The world is cruel and unfair. But that doesn't mean that you have to be as well. You have the ability to be better than that. That's what makes people great. Bad people just wanna make their bad day everyone else's problems. I've been cyberbullied, doxxed, and stabbed in the back more times than I can count. Its not going to stop me from being a good person and helping others. Because if I stoop to the same level as those people? They would win, because it would make me just as awful as them, thus making them feel validated in their horribleness. So remember that when you get up each morning...the strength you have to be better than what the world throws at you. I haven't finished my Tron fanfic, and it's the longest thing I've ever written, it deserves an ending!

Here's to losing everything and it not being much. Here's to starting over for the 18th time. Here's to being bruised and broken, but never stopped. Here's to living, because it's all we can do. I have boba (brown sugar milk tea let’s go!) once a week, to remind myself if the sweeter things in life. I bought myself a loose, soft cardigan today, and I love it so so so much. I felt the sun today. Watched the sun set over a beautiful city skyline. Ate a very good and hearty meal for dinner. Met a friend I hadn’t seen in a while, had some great conversation. Watched the trees cast shadows on my bedroom ceiling as I lay on my firm bed and soft comforter. I’m starting at a new workplace soon. I swept my house and dusted my brain today.

Life is worth living. I’m happy I’m here.

Life doesn’t end at 18, guys. Just today I drank yet another cup of coffee and it was delicious.

Some people see routine as sad or something but every day I’m still like oh boy coffee time yum

I hope the last year went well for you. That even if by the nature of your human existence, you may not be able to look at it as an amalgamation of joyful moments, and it's probably easier for you to recall the gloomy ones, for hurt often lingers more than joy, I hope you can sit and bring to mind, even a couple of moments that brought you fleeting joy. For isn't that precisely what keeps us going? Momentary bliss in a sea of suffering? Perhaps it was that walk alone in the park in autumn when the cold breeze hit you and you were suddenly reminded of a specific feeling you recall having felt often in childhood, but one that you thought you would never be able to experience again; or perhaps it was that one moment of being surrounded by friends and family, when your stomach hurts from laughing a little too hard at a joke so absurd that you probably wouldn't even be able to explain to someone who wasn't present at that time with you; or perhaps it was that transient proud feeling you get after being able to put a seemingly original idea, you had been mulling over in that little head of yours for months. Whatever it was, I hope you're able to grab onto that feeling whenever every little seemingly insignificant thing starts to pile up and make you falsely believe, even if for a deceiving moment that it is not worth fighting through. I hope the memory of that feeling keeps you going. I hope it makes you realise that there are many more such moments to come in the following year. And I hope when you're thinking of all this you remember that I'm wishing for more such moments for you in this upcoming year and the years to follow. Happy New Year.
