“What do you want to sing?” 

You looked at the monitor he rolled in front of you and squinted your eyes. Your finger pushed the list up and a wide grin was instantly on your face. 

“No… Come on… You know how terrible I sing,” he tried to leave you on a tiny stage but your grip on his leather jacket stopped him. 

“Come on baby, no one can sing here. And it's not true, I like your sweet falsetto,” you kissed the tip of his nose and made him huff. 

“You're not making it better,” he growled into your ear sending goosebumps down your neck. 

Using your ultimate weapon, The Pout, made him finally push the play button and grab the microphone. 

A familiar tune started, making you want to snap your fingers to it until Colt's part came, a bit too sudden for him but he quickly caught the tempo.

Colt gut punched him and tried to get away from the attacker, circling him in some almost like dance move. Before the guy could turn, the kick in his ass sent him to the wall and the ground. 

“Guys, guys! It's delicate equipment!” you've heard the bartender's pleading voice and shout to Colt when one of the men picked up the microphone and swung with it. He dropped at the last moment and made the guy tangle in the cables and fall… 

A hard knock to his forehead made Colt stumble to the back, not getting exactly where it came from but before he could take another blow, you screamed and punched the man holding a heavy ashtray, square into his jaw, just like Colt taught you, sending him to the ground. 

You turned to your man swaying on his feet, catching his open jacket and jeans shirt under it, pulling him into an embrace. 

“God Colt, that looks awful…” blood trickled from his busted brow, caught up in his short beard. 

“You were amazing,” he smiled and let you move him toward your seats. 

You called for the bartender and asked for some clean cloth and he reluctantly brought one from the back and looked at you with narrowed eyes. 

“Now pay up and leave before I call the cops… And don't come back…” his tone was more of a pleading but you still huffed in amusement. They're the ones who started it all! 

Colt already put the bill, with some extra ‘for a trouble’, on the counter and headed for the door, pushing balled material into his throbbing head. 

You whisked the keys from his pocket and he didn't protest, going right to the passenger seat in his truck.

Your eyes flickered up to the crowd, immediately finding Seungmin's, before you looked back down at the audience.

S5 Theory Part Three

SO

Here are my theories with all the info I have from The Dark Tower universe.

Disclaimer: Im not saying any of these are right, likely to happen, or that I necessarily even want them to happen. I just think that btwn learning ab TDT and rewatching stranger things, these are fun theories to consider!

*SPOILERS FOR SEASON 1-4 AHEAD*

*MENTIONS OF S5 BTS CONTENT AHEAD* I think S5 will come out on July 15th, 2025—the ninth anniversary! It will take place over the course of several months rather than a week or two like we have seen in the past. I think it will start in late summer, back-to-school time. I think we will see a lot more of Mr. Clark this season, and he will fill some of the scientist roles (along with new casting) we will be missing after S4's deaths. We will see a lot more flashbacks this season, either due to trying to keep Vecna out with positive memories or just reminiscing. Vecna will return to Hawkins lab at some point. Possibly a significant battle or it will be his lair. Vecna takes Holly, but I'm not sure he kills her (Like an 80% chance he does tho) I think with the increased army presence, we may see the kids lose the ability to see or visit Max (since she is a Venca victim). Nancy has a candy stripper/nurse outfit this season because they are trying to sneak in to see/save her in some way. I'm at about 60% on the chance of Kalli coming back. If she does, it will either help El train or help El defeat Vecna. Nancy detective journalist era, but she isn't going to leave for college. She would never just dip like that. Stobin or Nancy work at the radio station set we've seen. Hopper will either be stuck in hiding with El or in the army, but only as a means of gathering intel.

I think that people were not far off on the Kas theory. I think there will be a character that represents Kas, but it'll be Will. In S4 they talk about how Vecna doesn't kill his victims, he absorbs their abilities/souls. We also see that El can revive the dead (Max) in some way. That skill isn't practiced on her part, and we know Vecna is stronger than she is. I think Vecna kills Will and then revives him using memories like El did to Max, but only uses his darkest memories. These memories turn him against his friends, at which point he becomes Kas. Mike will be the key to getting Will back (since Mike is the heart). Mike will have to confront his romantic or platonic feelings for Will while reminding him of their good memories. This will lead to Will delivering the final blow to Vecna (like Kas) when he remembers.

