Very unfortunate news, one of our foxes seems to have sadly contracted mange.

If you are unaware, mange is a skin disease caused by mites burrowing into the skin and laying eggs, and the life cycle repeating. It causes hair loss (which can be seen on the tail, face, and legs), extreme scabbing to the skin (which you can see on the face). In later stages it can cause complete hair loss, abnormal behavior such as lethargy and being active during times they normally wouldn't.

Mange can technically be treated, though it is difficult. The main way is through oral or injectable anti-parasitic drugs. The problem is catching the animal before the disease gets too far along.

It's also important to note:

humans and pets can contract certain types of mange, though it is easily treated with anti-parasitics since you have the subject of the disease with you.

Mange is very contagious, usually through direct contact, but also from something like an animal wandering into the affected animals den. The mites can live off the original host for up to a week, letting them find a new host.

If you suspect an animal has mange call your local wildlife center, or the equivalent to where you live. It's very important to stop the spread before it gets out of hand and affects other species.

petition for ppl to stop trying to deny Ichigo’s title as a delinquent on the grounds of him being a good student. you know delinquency and good grades aren’t mutually exclusive, right? you want to tell me Kurosaki Ichigo, THE Kurosaki Ichigo, a mix of 4 different races, can’t be a delinquent AND 11th in his school? yeah, you’re delusional.

no one’s gonna call you a delinquent just bc you have bad grades. a bad student? yes. but a delinquent? no, bc the definition of the word is “someone who tends to commit crime, particularly minor crime”, and as far as I’m aware beating up ppl is a crime, even if they start it and even if they’re bad.

embrace the reality of Kurosaki Ichigo, saviour of all three worlds, being a dumbass teenager who’s face is known to every cop in the area. the responders for 119 calls know Ichigo’s voice by heart, he says “hi” and they just sigh and ask “how many?”.

this is also a kind of continuation to my post about Grimmjow being in shock when seeing Ichigo out of Shinigami robes, bc we all know he likely thinks of Ichigo as a do-gooder and a law-abiding human (derogatory) and so he’s not surprised when he comes to the Human World and fucking everyone from officers to doctors smile at the guy with exclamations of “Oh, it’s Kurosaki!”. he is significantly more surprised when Tatsuki tells him exactly why they react like that. he loves it and Kurosaki gains two points of respect from him, but he’ll never know.

Ça fait littéralement 3h que je suis téléphone avec la Caisse d'Epargne car je suis tomber dans une arnaque (DE RENOUVELLEMENT DE CARTE VITALE VUE QUE JE SUIS CON) En gros comme j'ai eu récemment des changements de mutuel et que ce matin j'avais la tête dans le cul et j'étais extrêmement fatigué car je reviens de 2 semaine ou j'étais pas chez moi (Reims puis Londre) donc je me suis dis que c'était normal et cohérent ET BAH NON ON TA PIRATER ET ON TE PREND TON ARGENT KENSHI heureusement la dame de la cause d'Epargne est très mimi et fait tout son possible pour m'aider mais du coup je suis en pique d'anxiété et d'angoisse j'ai envie de crever et le dessin de ce soir pour le pride month sera sûrement en retard du coup car je suis le plus gros clown du cirque 🤡
