Wolfsbane flower meaning is associated with misanthropy, caution and even death. So, even though this flower is beautiful, it is not recommended to give this flower to someone
#was actually looking for info on leopards bane.#confusingly the terms wolfs and leopards appear to be sometimes used for the same plant#though am pretty sure they're distinct and not closely related

Kingdom of Ash Chapters 46-47
He didn't see Lysandra. Aelin made no appearances, either.
The queen had abandoned them, the soldiers muttered Aedion made sure to shut down the talk. Had snarled that the queen had her own mission to save their asses, and if she wanted Erawan to know about it, she would have announced it to them all, since they were so inclined to gossip. It eased the discontent-barely.
Aelin had not defended them with her fire, had left them to be butchered.
The Bane began striking their swords against their shields. A steady heartbeat to override the vibrations of the Morath soldiers marching toward them.
He had not prepared a speech to rally them. A speech would not keep these men from dying today.
So Aedion drew the Sword of Orynth, hefted his shield, and joined the Bane's steady beat. Conveying all the defiance and rage in his heart, he clashed the ancient sword against the dented, round metal. Rhoe's shield. Aedion had never told Aelin. Had wanted to wait until they returned to Orynth to reveal that the shield he'd carried, had never lost, had belonged to her father. And so many others before that. It had no name. Even Rhoe had not known its age. And when Aedion had spirited it away from Rhoe's room, the only thing he grabbed when the news came that his family had been butchered, he had let the others forget about it, too. Even Darrow had not recognized it. Worn and simple, the shield had gone unnoticed at Aedion's side, a reminder of what he'd lost. What he'd defend to his final breath.
Chaos reigned.
Aedion roared from somewhere, from the heart of hell, "Re-form the lines!" The order went ignored.
The Bane tried and failed to hold the line.
Ansel of Briarcliff bellowed to her fleeing men to get back to the front, Galan Ashryver echoing her commands to his own soldiers. Ren shouted to his archers to remain, but they too abandoned their posts.
Lysandra slashed through the shins of one Morath soldier, then ripped the throat from another. None of Terrasen's warriors remained a step behind her to decapitate the fallen bodies.
No one at all.
Over. It was over.
Useless, Aedion had called her.
Lysandra gazed toward the ilken feasting on the right flank and knew what she had to do.
The queen has come. The queen is at the front line.
For a foolish heartbeat, he scanned the sky for a blast of flame.
None came.
Dread settled into his heart, fear deeper than any he'd known.
The queen is at the front line—at the right flank.
Lysandra.
Lysandra had taken on Aelin's skin.
He whirled toward the nonexistent right flank.
Just as the golden-haired queen in borrowed armor faced two ilken, a sword and shield in her hands.
No.
The word was a punch through his body, greater than any blow he'd felt.
Aedion began running, shoving through his own men. Toward the too-distant right flank. Toward the shape-shifter facing those ilken, no claws or fangs or anything to defend her beyond that sword and shield.
No.
He pushed men out of the way, the snow and mud hindering each step as the two ilken pressed closer to the shifter-queen.
Savoring the kill.
But the soldiers slowed their fleeing. Some even re-formed the lines when the call went out again. The queen is here. The queen fights at the front line.
Exactly why she had done it. Why she had donned the defenseless, human form.
No.
The ilken towered over her, grinning with their horrible, mangled faces.
Too far. He was still too damn far to do anything—One of the ilken slashed with a long, clawed arm.
Her scream as poisoned talons ripped through her thigh sounded above the din of battle.
She went down, shield rising to cover herself.
He took it back.
He took back everything he had said to her, every moment of anger in his heart.
Aedion shoved through his own men, unable to breathe, to think.
He took it back; he hadn't meant a word of it, not really.
Lysandra tried to rise on her injured leg. The ilken laughed.
"Please," Aedion bellowed. The word was devoured by the screams of the dying. "Please!" He'd make any bargain, he'd sell his soul to the dark god, if they spared her.
He hadn't meant it. He took it back, all those words.
Useless. He'd called her useless. Had thrown her into the snow naked.
He took it back.
Aedion sobbed, flinging himself toward her as Lysandra tried again to rise, using her shield to balance her weight.
