I can understand if some people don't like being called queer, but they shouldn't be mad about other people using the word to describe themselves. In case you don't like or understand it, think:

Some people aren't sure about their sexuality or gender, so they use the word queer. Some people are tired of having to explain their sexuality or gender to people who don't (or don't even want to) understand, so just saying queer might be easier. Some people just prefer to use that term, simply becuase they feel like their orientation is not other people's business. All valid. The term is very inclusive. I feel comfortable with referring to myself as queer, the same way I call myself aromantic asexual. I can't just call myself gay like the twitter user does, becuase, well, I'm not gay.

I always thought censoring horrible things like these somehow makes them sound less serious. Like... I don't know how to explain but I feel like it lessens the impact. It makes them sound goofy. And the topic of murder or rape, as an example, is definitely not something that should sound goofy

If you can't bring yourself to say these words without the need to use fucking "grape" and "pdf file" instead I don't think you should be talking about these topics in the first place.

Yes, i know some sites (not pointing fingers, we all know) will flag your posts, and that's a problem. It doesn't prevent harassment of any sort (e.g.: instead of threatening people by directly saying they'll rape or sexually assault them, people now say "I'm gonna touch you"), it just makes it incredibly difficult (dare i say impossible) to talk about heavy and serious topics without your post being taken down/being shadowbanned/your traffic being resctricted
