Bayverse TmnT X Touchy Reader; Hc's
@fandomcrazieshangout ,"This request is for all the boys. Reader doesn't seem to like people touching them but when it's the turtles they act almost touch starved. Turns out reader has a little adhd and they prefer the boys reptile skin over human skin. A weird request I'm sure, but it's what I want. ( I think this works fine for platonic but if you feeling you can add romance just Donnie and Raph)
~xXx~
-no one really thinks anything about it, just figuring you don't liked being touched
-then one time Mikey, being as socially loving as he is, forgets your no touch rule and sweeps you up into big ol hug
-Leo lightly scolding him reminds him that oh yeah, no touchy, and he quickly puts you down
-but instead of rubbing your arms on a surface to get rid of the feel like you do if even April were to accidentally brush against your hand, you don't do that at all
-you just shrug and go about your business and boys are like ??? can touch ???
-Donnie's the one who makes studious observations from afar and comes to the conclusion that their pebbled/scaled skin is a sort of sensory comfort to you
-he's the one to actually test his theory, letting his hands linger for a moment when you pass him a tool and watching to see if you wipe your hand or not
-once he's absolutely sure he's right in his hypothesis that you do in fact find comfort in physical contact with him and his brothers, he gives them the news, but not after relishing in your contact for a bit longer first
-this news obv makes Mikey so excited, and his brothers have to remind him to take it slow to still not scare you
-doesn't take long for Mikey to make it onto your exception list
-bro will literally hug you any chance he gets, and when you start to hug back
-oh, he's died and gone to heaven!
-Leo's a bit more cautious about it, still apprehensive about pushing any boundaries
-even when you reassure him its okay for him to touch you, he still always ask first and even apologizes if he does so by accident
-absolutely revels in the feeling of you running your hands over his skin
-Leo's def not touch starved or anything
-at least not as much as Raphael
-speaking of which; Raph lets you touch him but acts like a bit of jerk at first, pretending that he doesn't care but really he's floating on cloud nine
-you? of all people, want to touch him?!
-the first time you ask to see what his face feels like, he's very hesitant but eventually agrees
-and boy, is he glad he did because the second your soft hands cradled his cheeks and your little thumbs caress the rough skin, he about damn near melts like a puddle in your palms
~xXx~

Hello! Hope you don’t mind this is short-
Can you do mutant mayhem boy’s x scary reader BUT HAS A HUGE SOFT SPOT OF KIDS?
thank u
auGH im sorry this took so long and its kinda shit i think but im just gonna drop this here and run
hope you enjoy ❤️
Leo:
At first, Leo didn’t really want to associate with you
He was too afraid of your presence
He figured he’d just make his life easier and not hang around you
Whenever you walked by him, he would turn away
He knew that you weren’t a bully
His anxiety just couldn’t handle it
But his worst nightmare came true one day
Leo had run into a little kid and was helping him back up
You noticed him and walked over to help as well
As soon as he noticed you, he froze
You finished helping the kid and sent him on his way, before turning to Leo
You asked if something was wrong, before he snapped back
He started stuttering, trying to explain that nothing was wrong and he was just nervous
But of course you had to ask what he was nervous about
He tried to make up something, but eventually told the truth
You apologized for being so scary to him, and that you didn’t mean to be like that
You and him started talking, and he finally learned after all this time that you weren’t so mean after all
Raph:
Raph could not stand by you and just let you intimidate him like that
So he’d purposefully try and hang out around you to show you up
But being around someone all the time only makes you know them more
Raph often overheard your conversations with your friends
They weren’t of much interest to him, but he wasn’t doing much else other than standing around looking scary so he listened in anyway
He zoned out a lot, but when he heard squealing and giggling from somewhere nearby, he snapped back to reality
He whipped his head around to find out what was going on
Eventually he figured out it was coming from you
Curious, he walked over to see your friend showing you a picture of his new baby sister
He watched, a little confused as you gushed over how cute the baby was (he had to admit it was pretty adorable)
But he still never tried to stop showing you up
He just knew that you weren’t really so bad anymore
Mikey:
Mikey was a bit apprehensive towards you at first
He didn’t really know how to approach you
It didn’t help that you weren’t the most welcoming person
He really wanted to be friends with you
He thought you were cool and he knew you weren’t a terrible person
He had seen you with your friends before, so he just wanted to be like them
He needed to find something to relate to you about
One day he walked up to one of your friends and just asked what you liked
They said that he didn’t talk much about what he liked, but they did tell Mikey about how you had a fondness for kids
So the next day, while you were alone, he came up to you and struck up a conversation
He made a bit of small talk before bringing up a video compilation of babies that he said he found the other day
He played the video and you were immediately in love
He watched and laughed along with you as the video went on
He knew from then on that you two were probably gonna be good friends
Donnie:
Donnie didn’t care much about you
Not in the sense that he hated you
He just saw you as another person
He saw you at school and around the city
No more than acquaintances
One time when he was passing by in the park, he heard a bit of a commotion
He looked around to see what it was, and he happened to see your group of friends
Upon further inspection, he saw that they had stopped for you
He walked over and said hi, there was a few people that he knew there
But he was really surprised to see you
You had stopped in front of a mom and her kid
You were crouched down on the ground, talking to a little kid only a few years old
As you talked and played with the kid, Donnie just watched
He was captivated by your seemingly sudden change in personality
As he eventually walked away, he kept in his mind a changed view of you. One that was more friendly and welcoming

i find it so funny and sweet how ramon looked at the 3 newest eggs and went "those are my little siblings now", no questions asked he just decides hes their big brother. like, even pepito who he doesnt get to see very often. you could notice yesterday how he was crouching and keeping an eye on pepito at all times and defending pepito in times like when foolish and tubbo wanted pepito to choose a side in the sunny vs leo conflict, ramon stepped in front of pepito and everyone else.
and in a character sense, it makes sense. ramon has already said he wants to make sure they have a childhood, because he and the other eggs didnt really get to have one. he wants to give these 3 the chance at being kids when theyre supposed to be - he doesnt want them to be robbed of a childhood like the rest of the eggs. and i also think ramon saw the other eggs be apprehensive to the new 3 because they came from egg island and saw himself a little; alone with few people other than their parents to talk to. and he didnt want that to repeat, so he made sure he was at least there for them to talk to and hang out with. thats something ive appreciated from ramon, he didnt dislike or hate the new eggs when they first arrived. i understand fully why some other eggs were that way, but it wouldve hurt my heart too much if they ended up so alone. (and ramon wasnt the only one who didnt hate them at the start, i think, which is good)

obligatory disclaimer to all the "its just mc eggs its not that deep" people that this is about characters. we are allowed to post character analysis, even ones that arent positive, about fictional characters no matter what medium theyre from. this is 10000% about the characters, not the admins and there are moments i may not know about since i cant watch every pov but heres my thoughts on the sunny/leo "beef"
which it feels wrong, at this point, to even call it beef when its mostly one sided on leo's part and the adults are failing both sunny and leo
does leo have the right to be wary about the new eggs? 100%, absolutely
does that excuse her recent treatment of sunny? no
is leo to blame for her behavior? well, no, she's a child
do i think q!foolish and q!tubbo are good fathers? yes
did they both drop the ball in regards to this situation and should have handled it better? yes, but that doesnt mean its not too late now
again, i dont fault leo for being distrustful and cautious of the new eggs, its more than reasonable given what shes gone through. im glad she's warmed up to pepito and i think it's a good choice on foolish's part to not force her to interact with anyone she doesnt like while still encouraging her to try. that being said, i think he should say something to leo about how she has recently been treating sunny because it is quickly getting to the point where it is bullying, not "beef"
to be fair, maybe he hasnt seen [in character/roleplay] the extent to which she has treated sunny, and obviously none of the parents are aware of the baby fight club, but even then, someone should say something to leo if they see behavior similar to how leo treated sunny after the fight [although i believe foolish and roier are two of the only people she will actually listen to /neu] with that being said, i dont think foolish takes it very seriously and at the end day has a rather "well what can you do" type of mentality about it.
we know that leo is stubborn and can be a little hard headed, which is one of the reasons why i personally love her, but its been toeing the line in regards to sunny and i feel as though she crossed it during the baby fight club. sunny has been trying to take leo's feelings into consideration [among other eggs, such as tallulah, who excuse it as distrust of the new eggs despite being warm/neutral to both em and pepito while being harsher to sunny].
the fact that the fight ended and sunny was trying to leave when leo blocked the exit and continued to hit sunny shows that her feelings towards sunny are more than just apprehension. even ramon, leo's triplet, felt the need to step to in and separate them out of concern for sunny's well being.
