Take a bow Bells Hells!

Cus wow what a show... I'm going to miss them so much, I am so fond of each and every one of them. This was a group that fought so many inner demons (and real ones) a group figuring out who they were and who their family was, a group that ran through the forest full of deadly things 100% naked. Ya'll remember that??

Through the laughs and the joys, the ceiling crawling, moon magic, fae shenanigans. Through the tragedies, the deaths, the goodbyes. I enjoyed their story. So, not a goodbye to Bells Hells, but a thank you.

Love is a vine, it'll grow and entangle not only yourself but the others around you. Pull your pieces back together and keep someone's hand close to hold. Love is a vine, and no matter the damage, it will always continue to grow.

In my heart of hearts I’m sure that if the main campaign stays in Exandria they’ll shy away from too many familiar faces for a good long while

HOWEVER I can’t stop picturing 20 years in the future, Dorian Storm being a sort of Gilmore figure to a group of young adventurers- charming and powerful, making deals and granting favors, reminiscing about his own adventuring years long ago, and gushing about his cute husband (none of the party expects him to be a 3ftnothing halfling the way Dorian talks about his muscles)

The way Dorym since Dorian's return has been them working to one-up each other in the "romantic statements" department. Each one more vulnerable and devastating than the last, culminating in: "For the longest time, I walked under the light of the moons. But I think it's time I spent some time under the sun, with a clear blue sky." What a romance.

And still, it's the gentleness of a first love experience in the middle of a war and your own world breaking apart. The excitement of starting it. All you can say is "okay" no matter the question because it's him. You need to go slow. Step by step. But you want to go with him. That's all you know. With someone like that, hand in hand for the first time.

i love dorian and orym taking their relationship day by day but when robbie starts going into dorian’s long term life and goals he mentions dorian’s only source of commitment and faithfulness being to orym and how he “finds fulfillment in the most important connection of his life” and also with his friends like dorian storm, certified lover boy who has never been in love and had never found a reason to sustain any sort of romantic connection, unknowingly found the love of his life on this adventure and got to be with him forever 😭

This dialogue means so much to me.

As someone who experienced a great loss and is still mostly closed off to the uncertainties of a relationship, Dorian's "day by day" felt like a flush of consciousness and acknowledgement.

And I loved (and cried at) how Orym was immediately understanding and caring.

He knows what it means to lose someone you love. How loss shapes and changes you from the inside out. How it takes time to find yourself again in the grey mists of grief.

And it's okay to live one day after the other. It's okay to get to know the new you with patience, one step at a time.

Until you find yourself walking again under the sun and the bright blue sky.
