LGBTQ+ Flags: Symbols Of Identity And Unity
The colourful flags around us are not just ordinary flags; they are called LGBTQ flags, and they are super special! LGBTQ flags are like symbols that represent people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or any other gender or sexual identity. When someone says, “LGBT flag” or “flag LGBTQ,” they are talking about these amazing flags that show support and love for everyone, no matter who they are or who they love.
Now, let us talk about what makes these flags so awesome! First off, there is not just one LGBTQ flag, but many! Each flag has its own unique colors and meanings, but they all share one important thing: they are all about celebrating diversity and unity. When you see a LGBTQ flag, it is like a big hug saying, “You’re amazing just the way you are!”
So, next time you see a flag LGBTQ waving in the breeze, remember how special it is. It is not just a piece of fabric; it is a symbol of identity and unity for people all around the world. And that is something worth celebrating!

Asexualgender Pride Flag
Asexualgender, asexual gender, or asexual-gender: a descriptor for when someone uses the word asexual for their gender. Similar to acegender, but necessarily an orientationgender. It's under the asexuous umbrella.

What's frustrating about being a supporter of a mlm ship is the immediate presumption of the shippers' identity as a "cis heterosexual woman" who fetishsizes homosexuality (not that that problem doesn't exist, but that's not what this post is for).
Our identities also include:
Cis gay man
Gay/bi/pan trans/woman/man/enby
Cis/trans polyamorous gay/bi/pan woman/man/enby
Cis/trans gay/bi/panromantic asexual woman/man/enby
On and on, the intersections within the LGBTAI+ community are infinite.
Yet our mainstream media shies away from canonizing mlm relationships on screen, by whatever arbitrary measure deemed correct by the heteronormative power structure, which means bi or pansexuality and gender fluidity can be masked beneath an optically cis heterosexual relationship that is spoken of as queer only in dialogue.
I am a queer person. The argument I most often see is that being in a relationship with someone of the opposite gender doesn't negate a person's bi or pansexuality. This is ABSOLUTELY TRUE in real life. I'm in such a partnership, and here's the thing ...
When I share my queer identity with others and they see my partner of 15 years, the question I get asked is:
"How can you still be ×-sexual if you're in a heterosexual relationship?"
It is as though, by committing to someone who presents as the opposite gender, my lived experience (all the people I loved deeply in the past; the pain of coming out not once, not twice, but three times; the pain of permanently cutting off people in my life) was completely erased. My partner and I are optically viewed as "straight" despite how we actually define our individual genders and sexuality. Despite continuing to feel queer attraction. Despite continuing to remember previous queer loves with incredible fondness. Despite still celebrating with friends in the community and proudly bearing my flags.
This is why I truly believe there needs to be a greater push for more same-sex representation ON SCREEN in the MAINSTREAM. We cannot have authentic stories of the queer experience without it. It is a stepping stone to representing all the other identities that are swept under the rug. There is a big difference between knowing who you are in real life and interpreting what big money media is doing with your identity for the sake of pleasing the heteronormative masses and offering only subtext for the queer community in order to get the highest amount of views. Subtext, which by the way, is immediately dismissed as reading too deeply into it!
Well, guess what? Being queer inherently means reading deeply into subtext. This has been our language for decades. I should know, I'm OLD. Picking up subtle cues was and is part of queer courtship in real life because you absolutely could not out yourself in public. In more than half of the U.S. that is STILL the case!
I have a very close cis straight friend who thought Korrasami came out of nowhere. I had to sit them down and explain all the little cues, including the infamous hairpin in Asami's lips close-up. They remarked, "Wow, that's a lot of work. Is that how it worked when you tried to meet someone in public?"
YES! And it's 2023 coming on 2024, and we still have to go through this extra bullshit cis heterosexual people take for granted! If there is even a hint of queer mlm romance, you know what happens? They either get separated or killed or BOTH!
They are separating us and killing us on screen because we can only exist in subtext and tragedy. And then, when we dare to hope another ship might make it, that finally, we will have our moment in the sun, we are told:
"You weren't baited. Nothing was confirmed. What did you expect? They're just friends. You looked too deeply into it and did this to yourself. You are gross and keep migrating from one gay ship to another, you homosexual fetishsizing misogynistic pervert."
These people take intersectional social justice language and weaponize it against us. They moralize us on our own identities without even knowing who we are or what we've been through. They think we're desperate and delusional for the audacity of hoping we might see a happy ending that reflects us in the mainstream.
I am so, so tired.

I think that it says a lot about how we perceive the world as having changed for the better since there's now a whole new generation of young adults who are taking medical advice and ordering supplements and medications online
Like, I came into adulthood in the late 2010s where eventually someone had to flat out tell people that a popular social media post listing an abortion tea was actually just a steaming hot cup of poisonous plants, and for a few years after that I was like "everything's cleaned up. Everyone knows now not to trust strangers online and that a profile that lists themselves as being a 28 year old trans woman from Virginia with a medical degree could be fake"
But I forgot that for a good few years, people were actually optimistic about the intentions of those around them, and lived in a society that was hypercritical of our social and medical failures.
So, here's the reminder:
-just because someone lists themselves as trans does not mean they're trans
-just because someone is trans does not mean their definition of transitioning is the same as yours
-there is no magic change gender pill that will work for everyone with minimal side effects. Everyone's hormone balances are different. It is safer to see a medical professional in person to discuss hormone therapy than to risk the side effects associated with hormonal imbalances.
-trans healthcare and legality varies by state and country
-misinformation about binders runs rampant.
-there is no safe abortion tea, and while abortion pills are available online they should only be bought through reputable sellers associated with larger organizations.
-punching yourself in the gut, throwing yourself down the stairs, or taking a boiling hot bath are 'methods' of abortion that are pushed along by radical anti abortion activists who would rather see you 'punished' than successfully complete an abortion.
-being on Tumblr does not make someone a person capable of giving trustworthy and safe medical advice to lgbtai+ or pregnant people. If anything, them answering asks and giving unfaltering, overly confident answers regarding how others should approach medical care without seeing them in person should make you MORE CONCERNED
-THERE ARE MULTIPLE GROUPS THAT WOULD RATHER SEE YOU DEAD OR GRAVELY INJURED THAN TRANS OR UNPREGNANT.