Men rallied behind her, waiting to see what the Fire-Bringer would do. How she'd burn the ilken. There was nothing to see, nothing to witness. Nothing at all, but her death.
Yet Lysandra rose, Aelin's golden hair falling in her face as she hefted her shield and pointed the sword between her and the ilken. The queen has come; the queen fights alone. Men ran back to the front line. Turned on their heels and raced for her.
Lysandra held her sword steady, kept it pointed at the ilken in defiance and rage. Ready for the death soon to come.
She had been willing to give it up from the start. Had agreed to Aelin's plans, knowing it might come to this. One shift, one change into a wyvern's form, and she'd destroy the ilken. But she remained in Aelin's body. Held that sword, her only weapon, upraised. Terrasen was her home. And Aelin her queen. She'd die to keep this army together. To keep the lines from breaking. To rally their soldiers one last time.
Her leg leaked blood onto the snow, and the two ilken sniffed, laughing again. They knew— what lurked under her skin. That it was not the queen they faced. She held her ground. Did not yield one inch to the ilken, who advanced another step.
For Terrasen, she would do this. For Aelin.
He took it back. He took it all back.
Aedion was barely a hundred feet away when the ilken struck. He screamed as the one on the left swept with its claws, the other on the right lunging for her, as if it would tackle her to the snow.
Lysandra deflected the blow to the left with her shield, sending the ilken sprawling, and with a roar, slashed upward with her sword on the right. Ripping open the lunging ilken from navel to sternum. Black blood gushed, and the ilken shrieked, loud enough to set Aedion's ears ringing. But it stumbled, falling into the snow, scrambling back as it clutched its opened belly. Aedion ran harder, now thirty feet away, the space between them clear. The ilken who'd gone sprawling on the left was not done. Lysandra's eye on the one retreating, it lashed for her legs again.
Aedion threw the Sword of Orynth with everything left in him as Lysandra twisted toward the attacking ilken. She began falling back, shield lifting in her only defense, still too slow to escape those reaching claws. The poison-slick tips brushed her legs just as his sword went through the beast's skull. Lysandra hit the snow, shouting in pain, and Aedion was there, heaving her up, yanking his sword from the ilken's head and bringing it down upon the sinewy neck. Once. Twice.
The ilken's head tumbled into the snow and mud, the other beast instantly swallowed by the Morath soldiers who had paused to watch. Who now looked upon the queen and her general and charged.
Only to be met by a surge of Terrasen soldiers racing past Aedion and Lysandra, battle cries shattering from their throats.
Aedion half-dragged the shifter deeper behind the re-formed lines, through the soldiers who had rallied to their queen. He had to get the poison out, had to find a healer who could extract it immediately. Only a few minutes remained until it reached her heart. Perhaps the gods had listened. Perhaps it was their idea of mercy: that the ilken's poison had worn off on other victims before it'd gotten to her.
Aedion scanned the regrouping army for any hint of the healers' white banners over their helmets. None. He whirled toward the front lines. Perhaps there was a Fae warrior skilled enough at healing, with enough magic left—Aedion halted. Beheld what broke over the horizon.
Ironteeth witches.
A witch tower.
Oh gods.
"Fall back!" Aedion screamed, even while his men continued to rally. "FALL BACK." Aedion whirled and began running, carrying the shifter with him. "FALL BACK!"
The army beheld what approached. Whether they realized it was no siege tower, they understood his order clearly enough. Saw him sprinting, Aelin over his shoulder.
There was nowhere to hide on the field. No dips in the earth where he might throw himself and Lysandra, praying the blast went over them. Nothing but open snow and frantic soldiers.
"RETREAT!" Aedion's throat strained.
The Yielding.
The world shuddered.
Aedion threw Lysandra into the mud and snow and hurled himself over her, as if it would somehow spare her from the roaring force that erupted from the tower, right at their army.
One heartbeat, their left flank was fighting as they retreated once more.
The next, a wave of black-tinted light slammed into four thousand soldiers.
When it receded, there was only ash and dented metal.

"I Brought Pets"
Damian comes home later than usual. Thank the Wayne Enterprises for keeping him busy all night so that he rarely spend his time with his son. It's almost ridiculous if it weren't painful.
The Batcave was louder than usual. Something probably happened when Damian was on work.
