OUTER BANKS SEASON 4 SPOILERS BELOW THE CUT!!

Ok, so now that JJ is dead, NO ONE can. convince me that Riara WON'T happen in season 5 AND LET ME TELL Y'ALL WHY.

First of all, their chemistry has been there from the start. You could feel it even in season 1, and if you say otherwise, you're lying. They’ve given us so many moments—both direct and indirect interactions.

Have you noticed that when Rafe talks about Kiara, he uses her full name, but when he addresses her directly, it's ALWAYS and ONLY "Kie"?

THAT LOOK??? ARE Y'ALL SERIOUSLY GOING TO DENY THAT LOOK?

Also, remember in season 1, when Pope and Kiara talked, and Pope brought up her "Kook Year"? She reacted badly to that, and considering she was Sarah's best friend back then, a possible fling between Rafe and Kiara could've easily happened and is HEAVILY IMPLIED.

When Rafe picks fights with the Pogues, he never really targets Kiara aggressively(I mean yes he does almost choke her and tries to down her in the sewers but ykwim).For example, in season 1, he pulls her away from Barry, saying she was not the one they were looking for.

And these are only moments from the FIRST SEASON! The fact that are only those present in the first season and some of you still don't believe this ship leaves me flabbergasted.

Their strongest moment was definitely in season 3 with an entire arc of them together in Barbados.

ARE YOU TELLING ME THAT MEANT NOTHING?

Now, yes, Rafe met Sofia and dated her in season 3, but tbh it never felt genuine. Rafe is a twisted man, and it seemed like she was just a replacement for the family he lost. Rafe needs someone whom he can prove himself to, to encourage and love him, partly to prove he can be like Ward, another twisted man who always managed to keep his family together and placed his family first (at least according to his disturbed vision) . Now that he feels "betrayed" by Sofia, I doubt we’ll see her again.

ALSO THE RIARA MOMENTS IN THIS SZN WEREN'T GONE AT ALL, THEY WERE ON FULL FORCE.

Call me crazy if you want, but I genuinely believe Riara will become canon. It might even be part of the reason they decided to kill off JJ. Yes, Rudy Pankow didn’t want to continue on the show, but remember that interview where Carlacia said Cleo and JJ were supposed to be a couple? I don’t think Jiara was in the plan from the start; it happened mostly because of fans.

I’m not happy with how they handled this season, and I’ll probably talk about that in another post. I’m definitely NOT happy with JJ’s finale, but I’m excited about this likely-to-happen Riara pairing. And I don't know If It's just me but I'm noticing the writers seem to be pushing a potential redemption arc for Rafe, which I don’t fully approve of—but who knows, that could be another hint for Riara?

Fantasy x Grounds (I'd say 18+ for this one too) - the summary on the page just says "A funny fantasy comic with nameless characters". This is true but it's also a lie, it's also a fantasy comic full of heartaches and characters that feel like real people This one is from an italian author and I've been following it for years, I'm so in love with the story, the characters and their arcs it makes me unwell. There is an english translation and that version has updated art on old pages, some fixes for colors and redrawn sequences that are very very cool - the translation itself is also kinda rough at first but it gets better. I will also say, the earlier parts of the comic didn't age super well BUT. IT'S SUCH A GOOD COMIC. YOU HAVE TO SEE WHAT FUCKERY HAPPENS LATER, YOU HAVE TO SEE THE INSANE THINGS THEY FIGHT. What you favourite toh ship says about you

No judgement, just my opinion based on how shippers act and how I would feel if I were them. Pls let me know if I have forgotten something!

Lumity - you're glad you finaly got canon healthy wlw couple in a kid show and became obsessed with it. Also you like highschool romance trope and probably is taken.

Boschlow - you miss s1 Lumity potential and hate the way it was done in s2. Also you want Boscha to be your gf.

Boschamity - you miss s1 Amity and hate the way she was was done in s2. You believe deep inside Boscha is a good person, who has the same trauma as Amity and she could become better too if there was anyone for her. It's very likely that you're a bitch and used to have bitch friends who left you for some reason, but I can't judge you for it, cause I ship it too.

Willuz - you think Amity's arc was rushed. You feel bad for Willow, cause she was "separated" from Luz and Amity in s2 and think she became an ooc in s2 and miss Willow from s1.

Lunter - you think Lumity and Huntlow were written bad. "Highschool romance" is never your otp. You prefer classic (in any way). You're probably on aro spec or believe in soulmates. You and your crush always tease each other. You're good at keeping secrets.

Goldric - it started as a joke, but you don't think it's a joke anymore. When Huntlow appeared you realized you went too far to change anything. Also you just want to have more mlm couples in media.

Someone sent me an ask ages ago about my Valdangelo hcs, but it somehow got deleted? I’m really really sorry bc I missed a chance of a lifetime to infodump so I hope you’re reading this if that was you and you’ve been waiting for my response- here it is. Please please please don’t be discouraged I love it when people send me asks.

This also doubles up as the third instalment of my series about “Why Literally Any Ship Is Better Than Caleo/Deep-Dive Into My Thoughts On All Leo Ships”:

Pt. 1 Valzhang

We were robbed of Leo and Nico’s friendship. I get that there are a lot of characters and so many arcs to give them, but I wish that Rick had given them more time to interact and spent less time on Caleo, because tbh we never really cared about Cal for any reason other than to develop the men’s arcs. Because Platonic Valdangelo has so much potential that just isn’t covered in the books, I’m gonna base most of this post on what COULD’VE been, from fannon and headcannons.

1. They are Trauma Twinsies. By that, I mean they are both metaphors for different ways of coping with loss. Nico pushes others away from himself, not wanting to get close to anyone. Leo pushes himself away from others, hiding behind an idealised version of himself. Both believe that letting others in would just lead to rejection, and so they shut everyone out to protect themselves. But I feel like Nico copes with it a lot better than Leo does. He has an outlet for it- being emo. As someone who dabbles with emoism myself, I can tell you that, for me, wearing those clothes actually makes me incredibly happy. Nico is owning his pain. Leo is bottling it all up inside and then hiding it behind the jokes and the smiles. I feel like Nico could teach Leo to let it out a bit.

2. Also, their backstories match in more ways than one. Both their moms were killed because of a prophecy about them- leading them both to blame themselves for their deaths. Both have been treated as outcasts because of their powers, Nico by CHB and CJ, Leo by his family (and probably CHB as well, though we don’t really see how he was treated after revealing his abilities). Both ran away because of that. Both probably have religious trauma. They’ve both lost everyone they’ve ever cared about. They’re both being smothered with love and affection by Jason and the rest of the fandom. They both cope with feeling alone by spending more time talking to things that aren’t alive, Nico to the dead, Leo to his machines.

