your lips, his lingering for a second too long after he pulled away but you werent in a position to correct him. he pushed his head back into the crook of your neck and laid there.
“carlos.”
“hm ?”
“have you ever thought of us…being more than this.”
you blurted out, wanting to ask the question yet not wanting till the worst moment to say it.
“hermosa, you know we can’t…”
“why can’t we.”
“you know what lando would say, he’d kill me.”
“why does he get a say on what happens in my life.”
“mi amor, it’s not worth the risk.”
“why not.”
“landos one of my closest friends, i cant just lose him.”
“but it’s okay if lose me?”
you said, feeling frustration in the fact that he didnt seem to care as much as you did.
“thats not what i said hermosa, of course i dont want to lose you but i really dont think its worth the risk of losing my best friend, why cant we just stay like we are.”
“because i care about you ! and i cant just keep on waiting until you call me on a random tuesday saying to come over for me to able to see you, i dont wanna have to be the girl you fuck when you feel like it, i can’t keep doing this.”
he moved away a little, standing up from the bed where you still sat.
“i can’t give you more than that hermosa.”
“you can’t or you won’t?”
you said tears brimming your eyes.
he didn’t respond, something in his eyes telling you he didn’t want to be in this position, telling you these things but it wasn’t that simple.
“hermosa…”
you ignored him, standing up from the bed and dressing yourself hastily. you grabbed your things.
“yn!”
“no im done carlos , answer my question.”
“you cant give me more or you wont ?”
“i wont, im sorry hermosa but im not risking my friendship with him.”
“then im not wasting any more of my time on meaningless sex when we both know it goes deeper than that.”
you walked out, slamming the door, the sound echoing like a gunshot in the cold air of the hall.

I want to shut Hiccup up with a kiss when he's upset about something.
End of the statement
Thistle, Scout and Scottish Bluebells pt 3
Pairing: Grumpy!Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III x Modern!Fem!Reader
Words: 1,942
You need some cheering up.
Tags: httyd 1, aged up, au, time travel, bitter reader, bitter hiccup, cheery reader
<Previous -
You stared down into a shallow bucket, eyeing the slimy, slightly smelly body of a small fish as it bobbed with each one of your steps. It looked almost sick, nearly scraps, made slightly warm by the rising sun’s heat. It also smelt; its scales were flaking and somewhat muddy-looking, though you knew it was mostly clean- cosmetically, of course. For you, parasites were a constant worry.
Your hands, now much more calloused than they ever had been, clutched at the thin, metal bucket’s handle. One of your sleeves had gotten stuck there as you trudged your way back from the docks and the one measly fish stand there. Getting it untangled was proving to be quite the task.
It was an old world that you’d been sent to, with untamed mountains and riled seas. It was unpredictable and dangerous, just as emotionless as every facet of it raged and roared. Each toil was made herculean, long and arduous not just by the times but by the sheer might and mystery of everything.
There was safety even in the dangers of the modern world, because at least the dangers were known, if not expected. More explored, less left up to the imagination- the untamed world was cruel, the might and anger of the ancient man even moreso.
As interesting as the loðinn-something-or-others were -or the Hairy Hooligans, as it was- they were a cagey, brutish people, even starved, or perhaps especially because they had been starved.
The inhabitants of Berk were sparse and few in between, plagued by famine. What Vikings hadn’t been picked off by the dragons had been killed by the outcasts and thrown into the very literal fires by their very own brothers-in-arms.
Now, most of the huts were empty, some with the wood obviously burnt and rotting everything from the inside out.
You leaned over your knees, sitting on an old, unbalanced stool.
Their names were all stupid, anal- fitting, for a guy like Hiccup, but perhaps you were biased.
You heard the sound of shuffling leaves and dirt from outside right before the front door of the shack was pushed open, creaking and scraping against the dirt floor.
You knew who it was, marching inwards with semi-soft steps, muttering darkly to himself. You weren’t sure you’d ever heard him so stormy. It made you apprehensive, a tight grimace pulling at the corners of your mouth.
