#honkai star rail#dan heng#genuinely have a million things i wanna draw and then zero energy#so dan heng in a hoodie#now i gotta go get dinner sooooo maybe that will give energy and then i can draw more of what i actually wanna draw#but i kinda spent like ... hours ? talking to my mom earlier today#since shes been in the hospital for many many days#so i was catching her up on whats been goin on and showed her silly lil videos#and telling her how hyped i was for summer hrid and she (very patient with my fe talk)#was like you always tell me about banners being bad so it must have made you REALLY happy to say the whole banner is good#and im like yeah and i had multiple people on multiple sites like hey salmon/moeblob did ya see the banner#and she was like thats so cool that people acknowledge who you like and im like yeah it is p cool#and then i told her how mad i was at the absolutely criminal act of limiting how you can watch clue (1985 hit movie)#like i told her yeah sure i own it twice on dvd and once on itunes and that the only way to watch those#are either desktop or ps2 and how i dont have access to my itunes email#and i dont have it on my laptop so i sadly would have to rebuy the movie on itunes under a new acct#then i said how i loved that it was free to watch with ads on yt and id watched it twice that way#but then recently wanted to watch it on there but laptop and hoo boy you have to buy or rent it now#so i v angrily was like fine whatever ill do the thing and leave my room and go watch it on my moms tv#while she isnt around and use her amazon prime where it should be included except ! IT WASNT!#YOU HAVE TO HAVE PRIME TO BUY OR RENT IT NOW TOO!#HOW ARE THEY DOING THIS AND WHY ! who in the world is watching this movie so much that isnt me that they have to charge for it now#on all platforms unless you straight up pirate it#and hey why would i of all people be needing to pirate a movie i own physically two times and digitally once#this is literally a personalized attack to me#and my mom was like i understand how you feel cause yeah thats really weird to do to a 1985 movie#and im like yes exactly i have morals and principles that make me opposed to this and its v maddening#and she said she understood and its ok next time we are having power issues and i have to shut down#that if i really wanna watch it i can rent it on her amazon account and i looked at her and shes like oh you feel v strongly about this#and i do! ok ive talked about my frustration w adam being fine after his cliffhanger at end of mi, but lest we forget that we were also baited w adam turmoil at end of cdth (not replying to any of ronans texts). i understand that tdt isnt supposed to be adam centric but pulling this TWICE is just mean :(
#literally. why was the narrative leading us to concern for adams wellbeing and then him being fine w no explanation#ok. ill give u that ronan getting paranoid over adam not replying when he was just in class cld be character relevant#and thats all ronan pov#but the end of MI is like. third person omniscent showing us all the consequences of turning off line! its kinda objective#overall theres so much foreshadowing that adam scrying alone is gonna get him in trouble!#and where were the consequences!#im not even the hugest adam girlie like im not the type to insist he get tons of screentime but like.#if ur gonna put him in the story and make us care about him theres gonna be narrative payoff#as i said earlier this week. theres a pretty clear way to put the pieces together#adam is scrying dangerously alone + inventing new self bc cant trust friends w his authentic self#=> experiences consequences but someone helps him#=> adam realizes he can expand his trust and rely on others instead of going back to self isolating instincts#and those people cld be his friends or lynch fam/other tdt mains#its a way of simply continuing his trc arc in new territory. ofc more exciting things cld be done w adam but its not his book