3. So imagine how they could seek comfort in each other! They’ve both been through similar things, so they understand each other’s pain way better than the others. I mean, Jason means well, but he’s never truly known what it’s like to be an outcast- he was held aloft on a golden shield and pronounced Preator. Neither of them would try to “fix” the other, and they wouldn’t try to “one up” the other either. They just share, and when the other says “that sucks”, they know that they really mean it. I imagine they sit five feet apart and just cry. No talking necessary, just silent understanding passing between them. They keep each other company, because they both know what it’s like to be alone.

4. They are both autistic (headcannon). Thank you to @aroaceleovaldez for opening my eyes to this one, and in fact making me realise a few things about myself and why I relate to Leo and Nico so much (pls go check out their posts on the subject, they do a much better job at explaining it than me). But it’s true. I don’t know if Rick did it intentionally or not, but I henceforth hath claimed them both as my kin, alongside Hephaestus himself (“I don’t understand organic life forms”- me neither, man, me neither). Leo and Nico communicate on the same wavelength, something Caleo doesn’t do. Calypso explodes at him for not fitting the “hero” stereotype, for being different. She has no patience with Leo when he does a social fuck-up, something I personally find incredibly frustrating. When he does something wrong, she just shouts at him, and doesn’t take the time to explain what he should do differently. No wonder Leo immediately got defensive! Here was this random woman yelling at him because he broke her table, and he didn’t understand what he did wrong.

5. They are both tiny- much like how Leo and Frank’s physical appearances symbolise their differences, Leo and Nico’s symbolise their similarities. Because all sad people are short, apparently. Valzhang is the yin and the yang, Valdangelo is just two yins excitedly info-dumping about their special interests, (Mythomagic, Machinery/Dragons). Their shortness could be metaphors for many things that they have in common, but I think it best symbolises their loss of childhoods. Nico has changed a lot since he was that happy little ten-year-old we first met in ttc, but Rick never lets us forget that he’s still just a kid. Leo always lacked the physical advantage in fights, so he’s had to learn from an early age to use his brains and his wits to defend himself. As a result, he grew up way too fast, but he still projects that silly, hyperactive little-boy energy as a way to mask. Calypso ridicules Leo for his height and his scrawny appearance.

6. Nico could let Leo get closure on his mom. Think about it. He’d be able to summon her, let him make peace, and let him realise that she does not blame him for her death. Nico could console Leo, reassure him that it wasn’t his fault, because Nico understands more than anybody what Leo is going through. This helps Leo on his arc way more than Calypso could, help him get closure, and learn to accept himself and his powers.

So, the summary of all these points is: They can understand each other on ANOTHER LEVEL. More than Cal and Leo ever could.

Like I said in my Valzhang post, it doesn’t have to be romantic. I hate that everything revolves around romance. Platonic relationships are important, y’all! We all need them, especially Leo, considering how insecure he feels about being the “seventh wheel”.

What ship should I do next? These are all the ones I actively ship, but anything’s better than Caleo. Liper could be fun, or Perleo. Maybe, to prove that literally anything is better than Caleo, I’ll do Leo x Octavian? Lmk in the comments.

PLS go on another rant about Kiran Fire Emblem I’m begging you 🙏

So recently I feel that I have been putting Kiran Fire Emblem through the wringer. Which is all well and good, but I believe it’s time for them to have good things. As a treat. This oddly takes the form of book 5.

In case it’s your first time witnessing my monologues or are in need of a refresher, let me provide a little context. Kiran had a life before being summoned to Askr and a major part of their arc is suppressing just how deeply that loss affects them. Like it or not, it bleeds into everything they do. This all culminates into book 4, which was an all time low for their character. A lot of issues all started blowing up in their face all at once, last but not least being the grief they hold from losing their entire world. It very nearly kills them. It was an extremely bad time.

However, lessons were learned. Since then, Kiran has been trying to vocalize their discomforts more. It’s a bit weird though, considering Anna and Sharena witnessed firsthand their little meltdown in the realm of dreams. It’s… damnit it’s just weird! Really weird! Most of their cards are on the table now and it’s weird! It’s not like their friends heard about this stuff by talking to them, they SAW it nearly KILL THEM. The dynamic is, understandably, different than it would otherwise be.

If they weren’t willing trying, Anna would pry their issues from their mouth with crowbar. Hell, sometimes she does anyway if she gets, in her own words, “a hunch.” Sharena meanwhile has been very pampering. They didn’t know she could be more pampering than she already was, but oh boy were they wrong. Three homemade meals a day guaranteed under her watch. And if they’re being honest, it does feel very nice, which ultimately makes them feel awful because the realm of dreams was rough for her too. She should also… they don’t know. They feel bad. She has reassured them many times that it’s all good and that this helps her too. And how even if it didn’t, she loves them and would do this stuff anyway. They don’t doubt that anymore but… they still feel bad. They feel bad about feeling good. It’s all a complicated mess. They are telling Alfonse about this though, which makes it feel less overwhelming. His insights help. He provides a bit of a sanity check.

It is within this state of recovery that book 5 occurs. Considering the weaponry of their enemy, Kiran ends up talking a lot more openly about their world. Delving into the literal and metaphorical mechanics of it. And it’s oddly fun! Alfonse has a leg up since he’s the only one who has been curious enough to ask prior to this. So there’s many scenarios where a.) something Kiran previous told him finally clicks now that he has a better visual for what they mean, which leads to b.) Alfonse and Kiran trying their best to explain to Anna and Sharena. It’s an absolutely ridiculous sight to behold— Sharena catches on a bit quicker since she’s pretty good at visualizing things, but Anna has no such boon and is STRUGGLING. Kiran and Alfonse aren’t exactly teachers either, so it’s a fun time.

Then they meet Reginn.

It feels obvious, in hindsight, that they were bound to click with each other. At first though, it seems like it’s going to be the same dynamic Kiran always has with the new stray the Order picks up. Polite friendliness alongside genuine empathy with a side of reassuring presence. The group agrees to help and Kiran gets cracking on how to make that a reality. But then something interesting happens. As Reginn speaks in further vulnerable detail about her plight to them, Kiran begins… talking. Like actually talking. Talking about their family and their life prior to Askr.