You listened as the sound of footfall migrated from soft ground to harder ground. You were even able to make out a stray ”-eta-leg-” something, which might have had something to do with fish. You almost thought to ask, but he was quite typically very apathetic towards most of your colloquialisms.
There was a pause. “...What are you doing?”
“Making, ah, dinner.” You said, glaring up at him defiantly, your hands falling downwards.
“...Right.” he said, eyeing the sloshing water-bucket.
You grimaced. He could probably smell it- so deep in the woods, the hollowness of salt against the bark, mulch and scattered leaves was probably strong. Bringing water along was also perhaps not so good for the dead fish. Damp things rotted faster and made already smelly things that much worse.
How else were you going to boil out salt, if not with seawater? You weren’t sure if it was going to work but now was more of a time than any to try.
He grunted as he slung the heavy pack of whose-whatsit off his shoulder and dropped it heavily onto the ground, lanky shoulders flagging as he then dropped himself onto the wooden one-blanket-ed frame of his own bed.
He would sleep, maybe, until the next day. You weren’t very versed on his schedule. To you, it seemed to be odd and erratic. He didn’t do much besides slog his way to the forge and back and be an ass.
It wasn’t as if there really was a reason to go into town.
“The arena.” You announced, after a moment of hesitation, into the dark silence.
You’d been into the forge maybe once, leafing through haphazard papers like office files, parchment mostly blank and slightly scribbled over, hard to read in the darkness. Desperate. Hurried.
It wasn’t too different from the one in the woods but there were a few more stall doors and also it was surrounded by huts, which, in a way, made it all the more eerie.
Out the forge window, briefly, you’d spotted a man, handlebar mustache, not unlike the kind you’d expect on the face of a biker with prickly cactus-looking scruff littering the round dip of his chin.
You shifted, minding slightly dry, already wilted plants. They had been hastily shoved into your pockets. Modern seams had torn quickly, forcing you into shambled hand-me-downs.
Hiccup grunted.
You huffed, looking up at him from downturned eyelids. You spoke, “You’re bringing me there.”
He walked past you and stopped just before his bed on the far side of the shack behind, much too long at the legs and the wooden supports at its base much too far apart. He also lacked anything to cover the holes between them, meaning that if you laid at the wrong angle, your bent elbows would dip between the boards. He grunted again, slinging one arm over his face irritatedly, “Do it yourself.”
You smothered a brief spike of irritation, forcing down a scowl. Do it yourself.
Soft highlights made up of the waning sun-glow bounced off nearly imperceptible hairs on the back of his hand. You kept quiet for a moment longer, deep in rumination. It was quite odd to notice something like that- most particularly because you wanted to pick all of them off and then punch him over the head.
Since the beginning, you’d been forced to learn how to cobble up your own dinner, your own bedding and everything else. He hadn’t helped, not really. Everything you had was your own doing, besides maybe the odd repair shack repair or so.
You really only existed under the same roof. If he tried to kick you out, well…
The only thing that had held you together was the idea that maybe, if he hadn’t been born and raised there, or if he hadn’t become so jaded and heavily disillusioned, he might have been good company, or maybe that was just pity talking. You didn’t know much about him, nor had you seen anything clever or brave and bright come from him yet.
Optimism was a hard thing to carry, and in times like thesis, where you had nothing more than frustration to buzz at the tips of your fingers and an empty belly, you found that all your faux goodwill was crumbling. You felt it deep in your chest, nestled right where all your spine’s nerves speared into your heart.
Saying ‘it felt like a dream,’ had never carried the right connotations- it couldn’t fully encompass all of the things you felt or the way you needed what you were sure wasn’t even real; a place where hard ground was limited to the outside, where you had a soft mattress to cater to the line of your back, the way bumpy asphalt felt beneath your sneakers or the way an old, hot car bounced over ancient potholes in abandoned roads- something deep in you reached for it, and yet all of those solid things passed through your fingers like hot smoke.