i can also see the nuance of leo's behavior: its the first time where she has disliked someone and been forced to be in close vicinity/interact with them, and no one has taught her that this sort of behavior isnt ok so how is she supposed to know better?
its not an excuse by any means, but it doesnt make it any less bullying than it is. this is where the adults are failing not just sunny [by being bystanders] but theyre failing leo, too.
and sure, disagreements and fights between the eggs is interesting.. when it comes from both parties but when you have one egg--one child--who doesnt want to be around another egg child in consideration of their feelings while the other egg child vandalizes their things and hits them to the point of almost being downed--that's not a disagreement. thats bullying.
does leo have to like sunny? no
do i think that they have more in common and similar feelings of loneliness that they both dont realize, which could make way for a friendship? yes
would i mind if leo never warms up to sunny? no
its realistic. sometimes kids just.. dont get along and thats ok, its good to teach children that we arent going to get along with everyone or even like them [and not everyone is going to like us and we shouldnt try to force them to], but its also important to teach children that not liking somebody doesnt make it okay to treat them poorly or bully them.
in fact, this would be a really good situation in which both leo and sunny can learn the aforementioned, especially since their fathers are good friends that enjoy one another's company so i dont see them stopping hangouts anytime soon so leo and sunny will hopefully learn to, at the very least, be civil with one another. i hope this is the direction the story goes because a bully arc is one of the last things i personally want to watch
i understand its hard, especially when their first languages are not one that they share, but thats what the qsmp is all about, isnt it? coming together in spite of language barriers
im hoping the sunny/leo situation takes a turn for the better, even if it takes time to get to a point where they are mostly indifferent to one another w/o excessive antagonizing
with all that said, i will always have faith in the admins to give us their best, even if the outcome isnt what we wanted or expected

I’m in love with big brother Yusei.
Yusei taking Leo on rides in his duel runner in the evenings while listening to Leo talk his ear off about all his duels at the academy and the new cards he’s got and pouting about whatever Luna and dexter made fun of him for. Yusei letting Leo tinker on his duel runner with him when he’s got too much pent up energy to do homework, teaching him how to use the different tools. And then making sure he still does his homework after. Giving him dueling tips and teaching him how to throw a proper punch at the punching bag he and crow + jack keep in a corner.
Yusei listening to Luna talk about the book she just finished or the interesting card theory she learned that day, paying rapt attention. Luna sitting silently next to Yusei while he tinkers because sometimes the world is too loud and Yusei gets that. Luna being initially apprehensive of Jack and Yusei telling him in a low voice about Luna’s new book fascination or whatever so jack can check it out and ask her about it. Yusei keeping track of all of Luna’s new interests at the moment, whether it’s a trap card or a book series or her attempts to learn German or her random deep dives into the origins of her favorite fairy tales. He knows when she’s into what and asks her about them and lets her talk at him while he tinkers, and she sits by him and has observed him so closely she knows exactly what tool he needs just by what bike part he’s looking at and when to hand it to him. She doesn’t ask to go on rides on his duel runner like Leo does but Yusei catches her staring at it so he offers and she immediately says yes and he smiles while strapping the smaller helmet he bought for them on her. He pretends to be sneaky about taking her out for a spin so Leo doesn’t insist on joining. They both know Leo’s aware of them going but Leo’s always been the energetic one whom people are drawn to and Luna appreciates that Yusei makes such a point of having one on one time with her.
The twins falling asleep in the garage apartment because it was a long day at school and Yusei putting his jacket over them and turning his music down. Yusei teaching them to cook because they are, fundamentally, rich kids and thus have never actually set foot in their kitchen except to grab a snack. Yusei coming to their parent teacher meetings like “guys are you sure this is okay” (Leo’s like “of course it is Yusei you’re legally an adult and also a hero so they can’t say no to you!” while Luna actually filled out the forms beforehand). The kids dragging him to the card shop. Them learning more about the Satellite when they visit with Yusei + co. I just. Big bro Yusei guys

re-doing heroes of olympus
HOO sucks, in a lot of aspects. And so I'm going to talk about how I'd fix it because I'm bored and also for fun. To be fair, I would rewrite HOO so quickly if I had the time and motivation.
(featuring: frank/leo, drew tanaka, and katie gardner)
(warning: long post under cut. and i mean long.)
The (revised) Seven:
Drew Tanaka - Drew replaces Piper here because, although I think Piper is interesting, Drew is a far better and more nuanced character if you let her be. Featuring: Drew's trauma, her thoughts on Silena, and her femininity!
Percy Jackson - objectively (not objectively), Percy is the most powerful character in the series. However, he could be a lot better, especially his character arc. Featuring: Percy's compassion, his hatred of Luke, and his straining relationship with Annabeth!
Katie Gardner - Katie, as the daughter of Demeter, is an incredibly powerful character and therefore deserves a spot. Plus, I think she's cool. Featuring: Katie's cool plant powers, her insecurity about herself, and her struggle to be recognized!
Leo Valdez - I happen to think fire is cool, and that Leo is an incredibly compelling character. He's not going to be a baby misogynist in my version, nor is he going to be particularly flirty. Featuring: Leo's cool fire!!!! but also his apprehension in using it, his (rightful) anger at Hephaestus, and his idea of himself in a world that's scared of him!
Frank Zhang - he's cool, he's interesting, and I am not going to make him an Asian stereotype! Featuring: Frank's hatred of seeming 'meek', his idea of being Asian in xenophobic New Rome, and his struggle of falling for someone who could kill him!
Hazel Levesque - she's interesting, especially as someone so young. But I'm going to make her act more her age, and also not have a weird age gap thing with Frank. They're not dating here. Featuring: her hate of all the responsibility that's being placed on her shoulders, her hesitant relationship with magic, with all its vices and virtues, and her dislike of her father, Hades!
Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano - she deserves it. Plus, she and Percy are parallels in my mind, more than Percy and Jason. Reyna's cool, and I loved her chapters in BOO, so more Reyna it is. Featuring: her seemingly insurmountable past, her stress to be perfect, and her relationship with a xenophobic New Rome!
and Grover Underwood - instead of Coach Hedge, I'm putting Grover in. Because I love him.
Relationships:
Drew/Katie - I love this ship. Plus, I think it's intriguing - two people from cabins vastly underestimated coming together to be amazing. Developing romance, and it's not established until the last book.
Percy/Annabeth - but not how you think! Percy and Annabeth both reconciling with how they don't like each other as much as they've been pushed together, and breaking up amicably but remaining friends.
Leo/Frank - tragedy here we come! Instead of having something like Jason/Piper where Jason leaves New Rome for CHB, Frank doesn't do that. He and Leo fall in love, get together, and then split, all on the Argo II. Frank can't leave New Rome, Leo can't go to New Rome. The perfect tragic romance, but with a glimmer of hope - maybe sometime, in the future, Frank and Leo can live together, outside of New Rome and outside of CHB. Plus, in chemistry - they're both afraid of fire, they both are insecure of themselves and their places in the world. They compliment each other.
Hazel & Frank - besties. They may be three years apart, but they are staunch best friends. Hazel teases Frank about Leo all the time.
Reyna & Percy - understand each other the way only people who know each other's situation in different fonts can.
Drew & Frank - East Asian mutual understanding! They bond over, although they're different places in East Asia, they're both living the experience of an Asian American/Canadian. They're living the immigrant dichotomy, and add on Leo to that kind of idea.
Katie & Hazel - they care so much about the people around them! I like the idea of Katie being Hazel's older sister figure in a way. Also, they bond over art. I don't make the rules.
Drew & Reyna - they're both incredibly logic-driven people, but whereas Drew is completely aware of her emotions and others', Reyna isn't, not as much. Also, they judge people together.
Katie & Leo - Katie and Leo are just the right kind of combination of sweet/overly excited ever. Katie helps remind Leo he needs a break, and Katie is always happy to just listen to Leo ramble on and on about something, as long as she can draw while he's doing so.
Reyna & Leo - they get along pretty well, which is kind of a surprise at first. But they have a minorly antagonistic friendship, but they still work together.
Drew & Percy - they're judgemental besties. What else can I say?
Percy & Leo - they're incredibly similar people for obvious reasons. It's even acknowledged in canon!
Katie & Grover - they bond over their mutual love of plants.
Reyna & Grover - they both understand duty and passion to be similar, and they both understand the amount of pressure to be a leader from a young age.
etc. I'm not going to outline every one of their relationships, because I'm lazy.