It starts small. The both of them are fixing up Reginn’s metal horse (the Order broke it in their initial fight with her) and she asks how they know so much about her country’s technology. She knows they’re from an alien world and, well, they aren’t proficient at this by any means— but they know enough to be helpful. And for once, Kiran is honest. “…My mom was a mechanic.” They say, not turning to face her. “She, uh, knew how to fix this kind of stuff. Taught us a little bit.”

It’s a small snippet of information that has taken five seasons to wring out of Kiran, and Reginn of all people is the first one to hear it. It’s way easier to tell her, for a multitude of reasons. One of them being exactly that— there’s no build up. Reginn didn’t see their book 4 meltdown. She doesn’t know how big of deal this is for them. That’s good. It takes the pressure off and makes it easier. For Reginn, this is information they offered casually and willingly from the beginning. And in doing this, they keep talking and both end up relating to each other rather deeply. It quickly becomes obvious that Kiran isn’t simply helping her out of the goodness of their heart, but because they personally relate to her plight. Kiran was extremely close with their siblings, and now they may never seen them again. They don’t want the same thing to happen to other people. This recontextualizes a lot of their actions, but it importantly builds trust. Kiran is immediately knocked off this pedestal as some morally pious figure and into a human person in her eyes. Someone who gets it and wants to help.

This creates a delightful dynamic between them. She is immediately more than friend, as that’s pretty explicitly what the Askr trio are to them. This is different. It’s familial. Reginn is working with information and a cultural context pretty perfectly equipped to understand them in this way. And, considering the losses they’ve both experienced, they crave this placement in each other’s lives. It’s healing. Kiran lost their family and Reginn’s family hasn’t been a family since Fafnir took the throne. It’s far from a replacement, but it’s definitely filling a void. They both needed this.

Gods, they both needed this.

They needed someone to respond to playful quips with a laugh and a clap back. They needed someone to triple dog dare to sling a spit ball into the back of a god’s head. They needed someone to people watch with as a late night to early morning watch shift wrapped up. They needed a shoulder to lean on after Otr finally said all the quiet parts out loud. They needed someone to understand some parts about them a bit more inherently than either are used to, for better or worse.

Without this, neither of them get better. Not anytime soon, anyway. But luckily, Reginn and Kiran entered each other’s lives at just the right time.

People are saying that JJ’s death and Rafe breaking up with Sofia could lead to Riara finally manifesting on screen.

Reasons why this wouldn’t happen:

1. I genuinely believed that Rafe loved and still loves Sofia and doubt their story is over. I hope it’s not; I really ship them!! They are a beautiful couple and not even Kiara could bring that soft side out of him.

2. JJ died. Kiara would NOT move on so fast and especially not with Rafe (someone JJ hated severely).

3. Kie has been genuinely SCARED of Rafe. A lot of people think those scenes are sexual tension but you can see the fear in her eyes to the point where she grabs a knife.

4. Kie knows her friends HATE Rafe but [see point 6 in the next section]

5. Kiara will be too focused on revenge.

however

Reasons why this COULD happen:

1. Kiara may go into self destruct mode and feel like she needs to fill that gaping hole JJ left.

2. Not canon (yet?) but with all the evidence, in that Rafe is constantly ONLY forgiving Kiara and is ONLY nice to her, they may have had a past on her Kook Year. Just a theory!

3. Rafe is angry by nature, and Kiara is going to be angry after JJ’s death. He may let her lean into that side of herself because he does that all the time, she might even feel comfortable to be angry around him. however I am sure the other pogues are angry, but Kie seems to be on a bloodhunt. She may go dark and he will probably be the only one to understand.

4. Rafe was the FIRST to agree to go to Lisbon and get Chandler Groff. Everyone else questioned it, but he said what she was thinking before she even had the chance to say it.

5. Also we know that Jiara partly came to fruition because of the fans shipping them, so maybe the show runners have seen the Riara theories and decided to “give the fans what they want”??? Although I wouldn’t say every fan wants this for the reasons I listed above.

6. Rafe is definitely getting a redemption arc (I am so happy but also scared because it means he might die. Like why do shows redeem a character and finally have us route for them just to kill them? Although I don’t think he will die for some reason.)

7. Both of their relationships ended, leaving a path for them to idk find each other?? Sarah and John B have each other as well as Cleo and Pope on their way to Lisbon. I know most of them are friends but Kiara may seek to end her loneliness?

8. I really hope it doesn’t happen soon but most characters whose lover dies (Ie Rick with Laurie and Michonne in The Walking Dead) have to move on eventually. We can’t expect them to stay single forever so PERHAPS if there was a time jump (even at the s5 end perhaps), along with Rafe’s redemption arc, they could be together. I doubt they would put Kiara with some random guy. If she were to find love again it would be with someone we know from the show.

However I doubt this will happen again because the show might end pogue style with friendship and family at the forefront rather than romance. As I wrote the sentence before THOUGH: another thought popped up. Rafe will be the uncle to Sarah’s baby and Kiara will be the ‘aunt’ so maybe if the ending is all about family, maybe they will come together?? Rafe’s redemption would have to be REALLY good though.

9. Kie literally saved Rafe on that boat???

10. The show creators said ON VIDEO that they never thought about Riara until the fans brought up their chemistry and that they found it “so wrong it is almost right”???? Helloooo??

I hope none of these^ are true though because I love Rofia.

then again Sofia might have just been used as a way to move the plot forward to get Rafe in the position where he needs to go with the Pogues.

Basically, when Kazutora is about to unalive Shinichiro, that toy he keeps in his shop explodes, and no it's not that 💣 explosion 💥 It's just a flash bang that blinds someone for like a minute.

You just straight up sitting between Ran and Rindou, the two like "Whose kid is this?" While Rindou a bit worried about you, ran straight up ✨ befriend ✨ you, like you two now besties.

Fast forward to Kazutora about to go apeshit and bright out the knife, you bring out your 💥bomb💥

Imagine Kazutora seeing a familiar toy being thrown in front of him and he like, "Oh shi-"

Straight up explosion, not a flash bang this time. pure explosion, a loud one and you can see the smoke and things.

OBX S4 SPOILERS AHEAD!!

so I'm typing this at 7 in the morning after watching part one of s4 and boy was it a buttload of s1 all over again.

and I mean that in a good way lol

jj said I love you to Pope 2-3 times which healed my soul and they had a bunch of good moments. but ofc with 3 canon ships in the way it's going to be hard to find stuff for the non-canon.

my newlyweds are happy and committed. That's all I want for them.

