Undercover Challenge 🕵️

Hey everyone, I’m back with another monthly challenge! For the months of March AND April, I am formally challenging any willing writer to take a stab at writing fanfiction including someone undercover using their choice of Criminal Minds characters! Reader, Original Character, Character/Character ships, Gen/Platonic fics are allowed! Please check out the Rules below the Keep Reading.

General Prompts 🔍

Characters go undercover as a married couple.

A goes undercover as an escort to gain intel on B.

A feigns distress while undercover and is surprised when B saves them.

A goes undercover as a sex worker. B is shocked by their sexual persona.

Halloween masks offer the perfect opportunity to snoop on your coworkers.

A is excelling at their undercover work... until B shows up, also undercover.

Character goes undercover to a mystic who immediately identifies them as a spy.

A struggles with the more psychopathic aspects of their undercover work. B doesn't.

Character becomes close with their agent handler... they've never felt so cared for before.

Character is an investigative journalist trying to learn about the inner workings of the BAU.

It would be a lot easier to pretend if Character wasn't actually in love with their partner.

A thinks they've successfully tricked B... when B leans forward and speaks directly into their wire.

Character is surprised when their undercover partner is very good at pretending to be in love with them.

A becomes worries when B gets injured on an undercover mission that they were supposed to go on instead.

Character goes undercover as a stripper. This is how everyone learns they already knew how to pole dance.

Characters are both undercover, but think the other is in the organization they're investigating. They learn nothing.

I cannot believe I still have to address this in the big 25. But here I am.

A recent fic of mine, toxic Ellie x Virgin Reader, has been bringing controversy in my own replies? No, you will not find any comments, I deleted them because this is my blog. Anyways, we are all adults here. If you’re not, it is not my job to parent you or be responsible for you on an internet website. And as adults, we should be able to separate fantasy from reality. Again, if you can’t do that, I am not responsible for you on an internet website. Let me inform you guys of something, Tumblr is an anti-censorship platform. Tumblr will not take down or be against anything I write as long as I am properly promoting it. All my fics are properly tagged and warned. So you are quite literally wasting your time on my page for no reason. Frankly, get the fuck off Tumblr if you are pro-censorship. Censorship is a far right-wing talking point, so it’s embarrassing most of you pretend to be progressive.

Next, I do not promote the stuff I write about. It’s not real. Yes, it is gross, it is inhumane. Life is often gross and inhumane. Fantasy exploring that which is gross and inhumane is nothing new. Just because it is written from a perspective of glorification does not mean you are supposed to interpret it that way. Authors do not owe you labels of bad™️ and good™️. You should have your own moral compass to acknowledge writing something does not mean promoting it. And truthfully, I want to know where what you consider eligible to be written about or what isn’t eligible comes from. You’re okay with murder, burglary, kidnapping, etc to be written about and enjoyed yet you condemn anything that leaves your viewpoints? Again, right-wing talking point. Who is to decide what is wrong or right enough to be written about? It’s a slippery slope as most would describe it.

Next, people are not voluntary in what they get turned on by on paper. Fantasies and kinks people like to read about can form from trauma/repressed trauma responses, intrusive thoughts, and mere human reactions. Someone quite literally told me it’s the same as cutting and this is what I’m talking about. You are incapable of separating real from fake. Cutting is real, it’s physical, and you can physically and mentally be affected by it. Fantasy is not the same. Authors are not responsible for your triggers. Get offline, find real help, and stop blaming others for what they can not handle about yourself. And if you truly hate what dark content creators write about, block them. Your lack of fandom etiquette is showing. Anywho, this is it for now but I’ll probably add some edits later.

I feel like I want to talk about the Wilbur Soot situation, now that he's made a response (I'm not calling it an apology because quite frankly, it wasn't)

I haven't been into MCYT for a while, but Wilbur Soot was one of my comfort streamers during COVID. I was a huge fan of his music and Lovejoy. But I cannot and will not support an abuser. I appreciate he's getting therapy, but his statement shows he is downplaying what occurred and is not taking accountability for his actions.

I am not very familiar with Shubble, but I wish them the absolute best. The same goes for anyone Wilbur may have abused and manipulated, whether it was in a romantic relationship or a platonic one. I get a feeling we will hear more about that soon.

And I also wish the best to Wilbur. Yes, he has done horrible things and should not be supported financially, but portraying abusers as evil monsters is not helpful when discussing abuse. This mindset makes it seem as though someone who has done good things and is "good" at heart cannot be abusive.

I hope Wilbur remains in therapy and takes care of his mental health. It's no secret he's struggled with depression and something like this could exacerbate it greatly. Hes spoken personally and in his music about the harm fame has done to him and his poor mental health, so I think right now it would best for him to step back from content creation and truly work on helping himself become better.

