Not to be sad or anything but Henry thought that killing the losers would surely make him obtain IT's love and care because the only time he was loved was when he killed a dog for his father.

Not the Mama...or the Father
This takes place in a universe where Jango Fett survived Geonosis AND where Palpatine is defeated without Order 66 coming into being (the chips still existed, yes that is important).
After the war ends there is an absolute legal quagmire regarding the clones. Their origins (Possibly commissioned by the Jedi, a Republic Entity, outside of Republic Space, on Kamino, using the DNA of a Non Republic Citizen for a Republic Army, paid for by means that no one has been able to identify-presumably illegal and/or embezzled) mean that acknowledging their sentience also means that everyone involved broke so many laws that prosecution would take a decades. This compounded by the fact that it is an all or nothing kind of situation, on paper the Jedi who did their best were tied to those crimes just as thoroughly as senators who abused the Guard.  While the Jedi, as a whole, would be willing to face that prosecution if it meant the clones would be considered sentient, they had rather less power than the Senators who did not want to face their crimes.  In the end the only way to get the support for the Clone Rights bill was to add a clause that the bill would not be considered retroactive. The clones would be considered sentient after the bill was turned into law but could not seek any kind of reparations, back pay, or even acknowledgement that their rights had been violated prior to the law.
NOTE: It horrified everyone (though it should be acknowledged that the Jedi and the Clones were horrified for very different reasons than many of the Senate) when the Coruscant Guard successfully sued a number of Republic Senators, their aides, and several citizens for ‘sexual abuse of a non sentient’(It was a very odd lawsuit where Thire, who had taken to law with a frightening passion, was able to argue that the Clones could bring the suit as their own owners, since being sentient with a start start date essentially meant that they now owned themselves and the laws around abuse of non sentients are written so that new owners can sue past owners for abuse-written so that animal abuse could be fully prosecuted even years after the fact).  Criminal charges were even filed, though it was harder to get those charges through the system.
Jango Fett, due both to the Clones legal tangle and how it had to be resolved, could not be brought up on charges for his part in the creation of the clones, their training, and the chips. None of it was technically illegal.  The fact that all of the clones looked like him meant anyone who did not know better tended to consider the clones his children. At first Jango was just as quick to correct people, somewhat violently.
However as more and more clones began to distinguish themselves he started to play into it. Saying how proud he was of his children and that his genetics must have been superior (incidentally giving Boba more than one complex in the process). Most of the clones have no idea what to do with this behavior, since acknowledgement by Prime was something that almost all of them wanted as children. Also he wasn’t really acknowledging any clone in particular.  He was simply soaking up the accolades of being associated with so many driven, accomplished people.
Though the Commander batches tended to be the most well known, every batch of clones had at least one or two members that distinguished themselves in a positive manner.
Then comes the very public wedding of Commander Bly and Aayla Secura. While the two are very much in love it is also a political/PR move. The scandal of the Amidala/Skywalker marriage left the galaxy with a very skewed view of the Jedi and marriage.  The fact that Skywalker would go on to tell anyone who would listen that he was kicked out for falling in love made the issue worse.  (Commander Cody and Obi Wan were also considered for this PR move, however they were not quite at the point where they wanted to get married, also Anakin’s…reactions to the scandal of his marriage left some scars for Obi Wan. It would be quite some time before being perceived by a large crowd of beings-with the exclusion of the Jedi or the clones- would be something Obi Wan could tolerate)
Though the Jedi wedding traditions are typically a private affair, with permission of the happy couple every tradition would be made into a public spectacle with explanations for the traditions. One such tradition is that a parental figure (generally the Master if it is a Jedi) for each member of those getting married would escort their children down the aisle, as it were. This was a way for the parental figure to signal their support, or at least acceptance, of the marriage. Within this tradition it was very noticeable when a particular parental figure did not show up…or was not invited.
The public nature of the ceremony meant that Jango knew when and where to show up. He did not think much that he was not specifically invited, having bought into his own propaganda of being the father of the Clones. He arrives at the staging area, Boba in tow, to loudly announce that he was there to walk Bly down the aisle.  Very publicly.
All preparation stopped for a moment, a silence descending that almost echoed. Then Bly scoffed loud enough to be captured by the recording equipment (Every moment of each tradition was being recorded by no less than three recording crews at all times, currently there are six recording the lead up to the ceremony).
Derision dripped from every syllable coming from Bly’s mouth, “Why should I care about your approval of my life partner” (harkening back to the meaning behind the tradition).
Jango spluttered about being Bly’s parent.
Bly tilted his head, eyes distant as if looking into the past, “What was it you said, when you heard Ponds ask Alpha-17 for a name?”
Jango looked perplexed, clearly not remembering the interaction.
Wolffe stepped from crowd, “you said, ‘livestock doesn’t need a name’”
Cody took his place at Bly’s side ‘You are no parent to us, you lost that title when you sold us.’
Bly nodded along, “Cody is walking me down the aisle (In the background Alpha grumbles that it is only because Cody is tricky little shit. All the clones in the room smother a grin as Cody shoots Alpha a smug smile-NOTE: There was a duel/tournament between fifteen Alpha and CC clones that were considered ‘older’ than Bly on who got the honor of escorting him down the aisle, since the explanation of what constituted a parent left them with the firm belief that any clone that is older than you could be considered such) and you, Prime, are not welcome. Go back to the son you claimed.”
The galaxy at large absolutely ate up the ‘You are not my father’ drama, which frankly served to humanize the clones, and their assorted Jedi, better than anything else.