Pope and Cleo, they are so cute and I want nothing but the best for them.

jiara was fine. their chemistry was WAYYYYY better in this half-a-season than in the last 3. Obviously, the bends scene was the writers' way of giving them screen time. happy to see my boy jj happy and kie is getting back to her s1 roots which I'm ecstatic to see.

now to the other stuff...

The story this season is really interesting.

I like all the callbacks to s1. I like that the pogues feel like a true friend group again. I LOVED the way they have done group splits so far. each pogue has been split off with every other pogue! Also, I love that you can tell the pogues are experienced now. They are getting away with some much stuff that would have taken all of s1. If this really is their last season and they keep up the pace...dare I say this might be a hell of a way to close things out.

Topper is such a loser. no character arc just a simp who's butthurt and is all bark no bite. Hoping for less of him pls and thank you.

Sofia...STAND TF UP!! everyone in this goddamn town is money hungry. either be with Rafe or betray him just stop going back and forth.

John B having flashbacks about his dad is sad but realistic and I hope he comes out with a healthier mindset.

I had the strongest feeling he wasn't dead since one of TV's biggest rules is "no body, no death" meaning if we didn't see him get killed then he's not dead. But now he is so I hope he rests in peace.

JJ spending all the money pissed me off. Kie is becoming less annoying by becoming her s1 self again. JJ is also going back to his s1 roots but only to get on my nerves all over again! Like I love JJ and his story is now one of my favs but if he keeps f-ing up he might move down in my rankings.

speaking of jj...why is everybody getting mad at John B when JJ does someone wrong. and when decisions need to be made all the pressure is on John B. I get that he is the so-called leader of the group but leave my man be!

The JJSarah sibling storyline is still afoot! JJ now knows that his mom has passed and that Luke isn't his real father. But we still don't know who Sarah's mom is! They have been laying it on thick about family and being there for each other. Sarah was really intrigued by the Blackbeard research and seemed more distracted in some scenes than others. Plus Ward's favoritism to Sarah makes more sense if Sarah isn't his real child. Maybe he adopted the hidden second child from JJ's mother and raised her as his own. With JJ knowing his ancestry and now his real father maybe Chandler Groff will reveal to JJ that he had a twin sister that was taken before they found him and his dead mother so his dad doesn't even know who his missing sister is.

Maybe that's why Chandler Groff is getting his long-lost son into Blackbeard's treasure...to find his missing daughter.

This theory is so far-fetched but it's not impossible.

Rafe wanting to fix his family and reconcile with his sister has been a main point in the story as well and what is Rafe doing to "fix his family?" buying goat island which held the first piece of Blackbeard's treasure which is really JJ's treasure! JJ, Rafe, and Sarah are all connected just like that. Plus Chandler Groff looks a lot like Ward in some ways lol.

I was so scared for this season and though I'm not getting what I want ship wise the story has got me hooked.

SHIT I WOULD WANNA SEE IN A SOW REWRITE: a non exhaustive list in no particular order

(read more for length and generally being critical of SoW)

• give a name to more story relevant weapons. Voltar is cool, but I wanna know what are the names of Ingressus' kickass flame blade, and thalleous' sword, and Achillean's staff! Mostly cause I wanna refer to them more easily for Symbolism(tm)! ALSO an opportunity for Senn&Ria bonding over naming her spear!!

• SPEAKING OF SWORDS give thalleous' sword to Ria. NO HEAR ME OUT; she starts the story with her spear, sendaria burning, killing Tygren ect. When Tygren dies SHE gets the sword instead of Senn, and gives Senn her spear (from her point of view, she's giving back a weapon she trusted to protect herself, she's now protecting him and signaling that she trusts his craftsmanship. Subtextually it signify the rift that forms between them as she gets more into hunting Voltaris down and Senn gets closer to his heritage). She keeps using it throughout the story, culminating in attacking Senn with it when he surrenders in Northwind, which he deflects with the shield song like in canon. Anyways, Senn comes back from Hailstone, rejoins the group and Ria is happy but doesnt trust him the same until the Final Battle(tm). Some random element (doesn't matter what, were doing symbolism here) makes it that she loses/cannot use Thalleous' sword, at which point Senn gives/throws her her spear because PLOT TWIST: THE REAL SOLUTION WAS TO LET GO OF AN ARBITRARY SYMBOL OF STRENGHT AND INSTEAD PUT FAITH IN LOVE, TRUST AND FAMILY ALL ALONG, Pythus gets eviscerated, happy endings all around

• speaking of Ria, you might guess it from my last point but GIVE MY GIRL A CORRUPTION ARC. Gimme women's wrongs! Let me watch her go from 'i wanna be just like Thalleous (the cool ex-soldier with awesome stories)' to 'i wanna be just like Thalleous (the guy who threw a kid off a cliff)' and find herself on the way! I've heard people find her overpowered and honestly,,,, yeah kinda but idk how to fix that (also power scales aren't really real to me). You know what's real? CHARACTER ARCS. Plus free Senn angst and frankly I love that. SUBPOINT: could Herobrine be like,,, a character? You're telling me two major characters made a soul pact with a demon entity from another realm and that never paid off? What is Herobrine even gaining from this I MUST KNOW

• MAKE THALLEOUS A VILLAIN PROTAGONIST 2024 okay ik he kind of already is, and ik im basically Thalleous' number 1 hater, and ik this is my complicated relationship with my own father speaking BUT REGARDLESS. Have him do shady stuff before season 3 and just sliiiightly more often pls. Let him be a bit manipulative! Let him lie a bit more! Let him kill a disarmed opponent or strike someone in the back! Let him even be outwardly prejudiced a bit more openly. I'm not even gonna argue his responsibility in the Great War cause thats no the point but you can't tell me he isn't morally grey. Let that little bastard man shine! Honestly im (more than) a little disturbed by the narrative expecting me to a agree with a guy who preached genocide, after all we've seen him do (once again, the child yeeting wasn't great). Please just have someone tell Thalleous to fuck off. Please.

• ALMRAK SHOULD BE USING CRUTCHES OR A WHEELCHAIR INSTEAD OF A CANE. A CANE IS ACTUALLY MOST OFTEN USED FOR BALANCE ISSUES. THIS IS AN ABSENCE OF LEG ISSUE. That's it that's the point.