"Bane! Catch!" a loud bark can be heard downstairs. Along with a deep growl.
Damian quickly ran in case something happened to his son. And fuck, he was shocked to see the sight of the Batcave being a fucking zoo. Animals, a lot of animals, were sprawled across the cave.
And there is Bruce, his angel of small death. A bubbly giggles, soaked in sunshine. Toothy smile formed over his face as if he hasn't just play with a large dog, much larger than Titus nor even Ace the Bathound. And Damian's mouth were agape.
"Baba!" Bruce calle out with a sunny smile. "I brought pets!"
Pets...
A crocodile named Waylon, a giant German shepherd named Bane, a bulldog that is twice Bruce's size named Harvey, and a snow leopard named Khoa. The question is; how does this kid gets these exquisite animals!? Bruce is mostly in the manor, mind you!?
Alfred, with an exaggerated sigh, answered, "magic, Master Damian. Magic. Lady Zatanna wasn't kidding when she said that magic is a problem."
To put it on; these animals is a magical creatures. They're the result of Circe's spell. The magic will faded after a week, usually. Zatanna tried to contact Damian for his help to accommodate the animals, but it was only Bruce and Alfred in the manor today. And Bruce is going to cry for hours if his pets were gone.
So Damian doesn't have much choices rather than keeping these large animals in the manor. They were protecting Bruce as if they're some sort of bodyguards.
"Alfred, is this a mid-life crisis?"

— 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐃 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐃. —
Lord Myrkul is a quasi-deity that domains the dead, necromancy, decay, and withering. All aspects of death in its rawest forms are usually pinpointed back to his cause, as Faerûn residents feared death solely because they would all meet Myrkul one day. Often, upon old age emerging and the vessel beginning to break down, the elderly and ill would curse Lord Myrkul for their aches and shaky bones.
Unlike Lord Kelemvor, who teaches that death is something not to be feared, Lord Myrkul is a ghastly reminder that everyone has an hourglass and his touch will come for every man, animal, and God. Fear is the greatest factor that feeds his existence. Despite the grim reality and harsh truth, his followers can be kind and comforting during one’s death day — as can he.
Taunting and selfishness is still in his nature as is his own gains for power, but most of this now links back to the fear of being entirely forgotten and vanishing from existence. Because of his great reduce in power due to the Time of Troubles, Midnight disintegrating his avatar, Lord Kelemvor refurbishing the Bone Castle and claiming his realm, Lord Myrkul was forced to exist in a state of limbo on the Astral Plane. While he does have manifestations on the mortal realm (Faerûn and so forth), he has his own god-isle on the Astral Plane as well — and still comes for the dying as the reaper, serving under Lord Kelemvor as a lesser death deity. Lord Myrkul’s job is to collect the soul and guide them back to the City of Judgment.
His personality and determination has mellowed down since falling from Godhood. Even during The Time of Troubles — where he and Lord Bane stole the Tablets of Fate from Lord Ao — Lord Myrkul was the tamest out of both Lord Bane and Lord Bhaal. He was known to speak in a high pitched whisper, never lost his temper, performed in a very calculative manner, and even addressed his thralls as ‘friends’. It’s uncertain if he’s genuine or mocking with pet names such as ‘friend’ and ‘dear’ — it’s hit or miss. He loves to be unpredictable. Nevertheless, exhausted with everything at this point after the events of the Betrayer’s Crusade, Time of Troubles (avatar death), Second Sundering, and 15th century (second death via apostle), he just exists to exist (most likely out of spite).
— 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐃𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐆𝐈𝐅𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆. —
Lord Myrkul sends out messages through a variety of unsettling creatures if he’s not materializing by himself. This includes (not limited to) undead (skeletons, zombies, winged horrors, etc), bats, black panthers, leopards, hellhounds, and nightmares. The undead usually are the ones that carry his will on the mortal plane. He also will send items to his faithful to express nonverbal favor or dislike — blood red roses that crumble into black soot when touched, jet, obsidian, onyx, ravens, and crows. They can aid in his faithful’s endeavor.
— 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐋𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐆𝐘. —
Temples are scarce but do still exist. Many people paid respects out of fear or during funerals, though primary faith is extremely rare. Followers would also keep their patron a secret — for a variety of reasons. Initiates to the faith are brought to kneel before a temple's doomwarden, where they must spend a night and a day fasting and meditating in complete darkness.