Book One: The Lost Heroes
Here, I'm combining TLH with SON, because we need all the space for the other parts of the series. It oscillates between Reyna, Leo, Drew, and Katie's quest, and Percy, Hazel, and Frank's quest. I never really liked how Annabeth didn't really do anything for the first two books, considering she's a main character for the last three, so everyone gets a quest. This makes the quests more condensed, and more in the length of the original PJO series, in terms of book size. Percy, Hazel, and Frank's quest stays mostly the same, albeit with a bit of condensing, whereas Reyna, Leo, Drew and Katie's quest changes a lot. It follows the same blueprint, but they don't meet with the Hunters at any point, and Khione and Medea and Drew are set up as intentional parallels to explore what Drew could be in the future.
Book Two: The Promise of Aphrodite
Yes, I'm deliberately changing it from the Mark of Athena to the Promise of Aphrodite. This time, they visit Troy first. I know, weird, but the Argo II in this book is slightly quicker at getting places. It stays mostly the same, with the storyline, though, although I'm removing the part where the Argo II needs repairs. However, Troy is, of course, where Aphrodite's biggest folly was, with Paris and Helen. Drew follows it, and at the end, Percy and Drew fall into Tartarus because of Drew needing to metaphorically bring down Aphrodite's legacy, the legacy of hatred (woo symbolism!), because they've become friends over the course of the book, and also angst potential. It also shows Percy and Drew's newfound friendship, and I want them to be something that isn't just romance in Tartarus. Also, Nico is here.
Book Three: The House of Hades
This time, the entrance to the doors is in Rome. So they go to Rome, fully intent on this. Nico comes out to Hazel in a sweet, private moment, because I want Nico's coming out to not be homophobic, and this is prompted by Nico seeing Hazel tease Frank about Leo, and him realizing that Hazel, and most of the demigods, might not have the same strong homophobia. Katie stresses over Drew in the Underworld, and Grover stresses over Percy, especially, but they're all stressing. Annabeth's moment of realizing about the pen part of Riptide is given to Drew, whereas Percy realizes about the M&Ms. This time, Jason makes the trek out to the Argo II instead of Reyna, and Jason, Grover, and Nico bring Reyna's purple cloak - a symbol of power and peace - back to CHB with CJ waiting to fight.
Book Four: The Blood of the Gods
Yes, it's The Blood of the Gods now, because reasons. This time, there isn't any huge 'one girl and one boy demigod' thing. Instead, it's 'one Greek and one Roman demigod'. Everything is more or less the same, but with different characters, so different things happen. In Athens, Reyna and Percy are the ones who bleed instead of Annabeth and Percy, because they're foils and stuff. However, this book balances nine POVs, as each book has at least seven POVs. Because... stuff. At the end of this book, the Greeks and Romans decide to reconcile temporarily to win together against Gaea.
Book Five: The Goddess of the Earth
All-out war! Finales only mean so much if they're actually finales. TLO was such a fun read because it's an actual war. Therefore, The Goddess of the Earth is a full-on war. Unlike normal, Gaea is slow to wake, and her power is more emphasized. It's also the Romans being lead together with Reyna and Jason, Percy and Annabeth, and it also leads to a lot more ability to develop these relationships. The lovely Piper-and-Jason scene at the end of BOO, where they're on top of the cabin in the stars, is given to Katie and Drew instead, because Aphrodite kids are like that. Annabeth and Percy, already having broken up, talk together. Nico can have a moment where he realizes his self-worth, and exclude romance in his future for now. And Frank and Leo have that heartbreaking conversation where they talk about how they can't be together. Anyway, peace.

ROTTMNT: Retired Leo AU
Happy Mother's Day to all the great mothers out there.
Mother’s Day Special 2024
Casey opens the wardrobe in his bedroom and pulls out a small box from the bottom. Inside are his old apocalypse clothes. He unfolds the cloak- filthy and tattered- and out of its folds he grabs an old photo.
He’s kept it hidden in there all this time because every time he looked at it, it broke his heart a little more. But today is a special day, and one he hasn’t honoured in years.
Casey sticks the photo in his bag, folds his cloak back up into the box, closes his wardrobe on it, and leaves his room.
“I’m going now,” he says as he walks through the TV room.
“Okay,” Leonardo replies, looking at him from the chair. “Want me to come with you?”
“No, it’s okay,” Casey smiles appreciatively. “I’ll be fine on my own.”
“Alright,” he nods, “see you when you get back.” With that, Casey rides his skateboard down the entrance tunnel. He comes out through the garage door leading onto the city streets and skates down the sidewalk, weaving around the passersby.
He comes to a gift shop, picks up his board, and goes inside. After spending a few minutes perusing the shelves, he picks out a picture frame- simple and black. Then he goes up to the front counter, behind which they have flowers displayed especially for today.
“Can I help you?” the friendly cashier asks.
“This, please,” Casey replies, handing over the frame. “Also, um...what flowers are best for today?”
“Well, roses are the most popular,” she explains, “different colours have different representation, but generally they symbolize love. Carnations are good too, representing beauty.”
Casey grimaces apprehensively, not really feeling either of those. Then his eyes fall on a different flower and he points at it. “What about that one?”
“Oh, yes,” the cashier replies, “sunflowers are quite popular too. They represent wisdom and adoration.”
He nods happily. “Yeah, I’ll take two of those, please.”
“Of course. Would you like them wrapped?”
“Sure.” She snips the stems of two sunflowers and carefully wraps them in paper. Casey pays for them and the frame, sticking it in his bag and carrying the flowers, before taking his leave.
He continues his journey through the city on his skateboard until he arrives to Metro Tower. Picking up his board, he stares up at the skyscraper for a minute before glancing around. He walks around the building until he comes up to an alley and disappears down it. As soon as he’s sure nobody’s watching him, he pulls up the sleeve on his right arm, uncovering his grappling gauntlet and fires it up the tower.
He propels up the wall at high speed, startling anyone who might happen to be looking out a window as he passes by. In a matter of seconds, he reaches the roof and walks across it.
The wind blows through his hair as he stands at the front edge and looks out over the city, so big and bright and loud and different from anything he knew when he was growing up.
Casey sets his skateboard down to sit on as he slips his bag off his shoulder. From it, he removes it his chainsaw hockey stick and mask, laying them down in front of him. Then he carefully unwraps the two sunflowers and lies them down above the mask, crossing the stems. Finally, he grabs the photo, sticks it in the new frame, and sets the frame down in front of the flowers.
He sighs heavily as he leans back, staring at the photo. It’s of him when he was about nine years old. He’s smiling brightly, a tooth missing and a bandage across his nose, as he’s held between two people- April and Cassandra. They’re also smiling and hugging little Casey close.
That is one of the last times the three of them were together.
Casey swallows a lump in his throat and lets out a shaky breath before smiling.
“Happy Mother’s Day, Moms.”

Risetober 2023: Day 31 - Trick or Treat!
Weeks of meticulous, tedious preparation had been diligently poured into a singular night.
The aforementioned night would be Halloween, the one night of every year on which all people, and mutants, freely flaunt their most befitting costumes.
A lion onesie and matching mane had already been purchased for one Michelangelo.
A totally metal tank top had been scrounged out of the bottom of Leo’s closet to go over his rock star outfit from last year (what could he say, he couldn’t bear to part with the old one).
S.H.E.L.L.D.O.N. had already been bribed with the promise of a canister of oil as a treat in exchange for carrying around Donnie’s bag.
A headband with cat ears had been thoughtfully bought and altered by Raph for the night’s accompaniment.
A hot pink outfit was deliberately picked out to make sure April was a great Barbie to Donnie’s Oppenheimer.
The gang met up in the lair before emerging to the profoundly stunning lights of the New York City streets.
The crisp chill in the air brought a nipping cold to their noses, in addition to the dulcet smells of nearby caramel apple and cider vendors.
Despite the apprehensive breeze, the weather was eerily pleasant and appropriate for that one night for all spooks and ghouls.
That one night for childish antics and harmless pranks and trick or treating.
Yes, that one night when the Hamato would always eagerly gather in front of a door, knock, and unanimously shout,
“Trick or treat!”
(@sariphantom
wow. 31 consecutive days, 31 drawings, 31 writing excerpts.
Risetober has been such a delight to partake in, and I’ve had a ridiculous amount of fun!
Thank you so much to everyone, and happy Halloween and Risetober!)

I mean I think anon should just say they dont like paul mescal as lead in this movie thats totally fine and its true paul hasn't necesarily been in movies that audiences have seen but I dont understand the persepective that just b/c hes never done "extroverted" and mostly emotionally intense films that should mean one should be apprehensive and invalidate him without giving him chance. This is opportunity to build a diverse profile and expand his skill set.