will say it is SO challenging to capture liams voice. when i was rewatching it on my bday w my friend i was STILL noticing things . character dialogue is so complex and i NEED to perfect it or ill collapse into the ground
#like i noticed that like. his 'optimism' is USUALLY rephrased pessimism almost?#most notablel example being when amelia asks if hes ok wearing the cast and he says 'its fine ill get used to it'#which like. i think ppl overplay him not verbalizing his emotions#which i think he TECHNICALLY does but not in the way people depict it?#hes not trying to Spare people the Concern#it comes across more like. frustration that hes TRYING to be optimistic about .but its poorly executed#as the series goes on it only gets more complex#also when hes talking to bryce in ep 6 he talks slower than usual? which i Tried to capture in that earlier aart from today#he also kinda does it in ep 10? but i think he gets indignant enough that it like. the frustration overpowers any despair#and he ends up talking FASTER actually.#also i will say that liam talks like. surprisingly Detailed ? but still concise#always think about his decription of the waiting room#and also him saying that bryce being 'complicit ticks [him] off'#its such a Specific way to describe it ?? if that makes sense??#like he REALLY often phrases things Well and it comes across kinda odd#but also. thatperson has said hed name a cat 'smth practical. like fluffy'#which i mention a LOT but look. i think it so well captures the way he Goes About Things#so even when hes frustrated he STILL details things like. practically#anyway yea . yea.#a few years back i saw someone make like. a character writing guide for another series i like#and sometimes i think itd be SO fun to make smth like that for liam. maybe even other one characters

the thing with autism right. is i know if i was having a full mental health crisis what i would end up doing is going to the emergency room and being like "hello, my name is (x) birthday (y), um i was hoping to talk to you about potential mental health inpatient care? i'm currently having a mental health crisis and don't think i can be trusted on my own" like if there's one thing i can be sure will live on in me no matter how hard the brainworms try. is my fucking customer service voice
#like itll be busted as fuck because ill be freaking out but you bet ill be sobbing my way through verbally drafting an email#ive done it before‚ like im a frustrated crier and once i start crying i cant turn it off so ive had a couple times where i had a breakdown#at work‚ cried about it a lot‚ and my lead pulled me into a meeting room after i calmed down to check in#and as soon as i started talking it just started again so i had to be like 'sorry th-this is just something m-m-my bod-dy does‚ i-i'm calm#m-mentally but i just c-cant turn this-is off‚ just try to i-ignore HIC it and f-f-focus-s on the w-wwwords‚#(tired of crytyping so just mentally fill it in yourself in everything else i say)#n they offered me more time to chill but im like no really i genuinely am calm‚ i calm down wayyy before my body does its gonna#keep doing this on and off all day‚ it takes hours for it to fully calm down and is on a hair trigger the entire time#so thinking about this will make it kick back up again no matter what unless we talk tomorrow‚ so if youre ok with bearing with me then cool#and theyre like. dang ok and just focused on what i said#or much more recently i was talking to my roommate‚ stopped‚ held up a finger + stood there silently for ten seconds‚#then was like 'sorry about that‚ i think i have to throw up. excuse me for a moment. what was that? oh gotcha yeah i'll message you if i#need anything‚ thank you'#and just typing it out like that it sounds like i was fine and just saw it coming a ways away. however that is not the case#i had had my covid booster and some other vaccine earlier that day‚ lost 5 vials of blood‚ eaten Nothing‚ drank only#acidic-ass apple juice‚ and had just hit my vape too hard#keeping it in once it made its presence known was a feat of will the likes of which have never been seen before#and still my sentences prevail

worst experience in the world is someone explaining to you so thoroughly and carefully how this adult thing is going to work and then you do the thing and you call the guys to make the appointment and turns out they lied
#me: hi i'm transferring from the Kid Clinic to the Big Person clinic i need an appointment#receptionist: so you want one before your birthday?#me: w. well that's not what they said i'd. ...uh huh that's fine#receptionist: ok. 9:30 am on a day before your birthday#me: well i'm transferring from the kid clinic and they told me they'd want to see me earlier in the day and-#receptionist: i don't have any earlier times on that day#me: *thats fine.*#im on my hands and knees over here#they also scheduled me a week before that for a test that's going to take 5 fucking minutes#it takes 30-45 minutes to drive there you can't be serious#ALSO. they had me go through one of those stupid 'if you are this press 1' things and i specifically told it to#take me to the clinic for my specific chronic illness#and i don't think the receptionist. was part of that clinic#like god fucking damn i was told i was going to be contacted by the cf guys not this entire separate group

desperately trying to not be an asshole when i correct my non-native speaker friend on her frecnh