I did some spur of the moment sketch requests over on Twitter last night! I was having fun playing with a new brush. I asked for characters or ships people wanted to maybe see me tackle after I did Whispangle.

“you’ve been enjoying yourself” i’d say as i undress and put my bag away. “have you been a good pet for me while i’ve been at work?”

you’d nod and nod desperately, needing release so so so badly.

“well i’m not so sure. a good pet should know better than to make such a mess of their owners bed at work.”

you’d whine so loudly, practically pleading with your entire body to finally be able to cum.

i’d walk to the bed, sitting around the mess you’ve made for me.

“well, i guess i should’ve know better than to trust a pet to have the mind of a person after all. truly nothing behind those eyes except the need to be bred, hm? and look how wet you’ve gotten for me!”

your eyes have never been wider, a thousand yard stare as i finally start to touch my pet. i gently touch at your thigh, no where near where you want- NEED- me to touch you.

you eyes start to get even blanker, as your practically foaming at the mouth for the slightest touch from your owner.

Scythes and Mimics

In 2021, I had a dream where I was a Shadowhunter helping out Clary Fairchild as we hunted down a strange shapeshifting demon. Clary ended up beheading a clone of herself, with a badass scythe.

So, I drew an interpretation of the scene. And then, last year, I redrew that picture, and posted it to my DeviantArt. But I figured I should bring some of my DA art over here, so here we are.

I'll never understand why people hated this feud when we got LA Knight gagged and strapped to a chair with a shredded shirt, I mean.... 🤷‍♀️

the difference between good whispangle and bad whispangle is the difference between trusting each other the most and only trusting each other. between getting stuck in the past or letting the future embrace you. between holding a close bond and being desperate for each other’s company. between being a pair and being a unit.

good whispangle is tangle helping whisper stay in the present and future, and whisper being a guiding hand, a steadying of tangle’s impulse, and the both of them making choices that help and comfort the other.

bad whispangle is tangle getting dragged into dwelling on the past with whisper, is tangle being made to overstep instead of minding the lines she should be able to see, and whisper sinking into a mire that tangle follows her into instead of pulling her from. is putting them together ‘because they’re whispangle’ and forgetting why they were loved together in the first place. is keeping them together because they’re whispangle, even when they trod on the other.

and the difference is,

that if it starts out bad and becomes better, it’s satisfying, heartening.

but to start out excellent and then get worse and decay, feels like a smear or a stain on top of a beloved work.

a natural decay can be done, but we want them to be good together, to bring out the best in each other instead of enabling the worst. if we want to see decay, it is because it makes sense for one or both of them to be driven off-balance and start messing with the other, we want one or both of them to realize this, and we want them to have to jump-start and kick aside and course-correct and come out all the better, for having broken their flaws open and mended them with gold.

we don’t want to see them broken apart and stuck back together with cheap glitter glue.

this is such a long shot so i don't expect to get any replies, but would anyone happen to have any footage/audio of robert sean leonard's performance as hardold hill in the music man? he played the part for a couple months in 2001, iirc. there are only two short clips on youtube, and i can find nothing anywhere else. if anyone happens to be sitting on any material/knows where i can find it, please direct me there!

Ooooooooh boy, here we go! I said I'd draw and color in a Hatter, and so I did! I never said that it was going to be a happy piece ;3 (hey, even I'm capable of angst at times) so here's Jervis having a not-so-fun time. (My first ever semi-scene even!)

The reason Scarecrow (figure on the right) has "HATE" written on it is because I couldn't think of what Scarecrow's symbol would be, plus it's a mention to "the incident" that happened between Crane and Tetch that we don't know much about. (But all we know is it was messy!)

Also the masks under the figures are a nod to froot-batty's Mad Hatter tea party pic, where Eddie and Jon are wearing masks!

Anywho, I'm super proud of this, the background may not be fully colored in but it was fun!

A better view of the full thing, since I did have to break out the big sketchbook for this one.

All of these amazing designs (Jervis, Edward, Jonathan, and the Alice) belong to the awesome @froot-batty! I really hope I did your Hatter (and everyone else) justice ;3

I've been watching What If...? with my dad because he's invested and I like watching things with him and it's. hmm. I'm not going to talk about plot, or the fact that there's a non-zero chance my dad picked up on the queer (lol) when I was complaining they can't make Hela not goth. Instead, what's been standing out to me is how many of these ministories are like. Focused on women and/or minority characters.