"Ford should be blamed for being manipulated by bill because he was desperate for validation" hmmmmmm
Okay, perhaps I should expand upon this point a bit.
First to be clear, this post wasn’t meant to be hate to either Ford or Stan, it’s more just me saying what I think are fair criticisms of them vs what I think are unfair criticisms. When I say “blamed” I don’t mean they should be condemned, just that they did something wrong and there is a degree of accountability there.
Ford’s whole experience with Bill is a tricky one, because Ford undeniably WAS a victim here. Especially with what we learn in the Book of Bill, which really highlighted the abusive nature of their relationship. And yes, Bill’s manipulations targeted Ford’s insecurities stemming from a lifetime of bullying and his father’s harshness. Those are all reasons why we should 100% empathize with Ford, and understand that he is not just some horrible selfish person, the way Ford haters make him out to be.
BUT, I don’t think that erases all accountability. If Ford were the only person hurt by Bill, then sure totally, don’t blame the victim. However, that’s not the case. Ford’s actions nearly destroyed the entire universe, and definitely ruined at least one life (Fiddleford) not to mention the trauma suffered by all the residents of Gravity Falls. And yes, obviously BILL is ultimately the one to blame for all that, but Ford’s initial cooperation was essential. And the reason he was so ready to believe Bill was because of his own ego— stemming from his insecurity of course, but ego nevertheless.
Bill straight up tells us that this is what made Ford the perfect target: “the ego of a king and the insecurity of a circus freak”. Two sides of the same coin, and if you ignore either then you are ignoring important parts of Ford’s character arc. Ford was bullied and ostracized his whole childhood for being different, and it caused him to develop a superiority complex. He needs to believe that he is special, destined for greatness. Which ultimately causes him to look down on others and make reckless, selfish choices in pursuit of that greatness. Ford’s a scientist, trained to be objective and follow evidence-based logic— yet he immediately trusted this unknown entity with no real evidence towards his intentions, because Bill flattered his ego and told Ford what he wanted to hear. If Ford weren’t so self-important, Bill’s manipulations would never have worked. We can empathize with Ford’s backstory, but also recognize that it has caused him to develop some negative traits, which led him to make mistakes that had dire consequences. And again, those consequences are really key here. Ford’s mistakes didn’t just put himself at risk, they put a LOT of innocent people at risk… like, the whole world.
None of this is just me either— this was pretty explicitly Ford’s character arc in the show and books. Ford himself admits as much: “don’t blame yourself [Stan], I’m the one who made a deal with Bill in the first place. I fell for all his easy flattery, you would have seen him for the scam artist he is”. Ford’s whole arc is about learning to let go of his ego and inflated self-importance, and recognize the value of others (namely, Stan). He always cared about others deeply, but he needed to let go of his self importance in order to truly appreciate and connect with them. He grows and learns and seeks to atone for his mistakes, which is exactly what makes him such a good character, and IMO such a likeable one.
Sorry this was so long. Make no mistake, I love Ford to pieces. He might be my favorite character tbh (either he or Dipper… Dip’s historically been my favorite, but I’ve developed a huge appreciation for Ford since rewatching the show recently). And I honestly really appreciate people like you that stick up for him, because he gets wayyy too much unfair hate in the fandom. I just think there is a lot of nuance in this topic, and it’s a tricky balance between trying not to victim blame while also not completely absolving Ford of accountability for the huge danger that he put others in, unintentional though it may have been.
Anyway though, peace and love, and keep defending our boy Stanford because this fandom is mean to him and he needs it!❤️🫡

Theory regarding the "System"
So I want all of you to listen really carefully.
I posted about my theory of Shen Jiu and Shen Yuan being the same person just from different timelines on Tumblr. One of the user @6gmrnv3hin reblogged my post with their theory that the System is actually Bing-ge.
Okay, now hold on and let me clarify it.
It's a theory relating to time paradox and the multiverse of the SVSSS and PIDW universes.
Their theory is that after Bing-ge left the SVSSS universe, he went onto search for his own kind Shizun. He found the soul of Shen Jiu in Shen Yuan in a different timeline. So Bing-ge split his soul into 2 parts. One part become the superior entity "System" and the other part became our beloved Bing-mei creating the new timeline of SVSSS.
Now here comes the missing puzzle piece which I was finally able to piece out from all these.
Some people theorise that Airplane actually got visions of the PIDW world and hence wrote the story.
This could be the part of the paradox where Airplane wrote the story because the PIDW universe actually existed and the PIDW universe existed because Airplane wrote about it.
It could be the "System"(Bing-ge) orchestrated everything to give himself a happy ending. He planned the transmigration of Shen Jiu's soul in the form of Shen Yuan that has not yet been corrupted by trauma in the modern universe into the SVSSS universe.
As another of the user @optimisticmosquito said that the "System" did not let Shen Yuan transmigrate into the novel as a child because there was a high chance he would have got tainted by all the trauma and turn out to be like Shen Jiu. Hence, he transmigrated into the body of adult, well-acomplished Shen Qingqui. As the spoilt second generation rich kid, Shen Yuan never had to go through the struggles that Shen Jiu of the original timeline went through. This lead Shen Yuan to be much kinder and a much better teacher. Shen Yuan is everything Shen Jiu could never have been due to all the trauma shackling him.
The "System" (Bing-ge) compelled Shen Yuan to fix the mistakes of the PIDW universe and prevent the current SVSSS universe from getting destroyed by the hands of Binghe (Yes, I consider the PIDW universe to be a destroyed universe because of all the mess). This way both Shen Jiu and Bing-ge ended up atoning for the sins they committed in the original timeline.
This would clarify some of the doubts regarding why Bing-ge never returned to disturb the life of Bingqui when he had not 1 but 2 reality cutting swords. Sir was busy creating a completely different timeline.
This would further clarify why the "System" was hell bent on Bingmei finding Xin Mo because Bingge in future would require 2 reality cutting swords to create a new timeline.
It would also clarify the reason why the "System" was so pushy with the "small scenario pushers" and was so closely influenced by Binghe's moods. It did not even interfere when Xin Mo was broken and taken by Bing-ge.
This is because Binghe no longer required Xin Mo. In the SVSSS universe he finally has all the happiness he ever wanted. He no longer felt the need to conquer the 3 realms just to feel a tiny bit of satisfaction with his life. He no longer needed series of blood baths and hundreds of wives to feel validated. He discovered the truth about his birth parents and his father is still alive. The Can Qiong Sect is still intact and the human and demon realms haven't been merged. Even Mobei Jun is no longer alone and miserable in the SVSSS universe.
Bing-ge finally was successful in attaining his happiness in the form of Bing-mei and the "System".
The paradox is that the SVSSS universe existed because Bingge by mistake stumbled upon the SVSSS universe where he found about his kind Shizun and the kind Shizun exists in the SVSSS universe because Bing-ge of the future split himself into 2 and went onto create the SVSSS universe as the "System".
I hope I was able to clarify my thoughts and theories.