Idk based on your logic then andrew garfield and tom holland shouldnt have played spiderman b/c at that point in their careers there were mainly in intense dramas or indie films and hadnt proved they were a " establishing screen presence" or had done " extroverted roles" and guess what they proved mlst people wrong b/c they both delivered
Idk give these people a chance before quickly dismissing them based on the work they have done prior, its a role its an opportunity to show range. We complain about actors lack of range and then when they do a role that can show them range we then say they are not right for the role. Idk it seems there is no pleasing anyone
Also side note: ITS FREAKING DENZEL WASHINGTON one of the best actors in our generation in what way do you think paul or anyone is gonna have that same presence. Leonardo di caprio one of greatest actors in our generation was out acted and out performed by daniel day lewis in gangs of new york b/c ddl is a screen presence asking anyone to out act them is tough.
I totally agree with ALL of this! 💯
Let actors diversify their filmography! Just because an actor has never played a certain role before, it doesn't mean they are wrong for a part that gives them the opportunity to show their range.
I'm pretty sure Heath Ledger had never played a psychotic maniac before he played The Joker in "The Dark Knight", but look at how he delivered!!!
Some actors have a LOT of great talent and potential that just hasn't been tapped into yet! Doing roles outside of their comfort zone is what shows people what they can really do! 😃👍🏾 It also exercises an actor's acting muscles.
I also agree with your last paragraph re: DDL, Leo, and GONY. 😊

Bayverse TmnT X Thankful Reader; HC’s
Anon Request, "Can I ask for Bayverse Turtles reacting to GN reader who thanks them for saving them instead of being scared of them?"
~xXx~
Michelangelo:
Dudes pretty stoked when it hits him that you’re not running away screaming your head off after he’s saved you from some drunks
He’s really excited and almost loses himself to it, grabbing your hands and cheerfully introducing himself
Probs throws out some kind of pun or pick up line about how this must mean something, and for a moment almost really feels that when you giggle at his shenanigans
A human who thanked him with no shred of fear and thinks he’s funny?! Someone pinch him because there’s no way this isn't a dream
Would slip you his number before dashing off to the calls of his brothers, winking back as he waved goodbye, already picturing you as a new friend
Donatello:
Freaked out at first when he sees you still hanging around after he fought off a thug who tried to rob you, but that shock is quickly replaced with curiosity as you breathlessly thank him
He wonders if this is some other form of distress on your part and does a quick check up to make sure you didn’t hit your head or something
Is even more surprised when it turns out you’re perfectly fine, and you don’t shy away from his touch, a large hand still gently holding you by the shoulder
Donnie’s quick to pull away when he realizes, fumbling with his words for a moment and the soft smile you offer is not helping the warmth dusting his cheeks
The shout from his brothers for him is what saves him from further embarrassment, but as he turns to leave and sees you still standing, watching him go, he can’t help the growing intrigue he now has for you
Raphael:
You’re not running in terror, screaming bloody murder, and Raph isn’t sure how to feel
He just stands and stares absolutely bewildered as you offer him a kind thank you after saving you from random aggressors
He’s quick to catch your hand as it lifts towards his face, more shock coursing through him when he sees the rag in your grasp to clean at a cut on his face
Your fearlessness towards him is impressive, but he can’t help the internal panic
Yes there’s a joyful elation Raph feels, but this is all new territory to him
Sure, he has human friends like April, but even she freaked when she first met him
Not you though, and as he runs off to catch up with his brothers, he finds himself unable to stop thinking of this memorable encounter
Leonardo:
Leo is stunned by your kind thank you versus the usual display of fear he receives, there’s a reason he tried to be super stealthy after all
He’ll actually ask if you’re not scared of him, sounding casual about it but feeling the exact opposite
You’re denying response gives him a sense of relief and curiosity, but also apprehension
Are you trying to trick him? Are you secretly part of the Foot Clan?
He can’t help his skepticism towards your kindness, as the leader he’s sort of built this wall against newer people to protect his family
He’ll eye you for a moment, asking if you’re okay to walk home by yourself, and after he’s sure you are truly fine, he’ll be quick to make his leave
It’s sudden and abrupt and while a small part of him feels kind of rude about suddenly dipping, he’s too busy fighting an inner battle about how his whole existence is to stay hidden, and this new desire to be sought by you
Definitely doesn’t tell his brothers about this meeting, last thing Leo needs is for them to encourage the warm hope you’ve instilled within him
~xXx~

The Metalhead is in Steve Harrington’s Clothes (e. munson x reader)
SYNOPSIS: “Just be yourself,” you told him and he wanted to laugh at your innocence. “Please, darling, that’s like, the worst advice,” Eddie said, plopping down beside you. or Eddie’s girlfriend’s dad is his hero and he should’ve listened to you in the first place. REQUESTED: yes WARNINGS: none that i know of WORD COUNT: 5.2k+ helpful links: navigation | master lists | rules and guidelines | tag list | fic recs
A/N: Special shoutout to @omgvirtualcupcakecollection-blog for this incredible request! I hope I did it some justice.
(gif not mine)
When Eddie first asked you out on a date, you were apprehensive. He’s been trying to figure you out for months—a new girl from Los Angeles, California who moved to Hawkins, Indiana for senior year. Why? He first saw you in the hallway, a quiet girl who didn’t seem too shy. Your clothes were a mish-mash. Boots and a floral skirt? He’s surely never seen that around Hawkin’s before. You liked to keep to yourself but still managed to join the music club. Everybody says you’re good at everything—piano, guitar, vocals, and bass.
He sat in, trying to see if you’d be as good as they claim and wow—you were amazing.
You were so effortless in everything you did and there were no traces of bragging or anything like that. You even smiled at him when you saw him looking at you.
“Hey, sorry but…is this right?” Eddie found himself asking. He plays a tune and you listen intently.
“May I?” you asked and he extended the guitar to you. You play the same tune. “You’re starting very well but you kind of used a higher chord register,” you moved your fingers and Eddie watched. “Try playing it at a lower chord like this,”
“Makes more sense. Thank you,” he says, taking his guitar back. “I’m Eddie,”
“Hi, Eddie,” you greeted, telling him your name. “You’re good at playing the guitar. Who trained you?” you asked, sitting down beside him.
“My uncle,” he replied. “and then self-taught. What about you?”
“That’s impressive,” you nodded. “I’m uh, classically taught but my mom and dad taught me everything that I needed to know,”
“What else can you play?” he asked. “I can only play the guitar but I’be been wanting to learn more,”
“Piano, guitar, and bass,” you said. “I’m trying to learn the drums but people at home complain because it’s so loud,”
Eddie chuckled.
“Are you free after school?” you asked him, trying to make the first move. He was your first friend—or maybe the first person who decided to know you and he seemed trustworthy enough. Eddie raises his brows. You beat him to it.
“Depends on who’s asking,” he replied. “Is it you?”
“Yeah,” you nodded. “We have a small music studio back home and we can do a session there. The driver picks me up and we can go there together and drop you off wherever,”
“Your parents won’t mind?”
“They’ve been telling me to make friends for weeks now. I think they’ll be glad,” you chuckled before faltering. “I mean, we’re friends now, right?”
“Yeah,” Eddie nodded. “You’re pretty cool,”
“Meet me at the main door?”
“Okay,”
The bell rings and students fill the hallways, everyone excited to go home. Eddie was more excited to play the guitar with you. He was skipping to the main door, pushing everyone aside until he saw you.
“Eddie!” you called. He smiled and jogged towards you. “Come! The car’s waiting for us,”
You grabbed ahold of his hand and guided him to a nondescript black car.
“Hey, kid,” your driver greeted you as soon as you opened the door. “Going home?”
“Yeah,” you nodded. “This is Eddie, he’s coming home to play the guitar. Eddie, this is Leo,” you introduced them to each other. Eddie gave him a shy smile and a wave while Leo nodded.
“Mom’s not home. She left last night to go to LA. So, it’s just me, Leo, and Grace at home. They’ve been taking care of me since I was little. They’re like my second set of parents,” you told Eddie, who was sitting tensely beside you. “Do you want anything for dinner?”
“Anything is fine,” he says, too shy to make a request.
“Did Grace cook something?”
“Roasted chicken, I think,” Leo replied, studying Eddie through the rearview mirror. “Is Eddie joining us for dinner?”
“Are you joining us for dinner?”
“If I’m not going to bother…” he answers honestly. “But it’s fine, I can eat dinner at home,”
“No, it’s fine. I insist you join us,” you said.
“Okay, then,” Eddie smiles.
The car stops in what seemed to be the biggest house in Steve Harrington’s gated community. Jesus Christ.