Myrkulite priests were known as The Gray Ones and carried about a rumor that touching one meant instant death. Morose and obsessed with death and the undead, they are the highest form of worship in Lord Myrkul’s name.
The clergy as a whole were tasked to make Faerûn residents fear and respect death enough that the church wouldn’t be trifled with. They were also tasked to remind people that following Lord Myrkul meant they had the church’s trust and patience — it was confirmed that if a member were to be murdered, the church would go out of their way to conduct vengeance on the perpetrator for fucking with one of it’s flock. Surprisingly, Myrkulites and Lord Myrkul himself are strict with loyalty and keeping to their word — as seen in BG3 when he attempted to slaughter the main party for slaying his chosen.
This reverses if one of the church betrays another or the God. Akachi turned his back on Lord Mykrul when he was his chosen and ended up as the cursed Spirit Eater after getting his entire army obliterated by Lord Mykrul’s undead army. Again, instilling mass fear with that story and to not dare fuck with his endeavors.
If not instilling fear, Mykrulites conduct funerals for ‘skull fees’ (should a person want a priest of Mykrul to act as an agent, avenger, or to carry out tasks for them after they die, they have to pay the priest personally before they expire). They are popular clients due to their resistance to diseases, meaning they can carry out tasks for retrieving the plagued, diseased, and infected. They will take care that the dying are as comfortable as possible before passing away, claiming that death is inevitable and shouldn’t be escaped. They view the deceased as sacred hands from beyond the grave and insist that the dying draft decrees, wills, cryptic verses that guide the living to search for their hidden treasure or otherwise dance to their bidding after they are dead.

— 𝐇𝐈𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇𝐘. —
Mykrulites will address one another as ‘Most Holy Death’ or simply ‘Death’ depending on the status of importance. Novices are known as the ‘Daring Ones’. Priests are known as the ‘Night Bringers’. Speciality priests are known as ‘The Gray Ones’.
— 𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐒. —
A Dusking is to be performed every day at dusk in honor of remembrance on how mortal all living beings are and how close death walks behind each creature. These rituals consist of a floating skull (if the user is magic based) above a bone decorated altar surrounded by grave dust, bones, viscera, and ashes from the deceased. Prayers and offerings are given at this time to appease Lord Myrkul from both faithful and non-devout, though prayers and offerings can be given at any time of late hours and not just limited to dusk. Tolling bells — unlike the soft jingles of normal bells — will be rung upon the beginning, end of a ritual, and presenting offerings.
The Feast of the Moon — also known as Day the Dead are Most With Us— is the church’s respective holiday. This day marks when the deceased rise again and transverse as unseen spirits, warning, observing, or communicating with their living descendants. Chants, prayers, and hymns are done by the church to respect the dead. They will also conduct Flagons of the Fallen — a ritual in which followers would pour drinks into goblets and set them alight as a way to symbolically offer warmth to the spirits of the dead, essentially ‘toasting’ the fallen in a morbid way.

— 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐕𝐈𝐀 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐃 𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐍. —
Bethanne was chosen seconds before the full transformation of nosferatuism could entirely corrupt her being. Had Lord Myrkul not interfered with the transformation, a once mortal Bethanne would have succumbed to Noctus’ — a powerful nosferatu beast — bidding and become nothing more than a mind controlled beast.
Instead, she resides as a hybrid of sorts — just a singular step away from completing the modification, the nosferatu humanoid still retains the gargoyle-esque appearance and macabre features complete with the wings and strengths. Those who fall victim to a nosferatu’s bite will either go mad and into a biting frenzy or become another one of Noctus’ thralls to rip apart the living. Lord Myrkul, seeing potential in her determination and stubbornness, blessed her with his necrotic touch — meaning if he were to retract his blessing, the curse would effectively kill her, free from its restraints. Her body is relentlessly battling the curse.
Unfortunately, with little knowledge on the Gods, Bethanne did not seek out Lord Myrkul until later on in the story — nor was she aware she was his rightful chosen.
