Honestly I feel for Sam but serves him right.

Even if we ignore the potential intermingling of the web or any other other spooky strings that are likely being pulled, there's a lot to unpack here.

I wouldn't say Sam "deserved" it, but Alice tried warning him for months. This is what he gets for sticking his nose in places it didn't belong.

Did I say the same thing about Jon in TMA? Yes and no. Obviously there isn't a story without someone doing something dumb, but I think Jon's situation and Sam's situation are a little different. Jon was an idiot, yes, but he (and everyone else around him) were forced to go in completely blind. He had no idea what he was doing and didn't have any warnings or help at all except from his creepy boss with ulterior motives.

Sam also went in blind, but he was warned several times by several people including the eldritch computer to stop and turn around. He could have avoided this if he just returned Alice's calls or looked at her messages.

But nooooo he had to poke around with his little crushy crush and get himself thrown into a portal to what we can only assume is the TMA universe. Serves him right.

I wonder if Fyodor has kept his distance from Atsushi until now because Byakko's claws can cut through skills. I wonder if this is the moment Atsushi could use his claws. Would they slice right through Fyodor's borrowed body to tear him into the same ribbons as Shibusawa?

Is Fyodor afraid of the absolution Atsushi could give him? Or is he starving for it? Is this what he wanted all along? To find Atsushi at the end, to break him until Byakko tears through Atsushi's flesh and into his?

Nothing is hollow; Fyodor is just so hungry for scraps he can't bear to eat that he calls the viscera contracting around his aching gut nothingness, and garnishes his desires with incorrigible sin because then death might taste like salvation. He craves blood but hates when it touches him, because blood and viscera are too warm, too human; and he isn't that, even though he loves humanity so desperately that he's resolved to leave only when he can take the entire world with him.

Extremely funny to me that PiglinMyNose's character journey is "Death game with SnifferMyFeet" followed by "Eating pancakes in Decked Out 2" followed by "Tagging after Joel in Hermitcraft Season 10" followed by "Recording murder mystery skits."

Every time NameMC gives us a new PiglinMyNose skin, I just imagine he's busy with his acting work and SnifferMyFeet is sitting in an empty auditorium with a big sign that says '10' and he's like "WOO-HOO! Yeah! I know him!"

He would probably do this if Joel's intro skits were a live theater performance too. And he'd be dragged out by other Hermits while kicking and yelling.

Later you find out he's sprawled atop the concessions bar just idly kicking his feet and waiting for the show to finish. He misses his friend.

Do you then think about how everything that is happening to you in this moment that is real and immediate is something you will almost certainly not remember? As is true of almost every moment experienced thus?

#I remember once being in an underground station underneath the City of London once in...I think December of 2022 #and you can see already so many details are gone #what day was it?#I think I was leaving the archive #and I remember looking at the sign with the name of the station #and I knew I would not remember that moment #but for the fact that I was making a conscious note of it #and I thought perhaps someday I would remember that I meant to remember #but would not be able to recall those details that in that moment were before me in their plain and honest immediacy #how many times was I in an underground station looking at one of those signs #how many of those did I see?#all gone #and here we are on August 5 2024 #it was not Bank #I could probably look at a map and then make up the memory #oh here is another dim memory #I must have been four or five years old #I was in the car looking out the window with my hand on the window #and I remember thinking that moment was going to end and be gone forever and I would never live it again #what is life even #Ivan you are too old for this nonsense you know how it goes

I NEED to get back into oc f/os. I just remembered my old casino themed anthro shark guy. He never got a solid enough ref sheet (or lore, really) for me to feel comfortable making him one of my f/os but maybe I should remedy that at some point. Big Jack.........