“The studio is in the shed. Come, I’ll show you! Leo can bring our things,”
You held Eddie’s hand again, his guitar and bag secured on his body. You gave him no time to look around the house but took him to the backyard instead. There was a pool and a shed beside it. You opened the door of the shed and Eddie’s mouth almost goes slack.
The studio was lined with wooden panels all over, shelves of memorabilia on display. There was a vinyl player and a shelf of vinyl somewhere on the side, an array of expensive musical instruments littering the area. Is this what kids in Los Angeles do? Casually have a studio in the backyard of their mansions?
“My family loves music. My dad, mom, and I spend most of our time here. My dad taught me the bass and the guitar while my mom taught me how to play the piano. It’s like we have our own little band,”
You take him to a beautiful guitar hanging on the wall.
“This is my guitar,” you told him. “My dad gifted it to me on my 16th birthday. You wanna play?”
Before Eddie could say yes, you handed him your guitar. He strummed a few chords and it was the most beautiful thing ever. It had the most beautiful sound. You played your bass along and played with him in silence.
You didn’t notice the time but you spent the rest of the day teaching each other songs, laughing at jokes, and talking about Hawkins. You liked hanging out with him. He was honest, funny, and was always respectful.
Leo dropped Eddie off at school while you talked to your mom.
“Is dad there?” you asked over the phone.
“Yeah. He says hi,”
“I made a friend today, mom,” you told her. “His name is Eddie and he loves music as much as I do. He’s great,”
-
IT’S BEEN MONTHS SINCE YOU first met. Eddie was still Eddie and while you heard about the mean things everybody seemed to say, Eddie didn’t care. Hawkins wondered why someone like you spent so much
time with somebody like him but you were just so similar.
In the few months that you’ve been with Eddie, you’ve been best friends. When you were sick once, he brought you chicken soup. He took you to the trailer park where he introduced you to his Uncle Wayne. He showed you his black and red guitar that he like to call “My Darling.”
It’s been months since Eddie asked you for help in the music club and everyday, he wonders if you’re feeling the same way. You were his best friend and there was nothing in this world that he would not do for you. He was wrapped around your finger and you didn’t even know it.
“Eddie,” you called. You were both in the music studio. He was strumming along to an unfamiliar tune. “What are you playing?”
Eddie stills in his seat.
“Just…just some song that I’m working on,”
“Can I hear it? Will you play it at the Hideout?” you asked eagerly. It was a different melody—softer and more intimate? You wondered if he wrote it for a girl. He’s been looking at the cheerleader’s table more frequently. Your heart feels heavy. You’ve had a crush on Eddie since the first time you helped him with guitar. You just couldn’t say it because he was your best friend.
You would just jeopardize your friendship with him.
“S-sure,” he nodded, maybe you’d get a clue of how he was feeling. “It’s not yet finished but you know,”
Eddie strums his guitar and you are transported to so many memories with him. The song had no words to it yet but it was perfect. It was calm, like how falling in love sounds like and you found yourself nodding along.
“This is like the first draft, so,” Eddie trailed off.
“It’s good,” you encouraged. “You have a crush, huh?”
“How did you know?”
“You literally just played about it,” you told him. “Who is it?”
“You don’t know her,” Eddie lied, his eyes everywhere but you.
“Is it…me?” you teased, half-joking. “Is that why you don’t wanna tell me? You know, it would be okay to tell me if it’s me,” You said, hoping, wishing that it was you.
“How did you know?” Eddie asked, his eyes wide.
“It’s…me?” you clarified. You stood up at Eddie’s silence, your comfortable position on the couch long gone. “Are you shitting me right now, Eds?”
“No,” he replied. “I’m being honest,”
“So…you’ve been crushing on me?” you asked. “Eddie, if this is a fucking joke to you, it’s cruel.”
“No, I’m being honest! I, I like you a lot . Like, I joined the music club because I wanted to know you; stayed for you. It’s not a joke. You don’t have to like me back or anything, I—“
“I like you too, Eddie,” you replied, a smile on your face.
“Now you’re shitting me,” Eddie laughed. How could you like him back? You were eons away from each other. You were—are—his dream girl and how could have things be so easy?
“I’m not!” you argued, laughing off the nerves.
“If you’re not, then you’ll allow me to take you out on a date,” he proposes and you blush.
“Deal,” you agreed. “Tell me the details and I’ll be ready,”
Eddie left the house that night, a skip in his step. The coolest girl in Hawkins liked him back. Maybe things could be this easy.
“Leo says that a boy has been picking you up. Is it Eddie?” your father asked. It was your nightly phone call with your parents.
“Yeah,” you told him through the phone. “He asked me out on a date today.”
“And…?”
“I said yes,” you told him. “You’ll like him dad. He’s so cool,”
-
ONE DATE CAME AFTER ANOTHER. Your first date was spent in a record store in a city outside Hawkins. He told you to get a vinyl that you’ve been dying to get while he got a tape of his favorite’s band’s latest album. He took you to ‘Hawkins’s Treasures’ which consisted of his favorite diner and a novelty shop. Eddie bought everything your eyes focused on. He probably spent his whole monthly allowance but it was worth it anyway.
One day, Eddie woke up with a smile on his face—a realization of something that felt like a prophecy; felt like the truth. Eddie was humming as he prepared himself a cup of coffee, a coffee mug of his uncle’s cradled between his hands. Eddie was one hundred percent sure that he was meant to be your boyfriend. How he got to that conclusion was well beyond him. (Everything he did always went back to you somehow.)
That afternoon, Eddie calls your house, hoping that it was you who would answer. You didn’t set up a meeting with him today but he was hoping for you to have him pick you up so he could finally ask you to be his girlfriend. Your phone rings three times before someone picks it up.
“Hello?” an unknown but familiar voice answers. He wasn’t sure if it was Leo but it was worth the shot.
“Hi, Leo. It’s Eddie,” he starts. “I was wondering if I could talk to Y/N?”
“You can but this is not Leo. This is her father,” the voice replied. “Let me call her,”
Before Eddie could speak, he could hear your dad call for your name. Jesus Christ—how bad is it to mistake your dad as Leo?
“Hi, Eddie,” he hears your sweet voice drip all over his phone. “My dad said you were looking for me?”
“Yeah, I, he swallows. “Do you want to meet up? Today? I have something to ask you…”
“Hm…around what time? I have to be back before dinner,” you told him. Eddie looks at the clock on the wall. It was two forty three in the afternoon. That was enough time.
“Can I come pick you up at three thirty?” he asks.
“Yeah,” you replied. “Pick me up?”
“Yeah,” Eddie replied. “See you,”
“See you,”
Eddie parks in front of your driveway at three fifteen. Unknown to him, your father was looking through the window.
“Your boyfriend’s here,” he grunted.
“Dad! He’s not my boyfriend,” you told him. You laughed at the scene in front of you—your dad in his ratted band shirt, tattoos littering his body. His hair was tied in a low pany tail, a pout on his face.
“Just be here before dinner,” he reminded you. “Mom’s cooking,”
“Yeah,” you nodded. “Should I go out now?” you asked him.
“Maybe in eight minutes. You don’t want that Eddie boy to know that you’ve been waiting for him,” he said. “Be safe, okay?”
“We’re not doing anything!”
“I’m just saying! He’s a teenage boy, you’re a teenage girl. Does he know?”
“No, not yet,” you told him. “Maybe soon,”
Your dad watched as you paced impatiently in the living room. He smiled. You reminded him of his youth; going on dates and trying to downplay your excitement. In some ways, you were thankful that your dad was not as strict as some parents. He’d let you go on dates, experience life, and all of that. He was the fun parent and your mom was the stricter one. You had a dumb smile on your face and you didn’t care if your dad saw it.
“Okay, okay,” your dad sighed. “Get out of my house before I change my mind,”
You beamed.
“Okay! I’ll see you tonight. Bye, dad!” you kissed your dad on the cheek before running out. He watched as Eddie opened the door for you, a smile on both of your faces. Young love.
It took two dates for Eddie to ask you to be his girlfriend and you agreed. It took two months of bliss to finally have your parents ask if they could meet them. It was a shared dinner, one of the weekends when you’re dad was home.
“I’d like to meet this Eddie boy,” he suddenly said, putting his utensils down.
“Really, dad?” you asked eagerly. “You’re gonna love him. I swear. You know he learned to play Master of Puppets in like, two weeks? And he’s such a good songwriter too,”
“Yeah. Your mom and I have been talking about it and well, it’s about time we meet that boy who’s been keeping you so busy,” he replied, taking mental note of your adoration for this boy named Eddie Munson. “I’ll be here until next week, do you think we could meet him then?”