• ACTUALLY IM NOT DONE i find Almrak's entire character,,, strange. So the only visibly disabled character in the show is Voltari. Cool! He's the only Voltari portrayed sympathetically (Ingressus does not count, he's the main villain). Less cool! It's heavily implied the reason he's sympathetic is because he's disabled and therefore cannot fight (debatable. Give my man a crossbow). Pretty bad! I'm not physically disabled (diagnosed) myself but I am a Sufferer of some kind of chronic pain and autistic (and the mental Horrors), so idk how relevant my commentary is but there's a bunch of things I don't like here: 1) a disabled character can be optimistic for sure, I love that actually! I dont love how tied those two things are tho. Almrak is the only optimistic Voltari we meet, and while I like the trust he has in his people, his behaviour is oddly reminiscent of those inspiration porn video about how incredible it is that disabled people can be *gasp* happy. This also has the unfortunate implication that the only way a Voltari becomes trustworthy is by becoming/being made harmless? Which is kind of a reach but also tracks a little to much for comfort 2) his death (HE LIVES IN MY HEART, AND SO DOES DELTHEUS) but in canon he dies. And he does so without even really defending himself? Just lays there waiting for the sword? Not only does that seem weird at all (you have a CANE baby BEAT EM UP) it seems out of character for The Only Not Depressed Voltari to just,,, accept death. Mostly the narrative seems allergic to giving him agency. 3) he was created specifically to prove life for the Voltaris was hard (it's somewhere in the supplementals). First, do you think accidents don't happen in other Clans? Thats stupid. And second, ew. This, to me, shows that I'm supposed to look at Almrak, a character living his best life, hopeful for the future, reaping the benefits of a close knit community supporting and respecting him, and feel what, sadness? Pity? That seems incredibly disrespectful. And I say all that as an Almrak lover, he and Deltheus are among my fave. Now, thats a lot of issues but I feel like they could easily be fixed in 3 easy steps: 1) more rep. Just by adding a sprinkle of disability rep to the cast, Almrak stops sticking out like a sore thumb because he's disabled, and starts sticking out because he's a genuinely interesting character with a unique worldview. Wild i know. 2) LET HIM LIVE give him agency in this. Im not saying he should fistfight a Netheran, but let him try to flee or something. 3) now, disability can absolutely be caused by a hostile environment, there's nothing wrong with that. So my solution here wouldn't be to avoid that, but to show some other hardships as well? So it's not Just That? Like, idk, Deltheus remarking how much better the food is in Hailstone because Humans can stockpile and the Voltaris were starving before? Mentions of lacking medicine? Offhand mentions of dead family like they did for Thalleous and Galleous? Idk man, just dont let disability be the Worst Fate in your story. Please.

• Either more of the Necromancer Arc, or none at all. Listen, I love my cat girl necromancy as much as the next guy and Xaria is one of my favorite characters, but, as is, it feels disconnected from the rest of the show and not in a good way. I love the idea of having a more down to earth/everyday pov of the SGW but this Arc doesnt feel different enough to work for me. The characters arent in more danger or difficulties then in any other arc, they arent more developed (actually, kinda less. Why was Lucan in jail? why is Nikaa so anti necromancer? what even was the catalyst of the necromancer movement starting? i guess well never know those important character motivations), they don't really explore more down to earth stuff (human politics! survival in Ardonia during the War! maybe explore WHY people join factions like the Necromancer or the Legion!!) and, because SoW as a story is so focused on individual actions and heros, and the Arc offers neither those nor its own flavor, it ends up feeling pretty redundant, which is a shame. I guess a way to fix this would be to actually lean in to it's separate aspect and maybe focus on the building of a revolt against the Nether (and mayyyybe link that with what the necromancers had going on? maybe? Who am i kidding they'll never give my blorbos the love they deserve. Xan, Xaria, no one gets you like i do)

• I do not know how to fix the K'arthen arc. I do not know if the K'arthen arc can be fixed. To whomever is out there trying to fix the K'arthen arc: you are an endlessly brave individual and i send you power on this journey.

WoR is finished! I don't have a whole lot to say other than I enjoyed it! lol Disjointed out-of-order thoughts and reactions below the cut. TWoK ending is still TOP for me, but WoR ending was very satisfying too in a different way. Like letting go of a BIG SNEEZE (for me the big sneeze was Kaladin finally being his true self and not hiding anymore)

Honestly though this ending was kinda insane?! I'm looking at you, Adolin!

First of all, RIP TO A REAL ONE SADEAS. I LOVED YOU UNTIL THE VERY END, MY FAVORITE STYLISH REPRESSED EVIL GAY. You coulda lived if you'd followed Sebarial's hedonistic way of life, but you were too hyperfocused on Dalinar, I get it. And now ur dead smh. LOL but honestly what a stupid move on his part to lay out his plans like that right to Adolin's face IN A CORRIDOR WITH NO WITNESSES. Ok not stupid, bc he's talked shit about Dalinar in front of Adolin before but, this was just the last straw?! I GUESS? YOU CREATED A BLACKTHORNE JR CONGRATS

And, I doubt this will be the case, but a morally-gray-to-morally-bankrupt Adolin arc would obviously be my favorite thing ever and infinitely more interesting than another honorable character POV. But as that belongs to Moash (WHOMST I ADORE) and seeing as he is Dalinar "Live Laugh Honor" Kholin's son, right now I'm taking this as a moment that mirrors that of a younger reckless Dalinar. Regardless, I was Shook, lol.

Quick celebration/mention of these two bc I cannot deal with these divas. Was it absolutely ridiculous? YES, AND also right up my alley - which with Brandon's humor isn't always the case, lol.

How did I fare plot-wise? WELL, I WAS EVENTUALLY ABLE TO KEEP UP. I am wonky on some of the factions affecting change in the world atm. I made a very incorrect cheat sheet so I wouldn't forget everything whenever I get to the next book LOL

Gavilar's confusing me rn tbh and also Nin actually bc he straight-up gave Szeth his honorblade and made him a Skybreaker (I just shoved him in the Ghostbloods camp initially bc of him exacting revenge on Shardbearers but I don't think he's part of them exactly) soooooo ???? I am not sure what's going on there EXAAACTLY but I am loving the ride, safe to say, lol.

The novella is up next! It's such a cute and tiny tome to hold compared to the Monsters. I will say I am very pleased that the narrative still leans into the cheesy, earnest tone of TWoK, and while Kal will always be blorbo numero uno, all the major and minor characters are so compelling to me. I love every single one, actually, lmao. EVEN AMARAM. He's really drinking the kool-aid so I don't JUST despise him with the passion of a 1,000 burning suns anymore, now I feel PITY for him. It's great!

