First off this absolutely cursed AU was inspired by Lemonomelette and a post they made -X Secondly I imagine it all being about bots and cons trying to one up each others factions and not actually helping in any serious way because their too busy with their own faction bs.

Think of two rival car dealerships across the street one upping each other to get business and instead of business with cars its interstellar robot fairys trying to woo sm children to let them grant their inconsequential wishes (which may or may not be worth it) instead of the other guy next door.

here is a sneak preview of the "deliver us from evil" prologue!

The sunrise is beautiful. Somber darkness bleeds through to reveal a mellow orange in the skies above. The frosted mountains peer down upon the sleeping city nestled in its valley. Its presence blends this newfound light with a gentle blue hue, finally bringing life to these muted layers of snow. How peaceful it seems. Each role is fulfilled with such grace, nearly untouched by human turmoil. The morning wind bites. Its teeth fiercely graze Kai’s cheeks. Every inhale aggravates his scarred throat, still sorely scraping against his lungs after sprinting to the Chidouin residence. Tending to the family within had allowed him a brief reprieve, but standing in the crisp air again lights the tender wicks aflame. Once the door behind him opens, a familiar stride hits the wooden patio and echoes through the hollow floor beneath—for as deliberate as it appears, Kai notes a slight weight upon the right leg. A hand suddenly meets his shoulder, and only then does he glance beside himself. Master Chidouin settles at his left side, finally resting his briefcase before the stairs. With his hand free, Hikari pulls out a cigarette pack and takes one for himself, offering another for his assistant. Shaking his head, Kai instead asks: ���Is Atsuko ready?” “Just about,” and the words scarcely leave his lips when he ignites the lighter. “She’ll be alright,” Kai promises, tentatively raising his hand to rest upon his elder’s—firmly clasped upon his shoulder, as though he fears to lose his support. Ever slightly, Kai inclines his head Hikari’s direction. “In a half hour alone, she has regained her strength.” Hikari exhales, letting the smoke trail off in a bitter whisper. The acrid taste stings Kai’s tongue, though he quickly suppresses the rising cough. It disperses into the cold dawn, its source clear as the day to come: this is the second seizure Atsuko has had within four days, meaning they cannot hold off on their intended appointment with Asunaro any longer. It is only natural for Hikari to rely on this habit more than before, even if it betrays the unspoken worry eating away at him. The sight is a painful one, knowing aloud the most he’ll ever allow is: “I know.” Though the phrase exists as an effort to reassure, those few words plant an inexorable dread in Kai’s chest. Even so, when Hikari lets go of his hand to bring him into a half-hug, Kai finds it difficult to cling to anything but the warmth of his embrace. “Asunaro’s got it handled.” As if an ember has broken from his hearth, it burns upon Kai’s chest with abrupt guilt. His fists curl around the railing.

i am evidently extremely normal about their interactions few and far between. one of the only chapters that hikari is still alive...

One thing about canto VI is like. I see so many people predicting it'll be about Fighting Evil Wife or Breaking Codependent Toxic Relationship and I just kinda think that would suck? If the major theme isn't grief AND love and the way both are seen as like Kinda Weird/inappropriate in the setting of the city. Then I'll be very sad.

"Aros~!!!" Pomefiores Cameraman calls out, filming the corridor. "Wait shit— don't tell vil said that." The camera is fumbled with, grumbling can be heard.

The view turns to the window, and a sleek glove and black arm are seen opening the window. The camera zooms in on two students, chasing a third and fighting each other on the way.

The chasers, nor recognisable, were Scarabias Tiger and Octavinelles Great Shark. The chased, the Mouse of Heartslabyul.

"Geez, I wonder what he did today."

The video ends with a wave to the camera. ]

[ There is a slight pause, for a couple of the seconds, while the camera is propped up on what seemed to be a specially made stand, proper lighting coming through the back, just as one would expect from a celebrity like Aros was.

The phone's camera was positioned so that Aros' upper torso and face were visible and centered in the camera, much like one would present themselves in a typical video call.