I feel like talking about Kira Nerys.
Tumblr media
She is definitely one of the all time greatest Star Trek characters, and an absolute triumph of character development and payoff. She was a terrorist, she is absolutely open and unapologetic over that fact. Her planet was under a brutal, genocidal imperialist occupation and she did whatever was necessary to frustrate the Cardassians and eventually expel them from Bajor. She starts the series with that initial, momentary victory- the Cardassians have retreated, the resistance- now Bajorian militia have captured Terok Nor, but she barely gets to enjoy it for the day before Bajor's new provisional government decides to invite Starfleet to run the space station, wanting to set up their slow, eventual ascension to the Federation. And she's PISSED. Her literal first scene is arguing with her superiors before reluctantly handing over the commander's office to newly arrived Benjamin Sisko, and while that resentment slowly fades as Sisko shows overwhelmingly that he wants to be the best advocate possible for Bajor, it remains even as he is revealed to be the Emissary, Bajor's literal messiah. Kira never ceases in her struggle to see Bajor truly independent and thriving, even when it comes into conflict with her own conflicted moral code, something she had to adopt while fighting the Cardassians, but is ill equipped to handle the nuances they now have to face. This even eventually leads her to rebel, if briefly, against her own government, because she eventually decides her allegiance is to the Bajorans she fought to liberate, not Bajor the planet, or political entity.
And then there's Kira's complicated, evolving relation to the former Cardassian occupiers. It's easy to understand why she would paint them all with the same brush, they were genocidal, unforgiving, claiming to do what they did in some deluded idea that they were "helping" Bajor. But very quickly events transpire that shake her previously black and white beliefs about them.
What can I even say about "Duet" that hasn't already been said? Being confronted with a Cardassian who was so traumatized by what he witnessed his own people doing to the Bajorans that he pretended to be the very Gul who ordered the killings just so he could beg the Bajorans to put him on trial and execute him! It's such a shocking reveal that it turns Kira from eagerly wanting to put him to the death, to weeping over his murder by the very kind of revenge obsessed Bajoran she started out as.
Tumblr media
I still cry over Marritza's confession. And the worst thing was, he was absolutely right. He knew that if Cardassia didn't own up to the crimes they had committed that they would eventually be destroyed, and he was proven right as Gul Dukat's irredentist views led him to ally with the Dominion, which ended up nearly destroying Cardassia in the long run. She even finds it in her heart to welcome Ghemor as a surrogate father figure after the time spent thinking she might actually be his daughter, and fully accept that he was trying to atone both for his own actions and that of Cardassia's, eventually burying him on Bajor next to her own father. She also ends up being confronted with the consequences of her zealotry by Silarin Prin, just a humble, innocent servant who was horribly disfigured by a bombing of a prominent Gul that Kira was involved in. And yet, she's able to recognize that while what she did was not an absolute good, fully justified by what the Bajorans were subjected to, she doesn't denounce her old self and her activities. She doesn't forgive, or forget, and that goes for both her actions, and the Cardassians. That's why she was the perfect person to help the Cardassian resistance against the Dominion, because like Marritza said, to save Cardassia, they have to change, and admit that what they did was wrong. Even Garak, who is really never shown to be that remorseful over his past activities acknowledges this when Kira points out to Damar that his family being executed by the Dominion was no different from Cardassia executing the families of Bajoran freedom fighters. "Yeah, Damar, what kind of people give those orders?" Her character came full circle, and that's why it was perfect to end the series with her finally, fully taking over command of DS9.
Tumblr media
She'll always be one of the greatest of all time.

Percy telling Annabeth she has done more for him in the last few days than his father has his whole life and Kaz telling Inej "no saints have ever watched over me, not like you have".
There's just something about boys comparing their beautiful girlfriends (who they're not together with yet) to supernatural/"superior" entities and concluding the latter are nothing compared to them.