The action in these books is always so epic and in particular the scene with Szeth and Kaladin fighting in the storms, my thoughts couldn’t help but go to “DO THE DRAGON BALL Z FANS KNOW ABOUT THIS” hahaha and ofc I mean that in the best way. I feel like a little kid hyperfixating on power rangers when I read the Windrunner action.

If there's one thing I wish for it would be another main POV female character that is not part of the Kholin family. Funnily enough Veil does somewhat scratch this itch for me, considering it's... just Shallan LOL, but yeah. ANOTHER! I don't think we're diverting much from the current POVs we have though (besides the interludes and the brief POV switches within the main POVs), which is fine. SHOULD I DO A RANKING? ok! My number one is still The Way of Kings, so obvs, for now, that leaves Words of Radiance in second place. :)

saw art with a quote from a post about izzy, talking about how some people find it touching that he’s buried in the yard of the inn, but this person didn’t. it made them feel sick because he’s buried there like a dog. and just first of all yeah. at first it was touching to me bc of that sentiment that they’re keeping him near them, even in death, but the more i thought on it the more my stomach also churned.

i know djenks had the best intentions with how izzy’s character and arc were treated but jfc ya missed the mark. by a wide margin. like hello???? having the entire point of his arc in season two be discovering himself and growing into himself, hell even standing up for himself and letting himself hold on a little looser to his baggage and just put down the baggage he chose to carry on behalf of the man he loved only for him to die like an episode or two later. and the crew acts like nothing happened just. it doesnt sit right with me and it hasnt since the first time i saw it.

i know its for “plot” reasons, but there was no other way to convey any of this than maiming him like the family dog nobody actually likes??? like a grimy mutt?? without him LITERALLY DYING????????????????? AT THE VERY END OF THE SEASON??????? AND NOT EVEN HAVE THAT BE THE MAIN MESSAGE FOR THE REST OF THE EPISODE??? you had to stomp all over his dead body with a fucking wedding. yes yes good for lucius and pete i really do love them and i am happy for them, but its like they all just. moved on. and forgot about izzy. and trust me i am FULLY aware of how complex grief is, but still. it stings. it feels like its watering down the impact izzy had on everyone on the crew.

he and the kraken’s crew grew so close that they tried to keep him alive even tho they all knew if the kraken found out, they’d all be paying with blood. they MADE HIM. A PROSTHETIC. AND PAINTED IT. they cheered him on when he came out in drag and sang in fucking FRENCH!!!!!!! and then he dies and like 3 minutes later theres a wedding and another party. it feels tasteless. it feels demeaning.

and i 100% think djenks roped izzy and ed into the Bury Your Gays trope without thinking that through. elder queer man who is traumatized dozens of times over who just fucking came to terms with himself AND WHO JUST CONFESSED HIS LOVE TO EDWARD!!!! dies. shortly after that, timeline wise. thats the fucking trope. it’s literally right there.

AND THEN. they fucking bury him in the YARD. LIKE A DOG. in the far corner where they wont see it and be reminded of him every day. out of sight out of mind. they’ll move on and grow old together, blissfully happy, while izzy’s bones are the only thing left of the man who once was Israel Hands, First Mate to the legendary Blackbeard. he never got to have his mutual pining moment, he never got to find the true love of his life and grow old with them. he doesnt get to die fulfilled, with labored breaths, as old age takes him. he gets to sit and watch from the corner as ed and stede, his ex of sorts and the guy he replaced him with, live that happily ever after. he gets to sit in the corner like a bad dog and watch as these two get everything he ever wanted. just like the unwanted family pet.

it makes me ill. he deserved so much better. he deserves better than doggy heaven, he deserves better than being roped into the fucking Bury Your Gays trope too.

He has black nails but it's not emo!!! its from the demon 😈who's super evil (and there's a number 2 demon that looks like a weird spiky creature thing) but this demon basically looks like satan but not red, instead its blue and black. Jayden doesn't have real horns guys!! its part of his hair, he just got weird cowlicks man don't question it, it's just how asian hair be sometimes (I literally have a picture with cowlicks that look exactly like horns bro)

jayden is super happy all the time it's technically one of his flaws, he's a bit too trusting at times, he's had multiple bad experiences with people close to him, but he values honesty so much that he just assumes other people mean what they say. Nothing really brings him down, and he only gets serious when people close to him are at risk. you KNOW you messed up when he stops smiling lol. His hair is basic af idk why NO ONE can draw it istg its just an undercut that's kinda swept to the side! ngl I don't wanna explain much about him plot-wise so I'm keeping some stuff a secret until later.

His chinese name is 尊强 (zun qiang in mandarin pinyin) and it literally means "honour strong" and his last name is huang (like the colour) which is lowkey a basic af southern last name but it's literally a name in my family soooo... Jayden as his English name is just smth I made up cuz no one in the kingdom can say his name right let alone with correct tones. Speaking of southern he's from Zhongshan in Guangdong!! southern Chinese food SLAPS man I'm hungry just thinking about ittt also jayden is a massive foodie ofc he loves snacks and BOBA (the lore of the unreleased boba IV and I love anime girls gangster story goes crazy)

Family trauma also go crazy but again i dont wanna spoil but his dad and grandpa did some evil things... but somehow jayden pushes on? I'm literally the writer but his resilience surprises me sometimes bruh.

his story is kinda goofy (and by goofy I mean literal tragedy with a large dose of comedy) but like I GOTTA include the colourism and racism arcs bro the kingdom so mean to him for NO REASON

omg i forgot to mention Levels, he got a star in his eye bro, he's Level 10 he sees spirits real good. Also his eyebrows are goofy I know, but like... it's just an exaggeration, irl there are eyebrows with a sort of "tail" like that. he's really strong did I mention that yet? like even without powers, he's very skilled in combat that's why he's ripped lol, his sifu is literally based on a real sifu I've had before, sifu's also so silly!! i think it's so funny to have a character who looks tough but is super nice and not scary at all.

also he's got sharp upper canines, he literally looked demonic before the demon (there is an explanation for this but again no spoilers)

i gave him bellbottom pants cuz i like bellbottom pants. if anyone asks me why i chose specific fashion/clothes for characters ima just say "cuz I like it... lol"

also he's 19 although he acts quite young, it's just how he is.

he's kinda dumb but the reason for this is pretty sad (systemic issues go crazy) he just don't take in information that well and he just thinks in a very black and white way.