Your real life now was much colder. You hadn’t known who he was at first, or even for weeks after. If you had been told about any of this beforehand, you might have expected him to look like a cartoon, but with the uneven stubble at his chin and the not nearly as aesthetic a shape to his face, he really was just a man.
You opened your mouth to speak as he turned away, showing his back to you as he faced the wall, but then you caught yourself. You were going to call a name, any name, but he didn’t like those, not really- he was quite snappish when it came to those, in fact.
Names were tricky things, of course.
You felt that you were walking a thin line, at times; balancing over a tightrope a million miles up from the ground like you’d been thrust into some stupid, old, gaudy cartoon. Which, you had been, and it was just as inane as you imagined.
Instead you listened to the sound of white noise and fabric-on-fabric as the slow rumbling of the forest faded into something that was almost silence. You heard yourself as you breathed and the bucket and the legs of your chair rattled under you. You heard your feet digging and making low noise against dirt.
You ignored a very pointed rock of the bed frame as he shifted.
You made a lot of noise, to say the least. You didn’t care, though you could practically feel the air grow stiffer as you struggled.
Finally, with a hard jerk, you were able to tug your sleeve out from the handle and the bucket. You could hear the sound of fabric tearing as you sat back just above the sound of shifting over the threadbare sheet behind you.
Feeling wholly satisfied with yourself, you grabbed the tail end of the fish, pulling it off the bucket with a splash. You pulled it into the air, listening to the sound of water sloshing as it settled, water sliding off bumpy skin in rivulets.
It was nasty- it felt nasty, as most fish did, and as if you could drop it at almost any moment.
There was a small spit set up in the middle of the room like a rig, a shoddy smoke hole framed above it in the roof. As you shifted towards it, by accident, you kicked over your bucket, cursing under your breath
Your hands shot back down to the corners of your stool, calloused palms scraping against wood and scale, fish still clutched unpleasantly in one hand, wetting the edge of your sleeve as it rolled itself back down.
There was a heavy thump behind you, the sound of boot meeting ground and the loud, frustrated creaking of wood. It startled you as you stood and whipped around, your grip loosening- the fish flew out of your hand with what was probably a lot more force than you expected, meeting Hiccup nearly lip-to-lip.
Stubborn coughed and spat, fish slime glistening against the lower half of his face, “Can you- stop?”
You weren’t sure of any of the things that made up his voice and those rolling tones. Was it Scottish or Gaelic something, Norwegian, Danish or having something to do with the Swedes? Or was it a mix of all of the above?
All of their vowels were deep and hitting a sort of hard to reach tenor, Hiccup’s voice especially grated with all the nasal and grumpy worn-ness of all the burden of having to live in such an old time.
Compared to the voices of everyone else, his was sort of high. It was not what you expected, watching an animated face through a gaudy screen.
The berth of everything you lived through now made everything you’d known seem so much bigger. It made you sad… And angry. To say it lightly, you didn’t feel pity for… A lot of people.
Seeing him choke on salt water and slime -If he’d ever made out with Astrid, whoever she was, here- there was a joke to be made there, something about ‘macking on’ and mackerel. It made you happy.
“No.” You said, voice sounding not-very-dead or particularly serious.