"The Light and Darkness Reversed"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Looking at their In-game moves from Naruto Ninja Storm and League of Legends, they're basically analogies of one another: Their Kit is similar, and their ultimate is literally the same. Both destroy things out of seeking "Justice", though Kayle is BLINDED by the "Just and glorious light", following in the shadow, much like Indra to Kaguya, of her mother, Mihira, who is the true aspect, if not, the holy light itself. This analogy works well with Indra as well, not only unknowingly walking under his grandmother's shadow, but also his father's. He, before fully coming to be evil, is the man who had been strict and a relentless teacher canon-wise, he was a "Just", or "By the book" type of character, or in other words, the perfect soldier/heir for his father, only to be betrayed by the very own ideals he stood for and this might just also be the case for Kayle.
This will turn into a giant post, but bear with me.
That reminds me,
We can't forget
Ashura and Morgana The Fallen:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
While Morgana's Ideals of rebellion take a similar path to Indra's, binding her wings out of spite for her kin, the ascended (People who gain powers through a holy  variety of magic, chiefly celestial magic, granting them the ability to become something more than human, channeling that power through their connection to the celestial entities), sore the ground, to feel what humanity really was about, to find out why her sister spited them and called them "Deceivers and the unjust".
she's not driven by vengeance against her own kin, nor is fully spiteful towards them, especially her just-blinded sister, but driven with the hopes of making her sister and the ascended see the beauty of mortality, of making mistakes, of love and pain, of fear, so Kayle could see what she saw in these humans.
This was also a way to stop her sister from bringing forth the "Judgement day" (basically something out of a bible story. What else do you expect from good and evil story?), meaning she would "vanquish the evil and filth from this world." even if it meant burning the planet alive from the inside out granted by the flames of her mother.
Guess who else holds the ideology for love of humanity?
Ashura.
Aside from the still-confused Hagoromo, Ashura outside of all of the Otsutsuki was an empath. From a young age, he seemed talentless, despite being the son of Hagoromo, the sage of six paths, so he spent a lot of that time playing with children his age, helping out and loved his brother very much, but slowly, their relationship grew colder
Indra, much like Kayle was afraid of making mistakes, being the perfect son, following the path of ninshu, which we could arguably call the path of "ascension from something beyond human", teaching humans how to unlock their superhuman talents, but much like every mentor, he was biased towards strength, especially as black zetsu slowly poisoned his mind.
While Kayle was afraid of feeling pain, Indra honed it to his advantage, and with that he unshackled himself and became something, not human, but back when Ashura was away and he taught ninshu, he shared same sentiment as Kayle did.
"I must feel nothing to fight injustice" - "To find grace, I cannot rest, I will not" - "I have given up everything for the light" - "The law does not tolerate imperfection. I am no exception." "If I slip, I will fall, so I must fly." - Kayle.
And Indra before finding out he was, in fact- was not the inheritor of ninshu, basically shared the same ideals. He was afraid of being imperfect, he was afraid to make mistakes at that point, he was doing everything by the book, knowing he was superior to his brother, he gave up his childhood because he was given a promise of a rightful inheritance, he knew this, he was born for this.
But he got screwed over and completely fell into the abyss of darkness and rebelled and from what I can tell, Kayle's story is going there as well: To sacrifice your whole life for a cause, only to find out you were fighting on the wrong side/get absorbed by your mother (Probably, this is just my theory.)
And then, when she would know pain, she would probably take a similar path as Indra did: Vengeance and hatred.
(Mihira: mother of Kayle and Morgana)
Tumblr media
Then we, once again have Morgana and Ashura: The empaths who took the side of humanity, who in a way rebelled against their own system and decided to explore what being human was like; hence, Ashura's Journey.
As we know, Ashura came back home much later than Indra, and that was because he accomplished great feats. While Indra was looked onto as a god for his power, Ashura humbled himself, working with what he had honed from his ninshu training, and he worked HARD for it.
Eventually he, in a way, became a part of this community and even gained followers from his journey back, told his story to Hagoromo and hence got chosen, because not only Hagoromo saw a strange darkness in Indra,(I can't live that down, like, how could he not suspect. He has THREE EYES for fuck's sake, counting his marking as the third eye.) but because he saw HIMSELF in Ashura. He remembered his journey, his bonds and his connections with people. He saw all that was good in him (Basically the Cain and Able analogy).
And guess who does the same thing? Morgana
While she conflicted between her celestial and mortal natures, Morgana bound her wings to embrace humanity and inflicted her pain and bitterness upon the dishonest and the corrupt. She rejects laws and traditions she believes are unjust and fights for truth from...
While this may sound like Indra, i'd say it is more of an Ashura analogy.
Ashura, in his own way, rejected the traditional ways of ninshu and teachings of ninshu from a young age, because he was simply bad at it and got mocked for it, even in this journey, their father sent him to do... Whatever and come back and tell him the story so he could choose a successor.
Unlike Indra, Ashura, much like Morgana bound her wings, learned more about humanity, and bound himself and his overpowering ass. He instead felt the pain and suffering of humans, he felt their sorrow and cries for help, and he empathized with them. While being an extrovert, we cannot forget that Ashura was still - partially alien, and much like Kaguya, we don't know how Otsutsuki's emotions work. We only know that Kaguya hypothetically managed to humanize her emotions, actually felt them, maybe she mimicked, maybe Otsutsuki, when coming close to emotions, simply get overwhelmed by them (Stone-faced: Ishiki, Momoshiki, Urashiki, who, if you take a closer look, simply did not function like human beings, have similar emotions. It was either a stone face or a sadistic look, which points to Otsutsuki simply being born as dickheads, but you may prove me wrong since I hadn't read or watched the full Boruto series, only snippets).
And while being on earth for decades, I believe those genes got mixed and mutated, hence Ashura and Indra developing more but the inner conflict, something aching deep within would likely stay.
Because they're both basically demigods and they're alien demigods, I'm pretty sure both had some struggles and questions about their humanity and otherwise, and Ashura is a perfect example of overcoming that "darkness within". While Morgana uses darkness to inflict suffering on those who do evil, power does not matter, what matters is that these two have similar views about humanity, love, and family.
Ashura loved his brother dearly, and even at the end of the fight, he tried to check on him.
Morgana loves her sister despite all, and just like Ashura, she wants to make her sister see the truth, blinded by light, only Indra's vision was blinded by darkness.
When i watch Naruto, i come across some very interesting characters and analogies like these and I think out of all of them, this one is the most beautiful and poetic one out of all.
Siblings, ripped from one another by fate, forever to battle one another.
Darkness vs Light
only in League, the Light is the true evil.
But both of these come to the yin and yang theory: One cannot exist without the other, darkness needs light, and from mythologies, the Sun needs the Moon.
In Naruto, true evil is taken as a concept, not an actual literal thing, and I think Kishimoto tried hard to point that out with the end game and executed it beautifully: Evil does not exist, black and white make grey, it is all about the balance, hence Naruto and Sasuke:
The Moon and the Sun come together to defeat a great threat to protect their world, the cycle of hatred between Indra and Ashura ends with them, and both accept their roles in the world. Naruto being the light, and Sasuke being the Light's shadow.
And pretty much, if Riot doesn't come up with some weird shit, or drops the whole concept altogether, I believe that the path the story of Kayle's and Morgana's story will take is the same as Ashura's and Indra's/Sasuke's and Naruto's, which, out of many other Anime/Stories, is one of the most perfectly executed story, if we look at Naruto series like the "Good and Evil, Cain and Able, Lucifer and God" analogy path it had taken towards the end of Shippuden.
"Through light, we find darkness, and through that darkness, we find the light once more"
That's all i have to say about this.

The father: I will not let this game go any further! You will not mate with that thing! End such a relationship or I will!
Eldritch!Reader: I'm not dating just him anymore!
The father: What do you mean just.
Eldritch!Reader, holding Tarhos and his guards in their arms: I'M DATING ALL OF THEM NOW!
The father: DO NOT RETURN TILL YOU'VE DISPOSED OF THAT FILTH!
Reader just wants to be at peace with their 4 boyfriends smh
I'm just picturing Eldritch!Reader sitting in the barn in the shattered square in your larger form and laying down with The Knight and his friends all napping on top of you all nice and peaceful. They look at peace, armor and clothes discarded everywhere as they just want to feel their bare skin on yours.
Father showing up to see the scene before him. The Entity had warned him what you were up to but to see such a naked display of affection. He could tear them limb from limb if he didn't desire to find out your strength. You just look at him with the biggest shit eating grin as you tug your precious followers closer. "Hello father, are you angry that I am fed? Or are you angry that I reward those who feed me?" You hum careful not to talk so loud as to wake them.
"I do not care that you reward your food, I can HOW you reward it. Your body should not be sullied and used. It should use and destroy and yet..." Father looks away sighing heavily, not in frustration, but in guilt. "Do not let your affection consume you. Gods like ourselves stay away from mortal love not because of rightful superiorness, but because of what it can do to mortals." He turns away bowing his head as he steps away.
His breathing steady as he turns back to face you once more, "Do not repeat the mistakes I have made my dear. His rage and cravings may excite you, but that desire to have and to hold him may very well destroy him." His footsteps retreating as he walks away. You are left in the barn the steady snores of The Knight, The Carnifex, The Assassin, and The Jailer. All four of them peaceful in their slumber as you are left to ponder your father's words.