I also think the idea of "Twinners" from The Talisman will come into play, but not quite in the same way. Instead of them all having Upside Down twins, I think Vecna will reanimate the corpses of his victims (since we've seen that the bodies are still in the Upside Down) and use these reanimated corpses to torture the MCs. Especially bc we know that it's all a hive mind so anyone killed by a part of Vecna's hive mind was technically killed by Vecna (depending on if thats how they wanna spin it). Specifically, I think Dustin will be either Vecna'd (but not killed) or have to see Eddie's reanimated corpse (fitting in with strange similarities between Eddie and Metallica's Eddie). Barb will return to torture Nancy, Bob returning for Joyce, etc.

In the Talisman universe, there is a plot where the person who opens the gate banishes himself to an alternate universe and closes the gate forever, forcing himself to leave behind everyone he loves. I think this is how El's story will end. She won't die but instead will have to stay in the Upside Down forever. In the end, we will see a crying Mike looking up and noticing the light above him glowing brightly, showing how he and El may continue communicating.

Characters I think could die:

Vicki (they loooove giving us a new character to fall in love with so they can brutally kill them that same season)

Steve (sacrificing himself for the Dustin, Robin, or Johnathan.) Holly (Maybe, it just seems too easy) Dr. Owens Vecna (Duh) Either Lucas or Max (I think Max may come back only to lose Lucas) Murray Ted Wheeler Wayne Munson (following Eddie's reanimated corpse into the upside down; I think that's how they reveal that Vecna reanimated the bodies)

Characters that I think are 100% going to survive: Mike Dustin (will try to be a hero like Eddie, but Steve will sacrifice himself to save Dustin (I think at the church)) Will Joyce Karen Wheeler

Anyone else, I'm not sure they are safe, but I also don't think they are going to die.

See I have two questions I’m confused about now thanks to this deleted scene video and the BT response to it.

1) the Hen didn’t respect her queer elder.

Weren’t the BT fans like just last week? Throwing a fit over people calling Tommy Old and saying it didn’t matter how old he was. He wasn’t that old. And even going so far to DM Tim to try and find out his age. And now suddenly it’s “respect your elders”

We’re not gonna touch on the way it also reads as them saying the female poc needs to respect her superior white man 🙃

But also nice of them to I guess admit Tommy is old? Which brings back to what they originally were mad at about..?

2) redemption arc

I’ve seen multiple BT fans now saying after this clip they are getting the Tommy redemption arc finally. (He’s not) BUT

I’m confused on what exactly he’s being redeemed for? Haven’t they been saying for months now that Tommy didn’t do anything? It was Sal and Gerard. Tommy was innocent. Tommy maybe did some light teasing per Lou. Buddie fans are just exaggerating and hating on Lou/Tommy to hate.

So if Tommy didn’t do anything…then why does he need a redemption arc…?

Now I admit I’m not a fan of Tommy. And I don’t know if any of the BT fans read your blog but if you post this and they do, I am genuinely curious about their response to these questions because it really doesn’t seem like even they know which argument they are trying to make for this character.

The thing with the elder gay is even crazier when you realize Hen has been out longer. Last week there was the tantrum because realistic he's closer to 50 than 40. Now he's the elder queer?? I did see that coming tho, because they have been fighting queer women the whole time, them turning on Hen was a matter of time. And the redemption thing, you're asking for logic from a group that has proved multiple times they are incapable of logical thinking. But they have been scrambling trying to find a redemption for him. "he was abused as a child" "he was young and impressionable" (I think that's part of how mad they are at the idea of him being older, they need him to be as young as possible during the begins episodes to justify his actions) "he was protecting himself in the ways he could" none of that is actually backed by canon, so they were hoping Hen would say all is forgiven since Hen was a victim and queer. They very much want the show to make it so Tommy was a victim of Gerrard too and was acting that way to protect himself.