‘My favourites among Louis' sisters have always been Georgia and Fizzy. I think that says enough tbh’
What makes them your favorites? I don’t know anything about Fizzy, and I’m assuming Georgia is a half or stepsister?
You mentioned nepotism, what are your feelings on Anne and Gemma?
Good morning, anons!
Yes, Georgia is his half-sister on his biological dad's side. All his sisters and brother are half-siblings. Georgia is between Lottie and Fizzy in age. Georgia used to be active on both tumblr and twitter and there was a time where she was the only one who didn’t shit on larries or perpetuated the stunts. I think Georgia is more like Louis personality wise than his other half-siblings. She has an actual personality, has clear interests and is indie and cool in a way Louis will never be. She was pro lgbtai+ and supported gay marriage when the other siblings seemed to support Louis in his queer rejectals. She's cool.
Fizzy was my favourite among the Tomlinsons because she was intelligent, bright, reflected and informed about social issues. She was the only one defending us larries, she called out the Clar*s for lying and stealing pics and the only one not liking E's ass. She swore, she was loud, interacted with fans, and was just all around a great woman. She always had good takes. So different in comparison to her sisters. She spoke about the destigmatisation of mental health issues. How she was trying to quit smoking and that her favourite subject at school was philosophy. Like can you imagine any of the other sisters hosting discussions like this and being so frank about subjects like this?
About Gemma. My feelings are the same as the Tomlinson sisters. They're all taking advantage of the platform they've been given just by being the sister of a famous person. They're using their platform to get attention and influence, so they're working as influencers. I don't know why the sibling of a famous person's thoughts and views about this and that should matter more than a random person on the street's thoughts and views...
The difference between Gemma and the Tomlinsons sisters is that Gemma is legitimising her bad takes by claiming that her influencer book was written with the help of experts on the field. She's also discussing subjects she clearly has no idea about and is doing it in a very moralising way, which is very off putting to me.
I just don't understand why they don't have any aspirations and goals in life, besides taking advantage of their brother's fame to make money of their own. No wish for self-development by getting an education? No wish for self-realisation by earning their place? No wish to contribute to society by doing honest work in an honest job? No wish earning their privilege and not relying on their relation to their brother. They'd rather help their brother in lying and gaslighting their fans and perpetuating false narratives, because it's beneficial to them. No pride, no shame.

This is LITERALLY the whole OFMD fandom with Izzy: we have a WHOLE ASS GAY POC DIVERSE CREW and all the people still obsessed over the (probably) only hetero white character, going as far as painting him as "queer coded" (in a show where everyone is openly gay???), "repressed gay in the closet coded", "indigenous coded" (... what), "wife coded", "woman coded". Instead of you know, loving the actual indigenous, poc, lgbtai+ rep in the show. People were literally "they killed the queer coded character and he didn't end up with ed so it's queer baiting and bury your gays". Like, IT'S STILL A THING. People are still saying it's bury your gays. The whole crew is gay but the only (very probable) hetero dude dies and suddenly it's a tragedy 💀
Character: is a white man. That’s it.
Fandom: how dare you dislike this femme-coded female-coded gay-coded disabled-coded mentally ill-coded icon

Bisexual Pride Day 2024: What Is It, How To Celebrate?
Bisexual Pride Day, also known as Celebrate Bisexuality Day or Bi Pride Day, is an annual celebration dedicated to honoring and acknowledging individuals who identify as bisexual. This special day is filled with joy, acceptance, and recognition of the diverse experiences within the bisexual community.
Bisexual pride is all about embracing the love for both boys and girls. The bisexual flag, a vibrant symbol of this pride, features three stripes: pink, purple, and blue. Pink represents attraction to the same gender, blue signifies attraction to different genders, and purple symbolizes attraction to both. Celebrating bisexuality is crucial for making bisexual individuals feel accepted and valued for who they are. After all, love is love, no matter who it’s with!
On Bisexual Pride Day, people around the world unite to show support and celebrate bisexuality. This day serves as a powerful reminder to embrace one’s identity and to promote understanding and acceptance of bisexuality within society. It’s a day to acknowledge the unique challenges bisexual individuals face and to celebrate their contributions to the broader LGBTQ+ community.
By coming together to celebrate Bisexual Pride Day, we not only honor the bisexual community but also foster a more inclusive and accepting world for everyone. TO KNOW MORE VISIT: https://giftor.in/bisexual-pride-day/

Let’s all remember what the A in LGBTAI is for.
INSANE TAGS. love the idea that the number 1 criteria of whether or not someone is lgbt is if they say the word faggot. love the idea that pushing aros out of our own community isn't arophobic. love an alloromantic person telling us we can't identify arophobia. absolutely wild all around