his biggest motivation gotta be JUSTICE (omg he's an SJW) what he cares about the most is that people get what they deserve, whether its good or bad. cuz he grew up poor even when his parents work hard, so he know what "unfair" means.

he's absolutely COVERED in scars (ngl thats my own stubbornness with details, I just can't stand it when mfs in shows get hurt and then a week later they're fine with no trace of injury???) he kinda throws himself into fights, obv he defends himself but he isn't afraid to take the force and not to mention he is very protective of others, so he'll get in the way of an attack just to save someone else or buy time.

his eyes (well.... one eye) are BLACK man they're not brown bro idk why people keep doing that "black eyes aren't real" idk if ppl colour his eyes with dark brown!! but his eyes aren't a medium brown, they're as close to black as possible! and his eyes arent slanted bro! his eyes just look like semicircles with the flat side on the bottom!

and idk why no one can draw his nose. his nose is STRAIGHT it don't curve down it don't curve up PLEASE just draw a straight nose!! and don't NOT draw his lips man... i hate to see it bro, it just looks ODD, it's like whitewashing but without the white IDK how to describe it. ain't NOBODY can draw his side profile correctly man, whitewashing of his side profile is even WORSE. like he don't have a nose that stick out that much man, you cant just slap a generic anime side profile on him and expect it to work. i see SO many people who cant draw east asians man, like GO OUTSIDE I sort of get it for people who live in places with like zero east asians, but a lot of people who have drawn my OCs live in like California?? idk man, but if you cant draw east asians, either learn how to do so or don't draw jayden

and his skin colour... bro it's like hot chocolate (yes I know its a little weird to compare skin colour to food, but it's the easiest way for me to tell people and what other people have told me his skin looks like) so PLEASE don't lighten it OR darken it! I've gotten a piece of fanart where he is literally super dark brown. like LOOK AT MY REF!! and I see SO many people who draw his skin really desaturated. I'm not asking people to draw his skin like the super saturated orange that I use, but you gotta have some colour man!

kinda turned into a rant but i have so much to say man I LOVE rambling about my characters. also jayden's eyes... another thing I see wrong has to do with how much eye whites are showing. when he has a neutral expression, there is no visible eye whites above or below his iris! his iris takes up a lot of his eye! when ppl draw his irises small af (or give him "dead eyes") it don't look like him! he also got the little fat under the eyes it makes him look like he's smiling I love it

jayden def lives in the moment. he's never too worried about the future or super anxious about things. he's just a chill guy lol. also his attention span is non existent if it's not about things he's interested in. he's not too shy usually, but he is quite shy with people he likes.

he initially was scared by the prince and thought he was gonna be a bad person, but turns out the prince just CLUELESS and very soon after they've been on "friendly relations" if you know what I mean lol. he gives up a little too much for the people close to him, it's quite a flaw that he wouldn't even hesitate to get hurt for the sake others, he never thinks about himself enough. speaking of, ofc he basically let himself get stabbed cuz to him, he'd rather lose an eye than for the prince to even get a papercut.

his relationships with other characters is either silly and happy or extremely serious and begrudging in a way that actually really impacts the plot

- ok so after the first date (which goes surprisingly well), you start hanging around the precinct more, and at first Connie and Sasha are ELATED because you didn't do it that often before jean. like they didn't realise that it was because you wanted to see him, sasha was just happy that you'd bring mid-day coffee to her and Connie was happy to just rant to you about how "no-one here trusts me ugh" (he's like a mix of Gina and Charles istg) and ur like mhm yeah it's totally not because you file your paperwork wrong everytime. totally, king. MHM.

- and jean usually grabs some lunch outside (which you notice!) and at this point you're not in an Established Relationship, aka you haven't had the "what are we" talk yet so it's mainly just you guys hanging out. right and eren recognises you and like jokes around with you and it pisses jean off SO BAD and eren (the little shit) KNOWS THAT. so he's just trying to get under jeans skin. and you become like this unofficial part of the family :3

- which, by the way, let's do this. who's who. Reiner is the sarge (yes he goes with the suspenders and yes eren and Connie objectify him because of his boobs). Connie and Sasha are partners because they work really well together since the beginning of Time and they're also really good at acting so they get assigned alot of undercovers. CAPTAIN LEVI it's in the name guys c'mon. hange is the autopsy..person. idk the actual name of it. but you get it. Erwin is Levi's husband and it's the whole arc of them basically adopting the precinct :) Mikasa and Armin are partners, jean and eren are also partners (most of the times) because they also work really well together. jean applied to be a lieutenant but that comes way later in the story. so hang on. for rn, tho, Armin is the lieutenant, and marco is the office assistant. ANYWAY

- right so. uhhh cue the Thanksgiving shenanigans. Levi (begrudgingly) invites the whole squad + hange, and asks everyone to bring your own dish. here's what happened

- jean is the first one to arrive at your place (for no reason, haha) and you're like "oh good ur here Im babyproofing the apartment just in case." and he doesn't question it and just helps you and tells you about his Thanksgiving stories thoughout the years and you guys connect alot and he opens up alot too :3

-anuway. HALLOWEEN HEIST IS ALSO REAL AND IT HAPPENS. and you participate. the first year is pretty mild for you, you're jeans accomplice as he tries to beat eren's team to steal the captain's cup of tea. and it's a whole Thing and you do the thing you do best - distract the captain. again, surprisingly, you get him to open up a little while jean gets in through the office's ceiling and you're talking to the captain, sweating, "oh yeah no, totally, the DMV is crazy....MHM!! the lines were so bad when I went last." anyway. at the end, eren and jean are tied, back to back to a chair while the captain (very menacingly) asks them if they're proud of what they accomplished. turns out the captain won. (i have headcanons for this too but this post is becoming too long so,,)

- enough about the squad, more about you and jean. right, so soon after Thanksgiving, the two of you finally have The Talk. after a particularly long day at the precinct, jean is slumped over his desk doing paperwork and everyone has almost already left. Connie had come over to ur place to tell you about the shitty day he had, and you fed him some dinner after that, and he fell asleep on your couch while watching a show (not an uncommon occurence) and his situation got you thinking about jean. you usually tried not to bother jean too much by sending too many messages or calling a lot, so he knows it's important when he gets a call from you. and he takes a break from work and answers and he swears you breathe life into him after he hears you ask him how he's doing. he tells you that "these muscles aren't for nothing" which gets a sigh and a laugh in return. "how long are you gonna stay at the precinct?" you ask him. "i don't know, the works never ending." he says and you've already made up your mind, taking a Tupperware of the dinner you had made, along with a thermos of coffee and head on over to the place. when you're downstairs, you call jean again and tell him to come down too and he's like "what are you doing here holy shit it's late" and you're like "yeah I could tell u the same thing. i got u sum food open up slut" and he leads you to the balcony to get some fresh air while eating (also because if he were to spill even a morsel of food on his desk after the cleaning crew had gone home, the captain would have his head on a plate. anyway. the terrace/balcony. do u see the parallels.