My English class TED Talk script
TED Talk Title: Why We Shouldn’t Become Soup
Neon Genesis Evangelion is an anime that covers the relationships between several people with volatile personalities in a post apocalyptic world, uniquely fighting otherworldly beings while returning to the womb and experiencing intense pain, and suffering through their view of themselves and their idea of others’ perspectives.
The buildup of the series comes to a climax during the movie, leaving some philosophical questions to ponder over. For example, the Human Instrumentality Project and a look at whether individuality is a gift or a curse by showing the alternative: eternal togetherness or unity. Once this project is put into motion, all of humanity is subject to be a sea of ‘LCL’; soul fluid that melds into one eternal ocean of consciousness. The reason for this is the universal fear of loneliness, which was touched on earlier in the show with a discussion about the hedgehog's dilemma: the fear of hurting other people the closer you get to them, similar to a hedgehog trying to find warmth amongst others in its species during the winter.
Shinji shows this fear by continually running away from his caregiver, Misato, and his responsibilities as a pilot because he doesn’t want to get closer to the other pilot, Rei Ayanami, who he has started to care for. This is similar to his father, Gendo Ikari, and his fear of being a poor father. Instead of getting closer to his son after his wife’s death, he leaves his son behind which damages him more than his father’s presence would have.
Misato, the most recurring adult main character in the show, is afraid of getting close to Ryuuji Kaji because she is confident that she cannot open herself to him. Her personality is so cheerful on the outside, when in reality she has been stuck as a little girl who was sent away by her father who died in a nuclear explosion. She is afraid that Kaji will be like her father and leave her to fend for herself, and that she will be unable to reciprocate his feelings in the way that it matters. Ultimately, he dies and leaves Misato alone. Her fears are confirmed, but she is able to brave them through the closeness of Shinji as her pseudo-son in her final moments.
Asuka has a fear of others as well, taking it out more violently than Shinji by forming relationships where she thrives off of her superiority complex (which is really an inferiority complex) and can be considered the best. As she was a child prodigy who graduated college at age 14, she has all of the knowledge of an adult but little of the maturity that is expected of her, making her the extreme example of being a teenager: having all of the burden with none of the respect of experience that others want you to have already. She gets close enough to Shinji to be in sync as a fellow pilot, but never talks about her true drive to be considered good enough: her mother committing suicide while holding a doll of her, symbolizing that she wasn’t enough for her mother to stay alive for and would be more beneficial if she had been exactly as her mother wanted.
The will of God was sent to turn everyone into LCL to rid all people of the inescapable loneliness that they feel because they cannot understand each other. Like the angels before humanity, that are single entities of a species and nothing more, becoming one in the ocean of consciousness would eliminate loneliness and the social suffering that so many people in the post apocalyptic world fear. To retake the importance of being the central descendants of god, humanity feels they must ascend individuality. But in doing so, there is an infinite amount of unwavering suffering and no amount of time to alleviate the pain of one's sense of self when there are no other selves. Similar to how we can fight with our family members, but if we were to be only one self, we would be alone. You can’t be a family if you are just one person. In an effort to curb the societal loneliness felt by an entire population, the will of the few has caused an incurable loneliness that rids all of humanity of the chance to love another and try to understand by turning everyone into one thing. In summary, it is better to suffer for the sake of possible happiness and hope that you will understand people and make friends, than it is to give up and wallow in your own solitude.
The movie ends with Shinji understanding the sacrifice to live as an individual, which is the loneliness of consciousness. He lets the rest of the sea of consciousness decide whether they live for opportunity rather than be essentially comatose in an emotional stasis. The message of the series is that it's better to be lonely and try to be happy than it is to give up and be nothing at all. Even if everyone is unified in that nothingness.

wait i literally have a primer on god in my doc. heeere
What's the Deal With God?
God in this world is a giant mass of flesh growing like a mold on the surface of the earth. It arrived 800 odd years ago, coinciding with the extinction of the Dragons (though these events aren’t directly related) and the arrival of the Angels. It melds flesh and ideas together, creating a good portion of the nonhuman entities that inhabit the world, and can rend and destroy the flesh of humans that come into contact with it, though it doesn't always. Slowly, it is growing over the entire landmass and no one really knows what to do about it.
God is simply the name the Angels gave the force when they landed and the name stuck.
God, the Thing
God, the Thing, is the name for the growing mass of flesh and rot upon the earth(1). It holds no will of its own, it simply is. It’s tended to by the Angels and a few zealot knights who worship it as the bringer of the Angels(2). Its spread is directly responsible for numerous fights and wars over both land and resources. Beyond it slowly absorbing the entire world, it's mostly harmless and not very notable.
God, the Consciousness
The true influence behind God, the Thing. God, the Consciousness, is a living breathing force within the mass of flesh. Tales say its appearance is almost certainly a death sentence for any unfortunate enough to be near, the wretched spill left behind after such events confirms this. Many still will brave long treks to God, the Thing, for a hope at an encounter as some form of enlightenment or superiority, believing themselves to be stronger than those left as strips of flesh and blood.Luckily, it doesn't make many appearances. Within the 800 years of its arrival there have only been a handful of confirmed sightings of God, the Consciousness.(3)
(1)  The exact composition of God, the Thing, is extremely hard to study. Not only is this world's scientific tools a tad lackluster (that is- for everyone besides the Demons) the spread of the body has been known to consume those trying to study it. All that's required to know is it appears to be flesh. Best guess, human. (2)  Zealot Knights are a very small group of knights who believe God, the Thing, has the ability to change the form of people who worship it. They have their own section in the Organizations tab, but are notable here as their efforts to spread God, the Thing are far more effective than the Angel’s. (3)  One notable example being the original Father of the Paper House. After a chance meeting with God, the Consciousness, he was inspired to write the message of the being down in a book, leading to the formation of a religion around these concepts.