Formerly a barbarian with path of the beast, Bethanne could go into a rage and use the curse to her advantage by temporarily becoming the beast — only every time she harnessed it, it would become more untamable and beastly. The beast will also forcibly push itself to the front of her mind whenever Noctus was around, causing her body to go into a fit of hysteria as it desperately sought for control again. This occurrence had led her to nearly murdering her close friend, as the beast is not hers to leash — but Noctus’.
— 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄. —
Upon meeting several undead knights of Lord Kelemvor that had been slain and cursed by Noctus, Bethanne swore to avenge them by taking Noctus’ head. Holding her to her word, the knights had the barbarian swear on it and give some of her blood — declaring the confused undead as a paladin of vengeance.
Again, with little knowledge on the Gods, Bethanne did not know much about Lord Kelemvor and took this as a sign that one of the divine finally heard her pleads for mercy (the vast majority of Gods despise or pity the undead, thus ignoring her). She was then gifted Carnage — a sentient sword Lord Kelemvor weld before ascending to Godhood. Unfortunately, it became a rude awakening finding out that Carnage bathed in the blood of her own kind and Lord Kelemvor had tasked her with killing a greater force of undead — while also disliking her. Essentially tasking a being he disliked with a chore and simultaneously having her murder her own kin in his sword’s steed.
Enraged by this information, Bethanne was stuck with Carnage until she either perished or someone else attuned to the item (no one wanted to). As a martyr for the undead who believed in the coexistence of both mortal and deceased, this became a huge barrier in her cause — to which she pondered if this was done on purpose now to put a sharp detour in her cause via divine intervention. Carnage monitored her at all times and she knew that reaching out to Lord Myrkul for help would be imminent death by Lord Kelemvor — and in the end, she ultimately chose death over slavery.
Every other night, Beth would place Carnage aside to perform a small dusking ritual just to let the deity know she was reaching out — quickly putting out the candles right after receiving a reaction so that Carnage wouldn’t find out.

— 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐋 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐎𝐑𝐃 𝐎𝐅 𝐁𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒. —
As the party fought Noctus for a third time, the vampire lord brought several thrall beasts with him to thwart a masquerade hosted by Ireena and Izek Kolyana. The worst case scenario approached rapidly as most of Beth’s party fell, leaving only her and the sorceress barely alive, Noctus taunting Beth’s deceased family and the desperate cries for Lord Myrkul’s interference.
Right before being slain by Noctus, Bethanne suddenly went limp. Her soul woke up in a wintery nothingness, the chill surprisingly felt despite the undead unable to feel the cold — and Lord Myrkul finally acknowledged her in his god isle, explaining that her presence there will alert Lord Kelemvor and be seen as betrayal. The shepherd of the dead then revealed that he kept her late family in his isle for her to say her final goodbyes to before they left to The City of Judgement before ridding of the beast so Noctus could no longer control her — erasing both path of the beast and paladin of vengeance to substitute with zealot and oathbreaker.
Meanwhile, on the mortal plane, the sorceress helplessly watched as Bethanne’s body dreamily rose as if puppeteered, lazy hands raising Carnage against her belly — and slitting it wide open, disemboweling her vessel, killing her instantly. Her soul screeched to the high realms as it and her body were torn apart by both breaking an oath and being punished by a God, Lord Myrkul squeezing her hand and embracing the pitiful thing until the agony passed.
From that day on, Lord Kelemvor proclaimed that she was kill on sight for he and his devout followers — and Bethanne became Lord Myrkul’s only surviving death knight, sent back to the mortal plane to spread his gospel, thus earning her the official title ‘The Gospel of Lord Myrkul’ (can be interchanged with The Lord of Bones).
— 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐘𝐑 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐃. —
Fearing Lord Myrkul’s disappearance permanently as opposed to any sort of punishment, Bethanne used her cause in his name (without directly mentioning Lord Myrkul), any of her successions in converting one’s negative view on undead to positive being a gift for her god.
The Gospel is referred to by many titles by their followers — The Unholy One, The Grayest One, Mistress of Bones, The Herald of Bones, The Gospel, etc. She will accept bowing in greeting, but refuses any feet kissing or buttering up. Uninterested in letting power go to her head, Bethanne occupies herself with designing temples to be, current temple architecture, training death paladins into future death knights, and studying death magic with the cleric and priests. Occasionally, whenever time permits it, The Gospel will go out of her way to carry out the dying’s deeds without a skull fee. She will visit graveyards to clean moldy tombs and replenish the flowers — and to catch glimpses of Lord Myrkul lurking about the cemetery.
