When I was growing up playing the Metroid Prime games in the 00s as they came out, the common consensus among most of the people I talked to was that Prime 2 was the weakest of the 3, some even going as far to say it was bad

But now, it seems like that's shifted?

At least in the places I've been in a lot more people are speaking positively of Prime 2, saying it holds up to 1 and 3 or even that it's the best of the three, which is what I've always argued The main complaint I remember was Prime 2's difficulty, so, maybe Dread changed that?

Cause I've been playing Metroids for over 20 years, since Super on the SNES, and Dread was a huge wake up call for me and I really needed to git gud, and I didn't enjoy it at first, but once I got it, I REALLY got it, and maybe that's starting to happen to people who played Prime 2?

Like, Prime 2 is unarguably the hardest game in the trilogy, but I've never felt like it was unfair with the possible exception of the Boost Guardian fight, simply because it's a relatively early boss fight with no safe zone and if you're unlucky the boss and destroy all 4 pillars right away leaving you deprived of energy during the fight

Other than that I'd say the challenge remains pretty consistent and pretty fair, if high at times And in return you get THE BEST BOSS FIGHTS in the whole series at least before Dread came out

It's so hard to find genuine, wholesome, and uplifting media that involves fatness and/or gaining weight which is why I've written a fair amount of it- but like, I wanna read more stories that aren't my own! So much of this content is made by what I can only describe as "fatphobic fat fetishists", people who find fat bodies attractive but think "fat people" are gross and disgusting, if that makes sense It's like how a lot of say, "transsexual porn" is made by and for people who think "girl with dick" is hot, but think "trans women" are gross and disgusting and they would NEVER be attracted to that You get it? Like I just wish it was easier to find uplifting content involving fat people and/or trans woman in general, I guess