Theory : Madara was not the only reincarnation of Otsutsuki Indra. Indra's soul/chakra split in two.
while asura's soul remains full and reincarnated alone into hashirama.
the other half of indra's soul was in Senju Tobirama.
how it split can be played with, could be a blip, a flaw over time on zetsu's part or whatever.
the main conflict and question of the founders' era and in all of naruto was the difference between worldview of two brothers : doing everything alone, priotizing personal talent and genius (indra) or leaning to cooperation and companions (ashura) and their father Sage of 6 paths supported ashura, thus putting friendship and cooperation as the favorable view.
we know madara shares the same view with indra and hashirama ashura's, and indra and madara were treated as antagonistic for their extremist views.
so a couple of questions and observation ;
1/ashura was the 'dunce' one that has to seek help from others and that formed his view of putting love and friendship above all. and due to being superior and genius indra believe independence trumps all. so why was hashirama, the weak one, the friendship one, so abnormally monsterously strong that even without help from 'companions' , madara can never match up even if he got a bijuu and part of hashiramas power while hashirama was nerfed as an edo. not that equal in strength there, and not much for 'friendship' either because for his personality, hashirama always fights madara alone. theory ; madara is not FULL indra while hashirama is FULL ashura.
2/ why did the narrative gloss over another character who at the same time with these two, seems so much into the view of indra, just maybe in a healthier way - bc his duty as stated is to balance madara and hashirama. but balance and learn from them to what extent and effective is arguable. seems that he just focused on himself. he's like an entity on his own.
past databooks described him like this
Tumblr media
he's a respectable man who inspires and taught people. but isnt that last part a little extreme and reminding of indra himself and certain members of a certain clan that were indra's descendents.
his ideals about the world are entirely his own as well with seemingly no sounding board, no "friend' like hashirama had. in a time when his brother was thinking of compassion and cooperation and friendship to maintain order and to stop wars, and madara thinks about being honest with people., he was the only one who says "order will maintain order" and "pushed forward to that objective until the end" since childhood and for all his time governing the village , also seemingly alone in his views. sure most agreed with him while some agree with hashirama's views, and he HAD friends and comrades to share that, but it could just be the warring times, the history, the situation that agreed with him and not the friends, the people themselves. Hashirama himself only agreed with tobirama because he had to when tobirama was objectively right, and never once acted as tbrms support or sounding board, going as far as to mock and question him in front of others. Tobirama seems to be lonely and isolated, not for any social and relationship issue but because he's too genius and different - and especially cold-hearted - in views and intellect. He never felt self conscious or guilty even when nobody seems to like his decisions.
he was also the only hokage who has no co-hokage in his time as hokage, someone equal to share the work and the world with him. he functioned as his own shadow hokage. even the third who was not that explored has danzo. minato has his wife, tsunade has jiraiya and kakashi shikamaru . if the narrative calls out indra's independence and lonesomeness as opposed to ashura's bonds, i think tobirama's mindset could be brought into the equation too.
Important to note that indra holds his beliefs firmly even at the beginning before his father disregards him, sasuke had that natural attitude to be lonesome and vulnerable as well, while Madara was never that into doing everything alone until he was manipulated out of all friendship and cooperation.
3/ indra was superior genius, the founder of ninjutsu thanks to his godly eyes powers and that's his greatest 'good" legacy to the ninja world. tobirama, while lacking in pure power compared to his reincarnation of god brother and his friend, is a leader of countries who copied his systems, as well as inventor of a number of jutsus that everyone could use but with caution lest they could wage wars. the sage talked about indra's ninjutsu negatively : "ninjutsu is to wage wars'. he had a point because tobirama invented jutsus that :
fooled both sharingan and byakugan and trolled the mother of shinobi herself - kage bunshin
beats mangekyo sharingan - flying thunder god
creates infinitely regen corpses , even after the caster died, corpses that also remain unaffected by the strongest eye genjutsu weve seen aka tsukuyomi
s exactly as enormous and powerful as hashirama's most enormous sage jutsu
4/hashirama's efforts to connect with and balance both these brothers of his, which are only almost successful. he seems to stumble between them and has to choose between them, and neither choice is pretty for them and himself in the long terms. When he chose one he failed the other, and nearly failed both completely when he tried suicide. He tried to protect and understand both, but he never truely connected with madaras true vision and goal of family, and was shown as not as good and close to tobirama as a brother: he mocked and questioned tobirama in front of others who were maliciously mocking and questioning tobirama!! Plus threatening him with violence multiple times when words fail him. Regardless of who of the brothers you agree with, there was a clear disconnection and disagreement between them even in death, their vision, the way they do things. Its like ashura reincarnated ALONE into hashirama and thats why hashirama was monstrously strong on his own but also need companions. But both madara and tobirama are LONE warriors thats not as strong but just as formidable, and he needs to connect with BOTH to find true peace and brotherhood. especially when they are both very lonesome and yet devoted to him in different ways.
5/ his care and dare i say connection to sasuke, who i believe - for the sake of this theory - is a full Indra in temperament and skills (in relations to the FULL ashura like naruto] tobirama saw both madara's unhealthy potential and himself, a brother of someone great that everyone revered, who really deep inside, need guidance and companions, in sasuke and that's why he helped him with all he had towards the end of the 4th war.

aparently the Disliked ATLA Ship discourse at the moment is not merely arguments about Fire Lady Katara, but people who don't seem to understand her character as much as they think they do believe that the only option for Katara is to either hide from the Fire Nation (??? by what? going HOME?) or rule over it
and the first point is, yes she WOULD want to go home. Keeping her homeland safe and returning home without living in fear of her father never coming home again because of the war; these are things she pretty implicitly wants.
secondly, there seems to be a power trip involved in the idea of her as Fire Lady. Again, this has little connection to canon; as popular as the idea of Katara becoming Fire Lady and being co-ruler of the Fire Nation is, there is no basis in canon for the consort of a Fire Lord having any political power or even being particularly relevant to history. The vast majority of the wives of the Fire Lords aren't even known; they're functionally non-entities who can only be stated to exist because their children had to come from somewhere. They're certainly never given any real importance and there is no indication of them being involved in politics or having any power at all.
It seems the only one with power there is the Fire Lord; unless you're suggested Katara conquer and rule over the Fire Nation as a tyrant (you know, exactly like the people who devastated her homeland and almost wiped out her culture), she's certainly not going to get any political power.
This isn't even getting into the problem of her being a Water Tribeswoman. These particular fans really love to exist in an alternate reality composed entirely of their headcanons on how the Fire Nation operates, as shown by how much they make a lot of meta saying 'oh the Fire Nation isn't REALLY colonizing or rascist despite canonically having massive rallies yelling about how fire is the superior element to triumph over the savage barbarians in other lands or FIRE NATION COLONIES being referenced repeatedly'.
But again, even a small village of otherwise friendly people, upon discovering Katara is from the Water Tribe, IMMEDIATELY turned on her when they found out she wasn't Fire Nation, and their choice of words 'you're not so bad for a waterbender' sounds a LOT like them saying a relatively child-friendly way of saying 'you're a credit to your race'
at worst, Katara would be subject to repeated assassination attempts by Fire Nation nobles that resent someone they consider a barbarian in charge. At best it would still be a profoundly exhausting thing spending the rest of her life far from home, surrounded by racists that hate her, and laboring until her death to help a nation that tried to destroy her people, and almost did.
Power is, as Iroh says, overrated. The glamour of a life of luxury and wealth has no indication of being interesting to Katara (and she may even find the concept repulsive), and would undoubtedly just be miserable.

