AHSOKA is a character that I have a deep attachment to, despite also believing she has overstayed her welcome. When I first got into Star Wars, I was instantly drawn to the prequels and the Jedi. Ahsoka served her character purpose as my vehicle into how the Jedi Order ran, why they believed the things they did, and how they could have fallen are hard as they did. As Ahsoka learned how to be a better Jedi and Commander in the Clone Wars, so did I. As she grew older, learned and failed and succeeded and changed, I did too. And for that, she will always have a special place in my heart.

LA Wildfire Relief & Unhoused/Mutual Aid Donation Info 1/10/25

Hello friends, I've made a list of some of the many, many amazing grassroots organizations and mutual aid groups here in LA that are helping out with wildfire relief, advocacy for our unhoused communities, and advocacy for our firefighters—many of whom are incarcerated individuals making slave wages with no guarantee of continued employment once freed.

We've seen an incredible outpouring of volunteers in the last couple of days, but could still use all the help we can get. Even donating just a couple bucks or helping to spread the word is super super helpful!

This is by no means a comprehensive list, but I hope it provides a starting point for anyone who is looking to help out. Feel free to reblog and add more as needed, especially if there is an organization you want to highlight!

💙 MUTUAL AID LOS ANGELES NETWORK (MALAN) is an online directory for mutual aid groups across the greater Los Angeles area. They've also been maintaining a massive spreadsheet of available resources for anyone affected by the fires, as well as information for volunteers.
