Hi I'm thinking about writing a h2g2 and gravity falls crossover fic. I saw your post awhile ago and I was wondering if you had any idea on how the two fords would interact.
Oooh this is a really good idea!
Hm, I haven't properly watched Gravity Falls in a while (I KNOW IM SORRY), but comparing their personalities from what i know they have a couple similarities and differences.
For first interactions I'm not entirely sure how or where, neither of them are naturally social but if someone were to start a conversation it would be Prefect, and once they realize they're both named Ford P. they'd hit off perfectly.
I think they'd love to go out for a small drink and talk about their outlooks on life, about space, their own traumas and relationships, about their research and studies with their respective books (Pines to the Journals, and Prefect to the Guide), and about their plans for future. This interaction could also be a lot funnier depending on the tone you wanted to take.
Ooooh they could also rant about their annoying family members (Zaphod and Stan)
They would also engage in an epic game of Dungeons & More Dungeons no doubt

Hello beloved followee I have a question idk if you'll want to respond or not but I would genuinely like to know why you like mobrei/reimob? Like what's in it that sparks joy for you?
Anyway I love your art. Keep truckin
Hii I answered this question already here if you're interested :>
im not that good at explaining cause most of why i like it is feral incoherent thoughts doing a merry-go-round in my brain and i dont speak english good enough to voice it that well but i just really like their little i saved you you saved me thingy they have. Reigen hitting rock bottom when Mob is not around, how he's gonna rush in against a dangeround freaking esper with nothing but a gun to rescue him. mob going stfu reigen shishou sometimes... WELL i love their dedication and trust and how they changed eachother's lives so much and i think it's cool to have this whole past as base for something more.
And thank you so much!! Have a nice day <3

I hateeee how asoiaf has just become the "incest books lol" to so many people. what a dumb and reductive way to look at a series that has so much more like. of all the things you could say are the central themes of asoiaf incest in not one of them lmao.(yes obviously it's present, but not nearly as much as people make it out to be)
And this isn't about people who havent read it and are just judging from the outside bc who gives a shit about them.
But I see this mostly from fans and its just??? what the fuck did you read/watch lmao. I mean even hotd which centers around thee incest family isnt about the incest and you'd have to have negative media literacy to think it is.
Also it's fucking insane how being uncomfortable with incest shipping gets you ridiculed in this fandom lmao.
like I'm not here to be the morality police ship whatever the fuck you want idc. but dont be surprised when it makes people uncomfortable???
"ummm if you dont like incest why are you reading the incest books/watching the incest show??? weirdo" I dont fucking know man maybe all the other 348593 interesting things it's about. just a guess.
And these are the same people who go on about "well just bc you write something fucked up doest mean you agree with it" which. yes! true!! then why do you uncritically endorse targ incest blood purity 😭 do you think maybe that's one of the things grrm wrote that he doesnt agree with?
of course not, hotd is a cautionary tale about the dangers of not doing incest and what happens when you let your pure valyrian blood be contaminated by gross peasant genes from outside your family ^_^ obviously ^_^
and anyone who's not into your incest ships is a bigot <3
"but it's normal in their world!1!11!!!" no its not lol. and even if it was. marrying children is also normal in their world what's your point

"i'm not disabled" followed immediately by "i've got bad knees and a bad back" is certainly something to read 🤨 you know it doesn't have to be cripling for it to count, right...? it's not normal to be in pain after 15 minutes of standing. ableds can stand for, like, an hour at a time before they need to sit.
i know! i appreciate the concern, but i uh. dunno lol. genuinely i don't know. but i included the afaik ("i'm not disabled afaik" was the original phrase, though i'm not like mad at you for excluding it or anything) because i'm well aware that it's a possibility. it's hard to explain but there's a lot of little things that don't add up to much but are like. noticeable. like i would prefer to do most things sitting, if i could, as a matter of comfort. it would be easier for me. and walking isn't as bad as just standing. i've never been great at taking care of my body, and this has only gotten worse with time. it's hard for me to know what i should read as necessity and what i should read as preference, and how much weight to put on said preferences. like you said, i know it doesn't need to be "if i don't sit down i'm going to collapse" or anything, but where to draw that line between Definitely A Medical Thing That Affects Me More Than Other People and.. not that, i'm not sure. i kinda just thought i was a persistently slightly tired and low energy person, but it doesn't seem bad enough to be chronic fatigue, so...? is it related to the half-diagnosed. idk it's complicated depression (and yes in hindsight i probably should've counted that as disabling but whatever)? idk it's not a rabbit hole i've explored much at all is my point. but i know it's there and uh i guess this was sort of validating in a way anon so.. yeah? yeah👍

