Me? Posting finished art? Ain't no way :O

No but @korruptbrekker reached out to me and asked if I was interested in doing a collab (go check out their piece here, I implore you), and you know I could not say no to such a wonderful artist asking lil ol me to do something fun like this. We ended up doing a swap @laugaheim and I came up with ages ago that I so sussinctly refer to as a moodboard-sketch-lineart-render swap. Rolls right off the tongue, right? Nah but it's exactly what it says. Make moodboards, swap and sketch from the other's, swap again and line the other's sketch, and then swap once again and finish the piece you sketched.

Very big thanks to Brekker for reaching out! This was so fun, I hope we can do something together again in the future!

#deltarune #asks #drawings #asgore #spade #king of spades #spade king #asgore dreemurr #spadesgore #technically #king spade #no one asked but i want to elaborate #asgore describes colours in pairs not just because it might be the only colour theory he knows #but because thats also how he generally just sees. people and their traits #as if everything needs something to compliment #hence why he feels so out of place and useless to himself when hes not married/in a relationship #the way he describes yellow and purple are a good way to describe him and toriel in undertale #royal colours that are tied to hope but they only shine when theyre constracted against the grim tragedy that shaped them #with blue and orange it kind of describes sans and papyrus especially with how their comedic timing works #like when youre alone with sans in mtt resort the tone is a LOT more somber - colder #but when papyrus is by himself hes all jumpy and shit and he hardly seems as down to earth as he does with sans around #and red and green imo are the most important in analysing asgore specifically bc his weapon is red #but his shirt colour in post pacifist and deltarune is pink - literally a softer version of the cruelty we KNOW hes capable of #he describes it as just sort of -fitting- with the greenery he surrounds himself with and i think that mostly has to do with what he WANTS #all the plants and the greenery are ALIVE but almost toxic. meanwhile someone else most prominantly associated with red is rudy #the guys whole gimmick is having a bright red nose #its like asgore surrounds himself with the colour that would compliment the person he wants #or literally wearing their colours a la him and toriel having the same shade of blue on in undertale #and spade? hes just emo. he likes black because its a lack of colour - a lack of light #the reason he works as a good parallel to asgore in this sense is because he breaks asgores dychotamy and forces his own

#hello to anyone who happens to b interested in the saga of my life... also maybe the irl person i gave my url to... hopefully my blog #didnt freak her out too much lol. anyway so its been a busy week? 2 weeks? month? year? life? its been a lot. my parents helped me move #across the country from the desert to somewhere that's beautiful and green. my dad is so jealous of me lol its so so so pretty and theres s #so much to do. will i do any of it? that remains to be seen but im gonna try to be better about that sort of thing. try to get some help #with the thoughts in my head that keep me from doing and enjoying most things. its weird like im decorating my new room which i love. the #location and living situation seem ideal and i really hope i can stay here all 5 years of my program but i was picking a lot of bright #colors and now it feel uncomfortable. like if i wear things that r too bright or my room is too bright without dark contrast it feel weird #like if im wearing it it kinda makes me feel sick. idk what thats abt. anyway. ill try to heal my brain and im just so happy to b out of the #southwest. i was so so so excited when we were leaving thr city and even more so when we left the state. i cant believe im here. in December #it felt like a million years away and i really truely could not fathom how i was gonna survive that long. my thoughts were so distorted. but #i did and here i am. and in like a month i should b starting my phd program and my parents were telling me how excited ppl r for me and #jealous of where im living and im glad. im glad they're excited. i think i am too but its under a layer of: if i get excited it wont happen #im not allowed to b excited or it wont happen. which is irrational but ya kno. anyway so that's yeah. im so happy to have a fresh start and #the town seems super cool. a liberal blip in a sea of... not that so theyre very visibly pride forward haha and i think itll b way easier #for me to get around without driving. and im gonna try to make friends. i need someone to tell me where to get tattoos haha. so yea im happy #but exhausted and i dont wanna go back to work and so so greatful to my parents for being wonderful ppl idk how bc both of them had fucked #up childhoods. like my mum will say the saddest shit and im like bro this is y i don't wanna talk to my grandma fuck her and my dads parents #r so fucked. like my nana is the reason im so fucking control freaked out but i kno i have issues and she has no insight and thinks shes #better than everyone. anyway hopefully i can get back to drawing a posting more now. ive been drawing it its been in a sketch book #like an actual sketch book for sketching big ideas thst r gonna take fucking forever to draw 😭#so that's all. just uprooted my whole life. thats all. but in a good way :-]#unrelated

