Au where Carver, instead of fleeing Ostagar, ends up with the hero of Fereldan, and follows them around to help stop the blight. He eventually ends up at Amaranthine, and becomes a full warden alongside all the others. He becomes kinda friends with Anders (I think he would be a bit less of an ass to pre justice anders) and somehow the two end up leaving for Kirkwall together.

Hawke walks into the clinic looking for grey warden maps and runs into their baby brother they thought was dead. He's just chilling in the sewer clinic like it's a normal thing to be doing.

I think what many people are missing from the Orym and Dorian conversation in 103 is that yes Orym was harsh towards Dorian, but no Orym was not cruel.

Orym has been constantly overlooked by the party, especially with his tragedy but he had never pushed them to understand where is his coming from... until now. Only to Dorian is Orym trying to display how he feels regarding his grief and regarding the Ludinus / god conversation. Why?

Because Orym desperately needs Dorian to understand him, to side with him when no one else has. So, he chastises Dorian for playing hypotheticals, and Dorian immediately understands that he has hurt Orym deeply by speaking so carelessly.

Does Dorian have a good reason to hate the Spider Queen and the gods? Yes. No one is denying that, but he hasn't told Orym what happened to him, Cyrus, or the Crown Keepers. If anything this is an opportunity for Dorian to open up to Orym about his own tragedy, because now he knows there's been a miscommunication between them.

Conflict is relationships is not toxic by default. Just because Orym chastised Dorian and he didn't immediately respond doesn't mean they are doomed. They love each other deeply, and care about where each other might fall. Sometimes they need to be checked.