“Yeah. I’ll ask him,” you nodded. You were elated, the two most important men in your life are finally meeting and you were so excited because they had the same interests. It was how you found yourself in Eddie’s trailer, telling him to meet your parents.
“Come on, Eds,” you said. “My dad is going to love you,”
“What would I even do?” Eddie asked.
“Just be yourself,” you told him and he wanted to laugh at your innocence.
“Please, darling, that’s like, the worst advice,” Eddie said, plopping down beside you. Upon the sight of your slight frown, he sighed and kissed the crease. “Okay, I’ll be there. I know you really want me to and I’m doing this for you, okay?”
“Okay,” you beamed, pecking his lips quickly. “Thank you, baby.” He could’ve swooned but he was too busy worrying. How would he impress your father? It was so obvious that his opinions mattered the most to you. What if he decided that Eddie wasn’t worth the trouble? That you were way to good for him? He probably could never handle that—you were one of the blessings that Eddie was always grateful for.
His desperation leads him to the bedroom of Steve Harrington. He arrived there, all anxious, telling Steve that Eddie badly needed his pretty boy clothes—because all he wore were plaids, t-shirts that probably passed as Satanic, and his jackets. He needed Steve Harrington’s cashmere sweater or whatever it was that he had. He needed to impress your dad.
“I have these light shirts that you could probably wear with your jeans,” Steve said, showing Eddie a red and white stretch polo shirt that was passable enough. “I don’t have anything darker since they’re all in the wash,”
“That’s fine. I’ll take this,” Eddie said.
“You need anything else or…?”
“No, this is okay, I think. Wait, should I tie my hair up or should I put it in a bun?” Eddie asked.
“A bun will probably hide the length of your hair better,” Steve offered. “Like, a neat bun. You could prepare here tomorrow, you know? Like, I’ll call Robin over so she could fix you up and we’ll drop you off,”
“Yeah, yeah. That’s good. Thanks, man,” Eddie said, meaning every word.
-
Three knocks on your door and you were zooming down the stairs but your dad beat you to it. He opens the door to find…Eddie? You had to slow down your pace and cock your head to the side. Even your dad had his hands on his waist in confusion. This couldn’t possibly be the same boy he saw months ago. He had a beat up van, unruly hair, and clothes but now he was presenting himself with a tight bun with a few stray hairs, someone else’s shirt, and his one pair of pants without tatters.
Eddie on the other hand, wanted to faint. Right before him was the frontman of one of his favorite bands ever, Zilch. Oh my God, oh my God because this was the worst time to dress up like a preppy boy and Oh my God, oh my God because your dad is quite literally his hero? It explains why you were so well-off. He always wondered, with the rest of Hawkins—noble family of another country, crime family, or maybe real estate tycoons? Now, he knows. You’re the daughter of his hero and he was dressed like Steve fucking Harrington. His finest cashmere shirt felt so itchy on his skin, he just wanted to probably crawl somewhere and be buried along with his ratty shirts.
“Dad,” you called. “This is Eddie, my boyfriend. Eddie, this is my dad,”
How was it possible that the girl of his dreams and the man he always wanted to be were right in front of him?
“H-hello, sir,” Eddie stuttered both from embarrassment and anxiety. He should’ve believed you when you told him to be himself. Now, he’s probably cemented as a preppy school boy your father will never like.
“Eddie Munson,” your father greeted, extending his hand towards him. He took note of Eddie’s rings and his tattoos peeking. There are traces of the Eddie that you told him about but still, no Eddie in plain sight. “Come in. We prepared something special for you,”
You waited for Eddie to come in before following your dad.
“Why are you dressed like Steve?” you whispered.
“Why didn’t you tell me that he’s your dad?” he whispered back. Oh. He wanted to impress your dad so bad that he had to pretend to be someone else. Your hand found its way to his and he visibly relaxed.
“Don’t worry, Eddie,” you said. “He’s going to love you. Just be yourself,”
Eddie walks into your dining room. Despite being here for months, he never truly got inside your home. It was always the music shed or the pool but never inside. He understood now. Your house was lined with multiple awards and memorabilia.
Eddie was greeted by your mom and you all sat. He felt like he was being scrutinized and he was—Jesus Christ he just wore the wrong shirt and took the wrong advice. Why didn’t he believe you again?
“Eddie, I would appreciate if you don’t tell anybody that we’re the parents,” your dad started. “I value the privacy of my family too much that’s why we bought a house here. We wanted our daughter to live normally until she chooses to be introduced to the public and she hasn’t done that yet. It would be a shame it someone leaked something,”
“Dad,” you warned him. Eddie was visibly sweating.
“Y-yes, sir,” Eddie stuttered. Oh God.
“Well, that’s good then,” your mom spoke. “Hi, Eddie welcome to the family,”
Your mom was excited. Eddie was the first guy you talked to them about. Your first serious boyfriend that you actually really liked and in your mother’s eyes, he sees a kind boy.
“Welcome,” your dad chirped. “Help yourself to everything, Eddie. We want you to feel welcomed,”
“Thank you, sir,” was Eddie’s meek reply.
“Our daughter says you have a band?” your father asked and Eddie wanted to swoon. Your father, Zilch’s frontman, was asking about his band. Albeit that it was because he wanted to know what his daughter’s boyfriend is up to but still, he was asking.
“Corroded Coffin, sir,” Eddie replied. “We play at the Hideout once a week,”
“How did you two meet?” your mother asked. Obviously, she knew how you met. She just wanted to hear it from Eddie.
“She taught me how to improve my guitar,” Eddie replied. Your mother caught the fond smile on his face. “I was having trouble playing and she helped me. We became friends and she took me to the music shed, ma’am,”
“Oh, Eddie! Stop with the pleasantries,” your mom chided. “You can just call me by my name or something. Ma’am makes me feel old,” she laughed.
“What’s your intention?” your dad asked.
“Oh my God, dad!” you scolded. “Eddie’s nervous as it is. Don’t make it harder for him,” you reached for Eddie’s hands once again.
“Good intentions, sir,” Eddie replied. “I really like your daughter and uh,—I know that your opinion about me matters but I mean well,”
“So, you didn’t know about us…?”
“No, sir. We bonded over our love for music and well, your daughter’s just really good so we play together,” Eddie said. He was being honest. It was what drew him into you—your passion for music, your voice, and everything you do. There was never a moment in his life when he thought that the only reason why he was dating you was because of the fancy things you have. It was all you.
“You any good, though?” your father asked. “I mean, how are you with your guitar? I heard you learned Master of Puppets in two weeks. That’s pretty impressive,”
“Right, dad?” you chimed in. “He’s good with the guitar. He could probably match you in a jamming session or something. He’s that cool,”
“Would you like to play?” your dad asked. “Not today, of course. Maybe tomorrow when you’re more comfortable,”
“Really?” Eddie asked, starstruck. What did he do to deserve this? He didn’t want to assume but if your dad wanted to jam with him, that must mean something, right?
“Yeah,” your dad nodded. “You’re the first boy our daughter ever brought home and we really want to get to know you,” You smiled. Your dad’s tough guy act was starting to soften up and you could feel Eddie get more relaxed too.
“We’ve been wanting to meet you for so long. Sometimes, when you pick her up, I have to restrain her dad not to scare you off,” your mom replied. “But Leo told us that you’re a good guy and we trust Leo. That’s why we wanted to learn more about you,”
“All we hear is Eddie, Eddie, Eddie,” your dad added, making you groan. “Eddie’s so cool, Eddie’s good, Eddie took me out on a date,”
Eddie chuckled at your dad’s impersonation of your voice. It was hyperbolic how pitchy it was but it was funny.
“She speaks very highly of you,” your mom said. “She’s a good judge of character so we trust you, okay?”
“Thank you,” Eddie replied. “It really means a lot to me.”
And it did. He was the resident Freak of Hawkins. He was so scared coming in today and now, the heavens blessed him with an angel and your parents’ trust.
“You know my band, Eddie?” your father asked.
“Yes, sir,” Eddie replied. “A big fan, really,”
“Really?” your father asked. Usually, when people say that they’re big fans, they were just ways to impress him. “Favorite album?”