i will never understand the people who see someone wearing one of those tails on their pants and are like “omg it’s a BUTTPLUG!!! EW!!!” Firstly because, like, 9 times out of 10 the person in question is just some tween/teen expressing themself with silly fashion and it’s so weird to imply anything sexual is going on there, especially as a grown adult?? But secondly, I’m sorry but, like. Do you know where your butthole is? Because i PERSONALLY have never worn a buttplug tail, but i have a butthole, and i feel like if i wanted to display something attached to it, i’d have to cut a hole in the seat of my pants or something. Like how do they think a tail attached to the WAIST of someone’s pants could ALSO be simultaneously inside their asshole???? Like MAYBE if it’s a really long tail? but i feel like you’d be able to see that it’s coming from INSIDE the pants rather than attached to the outside.
obviously i agree that practicing kink requires consent and it’s wrong to involve unconsenting members of the public in sexual roleplay but like. I am so convinced that is almost NEVER what’s happening with the tail wearing. People just see something a little out of the ordinary and automatically assume it’s a sex thing bc they lack whimsy and zest for life.

i'm sorry i can't hold it in anymore. darby's explanation for the sages is so painfully fuuuuucking boring. something something the sages are reincarnations, so they aren't really battling with a separate malicious entity but rather experiencing an internal struggle between their current self and their past self. something something it's actually far more interesting for it to be an internal conflict between a sage's current and past lives versus it being a battle between good and evil.
like to a certain degree... yes. but regardless of how you want to spin it, there is something so entitled and yes, evil, about the norse isu drinking the yygdrasil kool aid and expecting some poor unsuspecting human 20something thousand years in the future to be totally down to embrace their memories and allow them to live what is essentially their second life as they see fit. that whole idea is, at the very least, so undeniably selfish regardless of their intentions. and if your way of showing this conflict in the narrative has always been either 1) the sage goes completely insane or 2) the sage embraces those memories at the cost of their self, then how the hell else are people supposed to interpret it other than it being a battle with something malignant, regardless of whether it's a separate entity entirely or something more akin to a mental illness?
like sure. eivor is literally a reincarnation of odin. fine, ok, whatever. but there is an eivor who formed her own distinct personality separate from odin during the first nine years of her life before the memories started seeping in, and even further still during the 22 or so years between her beginning to remember her past life and her "banishing" odin in the yygdrasil simulation. when the choices here are either "surrender" or "be slowly driven mad by the memories imposed on you by an ancient being" then why the hell shouldn't i interpret the isu as parasites that slowly destroy their hosts?
my whole point being: it's less interesting to YOU maybe. but me? i'm over here thinking about the battle of wills between eivor and the hostile ancient being who lives in her head. the battle she thinks she can never possibly win because as far as she knows, this is the all father, the king of the gods, the high one himself. but then against all odds she is able to keep her head, with her family and her community being the things that keep her grounded and anchored in reality.
i'm over here thinking about basim slowly becoming a different person and hytham standing by as an outside observer and watching his father figure become ever more distant. hytham who becomes increasingly reckless in an effort to regain the favour of his mentor because he is convinced that he did something to trigger this change in their relationship, and that recklessness culminating in his failed assassination attempt on kjotve. hytham nearly dying to regain that connection with his mentor, with his father figure while basim, now loki, has already written him off.
i'm over here thinking about sigurd, who definitely has the most... agreeable of those three gods living in his head, but nonetheless becomes a raging tyrant who alienates everyone who loves him because he cannot reconcile these new memories with what he knows, cannot reconcile the fact that he is a god reborn with the fact that he had his crown stolen out from under him and that nobody else can see what he sees in himself.
i just fail to understand what's supposedly so uninteresting about digging into the inherent horror of having your own mind and your sense of self superseded by thoughts and feelings and memories that don't belong to you, but to an ancient being that might as well be an alien to you.
the writers will talk about wanting to keep things "grounded" while working within a universe that includes an ancient race of godlike beings, two shadow organizations constantly at war with each other throughout history while most people are none the wiser to the conflict, and a device that allows people to relive the memories of long dead people through fucking dna. please be serious.
