Op zaterdag 14 september 2024 starten we weer met een serie West-Afrikaanse Djembé van 10 Djembé lessen in Hoofddorp “de Ark”, Muiderbos 36 in Hoofddorp. Ben je ook gefascineerd door de opzwepende ritmes van West-Afrikaanse muziek? Wil je jezelf onderdompelen in de rijke cultuur en tradities van dit prachtige continent? Dan hebben wij goed nieuws voor jou. Maak kennis met de meesterdrummer Patrick Ngambi uit Kameroen, die vanaf zaterdag 14 september 2024 Djembélessen zal geven in Hoofddorp. Patrick Ngambi heeft jarenlange ervaring in het lesgeven en is tevens de leider van de Djembé Band 'Zamana'. Djembélessen zijn niet zomaar muzieklessen. Het is een ervaring die je meeneemt op een reis door de Afrikaanse ritmes en melodieën. Leer de magie van het Djembéspel, ontdek nieuwe vaardigheden en maak kennis met gelijkgestemde mensen die dezelfde passie delen. Met onze lessen krijg je niet alleen de kans om een nieuwe vaardigheid te leren, maar ook om jezelf te ontwikkelen op persoonlijk vlak. Djembéspelen gaat namelijk verder dan alleen het bespelen van een trommel. Het gaat om verbinding maken met anderen, luisteren naar elkaar en samen mooie muziek maken. Onze lessen worden gegeven door een ervaren en gepassioneerde docent die je zal begeleiden op je muzikale reis. Patrick Ngambi brengt zijn kennis en ervaring over op een inspirerende en uitdagende manier, zodat jij het beste uit jezelf kunt halen. Twitter does fascinate me, because I feel like tumblr has been a lot more accepting of people who draw women with big boobs, who draw adult art on the side, and who aren't afraid of being sensual and intimate.

But twitter seems to be actively terrified of anything that could turn them on. For years I've been harassed for my art. Way back in 2020 I was called out for "sexualizing" Ankha, but this was the image they were referring to.

This fear of adult works and porn has to end man. Queer artists shouldn't be harassed or labeled as bad, untrustworthy people because they want to draw women with curves or big chests, or draw some NSFW art on the side.

I don't think that making or using AI art/image generation is morally wrong, as you guys know, but I have to admit that slotting a wibbly-lined low effort image selected from the first result set from Midjourney in your content is incredibly tacky. At least select something that looks good. Maybe something without the boring AI "sheen" look either.

You see this a lot in clickbaity content like web spam and youtube shorts attempting to algorithm game.

I see a lot of comments and posts from some people on Twitter, TikTok, etc., saying and belittling Caitlyn's trauma by saying that she is an adult and rich. Even if she lived a relatively quiet life, she always felt different when she was young, or as Cait said to Jayce in episode 2, she was "Misfit Too".

And let's not forget that in just two or three days she went through the worst experience in her life because of Jinx who kidnapped and tried to kill her several times.

But aside from all this there is an important thing, why are they comparing her loss to the loss of Vi and Jinx, I mean what is the point of this!? To say that Cait is overreacting to the death of her mother or her people.

They are really crazy. Every character in Arcane has suffered in some way and we can't diminish any of them, like when I see people comparing Vi and Jinx's suffering and saying Jinx suffered more or the opposite, all this is to diminish a character you don't like. Especially since these comparisons are unnecessary and not the purpose of the show!!

I get really annoyed when some fans do this to a lot of the shows and movies I watch. Seriously what the hell is the point of this?