“Zilch Collaboration CD#1,” Eddie replied. Your dad’s eyebrows raised in surprise. His collaboration CD’s were usually gatekept by the fans. There was no way in hell a fake fan would know about them. “I had to go to Indianapolis to get a copy of it when I learned about it. My uncle got me my first Zilch tape when I was about fourteen? It was his birthday gift for me,”
“Oh,” was your father’s reply. “I’m glad that you liked it. It’s my favorite too. I made it with my bandmates on a whim after our first album. We were so high on adrenaline that we buried ourselves in the studio and just wrote and wrote. We asked so many musicians to collaborate with us and they did. We released it, no promo, no announcement, no anything. We just wanted to release something else other than rock. It’s more like a mixtape in that sense, you know? There’s ballad, pop-rock, metal, and all that. Really liked it. You know, there’s a special edition for that? It was never released but it’s like a secret kept among us bandmates,”
You were happy. Your dad and Eddie were finally bonding. It didn’t matter if you were just listening to your mom, dad, and Eddie speak. They looked so comfortable with each other. You were eating in silence when Eddie’s voice called your name. You didn’t know what they were talking about now. You were just happy.
“She’s the kindest person I know,” Eddie said. “I’m basically the Freak of Hawkins but she didn’t care. I’m really grateful for her,” You looked up to see Eddie’s soft eyes on you.
“Her and her mom are quite the same in that aspect. I didn’t have friends in high school too. I mean, you probably know my story already. Single mother barely making ends meet for my siblings and I but my wife helped me out of that shell,” your dad said. “Like mother, like daughter but in the best way,”
The dinner came to an end. Your mom and dad obviously liked Eddie very much.
“Come back here tomorrow in more appropriate attire, Eddie,” your father said from the couch. You were walking him to his van. “Don’t forget the packed food for your uncle,”
“Yes, sir! It was great meeting the two of you,” Eddie said. When you closed the door, Eddie looked at you with a glint in his eyes.
“Oh my God,” he breathed, tackling you in a hug. “You knew how big of a fan I was and he’s your dad? And my sweet, sweet girlfriend is you? I did something so right, huh, baby?” he asked, his arms never leaving your waist.
“Yeah,” you laughed. “I told you you only had to be yourself. Did you have fun?”
“Yeah. I spent my night with my baby. Of course, I’ll have fun,” he replied. “Oh, my God. I just couldn’t believe it,” he said, peppering your face with so many kisses, making you chuckle. “I’m the luckiest man alive!”
“Eddie! They’ll hear you,” you told him, sobering him up.
“I hope you don’t think that I’m only with you because of all this,” he said. “I know how it might look like, but I swear on my life—“
“I know, Eddie,” you told him. “I know,”
Your assurance was enough to Eddie. Maybe it was all the adrenaline but Eddie didn’t care anymore. He wanted to tell you what he’s been dying to tell you. Maybe it was your parents’ obvious approval that served as an ego boost or an encouragement, either way he didn’t care. Thumpthumpthumpthumpthump. All Eddie could hear was his heart racing and he knew that if he didn’t tell you, he’d combust. So, he stood nearer, his toes against yours, arms tighter around your body. Oh my God. Oh my God.
“I love you,” he said, three words that held more bearing than anything he’s ever said before. “It doesn’t matter if you feel the same. I mean—it does, it really does but if you aren’t there yet, then, that’s okay,” He shyly smiles down at you, pink tinting his cheeks.
“Eddie,” you smiled. “You love me? I love you too,”
“You do?”
“Yeah,” you nodded. “And stop being so shy about it,”
“Okay but only because I love you,” he said.
A knock on the window broke you from each other, your father glowering at the sight of the two of you so close together. He liked Eddie but he didn’t like seeing his only daughter be so lovey-dovey with her boyfriend.
“Hey! There are adults here!” he exclaimed. It was teasing but it was still enough for Eddie to break away from you and give your dad an apologetic smile.
“That’s my cue,” you said. “I’ll see you tomorrow?”
“8:00 am. Sharp,” he said, kissing you one last time before running to his van with his take-out like a madman.
-
Sounds of electric guitar and drums play heavily from your music shed. You walked in to see your dad playing his drums while Eddie played along with his ‘Darling”; a blck and red guitar that your dad seemed to also like.
“That’s what I’m talking about, Eddie! Take it away!” your dad shouts over the music, encouraging your boyfriend, who, after a few weeks, became like your dad’s mentee. You watched from the door as Eddie took the guitar solo of Metallica’s Master of Puppets. The first shreds were okay but he had to pressure himself into perfecting it in front of your dad. Most importantly, he wanted to impress you. So, so, so bad because he didn’t want you to think he was lame.
But he wasn’t.
In your eyes, he hung the stars in the sky. He was so…understanding when it came to you. A pinch of the brow, a little sigh…he knows everything about you. He’d always help you out in whatever way, opening doors for you, listening to you talk about your day—hell, he’d even use another voice to talk to your stuffed toys. He’s always heavy metal in front but in reality, he was made for you.
“Hey, hey!” your dad roared, after Eddie’s guitar solo. “Good job, Eddie!”
“Thanks, sir!” Eddie said. He looks at you by the door and smiles. “May I…?”
“Fine, fine. Leave the poor old man alone and go,” your dad rolled his eyes. Eddie laughed apologetically before allowing himself to be dragged by you.
“Having fun with my dad?” you asked. He nodded, his arm around your shoulders, pulling you in closer.
“Yeah but I’ll have more fun with you,” he said. “So, where are we going next?”
“Out of here?”
He nodded and opened the door for his van. He got in to rev it up and he drove into the sunset. He’e never thought he’d feel this way before—happy and contented; all because of you. Hii! Can you do a fanfic/headcanons just basically abt gn!reader being lady lesso's best student and the special treatment they get and basically leo being a motherly figure for them and being (so rarely) caring towards their mental health and so on (I have mommy issues in case you couldn't tell) bunch of fluff please!
Lavender's Blue: Lady Lesso x Student Reader (Motherly Story)
A/N: This is my first time answering a request on her so I hope you like it.
Warnings: Mentions of anxiety.
You weren't a reader and your parents weren't famous villains so you'd spent most of your life, easily flying under other people's radar's, sometimes you liked it because it provided you with a sense of security and feeling of peace but there were times when you hated it and just wished someone would notice you.
you had now started at the School for Good and Evil and had been sorted into the School for Evil. At first you were apprehensive about being there, unsure as to whether you'd be able to fit or not.
It was your first day and nothing much happened outside of the usual first day of school stuff like getting your timetable and dorm room. It wasn't until your second day that you began your lessons and you actually enjoyed them all.
You seemed to be excelling all of your lessons (except for uglification of course) and quickly you were put into the centre of attention of most of the teachers, at first you liked it but you soon came to hate it as well.
It wasn't until your second week into the first term that began a new subject, Curses and Death Traps and then that's when you met her, the one teacher who quickly grasped your attention.
It was Lady Lesso, the Dean of the School for Evil that had quickly become your infatuation. Each time you had her you made sure to be the first in her lesson and because of how slowly you packed up you soon began to have the opportunity to speak to her.
From then each lesson you had before her's you would count down the minutes, then you would greet the red-head with a hello at the start of the lesso and a goodbye at the end. You'd finally found a place in this school where you felt safe, Lady Lesso's classroom and her presence had become your safe space, your place of security.
By the end of the first term you had now been able to have a full length conversation with Lesso and she would actually respond. She'd ask you how your day had been thus far and how you were finding your other classes, she truly become someone you trusted.
So much so that one day you'd forgotten to think other what you were about to say and had accidentally told her of how you'd suffer with anxiety and the chest pain it would cause you and after that day things began to change.
No longer were you sat at the front of the classroom where all the other student's attention would linger on you, instead Lesso had moved you to the back of the classroom, one of the windows closest to you was now always open during your lessons so you could breathe in the fresh air and lastly Lesso had made sure that a vial of lavender oil sat at your desk so that you could enjoy its calming scent.
She'd truly had put so much consideration into you and your lessons, you truly did lover her platonically of course seeing as you were only 15-years-old.
It was now a Tuesday morning and Lesso opened the door to her classroom, expecting to see you sat at your desk waiting for the lesson to begin but when Lesso surveyed the room you weren't there. It was then that Lesso began to worry, you were never late to one of her lessons. At first she thought you might have simply over slept and were on your way but when other students began to flood into the room and you weren't one of them Lesso truly began to panic.
Quickly, without any warning, she left her classroom not even bothering to find someone to cover her lesso, she didn't care, all she cared about in that moment was finding you.
Lesso walked speedily down the corridor her cane and heels clicking heavily on the stone floor as she walked briskly to your dorm, where she hoped you were.
Coming to the door of your room Lesso carefully opened the door and began to survey the room looking for you and that's when she found you curled up on your bed. Your head tucked into your arms, hair in a slight disarray and your body shaking slightly from what Lesso soon heard were sobs.
Lesso walked cautiously other to you, extending her arm out to gently pat you on the shoulder, "Y/n," She said calmly and quickly your mind registered the voice of your favourite teacher and you looked up to see Lady lesso standing other you.