I do want to say that despite Jimin’s kind nature and will to make things work, he has taken a lot of distance from both Jk and Th in these last years. Sometimes routine keeps people together and also trauma bonds are real. BTS went through so much since the beginning so it’s not rare that the level of fame, their schedules and challenges they had to face kept them together for so long since they were the only ones who could understand their own situation.

Now that they are all in a much better place, you can tell they are not that compatible (at least Jimin and the other 2 ML). They have different ambitions, philosophies and even morals. Jimin is a hardworking guys who takes his craft very seriously, wants to improve his artistry, started producing his own music and has found a new passion for songwriting. He also seems to be more reserved and not a fan of the celebrity lifestyle or even social media. Of course BTS is still a project he’s part of so he will try to balance all the activities and relationships involved. But overall chapter 2 has been very eye opening to the members’ real personalities and dynamics, without the group activities acting like a glue.

I don’t know about the future of the group ( frankly I don’t see them coming back to what they once were) but I love seeing Jimin entering a new era in his life with ambition, maturity and more confidence. That involves drifting away from people and cutting some relationships especially when they are one sided.

Jimin wasn't ignoring those two only then, like the other anon said there's still a clear distance. There's an obvious distance that wasn't there and I really don't think a travel show filmed for the sake of the fans is changing that. Because after all that they're going back to the way they are behind the scenes. You can only be distant for so long, they're literally in a group. It's a given that they would fall back to their usual ways the moment they get to spend time together.

And I understand the frustration I really do, but I really think jimin will be free of their hatred even if he does cut those members off completely, I think their obsession with him might reduce a bit when they officially announce their real partners but not even then because taekookers and these other akgaes do not only hate jimin because of that ship... they just don't like him.

In one of your weekly roundups you talked about Century of Love and Offroad chewing the scene disrupting your enjoyment. Two questions:

What do you mean by 'Chewing the scene'? I think I get it but am not exactly sure

There have been some discussions of the on-set atmosphere and perhaps the director's attitude towards the actors (Offroad specifically), how much does this impact the actor's ability to do their job. I say this as I think Offroad has a lot of potential, but wonder if on-set drama may have negatively impacted him.

2. I can't/won't comment on the specifics of this. But Imma gonna try to explain a bit.

Directors yell at actors all the time in my experience, but yelling at someone in Thailand (out of anger or frustration) is NOT normal, culturally speaking.

The answer in general (broad brush strokes) is the impact of this kind of abuse (for lack of a better term) depends on the personality of actor in question. Some get stuck in their heads with a difficult director and their performances deteriorate, some can switch it on an off. Generally, younger actors will have a harder time with director conflict, but that is not a universal.

It's a little like asking how much does a coach impact their athlete's performance in a competition. It's more significant early on in a career, but talent/natural ability counts for a lot. BUT we still see very seasoned athletes switch coaches and that's for a reason usually personality related.

In other words: a bad/difficult director may or may not impact a very good/seasoned actor but will impact a very green or not great actor.

In Offroad's case, we can only compare this performance to his pervious one (Love in Translation), and I personally loathed that character (and likely would regardless of performer) and thus I can't really judge.

I still have an opinion, of course I do. I personally think he has a tendency to overact, just going from LIT and this one. He may be being directed to do so, because that is part of Thailand's style - especially with more comedic, cheerful, and uke characters.

IMHO a good director could/should rein this tendency in, but I'm not seeing it on my screen in Century of Love. So this could be the director's fault, or the director might not see this as a flaw. I have no idea.

That said, this could also be where his current director's frustration is coming from. If Offroad is being consistently directed to pull back to match Daou's style and not doing it, that would piss of any director.

Which is a very long way of saying, from this side of the screen, we have no idea what is actually going on, even with the BTS leaks. Any set is a boiling pot of emotions and tensions, mistakes and one crisis after another.