#ootd #pastel #I really really want to SELL CLOTHES I keep talking about selling clothes.. its just such a process..hhhhhhh #Because you have to take pictures. edit the pictures. list them somewhere. write descriptions. choose a price. advertise the fact you listed #it somewhere. Repeat with literally hundreds of items (since I get bulk clothes at the bins and etc.). I have a lot of cool stuff that I thi #nk people into similar styles would want to buy. and I always need money to fund art and healthcare expenses and eventually moving to a diff #erent place someday. replacing broken electronics. etc. etc. So a wise decision is 'well sell a lot of the old clothes you have'. It is so #difficutl with my specific functioning issues though since it's such a long process and also packing things up. taking them to the post offi #ce etc. takes timing since I always have to be driven by roomates and stuff. etc. etc.#I think the way I was considering getting around this was to sell clothing in 'packs' like.. A pack of 5 or 6 matching items the same shade #of pink. or all green items with flowers so it's the same 'nature theme'. Or even selling full outfits or something. so that way I can kind #of bundle items. Instead of the effort of photograohing and listing literally 50 individual items. Turn them into 5 packs of 10. Or 10 packs #of 5. etc. ? But I think I never got too far with that because I was uncertain how that'd actually go over in terms of whether people would #buy groups of items instead of just individual. Especially whole outfits or something like. I think you'd get a wider audience giving people #more individual choice to choose seperate things instead of putting them together and going 'this is just what you get' or etc.#but I could also see it being cool. You already have some guaranteed stuff that matches. They have a theme. Especially if it's something you #like. Love brown themed mori kei items? here's 5 of them already together. etc. etc. etc.#ANYWAY. Came to mind because as much as I love anything with cats on it that's a light color. I also am chronically warm natured due to my #health issues so I overheat immensely if I wear sweaters. even in the winter I don't wear that many layers lol. So a sweater like this is ju #st impratical for me outside of taking one or two outfit photos with it. but I don't think I could ever actually wear it even if I really wa #nt to. But it's nice! and very cool!! so a good candidtate for selling. Uploading the Three Musketeers edit that I mentioned in the tags of my last post bc I spent 40-60 minutes on it and sacrificed all of my tablet storage space and I’m very proud of it

#if tumblr lets me upload it that is #the three musketeers #d’artagnan and the three musketeers #д’артаньян и три мушкетера #soviet cinema #I know no one’s gonna care about this but I’m posting it anyway #bc it’s my blog and I do what I want #it is currently musketeer hours in my brain #idk why #kuviren are very confused as to why they sometimes get a bunch of new roommates #it’s because my obsession with this film series comes and goes every few weeks whenever something triggers it #and then it goes away again after a couple days #ANYWAYS #this was actually a very fun exercise in colour and composition #I just scrolled back and forth on the 4 hour compilation of all three episodes on youtube #trying to spot scenes that fit each colour #I find it funny how there’s a very clear theme with each part #like cardinal richelieu is the only one who consistently wears bright red so he dominates the red scenes #milady is in a lot of yellow bc she’s blonde and her skin has a warm undertone and her main dress is yellow and black #green is just scenery mostly. fun fact movie was filmed in ukraine #and then blue is musketeer uniforms #*insert intense stimming here* I am Completely Normal about this #making this was really fun #I kinda wanna do it for some other fandoms but it takes so much storage space and effort #for very little feedback #I might if inspiration hits me idk #we’ll see #rant over

This just in, local catgirl discovers color!