#his name is Jasper Roulette but everyone calls him Big Jack #he's a ''professional'' underground gambler and great white 'card shark'#insists he's an ex crime boss but won't tell anyone what that entailed #well... he WILL. but it's a different story every time. always a lie and often over the top #nobody knows for sure if any of it's true or not. but pretty much everyone either 100% believes it or is too scared to contest it #bc his persona around other casino goers is this rough and tough type guy and he has the looks and talk to back it up #really though even IF it's true he's pretty harmless now. his whole thing is ''yeah I used to do that but I'm turning my life around''#which others are skeptical about but is mostly true. he's kinda just chilling #he's a cheat and a showoff and an asshole but he's more intimidating than he is dangerous #and he has way more money than he cares to do anything with (where he got it who's to say) so he doesn't mind just handing it out #he was the first character I made for a little game / visual novel I wanted to make at one point but ended up giving up on #it was just about sharks in an underground casino #the idea was you could play little mini games and have conversations with them #and if you made the conversation go in the ''right'' direction there'd be little collectibles that opened new paths #but it never went anywhere other than some ideas and a very rough drawing of Big Jack (which actually came first lol)#unfortunately I designed him IMMEDIATELY before I got super into Sparker as one of my f/os so he got swept under the rug real bad #sorry sharky 😔#roz posts

why doesn't chara & asriel live with toriel at all?

#ok now to actually explain it and not just post no context imgs #it was a while from the time monsterkind was freed to when asriel and chara came back/came to the surface #and in that time life had continued going on without them. as it had the same way when they died #im thinking it was anywhere around a year before frisk in their infrequent trips to the underground #was able to convince flowey to take a piece of their soul so he could hold his goat form together somewhat #and bring him back to the surface #but for chara it took longer. two years maybe? from monster independence day to come back #because frisk had to first find out where chara's real original soul was being kept and then find it and stuff #i can talk about this another time its such a huge can of worms my god #BUT BASICALLY it was a few years and by the time both kids were integrating back into society #the lives of those they loved had changed so drastically #chara didnt know their parents split up. they didnt know asgore killed human children or that their mother went into isolation #not until the game events anyways #and when they cam to the surface and saw all of that stuff -in person- as well as how well/poorly one parent was doing over another #theyyyy didnt take it well. like their mother had a new partner (doesnt matter who take your pick) and was raising frisk #and their dad was super mega turbo divorced and depressed and had nothing but his garden #in their mind toriel didnt need them anymore. she had a new partner and a new human kid and chara had served their purpose #so they elected to stay with asgore so he would have Someone anyone in his life and asriel followed #iiittts a huge mess basically. huge emotional landmine mess of insane proportions #undertale #my art #ask

the only season past last life to have a dark oak forest (as far as i remember) is lim life so what if. southlanders in lim life

#i know 3rd life also has a dark oak forest but 1) i like lim life more than 3rd life and 2) it was before last life anyways #itd obviously affect the teaming a Lot. we'd have team tes instead of ties #not sure what would happen to the bad boys or mean gills and i think joel would rather eat 20 tnt minecarts than team with scott #hmm. if joel teamed with team tes they could possibly make team Jest #but i got no ideas for what team scott would either join or make. ive never watched him #onto the actual southlanders themselves though. they could either make the mansion into their base like the bad boys #or just make another castle down on the ground. im just gonna go with the latter #with the bad boys disbanded would there still be like tnt minecarts from the sky and stuff. if there are then i think #the sl would either hide underground or go even higher #the castle towers would be a prime target for any tnt blasts. the poor chests....#i think martyn would still win somehow though #ououuugghh thinkings...#mine #this au gets a tag now i think #limited southlands

It's interesting how Tobias is practically in limbo because he doesn't fit in with Wammy's ideals & doctrine (it's clear from the few orphans we've met that they are/were genuinely good people at heart and easy to impress/groom as children, which is why they were so quick to lay their lives down for Watari's cause of "greater good" without so much as a second thought) but he also doesn't fit in with the underground entirely (he doesn't feel anything at all about murdering people and taking advantage of them, and he certainly does find it fun to get revenge on those he deems deserving/those who can challenge him, but he's the odd one out nevertheless because he gets no "ego boost" nor pleasure of any kind from simply getting richer or from having power over the powerless like the typical dons or criminals do; and in certain cases he even considers their preferences to be in poor taste).

Like bro where do you even belong.#Tobias the guy who brings chaos (/neg) in the lawful world and the guy who brings chaos (/pos) in the crime world #He's a headache for everyone involved (too murderous for the good guys; too 'righteous' [<- in their opinion] for the bad guys)#Atp the only things that drive Tobias to act are 1) spite 2) interest in specific people 3) retribution (whether repaying favors or death)#Wammy House's wild card fr.