In spite of all of this, one should not take her kindness as weakness. As an oathbreaker zealot, Beth wields a battle axe and myrkulite scourge with methods of the most gruesome demises. This includes — but is not limited to — bludgeoning, slitting throats, skull crushing, dismemberment, and her favorite — decapitation via execution. Each corpse will have their bones taken out of the body to be used in her next offering batch. The organs will be harvested for other components. Depending on how crucial the offense was, the flesh will sometimes be thieved to be woven into book covers to be dyed black and given to the temple. Kelemvorites will always be risen as an undead thrall directly after slain as punishment for trifling with her territory — or hung out to dry up under the sun, Lord Myrkul’s symbol carved into the chest cavity for all to see as a warning.

Tell us more about your werecreatures! What are relationships between them and humans?
Hello, Anon!
Well, I assume we will discuss werecreatures in relation to this post? Okay then.
So, as it was pointed before, therianthropy is a viral curse that can be transmitted in several ways.
through saliva - if a human were bitten
through blood - if a human bite them back
through unprotected sexual intercourse - you get the idea.
Main problem is that the curse is so ancient that it's not possible to determine where it came from, how or why. You can, however, get rid of it in the first 28 days (28 days since the moment you have being bitten to be specific), unless you suffer from some rare complications as the dude I have discussed in the original post. It involves getting shots of a medicine made from aconitum (aka aconite/monkshood/wolfsbane/leopard's bane/devil's helmet/blue rocket). Please do not attempt this at home because this plant is poisonous!
Most humans will suffer from a mild allergy for this med but few might develop Angioedema (aka Quincke's edema/angioneurotic edema) in addition to injuries, hence why you stay for 5 days. Stay for this time is free because it's sponsored by local Pack Centers. And like 99% of Packs keep an eye on what their members do.
In the past humans and werecreatures didn't get along much to say the least, but nowadays relationships are mostly neutral, but there are places where neither of sides is welcome. But normally humans keep off Pack territories and Packs make sure that those who got infected because of their members, get proper treatment.
Must note that there are people who, due to variety of reasons, join Packs and willingly take the curse upon themselves. But they are few.
Werecreature/human romantic and/or sexual relationships usually are not exactly a thing because of several factors and the main one is that weres are quite uncanny from human point of view, even if they are friendly or took human form.
Weres on the other hand, think that humans lack something important but can't pinpoint what exactly. Some view humans as something like weirdo not-prey-not-predator creature and aren't sure what to do about them. So basically, same uncanny valley only from another side.
Close friendships are possible, if both sides are willing to overlook each other's oddity.
Situations as with trans guy from original post are so rare that weres don't even know what might happen to him in the end.

Wolfsbane [Aconite] and Werwolfs
For those who are deeply interested in Werewolf and Vampire lore, please pay attention. The Wolfsbane that you have likely heard of in various supernatural fictions is not only poisonous and potentially deadly for fictional Werewolves, but also for humans. Therefore, please refrain from writing about it as if it only affects Werewolves. Take a moment to do a quick Google search or refer to my previous post about Aconite. By neglecting this information, you are missing out on potential dramatic possibilities by simplifying it as merely poison for your beloved monsters.
Aconite (Aconitum napellus, monkshood, wolfsbane, leopard's bane, devil's helmet, or blue rocket).
Aconite poisoning is a serious condition that can occur if you ingest, inhale, or absorb aconite through your skin. Aconite is a toxic substance found in the Aconitum genus of plants, which includes monkshood, wolfsbane, and leopard's bane.
Symptoms of aconite poisoning can vary depending on the amount of toxin ingested, inhaled, or absorbed. They can include dizziness, nausea, vomiting, confusion, anxiety, hallucinations, seizures, muscle paralysis, cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, respiratory failure, and death.
If you suspect someone has been poisoned by aconite, call the Poison Control Center immediately. To stay safe from aconite poisoning, be aware of the appearance of aconite plants, avoid contact with them, wear protective gear when handling aconite plants, and never ingest, inhale, or absorb aconite in any form.
I am not an expert on this topic, so there may be some misinformation. Please do your own research for any reason you might need.
