God, this took SO LONG. It's not the biggest comic I've ever done, or even the most complex (though it certainly wasn't easy), but getting all of the dialogue to fit was a challenge (I tend to write big and messy, as I'm sure most everyone was able to guess). If the dimensions of the panels seem odd, it's probably because of that.

Right Hand Man's standing over here like "is this really the guy that almost killed me?" Meanwhile, Reginald's more worried about the hat. As he should be; it's a very important hat! Ellie has the patience of a saint... or a mom friend.

How did Henry set the scooter on fire and only get a cut on his knee? It's Henry Stickmin; literally anything is possible. He's probably lost his scooter privileges for a while, though...

Charles isn't dead in this timeline, but I imagine Henry likens him to an angel in multiple ways (self-sacrificing, heroic, handsome... an angel!) He's is still displeased with Henry's choices in this timeline, of course, and Henry knows it. His one regret in life... (I've been reading too many Toppat Henry x Charles fics and comics lately... or maybe not enough?)

Anyway, come get some Toppat King ending food. Chapter one of The Beauty and His Right Hand Beast will be out this Monday... I just need to get started on it, heehee.

I'd like to introduce you to more of my AU, called...

DEAD AMARYLLIS!!

Amaryllis is, in the language of flowers, pride.

HERE'S THE RIGHT HAND MAN!!!

In this AU, Reginald Copperbottom is dead.

During the overthrow of Terence Suave, Terence, in front of the Right Hand Man, shot Reginald, killing him. Right Hand Man, in pain and despair, finds the strength to finish Terence off. Alas, Right Hand Man was unable to save his husband, who wanted to become the new leader of the Clan after Terence. But in the end, it was Right Hand Man who became the leader.

Right Hand Man did a good job of getting the Clan off its knees after Terence's tyranny. Even though Right Hand Man was too strict and sometimes made serious mistakes, no one in the Clan could deny that Right Hand was an excellent leader. Under his wing, many people who had previously been outcasts of society had become the best of the best in Clan Toppat. Right Hand Man has also erased everything darkly connected to Terence Suave.

Right Hand Man is fair to everyone in the clan, but extremely hard on himself. Even after 20 years, he still feels guilty for not being able to save his husband.

notes about "toppat rescue"

- post launch (like in valiant hero or jewel baron)

- henry gets kidnapped again. by the government. agai

- halfway through reg and right show up to bust his ass outta there

- reg clearly seems hesitant but eventually FINALLY warms up to henry when henry and right team up a lot (in choices)

- henry promotes both to his right/left hands in the end

- you get a little epilogue monologue from chief/right (like what reg gives at the end of toppat king)