im very very tired and vaguely delusional but i also drank a coffee 3 hours ago and its midnight and lance birthday and halloween so take this strollonso abo bitching idea i have wrattling around in my head for a while that i will maybe write in future so
tw for noncon/dubcon some definitely 18+ content and just a massive text dump under the cut
lance and fernando are both alphas but lance has always had a fanciful little puppy crush on fernando since he first saw him but he doesnt think it'll ever go anywhere because of their designations and because fernando probably doesn't think of him that way regardless so they've sort of just orbited each other in this vaguely distant comfortable way but then they're teammates and suddenly fernando is EVERYWHERE in the garage, in the factory, in lance's driver room, his hotel, his apartment, his scent always tickling at the back of his nose and lance just keeps letting him further and further in, ceding more and more ground to this other alpha but lance isn't really bothered by it at all, he knows his position is secure and really he knows he's not the head alpha in this pack so if fernando wants to lead and give orders and posture and all that stuff he's more than happy to let him do it, a taste of what it was like in the old days of f1, when things were less medicated and more "natural" (much like the racing, much like the cars, maybe more exciting but less safe for everyone involved with exclusively unmedicated alphas but thats beside the point) but regardless fernando is kind and funny and a bit intense but thats okay because he listens to lance when he talks, gives him secret smiles in meetings and doesn't look down on him when he breaks his wrists right before the opening race of their first season together, just brings him water and medication and fresh ice packs when required, checks in on his progress and smiles with a hint of teeth and something in his eyes when lance says he wants to race anyway, and hes maybe a bit too touchy, small touches to the arm and shoulder and his back and once to his neck (just once but sometimes lance can still feel the brief warmth of it), touches that stay slightly too long to be appropriate for two alphas but really its okay because it doesn't mean anything but it is nice regardless.
but then bahrain happens and fernando podiums for the first time in forever and lance does well for what feels like the first time in forever and their's 'my hero' and the KISS to his neck, to his cheek, so close to his lips to the nape of his neck, and the heat makes him a little giddy and dizzy in the head and a bubbly feeling in his stomach even if he does have to turn down fernando's offer to go out and he falls into bed happier than ever, things are looking up, the car is good, great and his teamates is FERNANDO and he falls asleep thinking about fernando's hands and lips and the flash of his teeth.....
and then he wakes up (?) naked except for a cute pink pair of panties on his knees with a fat, swollen cock bobbing in front of his face, head drooling precome, a low crooning voice calling him carino telling him not to touch, not to taste, but to just sit there and be good and just smell, take it all in like a good omega should, damp and sweaty and something about this is wrong, some part of him rebels against being on his knees like this, so wrong for the idea of an alpha drilled into him but it just feels so....nice to have to do nothing but sit there and press his face into this nameless, faceless alpha's crotch and be told how good he is, how good he's doing and he can't move, shaking from the arousal coursing through his body, huffing at cock on his knees like he's worshiping it, a big gentle hand holding him place, pushing him back down when he first struggles until he just gives up goes limp into it, each deep breath of it causing the scent to fill his lungs, feeling the heat of the exposed glans, the weight of something so big on his face, and something deep inside him throbs to life at the scent smothering him, of this, yes, but something else, spicy on the back of his tongue and his hands twitches out to fondle his own cock but theres a sharp repimand in the voice that alphas use that its not allowed, to keep his hands on his lap so that he doesn't hurt them any further, and he doesnt know how long he sits there on his knees, just listening and smelling and never taking his eyes off the way it bobs and the way precome drools from it onto the floor and he wants it in his mouth, in him, filling him, and something in his stomach cramps and something in my shifts ever so minutely and he can't help it, he puts his mouth on the head and sucks and hes yanked off just as the alpha lets out a groan and comes all over his face and the whole room spins and- and- and-
and lance wakes up in his bed feeling like he could get back in the car and the race all over again, and he's in the boxers he went to bed in and nothing seems wrong or feels wrong but his mating gland is a litttle swollen, maybe? and he can't remeber the dream he had but he remebers the heat, and the voice, but not the details, not the specifics but its probably nothing so he goes down to bed and tries not to shiver for some reason, ignores the way his stomach clenches when fernando smiles at him in the way he usually does, a hint of teeth peeking through his lips.
because there's no reason to be afraid of fernando. is there?
#and then fernando bitches him over the course of the season#fuck idk what this is i should of gone to bed this took me an hour to write oh my god#dedicated to that one person on my last post who asked if i knew what the full stop was.#i do not apparently#lance stroll#fernando alonso#strollonso#a/b/o#bitching#a vaguely toxic and unhealthy dynamic that is ultimately very lovey dovey in the end (for them not for anyone else)