"Hello, Ah- ...Raven? Is- it alright to call you that? I'll assume so, for now, however please feel free to correct me if there is another term you'd rather me use."

He greeted, with a small, polite nod.

"It is certainly... a change of pace to have a video such as this in my inbox. Your 'super cool video' has been received with amusement. Your crew seem like a lively bunch, as is the 'crew' I too find myself in. They are... very, 'fight happy', as well.

"My my, I am no such thing! Your words truly wound me, Aros."

Another voice chimed in, sounding to be farther away from the camera than Aros was. Aros stepped back, and turned his head around, for a brief moment, solidifying this belief, scoffing, though fondly.

"Would it kill you to not eavesdrop for once in your life, Crimson?"

Aros spoke exasperatedly, bringing his attention back to the camera after he had glared half-heartedly at Crimson, and spun the phone into a landscape position instead, the camera now capturing more of his room behind him, featuring Crimson sprawled out onto his bed, messing up what was otherwise quite a neat area.

"Who knows! I certainly wouldn't want to try it. Who knows what would happen!"

Crimson responded, with an exaggerated, yet obviously fake gasp, his tone filled with cheek and sarcasm alike.

Aros rolled his eyes at Crimson's antics, before addressing the camera again.

"I shan't drag this on too much longer, though I do send my well wishes to... uhm- was that... Mouse, perhaps? And Tiger and Shark. I hope they haven't gotten themselves into... too much trouble."

He spoke, with a slight chuckle, while Crimson can be seen grinning amusedly at Aros as he spoke, sitting on the edge of his bed now.

"If there's anything you need, Raven, even if trivial, feel free to keep reaching out."

"Say Hi to Shark-ie for me, whoever's watching! Hm... I do wonder which traits of theirs are more shark-like. Ehe~"

Crimson piped up, having suddenly popped up behind Aros, in a tone that sounded equal parts teasing, and serious, throwing up finger guns at the camera, accompanied by a playful wink.

"Sure. And that, I suppose."

Aros tagged on, about to give the camera a wave when-

"Oh oh! If you find out what Mouse-y did to get chased by the others, I'd be very amused to kno-ww~!"

Crimson continued, in a singsong voice, giving the camera finger hearts, seeming very content to be messing with Aros, as well as the people who would inevitably be watching the video later, all at once.

"As long as you're not planning on using it for blackmail, or some kind of business leverage..."

Aros responded with a sigh, raising an eyebrow at Crimson, who only giggled in response, blowing Aros a kiss with teasing grin.

Aros just sighed, and turned back to (finally) give a polite wave to the camera, Crimson giving a much bigger wave in the back, before the video abruptly ends. ]

SO. This post was a long time coming!

Back in October 2020, @mrspider made a monster themed prompt list for Inktober. I asked if I could write for it instead, and since then, I've very slowly filled out the whole prompt list just to prove to myself I could finish it. It took me like... two years, yeah, but does anyone ever finish on time?

I'm very proud of some of the work I put in though, so now it's done, I thought I'd finally share the Masterlist of Monstertober stories! They're all horror in genre, and hopefully contain the right warnings, so y'know. Reader beware, we're in for a scare.

all of my ocs are so dear to me but i think if i had to pick one, it would be zafira <3 she is one of my oldest too (i think this year she will be maybeeeee 6 years old?) because i have been playing with variations of her since my junior year of high school so she is like a true day one :') she is such a sweetheart and loves helping people and loves animals!!! she's sort of a reluctant hero and didn't really wanna be dovahkiin but realized she could use her powers for good :')))

i recently started playing fallout 3 for the first time since it came out??? because i rmr playing it when i was like 8 and being way too scared by it KSDLFKJS so i figured to give it another shot! so this is ms. mi-cha!! my lone wanderer and for my playthrough, she is half korean, half black (going off of the fact that catherine's game model is black which i never knew until i started going through the fallout wiki!) and she is a lil smartypants <3 and OFC she's bi (she dated amata when they were young teens but realized they were better as friends and they were each others first kisses!!)