and you and jean get to talking, you tell him about your day and then are like "I'm sorry if I'm distracting you." "no I like the distraction. i don't mind it." and you smile but then just come out and say it "hey so what are we?" and jeans like "??? have I not asked u to be my partner yet?" and you decide to tease him a bit and are like "partner? are u recruiting me to be a detective?" "no! i mean, if that's what...your passion is, then yes, but please be safe. oh ur fucking with me. okay." and u laugh and kiss him on the cheek and he's like "no that's not gonna cut it" and then he grabs your face (GENTLY) and kisses you so softly and helplessly that you're glad he's holding your face otherwise your bones would've just fallen to the ground without structure.

i saw your tags and... what are your thoughts on film théoden pls share!

Hi omg thank you for asking! It's been a minute since I've read the books so bear with me haha but I'll try my best to explain.

For me at least, it seems apparent that Theoden in the book is a humble king, he's not all that proud or greedy like many of the other ones. His role is essentially some form of peacemaker, he has no problem with Rohan's alliance with Gondor and doesn't hold Denethor's stewardship (or the long-dead history of the West Fold for that matter) against them.

Now while I don't have anything against film Theoden, I think he's definitely one of the characters whose book-to-film differences are overlooked the most. While he loves his family very dearly and evidently cares for his people, there is very much a sense of pride there especially when it comes to being at Gondor's aid, let alone taking advice from someone like Aragorn, who regardless of being an heir, seemingly can only sway Theoden with reason if at all. (Hence "Theoden not Aragorn is king of Rohan") And in this, it seems he was written as more of an ignorant ruler in some capacity despite being just, in order to naturally shine some light on Aragorn's leadership skills and create a more significant arc for him— which, in my opinion, fell a bit flat in the books by comparison. And I could get into Aragorn in the books vs the movies but I won't because that is a different conversation entirely.

The glaringly obvious difference of course is his relationship dynamic with Merry in the books is moreso handed over to Eowyn in the films. While I actually like this change (simply because it makes their relationship stronger and his death more meaningful) I can see how Merry would become a sort of second image of Theodred, and Merry's self-worth and character arc naturally going into that as well. I like how in the films Theoden wanted so badly for Eowyn to be happy because that was somewhat present in the book, but it was really emphasized in the films that her being a lady, as well as being strong, did not have to replace her happiness.

What I do like about Theoden in the film, is obviously his emotion and strife, and his willingness to do what he deems best for his people (even if it isn't always right I actually like that he makes mistakes). Also, Peter Jackson evidently took the time to highlight these mistakes and his self-identity/the weight of his responsibility being a more prominent aspect of his character, which I really liked too. Especially because in the fatherly sense, we don't really get to see much of that aspect of The War Of The Ring, how Sauron is ripping families apart and putting so much pressure onto rulers and such, but I especially like how we get to see that on a very deep and personal level with Theoden, because that is one thing I think the book did not possess, and while it is certainly different and definitely not perfect, I do actually appreciate it.

I'm so happy I make one chapter just for fun I didn't expect to get a question so I'm so happy you're asking all this and don't worry I ramble too

And let's just say there's always going to be lore hidden somewhere within each of these chapters you just got to find it, some of them will be a bit more lore heavy than others but I will always try my hardest to put small clues into each chapter when it comes to the lore

Anyway here are the answers to some of these questions

When it comes to Viva referring to Branch's family as "that family" that is going to be important because of the dynamic between her and Poppy vs branch and his brothers, (specifically for her Arc) She finds their relationship very sweet because she fails to notice the toxicity of her relationship with Poppy and the relationship between the brozone Bros. (I mean why would she notice it she's friends with Clay after all they have very similar mindsets)

Branch doesn't notice how people react to his brothers just yet because we're still in his childhood phase but he will notice it as he gets older and reminisces about the past

Ask for how trolls interact with the brozone Bros let's just say I have a few fun ideas for how brozone uses their power on the tribe before they leave (cuz currently they're still inside the troll tree)

Viva and Pepe will be there when Poppy finally gets a chance to talk to branch but that doesn't mean that she won't feel uncomfortable with having her family watching them (one cares about Branch, the other one obsessively thinks he's adorable, and Poppy just wants a friend)

As for Branch being immune to viva's power that's actually a point in the story that I want to dive into a little more, because Poppy and Viva have very similar powers however the way that they use them will be different thanks to branches influence. Viva's power is specifically to Make Trolls Happy which can be a good thing but at the same time can be seen as a toxic trait similar to toxic positivity, Poppy's power on the other hand is a bit different but I'm going to keep it a secret for now

At first Brozone genuinely don't even realize when branch is being immune to their powers because their baby brother is so innocent and sweethearted how could they notice, it's only when other trolls Powers don't work on him do they realize something's up (on the other hand, trolls who are better at observing others like their grandma, Poppy, and Creek for example do notice something up with Branch whenever it comes to their powers they just choose not to say anything because it's not hurting anyone, and because of their own personal curiosity)

Here's a little bit of my own info dump

So when brozone does find out about branches little immunity to other powers at first they're shocked and genuinely don't believe Viva when she tells them at first but when it starts to affect their lives that's when they see this as a problem, but rather than blaming Viva for it they actually ask her how in the world did it happen did they trigger this, to figure out how they can work around it not realizing that they can't

Branch being immune to other people's powers isn't a superpower that he has (remember branch is the only one born without powers even those that negate other trolls Powers he doesn't have that), it's just Branch showing his true colors in his own way without even realizing it. I plan on explaining it in a future post and in the story

I plan on explaining viva's power a bit more in the story itself alongside the bro zone Powers and a few other characters who play an important role in Branch's story

Ask for King Pepe well he's not a terrible father I'm just going to make this clear now but he does have his moments of being not the best, for clarification when he tries his hardest to be a good dad he ends up failing one of his kingly duties but when he tries to be a good King he ends up failing as a father and unfortunately he can't seem to find a good work around and it's not exactly his fault I mean anyone would struggle to be a good dad and a good King in his position