Like, the one episode is about a new character named Kahori who's an indigenous woman of the Mohawk nation in the 1500s who gets supercharged by the tesseract and stops colonialism by beating up the Spanish. Great concept, and it was mostly in the Mohawk language in collaboration with Mohawk creators, which was really cool. I think that's a cool story for them to have told. However, I'm also a little annoyed that the only place we can really get stories like these is in What If...? The MCU is such a cultural juggernaut, and yet they are only recently starting to tell stories led by women and minorities. And the fact that What If...? is adding so much complexity to women and letting people who aren't allowed to be focal characters take the stage is frustrating to me.

Because, on the one hand, it's good that we get these stories, and that there are a few episodes discussing female friendship and trying to show minority perspectives that really haven't been seen in the rest of the MCU. But on the other hand, it's really highlighting how pathetic a lot of the rest of the Marvel properties are at things like having two women onscreen at once and giving them motivations besides "hot and deadly." Marvel is willing to tell these stories, but only in the What If...? world where they're not going to be taken seriously and will absolutely have no effect on the wider MCU. They get to wave at these stories and be like "See? We can do it!" without having to actually commit to anything.

And it's really frustrating to watch.

Elseworlds style stories are great for exploring concepts like "what if everyone was a vampire" and "zombies." and "what if Superman landed in Soviet Russia" and the fact that Marvel's idea of a wild, world-breaking thing to do that would not be sustainable in the main universe is women being real people is, uh, not a great look

❝You draw too much attention with those,❞ WHUMPER hissed as they stood outside the cell.

The cell door clicked open, and WHUMPER entered the cell, grabbing WHUMPEE by the wrist. WHUMPEE barely reacted to the action, limp as they were dragged out of the cell. They did not even have the energy to fight back even if they wanted. WHUMPEE's arm burned as it was pulled across the hard stone ground, with stray rocks stabbing them in the ribs.

Scars and bruises covered their body as a constant reminder of what happened in the past when they tried to fight back. Their deprived and starved form was not hard to move around due to the lack of weight. They let out a couple sounds of pain from their dry throat that ached with each soft sound that escaped their cut-up lips.

WHUMPEE was tossed forward into an empty room with nothing but a dirty floor. WHUMPER locked the door behind them, crouching down to WHUMPEE. They grabbed them by their hair, yanking their head onto their lap. WHUMPEE just whimpered silently as they watched WUMPER with wide eyes.

WHUMPER pulls out a jagged knife, pressing it against the base of WHUMPEE's right ear, "I've been meaning to remove these eyesores. You do not deserve any extra attention."

WHUMPEE feels their heart drop as they used some of the last strength they had to struggle. They did not want to even think of what WHUMPER had planned let alone feel it in action. WHUMPER clicked their tongue as they wrapped their free hand around WHUMPEE's neck, just enough to prevent movement.

The knife slowly was dragged upwards on the edge of WHUMPEE's ear, making them shake violently. WHUMPER grinned as they applied some pressure on the knife. It slowly started to break through the flesh, WHUMPEE shutting their eyes tightly. Tears started to burn in their eyes but they tried to blink them back. WHUMPEE did not want to give WHUMPER the satisfaction of seeing them cry.

WHUMPER starts to pull the knife back and forth through the flesh, using it as some sort of saw on their ear. The blood began to soak the side of WHUMPEE's head, dripping down the neck. WHUMPEE shifted and squirmed only to let out sounds of pain since WHUMPER would apply more pressure to the knife with every movement.

Once WHUMPER was done with the first ear, WHUMPEE's neck was stained with blood, and the top of their shirt had some red stains as well. WHUMPER pulled the remains left off, wiping the blood off their hand onto WHUMPEE's shirt.

"Stop fighting me, you're just making it harder for both of us," WHUMPER grumbled as they moved WHUMPEE to access the next ear. WHUMPEE was crying from the pain, on the verge of blacking out from the blood loss. As WHUMPER began on the next ear, WHUMPEE could feel their stomach twisting as their vision blurred. WHUMPER had barely broken through the outside of the ear with the knife when WHUMPEE passed out. from the pain and blood loss.

WHUMPEE woke up in their cell, clothes, and neck still covered in their dry blood. They reached up to their ears, with some effort. Their ears were rounded, the flesh still bleeding out slightly and raw. Tears were already streaming down their cheeks as they processed the information.

Their stomach flipped as they curled up, hands grasping at their ears. The bile clawed up their throat, their mouth-watering. They tried to keep their mouth shut, refusing to let the bubbling liquid out of their mouth. But the feeling of fresh blood staining their fingers made them gag, and they lost the battle.

The bile slipped out their mouth, coating the ground in a clear white liquid. They hacked it up for a minute, leaving them curled up holding their stomach. Not only did their ears hurt but now their stomach ached. Their head was rested against the wall, smearing some blood on the crumbled stone wall.