"What's wrong?" lesso asked you as she disregarding her cane and sat on the edge of your bed, allowing you the time to answer. She knew that you just needed time and she would give you that.
"It's all to much!" you then exclaimed head looking up from your arms as you tried to wipe away the tears that sat atop your cheeks as you continued to cry.
Lesso's heart broke in that moment as she watched you cry anew unsure of what she could to help you feel better. Quickly, not caring for the fact of her injured leg that prevented her from walking far distances, Lesso brought both her legs up onto your bed, tucking when under the other and the she stretched out her arms and pulled you towards her chest.
She knew that you didn't want to speak, that you didn't want people asking you what was wrong, she also knew that all you wanted to do was to cry. You wanted to cry but you also wanted to held, to be hugged by someone who cared about you and that was what Lesso was doing.
Lesso had pulled you so close to her chest that now you were sat atop her lap, head resting just bellow her chin. Holding you like a mother would hold her child.
Lesso knew she wanted to do more, she wanted to help you stop crying and to make you smile. So not that she was all that happy about the Dean of the School for Evil did what all mothers and women did for their children when they cried and began to sing a lullaby to Y/n.
"Lavender's blue dilly dilly, lavender's green, when I am King dilly you shall be Queen. Let the birds sing dilly dilly, and the lambs play, you shall be safe dilly dilly out of harms way."
Lesso began to sing a lullaby to you trying all she could to make you smile and though she was annoyed to admit it as the Dean of Evil it had actually been her first idea to help stop your falling tears.
As she continued to sing the lullaby to you, you began to snuggle closer into her chest, your cries began to quieten until they stopped completely and Lesso sat there holding you. "I love you mummy."

Lore
Leonardo was born a year before Raphael.
Leo was very timid and shy as a child.
Being very emotional, he would often cry a lot as a child and often relied on his mom and his older brother Rapheal when he had the chance to.
After the incident, his mom started struggling and often got annoyed by Leo’s cries.
Raphael grew overprotective over his siblings, so when Leo was upset Raphael would be protecting him at all costs.
When he was five, the family of 4 (plus splinter) were evacuated from Dimension X because of a Kraang attack, which caused them to get seperated from his mother which made him more upset.
While on the ship, Leo became anxious and restless without his mom, so he immediately attached to his older brother, letting him get overprotective.
His escape pod landed in Japan where he was found by a nice old fisherman.
The fisherman decided to raise Leo up until he was 10
The fisherman really cared a lot about the ocean and did his hardest to protect it.
Leonardo looked up to the fisherman and saw him as a hero.
However, he worked for TCRI and fell victim to one of The FOOT’s attacks, which costed his life.
Leonardo tried to fight back against them, but was only chased away.
Wanting to get rid of all crime, Leo decided to become a hero of his own.
Leo went into hiding underwater and trained himself to fight.
Living underwater caused him to unlock his abilities that were originally erased from him.
He covered his identity with a diver suit and used a fishing spear as a weapon.
Leo started traveling across the world, stopping all crime with his spear. (aka he may or may not have been killing people)
His actions as a bounty hunter (a killing bounty hunter) he was dubbed by the public and all who fears him as “Depths”
Despite being a intimidating hero, Leonardo usually finds himself cowering in fear and freezing up in battle. Thankfully the diver mask he wears hides his fearful face.
During these years, Leo discovers a group of thieves called the Purple Dragons which was lead by a mysterious guy in a mech suit.
He decides to take them down, but thanks to the leader he always fails. Which leads him to constantly follow them.
At the age of 16, he found himself in New York after following the Purple Dragons.
He discovers one of the members and strives to completely kill them.
Until he was discovered by a human named Casey Jones.
Casey suggests that maybe killing criminals isn’t a good idea since its also bad.
Leonardo rethinks his ideas and feels incredibly guilty but Casey decides to try and help him out.

Chapter 12
Cw: postpartum depression, alcoholic relapse(if you know the proper term for it please tell me), anxiety
Taglist: @zablife @wandawiccan60 @thegreatdragonfruta @babayaga67
“If you keep coddling him like that, he will turn out spoiled.” Audrey looked with disapproval at Luca who bounced his son on his knee while Eva bustled in the kitchen putting the cook and maids on edge as she had them try to match her fast pace.
“Give him to me, the last thing we need is your guests to think she’s taken your balls too.” She added holding out her arms and reaching for his two-and-a-half-year-old son.
Leonardo, his Leoncino, cries the moment Luca’s stepmother’s hands brush against his torso.
“What guests? Its just you, papa and Angel.” Luca taunted her by continuing to play with his boy.
He had almost lost Eva when she miscarried, he had seen her depressive periods ---often accompanied by Dido’s Lament playing on the gramophone--- and feared he would come home to find her gone.
But then with the same strength and grace she carried herself after a lifetime of war, Luca watched her return to life.
Its 1924 now, nearly five years after you would think that never happened.
“Have you considered giving the boy a sorellina?” Audrey tried her best to be good, not that it worked, Luca hated her guts and Eva couldn’t stand her even with quite a lot of bribery.
Once he fucked Eva in a confessional to keep her from throttling Audrey for insinuating she was insane to his English cousins.
Eva slammed a cabinet door as she heard the question.
Eva was not ready to go through it all again.
The pregnancy had left her a mess, buying and reading books on parenting, on coping with her past and once he had found her drunk out her mind screaming for him to take Leo and leave because she was cursed.
She was not well.
He had been warned of it and told her uncle that he could handle whatever came. Luca had not lied, he was committed to her and when he realized her loved her, he knew he would rather kill himself than be without her.
She’s bewitched you; Matteo had said with disgust. Matteo loved his wife, but was not devoted to her like Luca was to his.
“We will have another when it happens, matrigna.” He answered curtly, reminding her that she was his father’s wife, not his real mother.
If Eva thought if having Luca’s family visit for Thanksgiving and Leo’s third birthday at their new house was a test of her patience, then she was right.
She is always right; it is one of the many curses she was born with.
“Rilassare, Evuccia,” Luca whispers as he kissed her bare shoulder after putting Leo to bed. “Relax.”
Vincenzo eyed her with suspicion, Angel was nice, but they were very much strangers still and Audrey was an eternal thorn at her side.
She wants a granddaughter; people were getting suspicious that Eva was taking long to have another, and Luca was not getting any younger.
If you wait too long people will think he is not man enough, she had warned as she ‘helped’ her in the kitchen.
Why does no one understand why she is apprehensive to have another?
She wants more children, she has seen she will another one, a daughter with her freckles.
Even the universe is telling her its time.
Fuck your fears, the cards said last night. Rosabla Isabel Changretta will be born in 1924.
“I’m sorry, I’ve ruined your time with your family.” She grumbled and turned her head to kiss him.
Something was worrying him.
“Angel bought an engagement ring today, for the woman I told you about. La Puttana in the gyps---”
“Romani,” Eva chides him as she tugged his sleeve in the direction of the bedroom. "Please don't call her a whore, she's a secretary now and put her past behind her.
If we play our cards right you can have a kingdom of our own."
She likes talking business, likes how he gets when he talks about his plans. Makes for good loving, like him getting his blood running in a fight.
“Fine, the Romani gang causing trouble for us. Run by idiots, the leader, Thomas Shelby married the narc they sent him and his aunt let him.
Easy pickings and we won't ever have to listen to anyone else."
There was history there.
With the aunt at least.
He is a fantastic lover, woman wept when they learned he was monogamous.
If Eva didn’t have him wrapped around her fingers, she would be worried he’d leave her for someone closer to his age.
“Should I be wary of this aunt?” the witch asked feigning jealousy even as she unbuttons his vest and shirt.
He likes it when she’s jealous, likes knowing she’d give the other women seeking him a run for their money.
“Hmm, no. No woman could hold a candle to you, tesoro.” He turns the tables on her and shoves her roughly against the wall.
“Prove it, Luca.” She smiles wickedly when that dangerous look in his eyes intensifies letting her know she’s in for a good time.
“Tell me how, maga, and I’ll prove it to you.” He pressed against her, kissed her neck and jaw and a part of her knew this passion would go out like a light the moment she says it.
“Give me another baby.”
And with those four words, the mood is killed.
“Are you sure?” he asks his brow creasing with worry.
She knows pregnancy and all its imbalance made her a wreck, she knows she should not let Audrey’s nagging get to her.
But she wants the sweet little girl she sees in the cards, their Rosalba, her perfectly magical little rose.
One brown eye, one green eye with Luca’s skill with a piano and her dancing.
“Rosalba, after your mother.” She nods.