love is but a foreign entity to a man like him,   the failed son.  tony is an extension of his fathers' dreams,  & a thorn in his mother's side.   childhood memories painted fresh with scars that blister and bleed,   he understands what it means to be unloved.   the opulence of his youth hides away the loneliness,  raging parties and a boyhood unparalleled by the likes of gatsby hide the almost hemingway depression of a boy that breeds superiority to hide his own perceived inferiority.  musings play like a record on repeat as his fingers tinker with the latest creation in his arms,   the need to always be creating,  always moving.  the hours tick by,  the night becomes days,  the sun and moon his closest friends — the only semblance of reality the sound of her footsteps.
she's breathtakingly gorgeous,  the smell of perfume akin to an aphrodisiac, no — akin to air to a man with no oxygen.    she the light that illuminates the darkness.    ❝ this isn't going to get done before friday.   i don't know when i'll be able to come upstairs.  ❞
words unsaid.   i'm sorry.  i want to spend time with you.   a man who plays god is only god when he can create.  to lose inspiration is to become obsolete.  it is a heavy burden to hold on iron clad shoulders,  so why should he bring it to her?    the crown pepper has built is one of her own doing,  the greatest ceo.  the greatest partner.   he will not be the one to drag them down.  he does not look her in the eyes.    ❝ i'm holding you back,  aren't i?   don't wait up for me. ❞ | @repierce

Anastasia "Polaris Northstar" Blanche Leacroft the Sin of Gluttony
Anastasia Blanche-Leacroft preferring to go by her nickname Polaris, was raised single handedly by her hardworking mother Sonia Blanche, while her absentee father Herman Preston Leacroft; also known by his writer name "H.P Leacroft" abandoned the both of them before she was born and then passed away from illness before Anastasia would ever officially meet him, she would only really know her father through the books he wrote. It would be inaccurate to describe Herman Leacroft as a pokemon with issues, more like he was a shambling mound of issues in the approximate form of a Cat. He had various mental and social issues: chronically depressed, hypersensitive to criticism, prone to horrible nightmares and nervous breakdowns, along with many strong biases from growing up in the old noble house of Leacroft which had long been in a state of decline long before he was born and was already starting to fall apart, but still held onto their archaic belief in Blood Purity and Superior Breeding. Herman did what his family considered a major fopaux by marrying Sonia Blanche an author like him but was not born to a noble house, rather she was a self made business woman. She had given him a semblance of peace and sanity and the ability to start a new life, the two of them could have been happy together, but thanks to machinations of the Leacroft family Herman was separated from his wife and fell back into his old hateful biased mindset renouncing his love for Sonia and isolating himself in the family manor till he would eventually die of illness never knowing that he had a daughter.
Anastasia would eventually inherit the manuscripts of her father's horror stories; The tales of incomprehensible monsters and unknowable gods from beyond our own known reality, the nightmares that had horrified him and haunted his mind had become the dreams and passion of his estranged daughter. She was not only not scared of these creatures, but became enthusiastic about learning more about them. In many ways she is similar to Herman but also the opposite: They both lacked the ability to express themselves normally around other pokemon but where Herman had hatred and fear everything he didn't understand, Anastasia loves and accepts all things for their differences and uniqueness, especially things that other pokemon consider weird or creepy.
She got herself neck deep into learning all she could about the occult being a hyperfixation of hers trying to seek out beings like the ones in her father's books from beyond our reality in the spaces beyond space and imagination wanting to meet them and understand them despite being claimed to be incomprehensible. Unlike most Warlocks who have an exclusive contract with one powerful entity and then lose all their power should they break that contract, she is has become almost an eldritch entity herself capable of her own bizzare otherworldly powers, but is still limited by her physical body so she will act as a freelance warlock jumping between contracts between various Otherworldly patrons making deals with them in exchange for power and secret knowledge. Many of these deals can be considered dangerous but Polaris has become cunning when it comes to negotiating deals and she is more than willing to take risks because power and knowledge has become something of an obsessive addiction to her, earning her the title of the Sin of Gluttony.
She is also capable of eating vast amounts of food even though she no longer requires food to function as one of her eldritch abilities. She can consume almost anything: Matter, Energy, Light, etc...but it serves a different purpose than just giving her the energy to sustain herself, she can also transport the contents she devours to patrons who need it for sustenance as part of their deal. She has worked for many of the Ultrabeasts feeling Light to Necrozma, various nonspecific matter to Guzzlord, Electricity to Xurkitree, Vital Energy to Buzzswole, and Mental Energy to the swarm of Nihilego. The downside to this deal is that ironically Polaris no longer possesses the capability to taste anything so she can't enjoy food anymore.
Polaris joined the Seven Deadly Sins because she thinks the other members of the team are fascinating and leads her to interesting places. Her main weapon is a two bladed rapier called Brainbiter which appears to be made out of clear glass, but is somehow flexible. This blade can stretch and bend like a tentacle under the control of the wielder maneuvering around weapons and armor to pierce or cut the enemy. A single cut from this blade is enough for it to inject a Neurotoxin that within mere moments of being introduced to one’s body is able to give them vivid hallucinations. She also has a power called Uncertainty, allowing her to be where she isn't when not being observed, so the moment you take your eyes off her she could just be somewhere else entirely but only places where she has at least seen before making her very good at escaping places.