(family and friends now wish she would discover a hairbrush)

This is one of my OC’s from The SOS Chronicles, Silvie, the (feral) little Aguithan girl that Oliver and Silas befriend in book 2. When she’s not sneaking around on special missions and trying to help her friends save her planet from its evil overlord, she likes wearing bright colors since she never had the opportunity before. She especially likes pink because someone (probably Andy James, the only person with any fashion sense in this series on account of growing up with at least 4 sisters) told her it looked good on her. This pink and brown jacket is her favorite article of clothing and she wears it everywhere when she doesn’t need to be sneaky. The matching pants were just a bonus.

I’m also realizing that I think this is the first time I’ve drawn her in color??? So a little breakdown here: her fur is brown and it covers her face, arms and torso in varying lengths as you can see. Her legs and tail are scaled and iridescent, which is unfortunately very hard to show with colored pencils but I did my best by blending olive green and a few shades of purple together. I don’t know if you can tell, but her eyes are yellow.

#ignore my five minute scribbles but. it is very much the key wives #ash rambles 💚#also I forgot ash's armor but shhh. her design is pretty cool (if i do say so herself)#the main attraction is her long red coat! her and her best friend (eventually wife) are the red/blue couple #she really loves her coat! it was a gift from her adoptive dad! e.raqus!#in her first appearance she only wears one glove on her right hand #but she gets some very nasty burns on her hands while trying to save her best friend #(she fails. it really fucks her up. losing her bffs and her dad for a decade. shes all alone.)#so she has black bandages on her hands in all her appearances after b.irth b.y s.leep #it's not that the wounds havent healed—it's that she doesnt want to be reminded of how weak she is. how much of a failure she is #just a pathetic little girl who didnt deserve her title of Master anymore. she's very sad for that decade. it's bad.#eventually when she does reunite with her best friend shes scared to take the bandages off. a.qua shouldnt have to see that side of her...#a.qua tells her that theyve been best friends since they were kids. theres nothing to hide.#it's not until a.qua sees those hand scars that they begin to date. theyre childhood sweethearts! theyre very cute together!!! so gay!!#i love her sooo much! theyve got a lot of baggage with a.qua being trapped in the Realm of Darkness for a decade and Ash being all alone and #struggling with a horrible case of survivor's guilt but. they make it work. they always have ever since they were little kids.#i really like my k.h s/i!!! hope you like her too hehe! also her k.eyblade is green and red and silver and named Starfire #but yeah. red/blue couples for the win! especially when theyre a.qua/ash-#a.qua gets down on one knee a couple yrs after k.h3 and they get married a wee bit after that #their kiddo is super cool too! name is violet (she/they) and they're the coolest key kid on the block hehe!#anyways yeah. good morning-

also cuz I was complaining about makeup yesterday, my phone camera kinda smothered the green color in this (and it should be brighter. i will make it brighter.) but yes i did go to Salem for cider on the eve of Halloween Month looking like PSL Barbie, as is my god-given right

#i am probably using this as a wedding look but I'm also probably gonna find a brighter green eye shadow tomorrow #ngl cuz i saw the naked wild west palette yesterday and it is literally my ideal palette and i need a brighter green so #i literally do not own foundation so i get to own nice fun-colored things dont judge me #will say. my skin actually looks nicer in this pic than it is. but the selfie camera does the smoothing thing hence the color smothering #tbh the funniest thing is that i know how to do nice makeup cuz like #a long time ago i noticed my now-trumper cousin's wife always wore interesting two-toned eye makeup to events #and i was like 'I'm gonna reverse engineer that'#and then i did #cuz otherwise i don't wear makeup at ALL i refuse to contour #so it is funny that I'm like 'yes i can do nice eye makeup. no do not ask me to contour i refuse.'#i COULD cuz it's similar in that it's just about high and low lights but #anyway my skin is not great cuz i spent so long putting on so much foundation and it made my skin atrocious and it has never recovered #but it's a LOT better now than it ever was through like. idk a couple of years ago when i finally ditched foundation cold turkey?#this just in: through out your bare essentials kits folks.#you don't need 'em

If you’re currently a high schooler; befriend the “cringe” neurodivergent queer kids at your school because if you don’t, many of those kids will be left alone, and vulnerable to things like radqueer spaces online.

They might seem “annoying” or they might like things you think are cringey, but just that little bit of kindness saves a lot of people! And it saved me.
