TIPS ON REGRESSING WHEN IT JUST SEEMS TOO HARD:

Don't put pressure on yourself! Sometimes you can't regress for whatever reason, and that's okay! I like to say my baby is hiding when I can't regress :P sometimes our babies just want to hide sometimes

Treat it like a meditation! Slowly think of yourself as a baby, think of yourself regressing smaller and smaller until you are a tiny baby!

Wear and do baby like things!

Get someone to baby you! This always helps me!

Pretend you *are* regressed! Just start playing a without care of if you are regressed or not, eventually you might find that you are a baby :3

If you can, buy some new baby items! Bottles, toys, blankets, or anything like that! It can help excite your baby back out of hiding!

If all else fails, take care of your baby until they are ready to come out again!

i got an ask that had like 10 different lamplight questions in it (thank you!) and i cannot answer the whole thing rn (maybe later tonight!) but this one question, or half of one, is one i think i can answer pretty easily!

over a year ago i wrote a bunch of scenes for, uh... we'll call it an offshoot of lamplight. a few of you probs know what it is, but for those that dont, part of the plot involved Martyn and Ren being separated via some kinda magic bullshit for an extended period of time without knowing why or where the other is. i never posted any of it bc it was a collaborative AU/offshoot and makes... very little sense out of context, but id been wanting to take a few of the scenes i wrote for it and make them into an actual canon-compliant (but probs non-canon) lamplight fic, considering how it would be fun in light of the absence of Ren in two seasons of the life series

i never did do that, due to how much stuff id have to write for the setup and in between, however somewhat recently i did edit a few of the scenes i DID write to remove parts that were complete nonsense outside of the context of the offshoot. so, just to answer part of your question about scenes written and unposted, i'll attach screenshots here

all of these images are individual scenes and dont necessarily flow into each other, tho the last three are from pretty close together in the oneshot theyre from. dont worry about who the other character in these is i removed that guy's name bc itd be confusing if i didnt but dont worry about it

one of these days id like to make these into an actual fic, but for now, take uhh. Martyn gay pining moments. i guess.

my most recent WIP is pretty much a 5+1 about sanji, hunger, and the colour red, so red !!!!

gasp... not in my latest one... there's this other WIP i was revisiting about zoro being prone to seasickness when the crew first started (i.e. romance dawn era) ... i wrote him soooo pathetic

personifying inanimate objects my beloved............ i like treating the setting as another character :] one of the first compliments i ever got for my writing was about personification and the value of it has stuck with me ever since

hi hi! todays a bit of a flare up kinda day so I wanted to see if you had any tips or reassurance for disabled regressors? totally fine if not, Im just thinking about it.

I do! As a disabled caregiver and little, I've got a few tricks up my sleeve!

Take it easy! I know it can be hard to rest, but sometimes your body needs that, and that's okay!

Take all your meds! Especially symptom controlling medications!

Drink water and keep up with food!

Play games from your bed! Games don't always have to involve running around or being hyper! Sometimes, games just mean cuddling your stuffies and having a picnic with them :3

Use a heat/cold pack on any aches and pains!

Sometimes I find that wrapping my joints in bandages helps keep them in place, so that reduces my pain, find what works for you and use it!

If you need to wear any specialised equipment/technology, maybe you can put stickers on it to help make it not so medical! And please make sure to wear it all!

And at the end of the day, always remember that I love my fellow disabled siblings. You are all so important to me.

ren looked at martyn impassively, sat high on his throne. head held high, even the weight of the crown threathened to crumple his spine. his honey-warm eyes were cold, just like winter.

"rebel leader, martyn inthelittlewood, you have been charged with treason and conspiracy against the crown. what do you plead?" ren voice was just like his eyes, ice-cold; unmoving to the new growth of spring.

martyn resisted against the hand that pushed his head down, forcing him to kneel in front of the king. stuggling to meet with ren's eyes. not quite a beg for mercy. but a search for a man long-lost to the pressure and the mantle of a king, the red king.

"i plead guilty, my king." the title fell out of martyn mouth like poison, a sweet thing that hid a rot-eaten core.

"guards," the hands that held martyn down tightened, "behead the criminal."

"yes, your majesty." the guards moved to answer ren's command.

martyn's head was pushed down to the floor that was already soaked in the blood of his men. he was the last one to the stand.

there was something poetic about it, to die by the hand of the king he served to his last breath. not that ren believed that.

readying the blade against his throat, the guard pulled the blade up and swung.

"good-bye, my hand." was the last thing martyn ever heard.