Mori Vanitas (twst oc intro)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“My, poor unfortunate one! Would you like a helping hand? Or maybe a free ear? I'll be right there for you~”
A charming boy, always ready to help those in need. He's an expert when it comes to people and latest gossip.
>basic info<
Name: Mori Vanitas
Age: 19(4?)
Sex: Cis male
Species: human
Birthday: 29 February (pisces)
Homeland: Pyroxene
>school info<
Dorm: Pomefiore
Grade: 3rd year
Class: C
Club: None
Best subject: Animal linguistics
Worst subject: PE
Mori's grades are decent, he's among the top in his dorm with straight A's in everything except PE and potionology, which irritates him since he should be well-versed in potions as Pomefiore student, but he balances with a weak B in those two subjects. He should have been a 4th year by now, but due to a mysterious accident that left him in a coma in the beginning of his 3rd year, he had to continue as 3rd year.
>appearance<
Height: 175 cm
Weight: 57 kg
Body type: Ectomorph
Hair colour: Foggy gray (that's literally the green's name tf)
Eye colour: Languid lavender
Mori is a pale-skinned young man of average height. He is horribly underweight, which results in his limbs being thin and his bones clearly visible and palpable, especially his ribcage and pelvis. He has pale, grayish, see-through skin, with his veins and blood vessels looking almost as if they're right on the outside. This also makes his lips and nails have slightly purple colour. He gets bruises from the smallest of impacts that cause the bruises to bloom under his skin for a long time.
Mori has a thin face, almond-shapped slightly hooded eyes and thin small nose. He usually keeps his eyes closed, but when he doesn't, you can see beautiful languid lavender coloured eyes.
He has slick fluffy shoulder-length hair of foggy gray colour that he usually keeps in either one-sided braid or a low ponytail. Sometimes he wears it loose with a small braid on his left side.
Mori can always be seen gently smiling and twirling his hair.
>personality<
Temperament: Choleric
MBTI: INFJ (dunno, it suits him i guess??)
Alignment: Chaotic evil
Mori is a charmer. He's always gently smiling, talking softly and kindly to everyone around him. Others see him as one of the nicest people you can possibly meet in NRC as he's always willing to help and solve any trouble that his underclass men may meet without asking for anything in return. He is cheery and rather positive, constantly searching for the best outcomes of any situation he gets in, working hard to get whatever he needs to get. Other students either have positive opinion about him or no opinion at all and often think that he should have been sorted to RSA instead.
That's his persona, though. The real Mori is a complete opposite of what he pretends to be. The real Mori is a malicious and sadistic person. He is constantly listening to conversations around to use other students' words against themselves. He searches for ways to make things worse for people around him and pulling strings in the background, just to see them struggle and suffer. He enjoys indirectly tormenting others more than anything else. When it comes to his attitude, the real Mori is cold and calculating, hypocritical, rather pessimistic and conceited, believing only in his own superiority and authority.
However, Mori is also incredibly religious, as his father hammered faith in his son's skull from the birth. Mori prays scrupulously every single day for saving his own soul. He believes that he's possessed by some evil entity as there's no other way, why would he be so sadistic and evil. He's well aware of how horrible of a person he actually is and has tried redeeming himself many times only to find himself secretly making things way worse for others instead, so he's stuck with those hypocritical ways. No matter how much Mori prays, though, his situation never gets any better to the point he started to believe that whatever gods there are, they have long abandoned him. Even so, he still believes and prays. Over years and his manipulation skills, charisma and UM development he started to believe that he can be somewhat of a god himself.
He's rarely struck with guilt over his own actions, but he always feels somewhat bad when his “games” backfire to his best and only childhood friend Sig or his family members. He enjoys their suffering as well but suffers at the same time. He's afraid of his dear ones abandoning him due to his vile devilish nature more of than anything else.
>unique magic<
Mori's signature spell is called “For eternity”. It's a surprisingly low cost spell that allows him to leave his own body in a coma like state and wander around freely without any consequences for his body, it will just stay the way it was left when the spell was cast. This way, no matter for how long the body was left, Mori will not age and lose his physical and mental capabilities. He can also even go to the Underworld with his UM, but it will sharply increase the cost of the spell, so he can't stay for too long there. When using his UM Mori can vaguely see light sources, which he normally can't. He also can interact with the world around in a poltergeist like manner that is moving objects and flickering the lights.
>background<
Mori was the first child in the family that owns the most prominent mortuary in Pyroxene. As he was a very welcome child, his parents doted on him and gave him only the best they could possibly get. Until the age of seven, he lived in the capital with his parents, but they decided to move to a secluded area due to his mother's illness and stayed there. There, in a small village Myrthe, Mori went to school, but it wasn't a good experience at all: even though he wasn't bullied he wasn't welcome either as he always required special attention and extra care, meaning that other kids would have to stay in his shadow. There was one kid that wasn't averted by Mori's condition, though, and his name was Sig. Sig became Mori's first and only friend, always accompanying him on adventures in the wilderness or even in the comfort of Mori's own home where they both could do whatever they like as there was practically everything children their age would ever want. Sig was never afraid of Mori's strange behaviour and his interest in burials and death. The quiet kid that Mori was, would always make people avert him, so he decided to put up a persona of that of a charming and caring person in order to be more likeable. He truly thought that one day that lie would become the truth, but it never did. As Mori grew up, people started to like him more, but he never changed. Only Sig knew the truth, but never gave up on Mori, no matter what consequences his actions had.
Mori's family was and is still very supportive of their son, even his small siblings. They all love him with all their hearts, and so does Mori.
>trivia<
Nicknames: Anglerfish(Leech twins), Mole(his family)
Sexuality: Demisexual biromantic
Dominant hand: Both
Favourite food: Spicy pineapple pizza
Least favourite food: Oranges
Talent: Manipulation
Hobby: Embalming
Likes: Other people's suffering, guide dogs, Sig, cold quiet places
Dislikes: sweets, when someone tries to control him, loud and sudden noises, strong fragrances
Pet peeves: Blind jokes
His father and mother are actually from the Island of Lamentation. His dad is a priest and mum is an artist. He has three younger siblings, two twin sisters and one brother.
Mori's mother started calling him "mole" affectionately and later everyone in the family started calling him that. Now he can't take that nickname from anyone but them.
Mori was born cursed, and this curse takes the form of complete blindness that can't be treated by any means. He's also allergic to oranges and has haemophilia.
Mori was shocked to receive the invitation to NRC and Crowley was even more shocked to receive a blind student. The teachers' quickly adapted, though. Mori has special permission to record the lessons on a voice recorder, an actual voice recorder though, not his phone.
Mori has a guide dog back at home, her name is Megara. She is his second dog. The first one died a few years before he came to NRC and her corpse is taxidermated back at his room.
He carries around a cane and sometimes a whistle too.
Mori is so done with blind jokes that he will immediately go for the knees of anyone who dares to joke around him with his cane.
Is based on Charon in general, I've never seen Hercules so I don't know if there's actually Charon, so yeah, he's just created because I like the underworld in Greek mythology.

i need to go the fuck 2 sleep but i have to say. last post on the mandalorian guys i fucking promise ill go back to wrestling and kotor (superior bad star wars media) in a minute . anyway like. it wouldve been SO fucking interesting if the mandalorian focused on the jedi as an almost extinct religion (going back to how they were presented in the OT instead of the political entity/enforcers of state power that they became in the prequels and associated media) like it shouldve been about spirituality it shouldve been about a way of viewing the world that may or may not be obsolete in a post empire galaxy. it shouldve been about renewing those beliefs and reshaping them to fit a changed world. and it also should have been about how the mandalorians being posited as a sort of ideological opposite to the jedi order of the sequels (karens very special religious extremists who FUCK HARD love VIOLENCE and care about ATTACHMENTS) creates this false dichotomy in the world of star wars and in reality mandos and the jedi have more in common than they think and that isolated religious communities under the empire should help eachother instead of holding onto their ancestors' grudges. it shouldve been about a father trying to rase his adopted son in his culture while also trying to respect and teach him about the culture his son should have been born into that was ripped away from him (the way his was as a young child as well) but that he knows very little about and his people historically dont get along with. idk listen star wars sucks ass weve known this. play knights of the old republic for a more nuanced take on the jedi