I will input a warning tho. If the set is VERY toxic it can detrimentally impact the actor's career and feelings about acting. If Offorad breaks his pair or leaves the industry after this show finishes it's promo run, it is a pretty solid sign that this director was a BIG problem.

An actor can be forced out of the industry by a director, but it almost never goes the other direction (unless there is a criminal legal element).

nico - rarely uses it, mostly just shows up in random comment sections which always surprises everyone. occasionally he'll be forced to make some promo vids or smth but it's always very halfhearted or joking, think conan gray's tt LMAO i also think he'd be using those filters all the time idk like the ones that generate "what godly parent are you" "what celebrity look alike" that sort of stuff, occasionally he'll also do very very long rants on 2x speed (so that makes it so fast pretty much no one can understand) and post them on priv

will - even MORE rarely uses it. was forced to make one by leo. he goes months without looking and then posts a bunch of priv videos in a week. occasionally he'll post one public vid or msth taking part in a trend and it'll go super super viral for no reason (except a million people asking where they recognize him from)

leo - most followers somehow because i do think he'd get super viral with the tiktok algorithm. constantly posting videos, mostly just him and his friends doing random stuff or audios with text being relatable/saying stupid jokes (will nico jason and piper make FREQUENT appearances here)

kayla - also super popular, def took part in the bratlympics trends but usually will do dances/trends or archery things, occasionally talking about her annoying brothers on there and also every now and then having to do an explanation video of "yes my dad is apollo and yes my other dad is darren knowles and yes my brother is best friends with nico di angelo and yes i know piper mclean pls stop asking questions about this" (nico makes a lot of appearances on her tt too)

jason - pure promotion stuff. clips from interviews and red carpets, he only posts when he's got something coming out

piper - lots of promotion stuff too, bts from photoshoots and stuff, but also her and leo prob do a bunch of dances and stuff like that. overall she, leo, and kayla do the best/are the most active on tt

apollo - he doesn't post on the actual apollo account he has but there is a delphi records account that people don't know he runs. and is active on. very frequently. he likes to comment on random small artists' posts or duet them just to watch them go viral and get attention!! also does the thing that nico does of appearing in the most random comment sections, and will comment on every single one of his kids' videos

austin - he doesn't have a tiktok account but at some point someone records a performance of his and posts it online and the audio goes viral. when kayla finds out that her brother went viral without even having the app downloaded she goes insane and will pester austin about creating an acc till the end of time but austin is very stubborn

Can we discuss claudia and louis attempting to kill lestat also because that does count as violence too doesn't it? I'm asking an honest question openly because I do agree louis and claudia faced much worse than lestat and lestat's unhinged violence to louis was horrifying and obviously racist PERIOD. but does the murder attempt count or how does that fit in :3

One thing I did notice is how much SR coddles lestat as a character. I get loving lestat, I get he plays him so he's going to tap into that love but when I watched the BTS clips after the episode he always justifies lestat's every action i.e. saying the ending scene btwn LL was so beautiful, or how lestat was trying to save louis during the trial. He never talks about real issues. As the "lead" he should imo. Ngl he makes lestat out to be the victim too at times, even vaguely.

I don't think we're done seeing that scene tbh. but what we've seen so far is, as the ask said, "romantic."

Lestat in the book is poisoned, throat slit, and stabbed multiple times in the chest. Claudia grabs him by the neck and bites into him as he's bleeding out on the floor, then he's left in a swamp once he's "dead." but he comes back a little later so then he's set on fire and stabbed and beaten more with a fireplace poker. He's *severely* disfigured after all of that and that's why he goes to Paris to see Armand and ends up in the trial instead. He's trying to seek Armand's blood to heal himself faster. Armand takes advantage of that tho to get Claudia killed (and he never gives him any healing blood). And *then* he pushes Lestat out of the tower and it breaks every bone in Lestat's body and takes him 2 years to heal from.

So then compare that to what the show ever did to him while Louis and Claudia are routinely shown getting fucked up and that's the problem.

