AnF is. How to say. UnGuildensterned. There was a point at the beginning where they could’ve said ‘no.’ They did miss it. They are looking for it before it happens next time. They do know better. Futaba and Taichi whip out their damn spyglasses and find the point and then they do say ‘no’ ! They break one cycle and we-the-reader intend to see them returned to the cycle like laundry. In chapter 52 we do. It all ends as it all should and everything is wrapped up as expected. Then. Bam. They escape!! And us with them! They step out the fourth wall. Hell, even the positioning of the camera shows that Taichi has literally escaped his role as main character. We’re no longer in his head. He’s not where he was. He’s gone. Home free.

Tma question, what does "this is what death feels like" refer to?

As far as I can remember, nothing in particular? Based on the (albeit limited) context I have for the statement, it's just a character referencing the Entity he serves. Typically an Avatar bringing up their fear is done in a way that disturbs or frightens those around them, however this doesn't seem to be the case this time. I'd personally say it's an innocuous comment, but if you're confused about it, it might be best to go to the blog directly and ask for clarification/context. Additionally, if you feel comfortable doing so, listening to a bit of the podcast or reading the wiki for it could definitely be useful!

I've been very invested in @life-winners-liveblog recently and all I have to say is that this is Sl! Jimmy's and Dl! Scott's dynamic

So I really enjoy @life-winners-liveblog’s little AU/ask blog of the life series winners so here is my doodles of their designs.

Some random notes

Martyn is missing an ear in the AU so to balance the design I used the seaweed headband to try to keep te design from looking lopsided when giving him the mean gills fish ears.

I gave Scott his elf ears since empires gets referenced often enough and empires is my favorite smp like ever.

The original description for this Au has Pearl with only crescent moons on her hood but I opted for a pattern of all the moon phases instead for more variety.

Scar’s outfit came out way more detailed than everyone else’s even though he’s not even my favorite. I suppose that I’m not immune to the hood times.

Grian is darker skinned than I’d typically draw him because I imagine he’s very tanned from the desert