MY SWEET BOYYYYY (i say abt a 25 year old man), deon is definitely the softest oc i have so far, he is the second in command, later the leader, of my first community in state of decay 2, the fragments! he took over the position after his best friend (and crush) max's mental health started to decline as a result of stuff he had to do as warlord (a subclass of hero in sod2) :( he is a very kind hearted man, always wanting what is best for the settlement and as a trader hero, he established a trading outpost at their homebase allowing for traders from around the region to come and trade! he also looooves animals and specialized in pathology to help create more plague samples and became one of the settlement's main medics! he is a very busy man but he doesn't care what is thrown his way, as long as it means that the settlement and the valley is safe!!

venus (cyberpunk 2077)

it comes as no surprise as someone who was once embroiled in arasaka's innerworkings and coming from a family who was thoroughly involved in arasaka business would be standoffish but after being backstabbed by a higher up in a botched assassination attempt on another higher up and having everything she had worked so hard to earn taken away in the blink of an eye, it's no wonder that venus is the way she is :/ but don't let her steely expression and sharp words get to you too much, once you crack through her touch outer shell, you will find a woman who wants nothing more than to be loved and trusted :/ she rly does have a heart of gold tho, she kept it quietly but when she was still employed at arasaka, a small chunk of her paycheck went towards a school for inner city kids to help fund their educations and provide teachers with supplies 💗

i mean. if you have seen saints row 2 in any way, either played it or watched a playthrough of it, you will see how much of a dumb (affectionate) game it is 😭 i believe mara is my oldest oc omg... this bitch has been with me for 10+ years?? that's actually so crazy to think abt omg... anywho, mara is the boss of the third street saints and is genuinely one unserious women. she is fashionable as hell and likes to appear a professional, well kept lady but she is anything but 💀 has been caught streaking multiple times on the beach during a night out with her crew, once got stuck hanging out the side of a helicopter during a mission with her underwear on full display, advertises open house free weed "tastings" at the university district apartment, joined a coed curling team at the university when she was younger for the hell of it... just a very unserious woman

i already mentioned mi-cha being a smart lady in her section but i felt i would mention her here once more <3 and ms. xolia my beloved... she is a benefactor for the resistance in my sequel trilogy rewrite and i can't decide whether i want her to run a nice nightclub or be like an art gallery curator that is able to shuffle money around without suspicion... but yes! she was orphaned as a young child and taken in by a wealthy family from naboo who later saw their oldest child become the senator of naboo and xolia sort of followed in her sister's footsteps during her teenage years, shadowing her and learning the inner workings of the galactic senate. she is a very attentive and smart woman and i love her dearly 💓

VERNONNNNN named after vernon from the kpop group seventeen and also inspired by vernon himself! he is a nomad and just such a little comedian, even though he is a pretty quiet guy! like when he is in the right atmosphere, around the right people, he will be the absolute life of the party. he is a major cat lover and is looking to adopt whatever cat he might stumble upon in night city. i think vernon and i would get along super well for all of these reasons but specifically the part abt being cat lovers!

oohh ive done one of these so i think my answers might be the same but maybe there's changes?? idk. well at least these r the things that make me happy as of rn:

1. food. i looooove a sweet lil treat as a pick me up. i am not immune to treating myself for the smallest things. my go to is an iced capp.

2. napping. the most beautiful and amazing thing rn. like just lazing around in the sunny spot on my floor w a pillow. that hits the spot.

3. my family. rn my mom and dad have been sending pics of their trip and im so happy they remember things i like to take pics of. like they'll see a weird flower or cats lounging places and stop everyone else to take a pic bc "ray needs to see this!"

4. here's a new one! i love when ppl bounce their ideas off on me. like you, k, or karo and em coming to me like "i have an idea!" and yall just gotta imagine me looking like this every single time u do.

5. transit. i love public transportation and people watching while i have my headphones w music on. especially w my class times it's relatively empty now so i get to people watch w out any real disturbances