Also ya SR does that. Although the more stuff I see over time, the more I start feeling like it's all intentional marketing bs from everyone bcuz nobody much is ever talking about anything. I understand that the point is to not rly ever villainize anyone, but idk why u make a series like this and skip over talking about some of the *best* parts of it?? SR said some of the most unhinged stuff about Lestat in the last Autumn Brown interview (which is a feat too bcuz she does not ask any pressing questions, he just was saying shit on his own lol) and everyone's letting that go by bcuz it doesn't fit the sweet and innocent vibes they mostly like lol.

Obviously I might be totally wrong but idk, I feel like T kinda muttered "god I hope so" into his wine glass & not directly at Buck & he was being maybe kinda insecure, like in his head maybe since we assume he's older & more experienced he might think that's why Buck is sticking around?

Like idk, it's a call back somehow to the first date and the closet comment? Like T wants this to work out because he thinks Buck is adorable but you know they aren't really clicking so ya know whatever works? (But eventually it will fully break down)

And the way Buck said "but you think I do?" about the daddy issues is like Buck goin "....wait what?" in his head because his head does tilt a bit to the side like 🤔🤔🤔 And it's showing that they don't fit.

Tho I do think the bit where T says "but your father is alive" wasn't meant to be snarky. Buck then says "Exactly" which I took as Buck being all "exactly, my dad's just THAT shitty and he's not going to change."

Off course then the speech Buck gave Chris is a bit eh, but like two things can be true at the same time. XD

Also I'm def not a bt shipper, Buddie all the way but yeah that's just how it came off to me. Lol.

I do keep think that maybe the like off putting moments are intentional because so many weird choices have been made with BT

For the your dad is alive I think I wasn’t super clear on my opinion on it but like I don’t mean he said it to be snarky per say more so that the implications behind that line are things like “you’d feel differently if he wasn’t” or “you can fix things before he does” or as if that’s something to be thankful for or recognise when talking about his pseudo father nearly dying

Like the reason I hate this line isn’t that it necessarily has to be cruel intentions on Tommys part but rather that this sorta narrative gets forced down traumatised peoples throats CONSTANTLY (sometimes with good intentions) and it’s such a bullshit rhetoric and it’s even more bullshit to use that line while talking about this found family/pseudo father he has nearly dying

Also yeah that’s definitely what that “exactly” was meant to be like yup a dead dad would at least be less traumatising, a lot easier to explain, and probably easier on my therapist than this clusterfuck but alas

BUCKS SPEECH TO CHRIS- okay lots of thoughts on this because my mom got confused and picked thought daughter:

Do I love that the writers low-key made it sound like he’s comparing Eddie to the Buckley parents? no I hate it but KR was writing for this ep so what did we expect

Do I think a marginally better way to interpret it is that it was more so continuing that theme of paralleling buck and Chris’ issues? Yes

Are the basic and I mean like the very abstract very simple and nothing further parallels there? Yeah like parent not over their grief causes conflict between parent and child

Other than that no not at all Eddie never involved Chris in this, Kim came over with her Shannon cosplay without telling him, Eddie also never intentionally emotionally harmed Chris while the Buckley parents spent bucks entire life intentionally being the absolute worst™️ and emotionally neglectful and were shit parents to Maddie too by forcing her to pretend her brother didn’t exist while she was a child and mourning said brother

But I also think it’s actually very in character for buck to continue to sympathise with them and cut them an impossible amount of slack by trying to draw parallels to this situation like it’s less trying to paint Eddie more like them and more so using Eddie (someone he cares about and loves and sympathises with deeply) as a frame of reference to mentally try to humanise and sympathise with his own parents - idk if I’m making sense but in my head it makes sense

Like it’s actually a pretty common thing you see with traumatised people they’ll sorta draw parallels that aren’t there between themselves or the people they care about and the people who traumatised them because a lot of traumatised people will just constantly seek to understand that perspective more and sympathise with it like hell I’ve seen it with the people in my life doing it and it’s like woah those situations are very different I need you to recognise that
